I was ecstatic when I found out my favorite hometown restaurant was opening near me. I counted down the days until opening and practically sprinted in on day one. The service was beyond amazing, the restaurant is gorgeous, and the food instantly transported me back home. I usually go for the steak, but this time I also tried the shrimp and chicken salad. It was fresh, flavorful, and the steak was juicy and tender. I also tried the chipotle ranch for the first time and now I am hooked. If you are looking for a lunch or dinner spot, this is it. You will not regret it. At the rate I will be coming here, they will probably know me by name soon.

I had not heard about this place, but found myself between errands. The vibe is welcoming and my lunch was incredible. I sat outside on a Texas summer day and it was comfortable with good music playing overhead. This is a must try if you’re in the area.

Upon entering I was immediately greeted and with smiles. The vibe of the restaurant was very inviting, and it was spacious, and clean. Once you order you’re given a number to place on the table if you’re dining in. You can sit indoors or outdoors; I chose to sit outside since it was a beautiful day. My order came quickly and looked amazing. I ordered the Berry Good salad with grilled chicken and a Matcha Strawberry Lemonade. The Berry Good salad came with citrus vinaigrette dressing on the side and an orange roll. It did not disappoint!! It tasted so fresh especially the fruits. The dressing was so good and the perfect addition, and there was plenty of it as I like to drown my salad with dressing. I devoured it and wanted more of it! The Matcha Strawberry Lemonade was very refreshing too. It was a perfect blend of both the Matcha and strawberry lemonade; one did not overpower the other which I love. Kudos to the employee who made this! James was very kind and helpful the moment I walked in, explaining everything to me while also checking in to make sure I was happy with my order. This is their second opening week and though I did not get to order brunch (started today) I will definitely be back for it as well as to try other things on the menu in the near future. Truly wish this business a growing success!

Healthy foods! So delicious! So Awesome! Everthing is good here! We got the steak, chicken and salmon and all the plates were delicious! Excellent Customer Service from Nadia, Jacob and the Big Man of the house, full of kindness and smiles, the entire restaurant staff is just phenomenal! The seats are comfortable, Lots of space for groups, Children will love it! Indoor and outdoor seating by the water! Excellent views, they have a TV inside, the Music ambience is perfect, The Organic Teas are delicious! Make sure you get some orange rolls to go they're awesome! The only thing missing here is You & Your Family! Btw, they have Breakfast and Brunch on the weekends 1030am to 2pm. It's hard to find healthy, affordable and delicious at the same time and here it is! Walk-ins are welcomed, You can make reservations too and caterings for your events! I highly recommend this restaurant! 💯 🥳 😋

Urban Cookhouse – Prosper, TX We stopped into Urban Cookhouse on a Monday evening, and to our surprise, we were the only ones dining in. Even with the quiet atmosphere, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We’ve had takeout from here before and remembered how fresh everything was, so we were really looking forward to eating in this time. There’s plenty of seating inside, and the space feels open and comfortable. They also have tons of patio seating, which would be perfect on a nice evening. The interior has a rustic-industrial vibe, with a warm accent wall and touches like the decorative bureau that make the space feel thoughtfully designed. For dinner, we ordered the lime-marinated steak with rice and the citrus-grilled salmon. We subbed the sides for the broccoli salad and roasted vegetables, and everything came out quickly and piping hot. The flavors were fresh, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Overall, Urban Cookhouse was a great experience—friendly staff, fast service, and tasty, well-prepared food. We’ll definitely be back.

Loved this spot! We tried several dishes like Tofu Sandwich, Pepper patch wrap, Hot cheddar pasta, Warm orange rolls and Berry good salad, everything was absolutely perfect—juicy, fresh, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The dessert was mouthwatering as well - freshly baked cookie topped with vanilla ice cream. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. A must-visit!

Food was amazing. Have been wanting to try it for a while and so glad we did today. Got the BALT. Very flavorful and filling. My daughter got the salmon. They even cut and cooked the veggies more for her. Will definitely be back to try more food!

Exceptional! The food is so fresh and flavored in a really balanced way, the atmosphere is inviting and makes you want to hang out, but best of all, the service is top notch and so friendly. My 10yo son said “can we come here everyday?” and had to order some extra sides since he loved them so much. We are excited to live down the street and will be back often.

Finally Prosper get a healthy farm to table fresh food restaurant. Went there and the dinning room is super clean, the owner and staff super friendly and the food was amazing. We got the 2 most popular sandwiches The Cuban and The Turkey Crunch. The strawberry lemonade was perfect, not too sweet and not too sour. We surely recommend it and will be back soon. Forgot to take pictures of dishes, since the phone does not eat before me. LOL

Urban Cookhouse hit the spot! I grabbed the BLT and it was fresh, crisp, and downright delicious. Hubby went for the buffalo chicken wrap and he loved every bite. Super fresh ingredients, great flavor, and friendly vibes. We’ll definitely be back!

Couldn’t wait to try this new place and I’m so pleased! Menu wasn’t overwhelming, lots of good options for different moods. Went with a salad and the BALT (BLT w/Avocado) and YUM! The aioli was a tad spicy but delicious and gave great flavor but the broccoli salad was AMAZING and came recommended by our cashier. So good! We’ll be back!

Just tried this place for the first time and my goodness is it good 🤩 I had the White BBQ sandwich, and let me tell you…that white BBQ sauce is insane. Super flavorful without being overpowering, and with the grilled chicken and bacon it just works perfectly. Definitely one of those sandwiches you’d come back for. My wife got the Turkey Crunch sandwich and she’s already saying she wants it again 😆 fresh, tasty, and really well made. We also tried the orange rolls and wow… absolutely amazing. Soft, sweet and easily worth it on their own if you’re craving something sweet! Apparently they have a mix for you to make at home! On top of the great food, they’re local and family-owned, which makes supporting them even better. We’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t yet 🤌🏻 Show them some love! ❤️

Our new local favorite for healthy meals. My wife and I love the salads, the portion sizes are great and it’s extremely fresh! Prices are very reasonable as well, especially for healthy options. Support local farmers and local businesses. Only one recommendation, please make the rolls bigger they are so good!

Enjoyed a great meal at Urban Cookhouse in Prosper today. Had a conversation with the owner, he's very friendly and personable. Fresh ingredients, locally sourced when they can. Good, fresh food, fresh tea (I've never been able to get fresh unsweetened tea in a restaurant before today). They also have a gluten-free menu. We were very pleased, and we will go back.

This place is fantastic! Super friendly staff and great food. The jalapeno vinaigrette on the pepper patch salad wrap is delicious. You can definitely tell they have higher quality food to similar items from other restaurants.

Good, fresh food, fresh tea (I've never been able to get fresh unsweetened tea in a restaurant before today). They also have a gluten-free menu. We were very pleased, and we will go back.

Just found this place...kind of hidden, but worth finding. We really liked all of the food. Turkey was great, just the right amount of heat. Met James, the owner and he is focused on getting it right...down to keeping the menu rotating with new, fresh stuff. They are trying to locally source the food, cook it right there on a big green egg and bring a true farm-to-table taste and vibe. He told us about brunch on Sat-Sun...fresh-made French toast using their orange bread! along with vanilla pancakes and berry compote! Def coming back again, cheers.

Wow! The customer service was above and beyond! Very kind workers in both Joshua and Nicole! Jesse, the manager, made sure we were taken care of and enjoyed our visit as well. The food is very fresh, great portion size, very flavorful and filling. The orange rolls were a hit with the kids! The broccoli salad was a great, fresh light side option for a sandwich. The meat was all very full of flavor and kid approved as well!

They even have a nice patio overlooking Preston Road, which will definitely be great in cooler weather. We sat inside since it was hot, but the whole place has a warm, lively vibe. For food, I ordered the Turkey Crunch and it did not disappoint. The “crunch” isn’t just in the name—it’s fresh, flavorful, and gives every bite that perfect texture. The sauce tied everything together, and I found myself enjoying every bite. My side of roasted vegetables was solid—well seasoned and cooked just enough to keep that natural sweetness and a slight char, which shows they know how to handle fresh produce. My wife had the Urban Cowboy with steak, cooked well-done since she’s pregnant. Steak can sometimes lose flavor when it’s cooked all the way through, but this one was still juicy and satisfying, which is not easy to pull off. We both left very happy with our meals. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the bathroom upkeep. It wasn’t terrible, but there were a few messy spots and a slight odor that stood out—especially surprising for a brand-new location. It’s something management should keep an eye on because a great dining experience should also extend to clean facilities. Overall, Urban Cookhouse is in a great location, the food is flavorful and well-priced, and the service was solid. Our meal for two came out to $36, which feels fair for the quality. Definitely a place we’ll be returning to and recommending to friends in Prosper.

The broccoli salad was the best part of my meal but like 1/4 of the container was stem chunks. It also had grapes in it which was a little different but good. The orange roll was laughable. I’m fairly certain it was still raw on the bottom, it had no orange flavor whatsoever, and it came squished up in a little sheet of foil. Not at all worth the $1.50 I paid for it. I wouldn’t even pay 10 cents for that pathetic ball of dough again lol. The strawberry lemonade was just meh. Not horrible but I’d never order it again here. It wasn’t very sweet. Overall I’m super disappointed. This meal cost me $21.37, and I could’ve gotten a much better sandwich combo from Arby’s for less than $10. Today was the first time I’ve ever tried this place, so I’ll give them one more try. All the other reviewers seem to have enjoyed it, so maybe I just caught em on a bad day or something, I dk.
