From mouthwatering platters loaded with fresh catches to a just-caught red snapper grilled like a dream, every bite was pure bliss. The lively vibes made the night even better,highly recommend if you’re ready to treat your taste buds.

Stopped in on a Friday evening on our way to SPI. Had a delicious meal, Ceviche was fresh and served promptly. Also enjoyed a 4 meat plate with fresh coleslaw and hush puppies. All the items were flavorful and enjoyed every bit. Carlos, our server was great help. Recommend you try it.

Order the ceviche with fish, shrimp and calamari it is delicious! I’m a lime addict meaning I have to squeeze so many limes to my ceviche but here I don’t have to. The intense flavor of lime on the ceviche is fantastic. This is the only ceviche I’ve ever had that tastes this good. This place is a restaurant and a seafood market. If you are headed to beach and would like to pick up ceviche to go. You can pick it up next door at the seafood market. I recommend everyone to give this place a try.

Stopped in for fish tacos on a Sunday. The place was crazy busy but we were texted when our table was ready, which was nice. Fish tacos were spectacular! Full of flavor and good portions. Toppings were plentiful and sides (beans / rice) were flavorful. Also got a shrimp and fish ceviche, which was very good. Great acidity and adequate portion sizes, even for sharing. Be aware that the restaurant can be very noisy inside though, but don't let that deter you from some killer fish tacos!

We really loved it here. Everything was super fresh. We had crab cakes and shrimp po-boys. The seafood soup to start was a great beginning to an amazing meal. We are planning on going back tomorrow before we leave town.

Helpful and friendly staff. The ceviche with homemade chips was fantastic. Both fish and shrimp tacos were delicious and not dry or overcooked. Hush puppies were a pleasant surprise, way better than expected! The whole experience was legit. Great job!

We were on the island for the weekend chrome in the sand event and wanted to try a good seafood restaurant. It took them a minute to seat us. They do give you chips and a little soup while you wait for your food to arrive. For appetizer we got the oysters on the half shell which I dressed up. Oysters were great! It was a Friday so the seafood soup was on the board which I ordered and it was filled with so much seafood it was amazing! My boyfriend ordered the number 4 plate with fish, shrimp, oysters, and calamari. His plate was very delicious also. His plate was fresh fried so he gave me some to taste and the calamari was so good I wish we ordered some for the appetizer. They have a fresh seafood market there you can buy your fish and they will cook it as well. I highly recommend this place. Next time we come again to the area we are going again to this quaint local restaurant.

This place did everything right. Good service. Clean place. Restrooms were clean and in order. The food wasn’t the best but it was okay. Oysters are small. We ordered 12 and only got 6 but it was okay. We didn’t want the other 6 anyways. The seafood soup was good with chips and those come with the meal. That was a really nice touch. The shrimp and fish ceviche was good but it was heavy on the cilantro. All in all it was a nice visit. Just temper your expectations. And be prepared to wait forever. It took us 30 minutes just to check out.

Amazing seafood!! Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff is super friendly. We had the Shrimp Rachero, shrimp platter, calamari platter and their homemade lemonade. Will definitely recommend this restaurant and will be visiting for their yummy and perfectly cooked shrimp and calamari. If you fish they will cook your catch as well!

The food was delicious. The service was fantastic with Britney doing an excellent job. Bathrooms are clean and restaurant is clean and decorated very nicely.

I had tried the ceviche here over a year ago while on vacation and I could not stop craving it. I could not wait to visit Port Isabel again just so I could eat here again.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and good service. It was a busy restaurant, but thankfully there was only a 15-minute wait. The crab cake was the thickest I've ever had. I liked the fried shrimp and blackened fish, next time I will order the fish fried. This restaurant is also a convenient store, when you enter from the right entrance, they have coolers with cans of beer, as well as, ceviche.

Los Tortugo’s is a combo seafood market and restaurant … we went to dinner at the restaurant. It’s an OK place … service was very slow. We sat outside, and it took 20 minutes and multiple requests to get a server to our table. Most of our food was delivered barely warm. We ordered the crab cake and grilled crab claws appetizers. Just OK … Dinner was flounder and red snapper. The fish was good, was as noted served lukewarm. The star of the evening was the salsa, served with the chips … complimentary! Awesome salsa… simple, sautéed tomatoes, onion and jalapeño… delicious! Plenty of good seafood places in the SPI area, we likely won’t be back. Cannot recommend…

Well we love this place last year !! This year We went again and found out the owner had past away. Our condolences to this family.. But here we go as soon we enter this the atmosphere was different !! Waitresses was not in dam good mood ! Plus we got our soup cold n to top it off we ask a male waiter if he could give us salsa and he said plain James I will tell ur Waitresses !! He could of said I will get u one but we were not his customers.. Then we ordered jumbo shrimp 🍤 n brought us small dam shrimp n we told Waitresses thus not jumbo shrimp she said yes is it ! We no miss yr wrong we didn't want to discuss it then she said we'll instead we give 2 extra if nit jumbo we'll that was the case for us ! Service suck n when owner is not in business cats do what ever they want is the point.. excuse for everything it is baddd Service n food not c the same Joe's is better Service n better food !! Went to this restaurant after seeing positive reviews expecting good fresh seafood. Much to our surprise was greatly disappointed. Had to wait 20 minutes to get seated on hard wood booth. Was served tortilla chips but no salsa. Was served seafood small dish of soup but was broth with nothing in it. Took 30 minutes to receive our 2 meat entrée. The food was cold. The shrimp was awful. I thought it would be shrimp with batter from flour but got shrimp with cornmeal batter Much like the frozen shrimp from grocery stores in a box that you take home and fry. The fish was not any better. Cole slaw was tasteless. The fries like you get from drive thru. No bread or roll. Will never go again. I can't imagine why people have any positive reviews.
