Went here with some friends, and had a lovely time. The atmosphere and booths were very comfortable and had a good level of privacy. The staff were very welcoming, and the food was good quality. We even got a complimentary appetizer! Definitely will come again. One of the best atmospheres I've been in for local restaurants.

Very good restaurant. We went here on Thanksgiving Eve, there were super busy and no waitresses. The owners served us well and gave us compliment dishes, and a free ice cream to my son and even suggested us do not pay tips.

Once entered, we were immediately greeted with a wonderful smile, and they were happily to assist us. After being escorted to our table, which was delightfully fun to experience; because it had a Japanese sliding door style that added to the pleasant atmosphere of the interior. The service we received was outstanding. Everyone who came to our table to assist was pleasant and helpful! Now the food: Octopus Salad - 5 ☆ The cold salad had a lot of flavors, refreshing from the cucumbers, and the Octopus was just right not to chewy. Grill Squid - 4.5 ☆ It was deliciously good, but I believe the spices that were used may have been a bit powerful. But overall, it was still delightful with lemon and the spicy mayo. House salad/Miso soup - 5 ☆ When going to a sushi place, you can tell by their salads and miso soups. Overall, both were amazing and rewarding, in my opinion. Especially the house salad. The dressing they used for their salad was addictively delicious and flavorful. Kids meal bento - 5 ☆ The size of the portions was surprisingly large. He was happy and was full. He had leftovers for the next following day! The chicken teriyaki were cooked perfectly and weren't overbearing saucy. Bubble Roll (no fish eggs)- 5 ☆ Yes, Yes and YES! I really enjoyed this roll. I would highly recommend this roll. It was very light but yet had an amazing texture and taste. This was my favorite. 49er (no fish eggs) - 5 ☆ This roll was delicious as well. The tuna inside was different from the other 49er rolls we've had before. So, the red tuna made it a bit more smokey taste to it. Which resulted in a great blend with the salmon on top. I would recommend it if you enjoy tuna with salmon. We also received a pleasant surprise of a complimentary corn tempura!! The whole group really enjoyed this side dish. It was new and different for all of us. Perfectly fried and battered corn. Soooo good. Overall, the whole experience was unbelievably fun and enjoyable. The atmosphere and the service were A++++, and the food was fresh and packed with flavor. I will definitely be back and will recommend this place to others. ::: Oh, sorry, side note - Warning: they do add a hot sauce fee of a 1$ 😅 but for us, it was worth it. We enjoy our Sriracha too much :::

This is our favorite sushi place in town! Incredibly fresh, decent prices (compared to other nearby locations), and great service. We always get takeout, so can’t say how great the table service is, but they’re always very kind bringing us our food. Once when we had to wait a bit longer than usual to pick up our food, they even brought out edamame for us to eat while we waited! The special rolls and bento box are our favorites! During lunch they have 2 different lunch specials that are great deals.

So, after watching a flag football in the cold last night, my niece was playing in, we were hungry and thinking about having sushi and Agadashi Tofu and found this amazing place, Meiko Sushi! We were greeted nicely by the server there and ordered Bento Boxes 🍱 and sushi! We were served the warm tea and miso soup in the beginning, then dinner. The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious 😋 I can’t say enough the server last night was really gracious to us and really impressed by this! I think we were only people there in the restaurant and we felt very special by the food and the server very well! Definitely come to this restaurant!! You will not be disappointed!! Great food and excellent service!! Thank you 🙏🏽 😊❤️❤️

went on a Sunday evening for dinner. got the dinner bento box— tuna sashimi, sake sashimi, dashi tofu. soooo good with the salad and side of rice. also very happy I ordered the hot tea— very cozy and comforting. they were kind to give me miso soup and edamame on the house, which was also very good and generous. service was prompt and servers were friendly. all that for $30ish! reasonable prices, high quality food.

First I must say I've had sushi Japanese Style all my life in America and Japan. Japanese sushi rice is specially prepared with sweet rice wine and some places with a touch of Shoyu. The rice is best served at room temperature. If it's cold it mutes the flavors of the other ingredients. I prefer the Japanese preparation, hence only four stars. However, the ingredients are fresh and well prepared and beautifully served. The sushi is creative and delicious. And the rice is at the perfect temperature. And, I've enjoyed many of the other items on their menu and will return.

Had the Chirashi Special (inc. salad, but no soup). The quality of the sashimi was excellent. However, the restaurant is severely short staffed. There was a line out the door on a Thursday at lunchtime, but only one waitress handling phone orders, take outs, and eat-ins (outdoor on the sidewalk). I had ordered pick up through DD, but still had to wait for almost 10 minutes while my completed order sat on the back counter; the waitress was busy on the phone taking an order. 2/19/21 Update: Friday lunch today. There was zero wait time with two waitresses. Two item bento (sashimi x 3, nigiri x 2) isn’t quite enough - I had to make some miso soup at home to compensate. Next time, I’ll go for the 3 item bento or the bento special. 3/3/21 Update: They removed the ringer at the front counter, so I had to wave down the waitress. Luckily, I was in and out in 2 minutes. Assorted sashimi lunch 12p for $18.95 is a good value/upgrade from large Poke Bowl for $15 elsewhere. The slices were smaller and one grade down from the chirashi special, but still excellent and well worth it. This may become my standard go-to order at Meiko. 3/5/21 Update: Chirashi Regular was excellent! A good value at $22 for the quality. The Chirashi Special had better slices for $25, but the Regular was fine, nonetheless. Both Chirashi were a step up from the regular sashimi- plus you get vinegar rice and the tamago. I was in and out in 30 seconds on this Friday (two waitresses). I think the high turnover at Meiko ensures that you get fresh sashimi. 7/16/21 Update: I have ordered the regular Chirashi Sushi two more times. The first time, I noticed a drop in quality in the sashimi/cuts and much heavier tasting rice. Not sure if the drop in quality was a fluke, I waited a couple weeks and then ordered again. Unfortunately, the same consistent drop in quality. Tastes like they changed chefs. Service is still fast and friendly. Dropping one star to 4.

This is a great place for a night out. The sushi was okay and wished there was a little more flavor to their Rolls. Customer service was very good and overall I would go here again if I happen to be in the area.

Give this place love because they’re one of the few who didn’t jack up their prices to unreasonable levels. But here’s some feedback that I hope can be helpful to the restaurant. Ordered lion king roll, tempura udon, and Fred & Rico roll. Lion king was fine - tasted like the standard, no complaints Tempura udon - taste was okay but didn’t appreciate that the to-go package had the noodles sitting in the soup. Consequently, noodles were a little soggy. If they separated the noodles from the broth it would have been just fine. Fred & Rico - needs a lot of help. Spicy tuna didn’t taste fresh and the color was off. Think they should incorporate the spicy crab on the inside instead of leaving it loose on the top which affected the presentation and eating experience. Crab kept falling off the sushi roll. And finally, the eel had way too many bones in it. It’s typical for unagi to have some tiny bones but there were just too many in there this time.

Meiko is usually a good sushi spot. I have tried ordering the Snow roll a few times and it doesnt come as advertised. Online it says it has Albacore on the outside but every time I order they dont make it with Albacore on the outside. Ive even sent it back and they still returned without Albacore on the outside. I tried again and they brought it back again with more toppings but no Albacore. They really need to change the description of the snow roll, it is false advertising. Their other rolls are great, which is why it is very disappointing that I cant get this roll make as advertised. Also the spider roll had imitation crab, not soft shell crab. I dont think we will be returning...

At first, everything looked really nice and delicious, but upon eating, it was clear that the food was not great. The sashimi was not fresh and the night after eating at the restaurant for both lunch and dinner we had really upset stomachs with lots of vomiting and diarrhea. The waitresses were kind, but the food took forever to arrive, and even just the water took like 15 minutes.

I have gotten delivery from this restaurant more than once and loved it, but recently the avocado in my California roll I ordered was completely brown and rotten. I was super disappointed. Please make sure the food you are serving is better quality. I will not be ordering from here again.
