Sono tornato in questo ristorante dopo quasi vent'anni e con piacere ho trovato conferma ai miei ricordi di gioventù. Qualità eccellente, porzioni abbondanti e prezzo assolutamente contenuto. Servizio molto gentile e disponibile. Bellissima la vista panoramica sulla pianura padana. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci.
We had lunch both at Easter and Christmas this year and will definitely be back. The value for money is excellent. The table service is efficient and the staff are friendly. Compliments to the chef and all the staff.
They offer a set menu with four appetizers, one first course, one second course, one dessert, 1/4 cup of wine, and 1/2 cup of water. The whole thing costs €16 (without the second course) or €20 (with the second course). They also offer seconds for those who want it. High-quality food at a reasonable price. Dinner starts at 8:00 PM and ends at 11:00 PM—a bit long, but worth it!
The experience was excellent. I had lunch today with a large group of pilgrims at the shrine. We had a wonderful time, thanks to the hospitality, the quality of the food, and the attention to detail in the dishes and service. I want to come back!
Excellent food, Piedmontese tradition... very tasty and well-prepared. Fast service, very friendly wait staff. A restaurant in the dining room would be top notch. I recommend booking maybe 2-3 weeks in advance.
We dined at the Santuario Restaurant at the end of the penultimate stage of the Oropa Way. The seating arrangements were very well organized after checking our reservations. Excellent value, with four appetizers, a first course, and a dessert for €15, with repeated visits for any eventual, much-appreciated second helpings. The only drawback: the somewhat slow service.
Next to the majestic Graglia Sanctuary, you can stop at the restaurant. RESERVATIONS are recommended due to the large influx of people. Inside, you can feel the ancient flavor of bygone days, with its paintings and furniture. Simple, home-style cuisine and efficient English-style service. Good portions and varied menus. Excellent for a quiet dinner with friends. Desserts are excellent; I recommend the homemade cakes. Overall, there are no complaints and you leave feeling full and happy. The price? Unbeatable.
Simply exceptional. Location gets top marks. The €15 Pellegrino menu with exceptional review. The €20 menu is even too generous. The quality and preparation of the dishes are worthy of a luxury restaurant. The menus include a quarter of wine and half a liter of water. The staff's professionalism is worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Restaurant located directly beneath the Sanctuary of Graglia; elegant and well-appointed interior. Friendly staff and fairly quick service. À la carte menu with several choices or a fixed menu (€16-€20, pilgrim's menu). Appetizers, first courses, and second courses are all delicious, homemade, and plentiful, with the option of seconds. Prices are more than fair for the quality of the dishes served and the location. Perfect restaurant for a relaxing break near the Sanctuary of Graglia, enjoying excellent Piedmontese cuisine.
We had the pleasure of trying the Santuario Restaurant on Boxing Day. It's certainly not easy to get there, but it's worth it. Unfortunately, the exterior aesthetics are underappreciated, and finding it isn't easy if you don't know where it is. Inside, the music is completely different, and you have the pleasure of enjoying a meal that's almost always typical of the Biella area (excellent) in a former ecclesiastical restaurant. The food is more than excellent. A small note: from the photos it doesn't seem like much, but in reality, the waiters stopped by several times for second helpings! The Boxing Day menu included: - Elvo Valley lard and vanilla-flavored chestnuts - Potato boats with maccagno cheese fondue - Vol au vent with creamed asparagus - Veal with tuna sauce - Risotto in cagnone - Beef agnolotti with Alpine herbs - Braised veal in Erbaluce di Caluso with baked potatoes - Dessert, wine, water, and coffee All for €25 per person So excellent value for money. Highly recommended +++
Sunday family lunch; the restaurant opens at 12:30 and usually closes around 3:30-4:00 PM (on Sundays). Lunch is served from a set menu, a smaller one, and one that also includes a main course. Good food, excellent value, plenty of time to chat, a stunning location overlooking the Elvo Valley, and very friendly staff. The only real downside is the toilet facilities, which are in terrible condition. As soon as I opened the restaurant, I found the toilet seat clearly hadn't been cleaned for a while, and it smelled like it was dirty. The public toilets in the sanctuary garden, even in the afternoon, are much better. I'm not giving a completely negative review because I don't think this aspect reflects the overall experience, but I urge the owners to consider an extraordinary clean!
Staying at the Graglia sanctuary, on our way to Oropa, we couldn't miss eating at the restaurant right next door, which so many people, including guides, had raved about. We were seated in a beautiful period room, with paintings on the walls and ceiling. The pilgrim's menu included appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a dessert, with 1/4 cup of wine and water included, all for €20 per person. The appetizers are plentiful and very good, with special mention for the typical cured meats from the Biella area, which are delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the bruschetta, which was very bland. For me, the best dish was the ravioli del plin with walnut sauce, a combination I'd never tried before but which worked brilliantly. The roast beef was also excellent and very tender. The desserts are all homemade, and I still can't decide which one I liked best. The service is fast and very friendly, and even the girl at the cashier is excellent at making customers feel at ease. On a negative note, although it's not entirely the restaurant's fault: the room we were in was really noisy, and we struggled to talk. I admit that, right after dessert, we ran outside to drink our amaros. Excellent experience at fair prices! I'd say a pass!
Very characteristic place. Good appetizers, first course, dessert (they often offer seconds). The Fassona did not convince me. Excellent prices. The only flaw is the slowness in receiving the various courses. More a kitchen problem than a service problem. You cannot wait more than half an hour for each dish, it is too much!!!!
Simple (that's why 4/5 stars )but incredible good food , absolutely recommended .
Good, plentiful food! Slow service, especially given the three large rooms. Very beautiful ambiance: an old sanctuary with frescoed rooms. The only downside is the noise, especially since there are so many people! The exterior is also beautiful, adorned with fountains fed by the spring and lush with wonderfully colorful hydrangeas. Very low prices: from the €12 set menu to €20. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.
Locale panoramico personale gentile, cibo semplice tradizionale piemontese locale, prezzo modesto. Siamo stati serviti velocemente, possibilità di avere un meno fisso ( a mezzogiorno)primo , secondo …
