Round Table Pizza

I don’t like leaving bad reviews. I really like Round Table Pizza, but there are issues nearly ever time I order from them. One time I placed a pick up order online and they didn’t even know about the Order when I arrived, then didn’t know how to refund me when I wanted to cancel. There have been 3 or 4 other frustrations that occurred also. I hope they read this and feel motivated to try to run things better.

Unfortunately our Pizza was over cooked, border line burnt to a crisp..., and the garlic twists under cooked...

Ordered delivery from here. Everything was fine but they forgot all the ranch. The 2 that came Free and the one I PAID for. I drove to the location and let them know. The person working at the front was nice and gave me the ranch plus some. But I feel like I’m probably not the only person that ends up having this issue.

$46 for an extra large pizza....from Round Table. LOL that will never happen. Zacharys Deep Dish..5 times better for less than 40 bucks. So uh...NO THANKS

Ordered delivery from here. Everything was fine but they forgot all the ranch. The 2 that came Free and the one I PAID for. I drove to the location and let them know. The person working at the front was nice and gave me the ranch plus some. But I feel like I’m probably not the only person that ends up having this issue.

I phone in my pizza order every time because I like a little bit of extra sauce. The normal amount they put on these pizzas is actually "light sauce" IMO. So I call in and ask for extra sauce. At the end of the call I ask "did you get the extra sauce part?" Answer, yes. Pick up the pizza, $34.40. No extra sauce. I think the reason this happened is because this place is understaffed. Always. Round Table has been my favorite pizza place for 50 yrs. Not so much nowadays. I have been eating RT Pizza since a large King Arthur Supreme was $4.25. With shrimp, no anchovies. Early 70's in Fremont Ca. The stores in & around Pleasant Hill have been terrible. Always something wrong with the pizza. There is one that is very good. The place on Willow Pass Rd., Concord. I know better than to go anywhere else. This is my fault. The Oak Park store was close & convenient. Never again

Bro I've been ordering pizza from here since I was 10 and never had a problem. But in the last few months everytime I've ordered by phone they send me the wrong order. I just ordered a pepperoni and bacon pizza. The sent a pepperoni and sausage. The lady confirmed I ordered pepperoni and bacon before she hung up. I just want to know how am I supposed to order from this restaurant so I actually get what I ordered. I don't know if you guys just had a new employee but this is the second time this has happened. I tried to call and complain by phone but no one picked up. I called 3 times... This is the worst experience I've had from this restaurant and now I am done ordering from here. Had to edit this to add the pizza was lukewarm when it was delivered.

When my order is ready they did not complete it. I did get my 2 pizzas but not my bread sticks. I asked about the breadsticks she told me they don't have the breadsticks. Truth be told I believe this restaurant in Pleasant Hill is under terrible management and they don't know how to train their employees. Unprofessional here. Today on 12/18/22 will be my last time ordering from this store.

Though the pizza here was as tasty as any other Round Table I've eaten at, I find that, for what we had it was overpriced - please read on and you'll see why. Let me preface this with the fact we had just come from settling my elderly father in after having had surgery so we were mentally exhausted. We asked for specials and were told there was only one for a discount on an extra large pizza. There being just two of us that wouldn't work. We ordered a medium pepperoni for $18.00 only to see a window sticker as we sat down for a large pepperoni for $16.00! What gives?!?! We asked for the specials and the person clearly knew what type of pizza we wanted so why not tell us about this deal? A few extra slices to bring home is worth paying less for the next size up. One last complaint - when I asked for a box for our leftover pizza I was sent clear to the back of the store to pick up my own box. I've NEVER had to do that anywhere else and it felt very unsavory. It will be a very long time before I go here again simply for the fact their customer service, in my opinion, was non-existent.

Came in to pick up a pre-placed order that was placed 20+ minutes ago. Guy is cleaning tables walks over I tell him the name and he says oh there is a problem with the system that's my bad. Then reaches over and grabs the tag that is just sitting there to barely go start the order. If there is a problem then why is the tag just sitting there. Now I have to wait for the pizza to be made and cooked. Go in a few times to see if it's done there is a girl walking around who was also there when I first walked in she never speaks a word or asks me anything the entire time I had to wait for the same guy to come out from the oven area. The place has a sign that says under new management what a joke do yourself a favor and go to a different round table.

However the food has always been good and consistent and it's a convenient location. The reason I'm giving 1 star is because the last time I went there the customer service was horrible and the lady working the counter was incredibly brash and rude and has no people skills whatsoever. While I was waiting, I used the restroom and it smelled HORRIBLE! And not just any kind of bathroom smell but overpowering moldy, mildew smell. I had to hold my nose the entire time I was in there. There must be a serious problem with that building for the smell to be that strong. I would hate to see the kitchen. I will not be a customer here any more.

This is a sad Round Table location, dated and dark. But the negative review is for the text message spam. I’ve opted out repeatedly and never actually gave them my phone to text but just for an online order. Somehow Round Table thinks they have implicit permission to spam me, you don’t, and since you haven’t complied with repeated requests are STOP, I’ll spam you back here.

My family has been ordering take out from here for years. Our bill is usually $50+ dollars for a pizza and sometimes wings, even though we usually have a coupon. The place has a rank odor to it. Friday at 5::pm and the salad bar didn't even have salad in it. When we asked to have it replenished it took an additional 15 plus minutes for that to happen. Very disappointed as it used to be a great pizza parlor.
