Always great service and always accurate with the orders. Even during this time of pandemic craziness they are still dedicated to coming into work while wearing their gloves and masks making me feel comfortable receiving my food.

Always loved the food here, but I haven’t eaten here in years. Does anyone know if the owners are still that black couple? I think the husbands name was Mitch but I could be wrong.

The restaurant is incredibly clean, and the staff is very pleasant. This is the first McDonald's I've been in where the food actually looks like the pictures. We had such a great experience here that I felt compelled to leave a review. This McDonald's location is setting the standards for all other McDonald's locations.

The young lady who took my order, was beyond professional and helpful and very kind. I also was very impressed by how clean and how nice seating was available the food was hot and delicious and I also got a meal deal making it the ultimate experience.

This is probably the best mcdonald's in dutchess county. The employees are pleasant if they are treated with respect, and they are quick as well! I ordered a couple burgers that actually came out looking like something shown on the menu images which was a first for any mcdonald's experience I've had in the area, not just some squished mush with no effort. If you need good fast food this is the spot to go.

This McDonald's is one of the best. I often go to the one on the Thruway in Guilderland and 90% of time get the wrong order. They refuse to give you back your money and argue with you. Pleasant Valley is the best. Most customer friendly!!

This is such a nice McDonald's. The staff are super friendly and on top of things. They genuinely seem to enjoy working there and with their coworkers. Someone took the time to help my kids today get exactly the Happy Meal toy they wanted. Superb service. 💜

The McDonald's in pleasant valley New York is hands down my favorite in the area. I have been going there for years, and I am always impressed by how friendly staff are. Always new faces, but they are still some of the nicest around. The food is exactly what you expect from McDonald's, prepared well.

I just wanted to reach out as I had an amazing interaction with one of your employees as I used the drive through to order 2 large diet cokes. There was an older gentleman working the first window taking payment, unfortunately I didnt catch his name though. my mother also frequently drive-through and has mentioned this man before and has expressed how friendly and welcoming he is. In the brief encounter I had with him he was so pleasant to speak with but also very professional and seem like a very hard worker. It was truly a wonderful experience and Im glad I cross paths with him. It honestly made my day. Im not sure who will get this message, but I believe that man really deserves some recognition for the kindness. He exhibits to others in the short time he has with them. Like I said, I wish I knew his name but I just wanted to reach out and extend my gratitude for his wonderful customer service. He is truly an asset to your team!

I love this McDonald’s architecture. It’s surrounded by glass walls. People who worked there were very friendly. Hot chocolate was made very well. They brought food to my table like a restaurant experience.

This McDonald's has gotten a lot better than they used to be. I think they have better management now. Good managers make for good staff.

I am not a fan of fast food, but this McDonalds operates as good as can be expected. The staff is courteous and professional. The restaurant is clean, there is adequate parking.

Ordered a specific sauce to go with our order, but received an entirely different sauce, drove off to later find out.. GET IT RIGHT, man!!

The staff kept the line at the drive thru window moving. Order was correct and hot and the people on the staff I interacted with where friendly and courteous.

Not the place of magic it once was, long gone are the ashtrays and play places, those crawl tubes and ball pits are sadly no more, now with the corporate sterility that many chains have adopted in the pursuit of universal acceptance, and food quality that spawned the series 'oversize me' that documents the consequences of too much reliance upon these foods. However, still a bit of nostalgia left, enough to still go and grab a bite occasionally.

Was cold out, stopped for a quick pick me up of coffee. Used the bathroom too, very clean as is store too.

The food was o.k., the fries were hot but the fish was as though it had been sitting out. My boyfriend's sandwich was really bad,the cheese wasn't even melted! I wanted an icecream cone and was told the machine wasn't working.

I don't really like McDonald's but the service here was very good and the 3.99 double burger special was tasty. Fries were nice and hot.

The food was fresh. Even if a whole soccer team was there, food came out quickly. It's small, but it works.

I miss actual customer service it's a kiosk and not a lot of interaction, and you'll have to remember to hold the mustard. It great for techies, but not old timers

Besides the amount of time it takes to get your ridiculously overpriced food all good but place a mobile order or you're going back in to get your order fixed.

Good food but the wait in the drive thru is normally slow and backed up and their ice cream machine works unlike some other mcdonalds I've been to in the surrounding area

Every once in a while I like to get a McDonald's shake and every time I've gone to this particular McDonald's for a shake their machine is broken or 'being cleaned'. Odd that they'd choose to clean the machine at the height of lunch hour. Other than that, which I have to knock 2 stars off for, it's very clean. Do yourself a favor and use the drive thru since it's 10 times faster than ordering inside.

Used the mobile app and I don't see the convenience when people on line after I parked at the pick up spot whizzed by me while I waited. I waited 10 minutes...I will get on line next time! Food was great though, I am a Mickey D addict!

Today my client wanted McDonald's, I have not been to this restaurant in many years, I asked do you have any special going on now , the young lady told us want it was , she was talking so fast, as if she didn't want to say what was on the menu, I asked my client did you get any of what she said he said no I didn't, i said to her some people dont come to McDonald's that offeren .you never know who you are talking too.my client is special needs, I didn't think that was right to do too anyone.

Inside is very clean, staff are kind, but last time I went they prioritized the drive through customers over eat-in ones.

I was told that there are no more grilled items on the menu anymore. I know it may not be the most popular choice, but having at least one possible healthy option would have been nice. The monotone no we have nothing available,didn't help either.

Nice McDonald's, very nice staff, they offer the full menu with some breakfast items available all day, they have a drive through window, their bathrooms are clean. This location stays open later than most places in this sleepy little town outside of Poughkeepsie. The only downside I can see is that this location does not have a children's play area, which is always a nice addition to the overall McDonald's experience. Overall a nice, clean and friendly place. The food is exactly like any other McDonald's.

It's clean and the staff is friendly. The parking lot is cramped, especially for larger vehicles. Usually pretty busy especially between breakfast and lunch hours. What can I say? It's McDonald's.......food is ok at it's best. Good for a quick bite if you've skipped lunch and are super hangry.

It's McDonald's... What more can you say? Nice clean location. The staff was nice and friendly. It wasn't busy when I was there. Only down side I would say is no indoor playground for the kids. Good parking and they also have an efficient drive thru.

We paid 34 dollars for a meal , both me and my partner were like did we just spend 34 dollars a freaking McDonald's. Yes we did, but it was good. Every 9 to 10months or longer we will drive through.

Not very many happy faces and the customer service seems ok. Could definitely be better with workers wanting to take orders and have smiles. Added 4/22/23 I ordered online through app. The food was supposed to be delivered to my table. It was not. When I went to go check on the order it was just sitting int he pick up line with no receipt and no drink or even cup. I asked why it wasn't delivered or even have a cup and all I got was "oh sorry" from the young lady. My burger looked to have just been thrown into the bag so it was bent.

The reason for the star rating Never go to this place to eat on weekends.It's always jam packed with kids that are very noisy, they have no mannerism. I do not want to place an order on a computer inside the lobby to place an actual order.It's not my cup of tea if you know what I mean. However , you can't place an order at the register, i believe fast food industry is focusing on the drive through more now than they are.The dining room that's given. And when you do get your food, they make mistakes.You have to check your food before you leave. And if you want a decent meal , do not order from the value menu the burgers, the chicken are gonna be a lot smaller.That's why it's called the value menu lesson learned so if you are very hungry and you want to fill your tummy , do Not order from the value menu period . Because you're trying to save a few dollars unless you want to get it quick, bite to eat.Just until you get home . The menu is not like it used to be. That's my personal opinion.

Double check your coffee is actually full before you leave. They will sometimes serve you coffees that are only 3/4th full. given that it's intermittent I think it's down to certain individuals vs the facility as a whole, but I still have to dock stars because I have to double check my beverage to make sure I got the whole beverage.

They never seem to have ice for the soda. Happens all the time, no one wants warm soda. Invest in an ice maker, or as a manager go to the store and buy bags of ice. You advertise your selling bags of ice, but can’t provide any for your soda, come on guys poorly managed. Happens way too many times, not stopping here again.

Services like Uber eats and doordash are slowing down places like McDonald's and Burger king. The staff should put more effort into serving the people in front of them and then load up the bags for the apps.

Odered a buffalo chicken sandwich. They gave me a hamber buffalo instead. So i called manger told me i could get right one next vist. Go back two weeks later order my free chicken buffalo plus one. Neither one had buffalo sauce. Wont be going back there.

Unreliable hours. This is the second time I have arrived 30min -1 hour before closing and they are closing down or closed. You lose customers when you are not reliably open. It is not a mom and pop shop that can do this due to limited employees.

Tried to order a quick egg Mcmuffin sandwich at the drive thru, they couldn't even get a one sandwich order correct, 1 manager, 3 staff standing at the window, clueless. Then the order was $6.90, that was that. Worst area McDonald's.

This place is terrible. You always have to wait forever for anything to be ready. Try to avoid this place if you can.

We recently went to the McDonald's on 9W, Lake Katrine for our $1 large coffee that is very good. They told us they raised the price to $1.39. We thought that it was a Corp. decision for all McDonald's, but no. All surrounding McDonald's are still at $1. Looks like we need to find our next favorite McDonalds.

Staff is friendly but the fries taste really weird Compared to other McDonald's . Lagrange or pk fries taste way better. I won't go to this McDonald's bc of the weird taste . It must be the oil they use or something .

The line was long, the food wasn't worth it. I ordered a double cheeseburger, fries and a soda. The cheeseburger was horrible and the soda was watery. The fries on the other hand was PERFECT. The fries saved the day and gave them an extra star. Otherwise I would have only gave them a star. Never going back.

Went inside to no workers available, order my coffee off kiosk (unfortunately) and then wait for 15mins for an iced coffee. They ignored the indoor customers for the drive-through. Between price & customer service& quality I'd go else where.

What can I saw, it's McDonald's. My daughter is the reason for me to visit this restaurant. For when we are on the road and she is hungry I woukd stop an occasion to get her a bite to eat. She refuses to eat from other places. I tell her it BREAKS my heart to see how she likes McDonald's nuggets (fake chicken) and french fries (that never grows mold). We tolerate this McDonald's because it's close to home. Stanley is the only reason worth going. Today we went and spent over 65.00 on food. I said no when asked if I wanted sauce but changed my mind and asked for creamy chili sauce and the manager had the nerve to cock his head at me and tell me I need to pay for it. Right after a man came in and asked for a cup of ice and he walked away for free. Such a turn off. We look away from the missing, wrong, and cold food but that guy was rude.

I stopped at the Pleasant Valley McDonald’s recently, and unfortunately it was one of the most frustrating fast-food experiences I’ve had in a long time. I understand that quick service restaurants can get busy, especially during peak hours, but the wait time here was on a whole different level. From the moment I pulled into the drive-thru, the line was barely moving. What should have been a quick stop turned into a long stretch of sitting and waiting with no real progress. Even after placing my order, it took an excessive amount of time just to get up to the pickup window. There didn’t seem to be any sense of urgency or coordination keeping things flowing. Inside didn’t appear much better. Customers were waiting around, and the overall pace felt slow and disorganized. When you go to a McDonald’s, you expect efficiency — it’s part of the brand. This location just didn’t live up to that expectation at all. I’m not one to complain often, but when a simple fast-food run takes far longer than a sit-down meal, it becomes a problem. Hoping they work on improving speed and operations because the wait time right now is just crazy.

They just killed the electricity to the outlets used by customers to charge their phones. One star. The income you make from selling overpriced food easily pays for the tiny bit of electricity used in charging iPhones for 20 minutes.

Terrible service, even tho I just ordered a meal online. I understand line looked real busy so besides waiting 15 mins they forgot my drink. I told him before he walked in 10 mins later an after serving another car outside no drink. I just left 😡

I’ve been to this Mc Donald’s once and don’t consider going here again. My fish-filet was definitely from a few days ago, and they just decided to slap it on two stale buns, add tarter sauce, and warm it. I got some fries here, and let me just say they were one of the worst fries from here I’ve ever had. They were stale and hollow. They added a ton of salt to hide the fact that it was nasty. Overall, I ate it all because it wasn’t that treacherous, but I’m extremely disappointed.

Burgers are about as thick as the cheese, cold cuts are thicker than their "burgers". Half the stuff is always old and/or cold! A moment of not wanting to make dinner after a long day reminded me of why I don't go to McDonald's. Not to mention the price, should have gone to a dinner better food and prices!

You charge way too much for a double cheese. I went to a Wendy's and they charge the same amount for a double cheese but you get way more meat and tomatoes with them - in short what they give the customer is worth the bigger price. Yours, on the other hand, is not .

Closing time at 1AM apparently means sometime before 12:45 AM. I didn't expect much so close to closing time but I thought they might have a few cheeseburgers they could throw in a bag and sell to me. They had already shut down the drive through and had a "closed" recording on the speaker.

Mc Donald's itself as a conglomerate is disgusting and evil. Your money is best spent pretty much anywhere else. This is not a comment or rating on the specific location nor the owner or it's employees. DO NOT EAT MCDONALD'S!!

This place never gets your order right, even when you have to tell them at the window what you ordered.. somehow they charged me for two large fries I didn't order and gave me two large diet sodas after they specifically asked what kind I ordered. Guess it's to be expected that idiots are employed at most fast food chains. Might as well avoid the drive thru all together since they're not good at taking orders or reading.. you deserve less than minimum wage if you can't get anything right.

Over the past few months this place has gone downhill fast. They cannot get a simple order correct. 3 out of the past 3 times I have been here my order has been incorrect. On top of that, when you ask for multiple BBQ sauces they add it to your receipt, but apparently their employee's cannot read. I have reduced my 4 star to a 1 star. You have lost my business at this location. 3 strikes and you're out.

At this point I really don't even know what to say. EVERY TIME I order nuggets I get no sauce. I don't know if it's because everyone that works there is high or do they just don't care. Who in hell would eat nuggets with out sauce. But really people get your stuff together. Maybe management needs to have some simple training. This is just ridiculous any more.

Well we have never been much for Mc Donald's and they always continue to show me why. Pay 25 bucks for 2 meals and a happy meal for my son. 10 dollar's for 10 piece nugget, fries and a drink. They messed up my order completely, I asked for a mc’chicken with pickles and they gave me mc’chicken with tomato and bacon. The fries were also very old and they didn’t even fill up my large smoothie all the way. It was definitely the worst service and experience. I barely eat McDonalds but this definitely makes me not want to eat there at all. It was definitely a waste of $11, I went to bed hungry.

I ordered a cheese burger with no pickles because someone I ordered it for is highly allergic... thankfully the person just knew to check their sandwich because that could've been their last burger... I wish I could upload a picture because clearly they had no pickle on the ticket but pickles were still on the sandwich smh... please be careful next time when someone asks for their order a specific way... Now the person can't ear their food because of the pickles so yeah...

They don’t mix the sweet tea correctly, it’s different every time and inconsistent. They forget the syrup with the pancakes almost every time as well. I guess raising the minimum wage doesn’t increase employee effort. Imagine paying $7 for a breakfast and get home realizing they forgot the syrup. Is it worth driving back? Maybe for some. I should be checking the order myself before I pull away, I get it. But you don’t expect them to forget literally 5 times in a row. I’ve also gotten wilted lettuce on the mcchickens before. Save your health and money and go to subway up the road. Family owned. A foot-long sub cost less than a big Mac meal, And they never screw the order up ever…. Don’t bother with a fast food chain that puts no effort into quality control.

There must be somebody new running this McDonald's. The drive-thru took forever. And then My coffee wasn't ready. Usually that's the first thing you do before the food. So I had to wait in a spot. Then I got my coffee and I left. I had to go back, They forgot to put my caramel in. It was just coffee and milk.

Every order we watched from inside was either wrong or missing items. My quarter pounder was missing ketchup while another in my party commented the nuggets were "rubbery and had air pockets." Every drive through order was made to pull up and have food brought out so management obviously plays that game with metrics. The only good thing that has come from this visit is that when I make trips to NY state I will now only patronize small, local dining establishments and not franchises or chains, and definitely not this McDonald's.

Today, 12/6 @ 3:30pm had the worst bunch of workers inside. Only the girl with the blue eyes was competent, courteous, and of sound mind. The rest of the staff?? They were DEFINITELY high or intentionally trying to run the place to the ground. Waited for fries 20min while the drive through kept going. My order was brought out one item at a time in that duration. Pay better to source better employees or pay the employees who are veterans more.

Girls at drive thru taking orders were talking to one another rather than taking the order. After asking for manager, the order was still wrong when I got home. And when I asked for a topping on my burger it wasn't freshly made, instead re opened and sauce put on. This location has gotten worse and worse over the years since living in pleasant valley.

This McDonald's is ripping us off. How cheap can you be to be marking medium size drinks as large? At all the other McDonald's that we visit in our area, a large drink is actually LARGE. We have been to this McDonald's several times and each time you get a large drink you get a MEDIUM sized drink marked as a large. I'm going to see if I can contact McDonald's Corp about this. This is practically theft.

I ordered a double plain cheeseburger on the mobile app and they sent it without cheese. I sent it back and they sent me the same sandwich. I had to get out of my car to tell the manager about the mistake they made. The man on duty told me that was what I ordered. I had to explain to the little children what my order was. So the other female manager finally gave me the sandwich with only one because it seems that the people in the kitchen didn't take the trouble to add 2 cheese that the double cheeseburger has because they were paying attention to the gossip, they are inept because it is not the first time that this has happened. Furthermore, they sent me to park for 10 minutes for "fresh" nuggets that I was cooking and I received them that were cold. They have to be more responsible in food safety with the customers
