Opinions de El Gran Rosticero Puebla
It's a takeaway service, you absolutely must try the beer-braised ribs, they're the best!
I recommend this place. The food quality is excellent, and the service is fast and efficient. 👌
I've been a regular at this establishment for a while now and I never tire of recommending it. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is family-friendly, the prices are reasonable, and above all, the customer service is top-notch. It's definitely an establishment that deserves more exposure; I'm always satisfied.
I arrived and there weren't many people there, so I don't know what the weekend would be like. The service was amazing, as soon as I saw the ad on Facebook, I contacted them, and they immediately sent me the menu and prices. The portion is good, but it could have been bigger. The flavor is good, their sauces are delicious, and overall it's good. I'll go back for the ribs; they look good too.
Pretty good. 24Hrs. Sandwiches are the best.
Located in a somewhat inconspicuous spot, but not exactly hidden. The service is quite good, with friendly and charismatic waiters. The food is quite good and the price is fair, but you should come prepared to spend a lot. They offer a complimentary digestif for first-timers, and it's quite good. I'll definitely be back in a few weeks.
Simply the best food around.
Holy crap, this is literally the best meal I've had in years. The service was impeccable, the beer selection was great, and I highly recommend the braised pork shank. Everything was super fresh, the atmosphere was great, and it was especially delicious. I don't think it's expensive at all; it's quite fair for the quality. Plus, they gave me a digestif because it was my first time!
Great takeaway food!
Good food and excellent service, only take out.
The food is good. I highly recommend the 24-hour ribs and the mustard ribs. The chicken isn't as good, but everything else is good. I changed my opinion a bit because lately they've been serving a lot of fat on the ribs.
The product (ribs and pork shank) is good, although the price is very high for fast food. Regarding the food, the German sausage is frozen, so its flavor leaves much to be desired. I don't recommend it at all; they microwave it and then fry it poorly. It's not clear what "extras" (sauce, bread, salad) are included with each dish, so I don't know if they actually delivered what was supposed to be ordered. It's unacceptable that their employees get upset because no one leaves a delivery, which shouldn't even need to be requested since it's not restaurant service, just delivery, and that's what they're paid for, right? The manager got upset because I didn't ask for a receipt for my purchase. No, sir, it's your responsibility to send the receipt, not wait for the customer to request it. I didn't receive anything to confirm my purchase; the receipt should be issued for tax purposes and to verify prices. Be aware of this.
While driving along Camino Real, I was intrigued and wanted to try something different, so I stopped at El Gran Rosticero, which advertises German cuisine. The place is small, and I think it's only for takeout or delivery. They were bringing out a tray of oven-baked chicken (I think), not roasted as it's commonly known in the area. The chicken was tender and juicy, served with potatoes (which were hard) and onions that bake with it, along with a sauce made from its own cooking liquid. I had three issues: I think it was slightly over-salted, and the top was raw; I had to put it back in the oven because it looked reddish (it probably would have been perfect after another 15 minutes). When we ate it, we noticed it had small feathers, so they weren't very clean. I was intrigued by the side dishes they sell, and I bought sauerkraut, which was very good. They only give you two spicy sauces with the chicken, both of which were tasty. There's a lot on the menu, and you can see it in the photos. I won't be back for the chicken, but I want to try other things like the German sausages or the beer-braised ribs; those might be better options. So this time the cost was high because the quality wasn't significantly better. I'm giving it 3 stars because I only tried one item; we'll see what happens later.
Everything is delicious, but lately when I go there, there's none or they've already run out. I don't know what's going on. If you go for bagged food, there's some, but freshly baked goods aren't available. 😩
I'd always bought Bavarian pork shank at this place, but it'll be the last time. My whole family got stomach problems (diarrhea and vomiting), even the dog got sick. Not recommended at all.
The Chamorro was very good. Unfortunately, the sausages they gave me were spoiled and had a bad smell, but they still served them. It's a shame about the dishes, the staff couldn't care less about what they deliver. I also noticed a lack of cleanliness in the area where they wash the utensils, and I could see pork rinds hanging above the sink. I hope the owners do something for their business.
The potatoes were raw, they tell you the chicken comes with sauces and bread, but they don't give it to you. The only redeeming feature was the ribs... Overall, the chicken doesn't have a good flavor; it's just baked and has a lot of broth, with no crust or color or anything that stands out. 😪 Very expensive for what it is.
It used to be great! But it's gone downhill now. They gave us bread that was literally stale for days! It's better to be told they don't have any or they've already run out. It's terrible to give away products like that. I definitely won't be going back! There are better places. The meat is given to you in a vacuum-sealed bag and salted, we didn't like it.
