Hole in the wall with the BEST fish and chips I've ever had in my life!!! The fish was fresh and a big portion so it wasn't just all batter. The tarter sauce tasted homemade and the fries were for sure hand cut. I crave this now all the time, just wish there was seating that allowed kids so we didn't need a babysitter when the cravings hit ;) Drinks were good too!!! The bartender got the rye oldfashioned just to my husbands liking and the dirty martini's were on point. We were there on a night with live music and that was a treat as well. Overall we had a great time, great meal, and wonderful drinks that didn't break the bank... we will be back.

This place is a local Poway institution. Has the longest continuous license in Poway. The people are great, lots of locals but because of the bands on the weekends many people show up from all other places. I've met people from other countries hanging out there. The staff is great. I have some friends that hang out there. I enjoy my time with them. I've taken my brother and my sister-in-law there. The food is excellent.

They often have live music. I only drink beer so can’t comment on the cocktails but they looked good watching them being made. They have 2 pool tables and a fun game similar to corn hole on the patio. The wings are very good as well!

When is Rome, have a Guiness at the Irish Pub. If you're lucky, you'll get a clover in your drink. This is a quaint little Pub. They often have live music. The staff are chill and attentive. I haven't had the food there, yet, so I can't opine on their grub. However, drinks are well made. There's a strong local presence, too, which is cool.

We had a last minute going away party of 20 people and when all other places said they couldn't accommodate us this place stepped up and went above and beyond! The outdoor patio was perfect for all of us and more. Shout out to Justin and the bartender who went above and beyond to serve us all! Very welcoming, hardworking and understanding! I highly recommend this place even for a drink or hanging out!

This place is a good place, you can get along with the owner and the bartenders really easy. Best during the weekends but the tranquility of slow nights has away been my best interest. You got to pick and choose and stay out of some of the local drama which can be hard to do, but if you're more about you and keep a happy perspective you'll be good.

Service was friendly and the cover band they had playing for entertainment was fun. Not very spacious but they managed to get a pool table in there and there is a nice outdoor seating area too.

Bar food... gotta keep that in mind.. but the food is always good. Portions are generous, and they have a full kitchen. Bartenders are also friendly and remember us and what we drink. I'm not a fan of the bands that play because it's a very small venue, and they ALWAYS play wayyyyyyy too loud, and it sounds horrible. All in all... we love this bar 🍸

The only drawback of the restaurant is the staff made things a little confusing in the way that it was not clear whether I order at the bar or if the staff would come to my table to take my order.

Bar food... gotta keep that in mind.. but the food is always good. Portions are generous, and they have a full kitchen. Bartenders are also friendly and remember us and what we drink. I'm not a fan of the bands that play because it's a very small venue, and they ALWAYS play wayyyyyyy too loud, and it sounds horrible. All in all... we love this bar 🍸

Great local bar, fun and has a couple pool tables. We frequent this place. Comfortable atmosphere, great bands, etc. I hope one day they can modernize the inside with more seating and newer stuff, is all but it's still great! Love the food too!

There's also a small patio. The biggest draw to this place is the food (it's good!), and live music. I had the Guiness Stew ($13) which was loaded with large chunks of tender beef, potatoes, carrots, and topped with whipped potatoes. A slice of buttered, toasted, roll was included. It was quite tasty. My buddy got a chicken sandwich with fries ($16) which looked very good. The fries are the bomb. Prices range from $12 for a quesedilla (plain), $16 for a basic burger, and $20 for fish & chips Add a couple of draught beers and you're looking at an average of $40-$50 bar tab per person.

I Didn't Like The No Waiting Staff To Take Your Order. I Had To Limp My Way To The Bar And Grab A Menu & Sit Down To Read It. Oh Yeah Limp Back, Yeah Order Food & Drinks. I Guess I Was Lucky The Bartender Brought My Food To My Table. I Do Admit The Burger Fries And Potato Soup Are Delicious Here. Yup They Definitely Have Ice Cold Stellas Here. I Did Like The Awesome Band They Had, Oh Yeah They Were Taking Care Business! Yeah This Place Does Have Potential.
