Opinions de TP Tea Pleasanton
This was my first time visiting, and I ordered their signature TGY tea with boba. I really love the boba pearls; they are perfectly cooked. The tea is quite fragrant, but I found that it had a bit too much milk, which overpowered the flavor of the tea. I went in at 3:30 PM on a Tuesday, and there was no line. The service was quick. I will definitely come back to try other drinks.
I like this place a lot. First it is not too crowded, even though the parking lot is small. I have been to the one in San Mateo and Berkeley and those two places were packed. Second, you can either choose to order using the machine or talk to the staff. It is very convenient. Third, it takes only one minute for me to get my drink.
Great service and high quality tea. Some of the best boba in the area! I had the Tie Guan Yin milk tea with pearls. Will definitely return! EDIT: Still a 5 star boba spot, but be prepared to wait when it’s busy! Obviously some of the drinks are better than others, but overall an amazing selection. They are all friendly and hard working, so kudos to the staff!
One of, if not the best boba place, in the Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore area. I'd like to believe I know what I'm talking about as a Taiwanese person who has tried milktea and boba all around the bay area and in Taiwan. My favorite drink here is the mango boba milktea. The texture of the boba is always a perfect QQ, the tea flavor is not overpowered by the mango, and the drink doesn't lose its creaminess despite being a slushy. Have never been disappointed here!
5x10 stars for service!!!! Not only are the drinks the BEST, the Team at the Pleasanton location are the sweetest. We regularly go tot ye Berkeley location and accidentally placed the drink order to Berkeley instead of this one. They helped out and was so kind. The seasonal strawberry drink is amazing too!
Best tea shop in Tri-valley area! So happy they are finally open after almost 1 year of preparation! No need to go to Cupertino. And best part, no lines! You can order on the machine super fast! Tie Guan Yin latte with small pearls and passion fruit tea are my favorites.
I've been to the county of Taiwan a few times. Of course when you're in Taiwan you have to visit the place where boba was invented. Obviously nothing beats bubble tea in the country where it was created but TP Tea is one of the best bubble tea places in Nor Cal (and I've been to many). I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Delicious fresh teas with superb toppings. Small place, modern clean decor. Fast service.

My new go-to boba place in Pleasanton when I am too lazy to drive to Boba Bliss. I am so glad they opened a location in Pleasanton. My go-to drink has been their Tie Guan Yin Milk tea with 50% sweet. The tea flavor really shines through and that's the main component for me in any boba drink. You can pre-order through their Snackpass website or in-person on their tablet.
I think this is one of the most underrated boba places! All the drinks here are amazing, and the service is quick. You order on an tablet, and your drink is served within minutes. There’s usually not too many people there, and it’s quite empty. It’s also the first boba place I’ve seen that serves 120% sugar, not that I’d get it, but it’s an option. They have a variety of milk teas, fruit teas, and smoothies. I personally recommend the strawberry milk tea and the thai milk tea
My family and I ventured to TP Tea last weekend, and despite the long line and bustling atmosphere, the experience was nothing short of delightful. This popular tea haven certainly lives up to its reputation. The wait may have been a tad long, but the thriving crowd is a testament to TP Tea's popularity—and for good reason. The extensive menu offered an array of tantalizing options, making the decision-making process both exciting and challenging. We opted for the TGY Family Milk Tea, Thai Tea Brulee Tornado, Taiwan Classic Milk Tea, and Black Tea with Cheese Cream Foam. One of the highlights was the customization options. From sugar levels to ice preferences and an array of toppings, TP Tea ensures that each drink caters to individual tastes. This attention to detail sets them apart and adds a personal touch to the entire experience. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, considering the quality and variety of the beverages. TP Tea strikes an excellent balance, making it accessible to a diverse range of customers without compromising on flavor or craftsmanship. Navigating the parking situation was a minor challenge, but we were relieved that we didn't have to circle around endlessly. The slight inconvenience was overshadowed by the overall positive experience awaiting us inside. The TGY Family Milk Tea was a delightful blend of flavors, and the Thai Tea Brulee Tornado was a true showstopper with its unique presentation. The Taiwan Classic Milk Tea and Black Tea with Cheese Cream Foam were equally impressive, showcasing the mastery of tea craftsmanship at TP Tea. In the midst of the busy surroundings, the staff remained composed and efficient, ensuring that every customer received their orders promptly. The vibrant energy and enthusiasm of the team added to the overall ambiance, making our visit all the more enjoyable. TP Tea is undeniably a haven for tea enthusiasts, offering a diverse menu, customizable options, reasonable prices, and a lively atmosphere. Despite the initial wait and parking challenges, the overall experience was worth every minute. Whether you're a seasoned tea connoisseur or just looking for a delightful beverage, TP Tea is a must-visit destination that combines popularity with quality, making it a standout in the world of tea establishments.
This location tends to be very fast and there is also a lot of convenient parking & disabled parking right in front! I'd recommend getting less sweet for the fruit teas, and less / 50% sweet for the milk teas and those tend to not be as sweet. The quality noodles are amazing, I love the coffee jelly and tea jelly and all the variety. They have real milk options as well!
From all the boba franchises (and wow, there are so many), the TP Tea brand is our family favorite. The selections are plentiful and the quality/taste in drinks are good (natural). Besides the quality, I'm giving it high stars for a few reasons. I like the operation's efficiency. You can place your order online, so by the time you drive there, your drinks are ready. The online system tells you the order queue, so you have an idea on wait time. If you do walk-in, there's the kiosks, so the staff can concentrate making the drinks. If you have questions, the staff are there to help as well. (Some customers may prefer the traditional placing one's order by a staff, but I like the order, pickup, and go concept better.) As for this particular place, it's always busy, even though there are 2 other boba/tea places plus at least 3 more coffee places (i.e., Starbucks) in less than a mile radius. The seating is limited, the place is clean and small. Still our go to place for boba/ tea drinks bc of the quality (and we don't even order the traditional boba drinks).
Love this little spot so close to our house. Being a Taiwanese, we are really picky about our boba drinks and we are just super excited that my favorite chain opened a spot so close to us. Same quality with shorter wait than other locations! It’s a must-get when friends are visiting us!
One of my FAVORITE boba places in this area. Authentic Taiwanese style boba. Chewy and very consistent in their boba texture. Have brought many friends here. Recommend the mango cheese foam smoothie (sub agar for boba instead) it’s not too creamy cheesy, more like a sea salt cream. Perfectly refreshing, creamy, and I do half sugar (mangoes have been in season). The taro matcha and mango matcha are good too. Mango drinks could probably do with less sugar because the fruit is sweet. Really deep authentic uji matcha. Loved the oolong milk tea, definitely has a lot of caffeine. The Thai tea creme brûlée was too creamy and sweet for me. Tried a fruit tea too, which was nice it had big real fruit pieces floating in it.

Pretty good tea, service was a bit slow but it was close to closing time. Will have to come back to try other drinks.

Overall they make good boba tea. However, I often order hot drinks and have to wait 15-25 mins. for their steamer to warm up. They need to fire up that bad boy when the shop opens!
Their tea tastes great. TGY = 铁观音 = 鐵觀音 It is a kind of tea between black tea and green tea. Ordering is very easy. You didn't need to talk with anyone. Just use the kiosk. They provide some seats outside. I felt very relaxed when I visited this place.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of my creama jasmine green tea drink. The orange splash was better! Was confused at the end cause the worker didn’t call out our number although she was calling everyone else’s and we were waiting for a bit wondering.

We brought this drink , after couple of sip suck up this piece of unknown substance from the drink. We called the shop and try to get their attention to be careful when making drinks. With image of the piece of unknown, immediately their response is they don’t have anything that’s in the blue color. That male person even empathize three times they don’t have anything that’s blue , I asked him if WE intentionally put that thing in there. We are not asking for a refund or exchange but of good nature. As well we are not a first time customer, we been ordering from this location for months with numerous orders at least once a week on Wednesdays more than 4-5 drinks and occasional 1-2 drinks other days of the week. His response sound like we make it up , not even an apologetic word. Definitely we are very disappointed how you treated a customer let alone we are frequent customer. A business success is base on return customers and attentive service. Luckily we didn’t swallow it and the consequences after. We want to write this review to let the rest of the patrons be aware when you start drinking. As well the owners to train your staff. Photo attached. To. Be followed
