Service was on point. Our server was very attentive and informative. Food was delicious - we had a shrimp quesadilla dinner, grilled garlic mahi mahi dinner and super fresh guacamole. The strawberry margarita comes with Tajini (be sure to ask not to put on the rim if you want sugar instead). And the view of the ocean is amazingly beautiful. If near by, stop in for an amazing place to eat and relax.

Fabulous food. Relaxed atmosphere. Service was great. . The view of the beach and ocean is amazing. Lounge chairs available if you want to eat on the beach. I could stay there all day long.

This place is fantastic! Juan is a great waiter and kept the beers and mango margaritas flowing. Speaks great English and suggested a great dinner place since they close at 5:30. Best Chili Relleno I've ever had. Patricia is working on getting us on a 4.5-hour fishing trip with her guides. They will cook our fish here. I'm looking forward to it!

Overall, the best beach front restaurant in Sayulita from our experience. Juan was the absolute BEST. We came here our first day and hung on the beach the entire day and Juan was friendly, attentive and helpful. He remembered us each day and even reserved us a table on the last day we were there! Honestly the highlight of our experience. The food was good, we tried many things and all was light and delicious, perfect beach food. The steak was so tender,, the nachos are a must! We tried all the margaritas & most of the other drinks too and all were tasty! I'd recommend the cucumber Serrano margaritas. The beach vendors will all come up to you, I recommend purchasing on your last day. You can haggle a little but honestly, the prices weren't bad and those people are working hard walking the beach in the sand all day. David selling jewelry was our favorite. You can also purchase most of the items they are selling in the plaza if you'd rather see it all at once.

Captain Pablo's has a great location, good food, and friendly staff. Juan/Alejandro were both very friendly. Juan makes a great margarhita and is the man. The Mahi-Mahi fish (and chips) was some of the most tender fried fish I've ever had. The Red Snapper was great and I would recommend it to anyone who has never tried it. One morning we went out with Captain Pablo himself, caught a couple Mahi-Mahi, then came back to lunch where the restaurant cleaned and cooked up the fish with a delicious rub and sauteed garlic. The other fish we caught that day was made into an incredible fresh ceviche (photos of the [same] fish). Served with salsas, rice, beans, tortillas- all the fixings. Great way to see the surrounding coast, catch fish, and eat fresh food. Next to Captain Pablo's is Patricia's board shop (shared ownership). During our time here we rented boards for three weeks. I would recommend it for long term and short term rentals.

Probably some of the best mexican and seafood I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. Came down to Sayulita for the day and our bus driver told us this is the place to eat at for seafood. The guacamole, chicken quesadilla, and fish and chips were some of the most flavorful and delicious food I’ve had. The atmosphere was great and the server was very attending to us. Great location right on the beach with delicious food for a day with the family. Highly recommend if you’re scared about trying new places in a foreign place.

We "hung out" waiting for our kids and grandkids to frolic on the beach - Alejandro drew us in with his infectious smile and friendly attitude. We only had chips, margaritas, and beer, but it all was very good - but the service is what set things apart! They didn't have Indio and Alejandro ran to the store and got two for me. This is a very casual restaurant - a great place to hang and have fun!

Best ceviche on the beach! Chill atmosphere with top notch service. Excellent margaritas, very fair price, and a great view of the break to enjoy the show. I'll be there on the daily until I leave. A huge thanks to all involved in making this spot so special!

Went with my husband and our 3 1/2 yr old son. Amazing place amazing people amazing location. Exactly the type of food you would expect from small-town Mexico delicious fresh easy to order. Patricia was an absolute amazing hostess great conversationalist !Juan our waiter was an absolute class act as well ,great guy awesome server!!!! we had a great time ,felt very welcome all of the staff were super helpful and accommodating. Our son Eli had a blast here both under the cabana and down on their beach. We enjoyed the people and food as well!!!Although we only got to visit a couple of times it will be an absolute definite revisit and a place we highly recommend. They also offer on site surf lessons and rentals, several fishing options as well!! Seriously the one stop shop for us. can’t wait to go back!!!

Great end-to-end fishing and dining experience. Used them to book a 4-5 hr fishing excursion and caught 9 fish! They were gutted and filleted at the restaurant and put on ice. Came back with the family that evening and we ate a few fish from the catch. Basically, for a few bucks per person, they cook up your catch and provide you all of the necessary accoutrements to enjoy it too. Took the rest of my haul back to the casa to enjoy the next day.

Un lugar con buen servicio, hay sombrillas y un lugar con buena sombra. Tienen un instructor de surf que te da clase de 2 horas por $700 pesos . La comida muy buena, el chile relleno de mariscos la mejor recomendación. Puedes estar ahí todo el día sí haces consumo. Muy buen lugar. Lo único es que los baños no son muy bonitos.

Servicio rápido, precio accesible. Pedí un filete con camarones y queso, arroz y ensalada, traía suficientes tortillas para acompañar, el sabor de todo si me gustó pero le falta un poco de sazón. Al estar enfrente de la playa lo hace ser una buena opción

Very chill restaurant right on the reef break. Best show in town. Patricia has a very attentive staff. Menu was limited on 1st day back from lockdown, but what they were able to serve was cooked perfectly and served hot. Just wish Patricia would put in a juice/smoothie bar for post-surf sessions.

La vomida estaba muy buena, la ubicación tiene buena vista al mal. Lo malo fue que tardan mucho en servirte la comida y que los meseros no te atienden si no es su mesa.

Buen sabor, no es caro, por lo que no se puede exigir demasiado. Good taste, not expensive, so you can not demand too much.

El lugar, la vista y la atención buena, la comida no tanto el coctel de camarón bastante malo, no lo sirven con catsup, le ponen caldo!! Y te agregan el cargo de "servicio" si o si! No te dan la opción de dejar de propina lo que consideres, de cualquier forma lo mal ganado no te rinde!! Ya tienen su sueldo la ganancia es la propina!! Muy mal por eso!! Creo que no regresaré!

El lugar está en la orilla de la playa, la vista es única. Sin embargo, hay muchos puntos desfavorables. *Falta más limpieza entre las mesas. *La comida tarda por la demanda de clientes. *El sazón es bueno, más no excelente. *Falta más atención por parte de los meseros. *Hay que mejorar la higiene en los sanitarios.

Not a good place for somebody expecting a healthy meal. Fajitas tasted like pasta sauce and the fish sticks seemed to come from the freezer. Smoothies have added sugar. I like that they don’t use straws.

Este lugar te roba el dinero, tienes que pagar mínimo $350 por persona, y si no te dejan comer ahí, ademas los precios están un poco un elevados aunque la presentación de cada comida es buena, ademas un mesero nos discrimino dándonos a entender que si no tienian dinero para pagar que nos fueramos, ya que éramos una familia grande de 6 personas, sinceramente este lugar no vale la pena, hay mejores lugares para pasársela bien en esta playa mas baratos y con mejor servicio , y no... no hay tanta demanda en este establecimiento lo maximo de gange que llegue va ver son 4 mesas ocupadas y de no mas de 4 personas

This place had been empty ever day we had walked by. Which isn’t a good sign. We had a few guys from our group fish with Patricia’s Surf School. Captain Pablo’s prepared the fish they caught. Everyone in our group got severely and violently ill after eating here. We had to cut our trip short because the food poisoning was so bad. Chills, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps, headaches and body aches. I’d steer clear of this place. Honestly probably never going back to Mexico again after this experience.

Beach restaurant that is super cheap ie: 80 pesos for a margarita. The food tastes nice, but we think it got us sick => was in bed with stomach pain and diarrhea the whole next day. When I felt up to eating again, we went back and had lunch, and then the next day my boyfriend got sick. When we were there I noticed the sinks for washing hands don't really have soap dispensers.
