Been coming to Tommy’s for 15+ years now and I’m never disappointed, the staff is definitely the best part of the place! Most of the staff have been there for 10+ years which to me says a lot, always so friendly and will try to do everything they can to accommodate everyone. The food and drinks are great! If you haven’t had a burger from Tommy’s place you’re missing out, the portion sizes are huge and they have the cheapest prices in town!

What a pleasure Tommy's Place is. Good food, good drinks and a great staff make it our favorite spot to relax and unwind in Port Jefferson. It is just so comfortable there. You can walk in any time and get a table or a seat at the bar. Jackie, Torrie, Melissa, Dennis, Kelsey, Waylon and Chris are exceptional bartenders. You can't sit at their bar and not feel welcome and you can't leave their bar without making new friends. Peter is an exceptional manager; he is literally there all day long but he still manages to greet everyone warmly and make sure they're having a great time. Lisa is the kind of server who makes you want to come back time and time again. Personally, the biggest draw is the people, but the food is awesome. The mussels are a must have for seafood lovers, as are the baked clams and fried shrimp - and the Tommy burger is everything. I'm also a big fan of the chicken sliders. Stop by, have a bite to eat and make some new friends

Tommy's Place is a wonderful place in the heart of Port Jefferson. Food is great and the service is amazing. Great neighborhood feel in a town with a lot of Tourists in peak season. Cannot beat happy hour pricing and great weekly specials.

Tommy’s place has to be my favorite spot in port Jeff. The outside patio is perfect during the warm months, the inside bar is always lively and exciting. The staff are all so warm and welcoming, and they give great drink recommendations! Affordable, fast service, great place for a nice date night or a sit down dinner. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

Wonderful atmosphere in the heart of Port Jefferson. Customer service was very friendly and waitress was quick and got everything right. I don't think she wrote our order down. Lighting is nice even in the day time (haven't went at night yet)and place was very clean. Price was fair I usually spend 100-120 for just two people. There was a party of 4 end up spending about 85 which is with no drinks for all 4. Would recommend to anyone who will love to have fun and enjoy a really top notch restaurant.

Pretty good beer selection. This place has a bar and separated dining room to fit your choice of atmosphere. Lots of smaller TV’s located in the heart of Port.

Everyone enjoyed their food. I had a Tommy's burger with waffle fries....very tasty and filling. I love calamari, however, I thought theirs was ok, I've had better. My husband loved the wings and we all thought that the mozzarella sticks were yummy. Btw Tommy's Place has a variety of food you can choose from, such as, pasta dishes, seafood entrees, steak, heros, etc.

Mix feeling about this place. The four of us ordered different dishes to try, and some were surprisingly tasty, while others were quite disappointing. The highlights were the ahi tuna and the seafood diablo. Both dishes were executed well, and the portion on the seafood diablo was big enough for two. Now comes the disappointing dishes - first up, mango mạhi-mahi. It was meh, especially when you compare it against the ahi tuna, which was the same price as the mahi-mahi. The worst dish of it all was the sliced steak. We asked for rare, and it came out well done. The waitress apologized and offered to bring a new dish, but we were pretty full and didn’t wanna wait again as it took a while for this dish to come out. We had a feeling that the kitchen prepped it a while back, but it was left on the counter, which continued to cook while the steak was on the skillet. For a juicy steak lover, this dish was terrible. It is too bad that this was the last thing I remember for dining here.

Service was great, we sat outside. Burger was cooked perfectly, drinks were great, pretzel outstanding! However the bread was green and moldy. They did make it right by replacing the meal free of charge, however quality control is a must to be worked on

The food was the worst food I had in a longtime. My brother got a steak he asked for medium rare it came out well done. I ordered shrimp scampi. There was no garlic in it at all. The taste was terrible, no flavor I even added a ton of parmesan cheese that didn't help at all. My sister in law ordered the shrimp and scallops over angel hair pasta it had no flavor..terrible food. My husband ordered seafood fradavolo. All you tasted was the heat in the sauce. Our server was wonderful we felt bad because she felt bad about the food also. They did take off the steak that my brother sent back. They didn't even offer us a drink for the bad food. I will never come back here again. We wanted to try it. That was a mistake

Waited from 3:30 pm till 4 pm for a server to at least show up and get an order started. No one asked if I wanted a drink or brought a water. Im writing this as I’m waiting! In a mostly empty restaurant. Other people were being served, very odd. I wonder why I was not welcome?
