While I wasn't absolutely Blown Away by everything I liked everything there was no bad flavors or bad part of the experience. The staff was amazing their menu advertising for the best quality at the lowest prices is accurate I think it is very good quality for the prices and the flavor is very good. The Wasabi is good the rice was cooked well the serving sizes were very generous. We would come back

Fat Fish is consistently exactly what I need it to be - great food food at a great value. The owners are friendly, and do their best to make me feel welcome every time. With such a huge menu, I’m amazed at the consistency, but they nail it every time.

Inexpensive drafts of Sapporo are icing on the cake. Favorite for "order at the counter" dining. Highly recommended. Photo taken after I started mixing my wasabi. Check the hours before heading out. Closed between lunch and dinner.

I can’t resist the hot chicken, tofu steak, and salmon tempura roll! Everything on the menu is solid and you won’t be disappointed.

The vegetetarian sushi here is amazing! They have multiple options for vegetarian sushi and not just one or two items. I wish they started using normal silverware again because they now use plastic ones maybe because of covid.

Sushi was yummy and rolls were a decent size. Prices are also decent. My only complaint was the wait time. Took over an hour to get our food. So go when you’re not starving and order something ahead.

Very filling. The rolls we had were so very filling. We ordered twice what we could eat, but ordered the usual number we normally do from other sushi places. So be warned. It was tasty, quick, and friendly. Would go again.

Didn’t serve any water with the meal. But the sushi has many different options and flavors.

Price is reasonable. Food is delicious. Many Vegetables rolls.

Their food is of good quality and the environment is dim and intimate. Pretty lively place for dinner. The meals are cheap but the portions are big! The only complaints I have are that parking is terrible so if you come with a group- take 1 car. Also, if you order by phone, ask if they have all of the ingredients in your order because I have ordered a California roll but they didn't mention that they were out of avocado (which is like half of what's in the roll). Other than than that it's a great place for lunch and dinner! (Closed on Mondays though!). UPDATE: The service is horrid. I asked the chef today for an update on my order (as I was on my lunch break and it had already been 20 minutes for only a California roll). He turned to the coworker next to him and shrugged his shoulders and continued to do what he was doing, saying nothing to me. The lady at the register said she would tell me when my order was ready but failed to do so until I stood up and walked over- my order had been sitting there for a while already. She never smiled or really said anything at all to me. The customer service is terrible but the prices are good.

The food is delicious. But they have these young rude kids working the register. No customer service or hospitality skills. It ruins the vibe completely. If you’re looking for a better dine in experience go to the one in hayward. The staff there is very knowledgeable and friendly. The young kid at this location had long hair that was not put up and he proceeded to serve us a dish with a long hair in it that resembled his. Servers should be the last set of eyes on a dish before it goes out and they should catch that before it reaches us. Again goes to show then FOH staff does not care to do their job well.

I ordered deluxe bento box specifically so I can get tempura and two dishes. The tempura only had only one piece of shrimp when it should come with two. And the tempura was really soggy and bland for some reason. Usually this place is good but I’m gonna explore other places for now.

The service was terrible. The soda machine and the soda cooler were both down, the cashier/server was rude. He spilled hot soup on my nephews hand, didn't apologize or ask if he was ok. One of the rolls were slimy and had a weird film on it so when asking to have it fixed the server says I can't replace it just because you don't like it, I didn't tell you to order it. The only good thing was the Tempura veg roll, but that fell apart as soon as it was touched.

There was another time that we went to pick up a party platter for my sister’s 18th birthday with all sorted sushi. Good times though. I decided to come here once again to reminisce. It’s very quiet around here on a Sunday, but I heard that it usually gets packed during lunch time because of people from work (probably ones who work near Stanford Health Care). About the restaurant, it seems ok here but everything here seems too mediocre in atmosphere and food. The food looks too decent and something that you would you go for lunch, not dinner. It’s good but the quality is average. The portion size is quite small. I wouldn’t say that the food is bad, but it’s just average. At the same time, it’s quite affordable to get a bento box here compared to gourmet sushi’s. This place seems to be more of a fast food place rather than a sit-down restaurant based on the atmosphere and food. Not a bad place to go, but would only come here during lunch.

A little disappointed!!!!! They should have a big sign said that there is PEANUT in the salad. My daughter has peanut allergy, she ordered Grilled salmon teriyaki and it comes with salad. After just one bite, her tongue and throat are swollen. The owner came to talk to us and said only salad that has peanut. Lucky us!! Also my son ordered Lion king roll. They actually forgot about this order, we ended up been waiting for his dish almost half an hour. Foods is ok. Rolls are fresh. I also like that you order and pay before eating.

Most of their sushi’s had imitation crab which I don’t call them sushi. It was more looked like the fast food sushi. The restaurant wasn’t look good the food quality was so ok. But it was so cheap.

The building is broken down, servers are nice but a little slow, the sushi we got was huge, it was a lot so we were excited, but the taste was quite average and the fish felt pretty stale. The food was brought out quite fast though. The ambience was terrible, kids were running up and down the aisles and the music playing was absolutely horrible. If you’re looking for dine in, this is not the place to go, the food was acceptable though.

Extremely dirty to the point my feet got stuck to the floor while walking. My miso soup's spoon as well as all of the restaurant and restrooms were disgusting. food was less than average and price is really high for the quality. We left most of the food and we came of of the restaurant we found two Guys fighting each other on the floor. I recommend you not to come here unless you are comfortable and enjoy all of the above. Do not eat here! No soap in the bathroom and seen a kitchen employee come out of the bathroom before I took my 6 year old son in there. Told the girl at the register and she said oh well I can give some sanitizer from up here. I was like how are people washing their hands then???? She literally just laughed. I’ve been in the food industry business for 26 years. This is exactly how foodborne illness happens. Let alone at a sushi spot.!

This is place has the worst sushi and Bento boxes. Cold chicken teriyaki that is chewy and reheated in the microwave taste. Sushi smells fishy and they can't get a order right for the life of them.

Sushi tastes fishy. I got two rolls and both are unpleasant to eat. I feel bad throwing it out but I’m debating it bc I know I can’t eat this without vomiting.
