Absolutely have the special Mahi Mahi dish for an awe inspiring delight for your palate. The atmosphere is electric with the buzz of conversation of patrons punctuated by music provided from quality street musicians. All are welcomed with the “live and let live” attitude without judgement, from an outstanding family run Mexican business model.

This place was recommended to us by a family member as follows; “when we lived there, we would easily go x2 a week.” In our current stay in PV; we’ve gone x2 and will probably go x2 more if God permits. The food is great! The service is great! The price is great! I literally have no bad thing to say about this restaurant. Please go!

Easily the best meal on our trip. We have walked by many times and can’t believe passed them up until now. We got there later at night with a group of people and they were perfectly accommodating. Favourite meal of my time in Mexico. Found my new favourite Mexican dish- Chiles en Nogada. I had the beef one, it was excellent. The aqua Fresca was guava, so delicious! Great value and service. Would definitely recommend!

This was our favorite restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. Everything was elevated without elevated prices. They understand the art of dining. I’m so thankful I was able to finally have Chile en Nogado. Can’t wait to come back.

We got the chiles en nogada - it’s green chiles filled with either shrimp or beef. We got one of each. The shrimp was personally my favourite as the beef mixture was a bit sweet for my taste. The dish came with steamed veggies and a little mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were heavenly. Garlicky and delicious. Next time, I’d try a different entree but it was still great! Beautiful presentation.

What great find! Lovely small casual restaurant in the heart of PV. Service was as excellent as was the food. Wait staff was happy and excited. I had Chiles en Nogada with a mix of shrimp and beef. It was a perfect portion and all the flavors layered nicely with each bite. The food tasted fresh and wholesome. The cost was reasonable. Looking forward to tasting the other dishes.

Simple, great food, greater value! Lunch special comes with a water of the day (great flavours, tastes like Horchata), a soup (delicious), and a entree. I got one of the chile things and it was in a delicious coconut sauce with pomegranate. 10/10 presentation too! Service is great too, food came out super fast!

I had the lunch special. Mushroom soup, Mexican steak fajitas and a lemonade. It was all very good. The soup was flavorful with the right level of cream so it wasn't heavy. The tortillas were good and just the right thickness. The beans and rice were flavorful and the steak was chopped fine and well seasoned. All for 95 pesos! (The sparkling lemonade was an upcharge.) Very friendly service!

Had a fabulous lunch for 99 pesos that included soup, entree, and agua fresca. I opted for the creamy corn soup which was light and very tasty. For my entree, I chose the Chiles en Nogada, a sweet and savory picadillo filling inside a Poblano, all bathed in a creamy walnut sauce. This place is a real gem and I highly recommend it.

People this place is the bomb.com!! We had their lunch special rancher steak fajitas which came with a soup and two sides I choose salad and rice also came with a flavored water for 100 pas !! Amazing!!!! We loved it so much we came back the next day which was even better! Little hole in the wall but truly delicious! Must try!! Full bellies great service happy faces!!

Excellent local cuisine, hole in the wall, nightly specials, and phenomenal service, provided by family. I highly recommend ordering any of their seafood. Their mussels were amazing and seafood special was fantastic. Love their romantic soloist guitarist and singer. Really made the evening so romantic. A must visit during your stay in Puerto Vallarta. Tenía pasando por el area y desde cuando quería probar los frappes del lugar, hoy fue ese día y la vdd me llevó una mala experiencia fui tipo 1:30pm y pedí un frappe para llevar, el frappe no tenía sabor ni azúcar :/ La vdd pensé que si iba a tener sabor por que incluso me preguntaron qué si quería crema batida 🤷🏽‍♂️ creo que los frappes no son los fuertes del lugar o mejor dicho mi bebida no fue la mejor.

I should have known better as I had a gut feeling going in there, but we were exhausted and starving and decided to give it a shot. The menu was straight out of 1989, but was kinda hoping they’d had dialed in. Worst filet mignon I’ve ever had in my life. It had the consistency of pot roast. The veg was a mix of frozen broccoli carrots and cauliflower straight from costco or the like. Mashed potatoes were decent, but portion size was literally about 2 tablespoons…maybe 3. The pricing was reasonable but I’d don’t feel I got what I paid for. Too bad this review will probably be filtered out, removed, or lost in the sea of all the obviously fake reviews.

Mala experiencia. Son varias las ocasiones en que me eh interesado en lo que ofrecen y al preguntar acerca de la elaboraciòn (ya que evito el azucar) la chica que "atiende" al parecer no sabe nada,lo peor es que contesta despota y desinteresadamente. Que feo.

Shrimp Alfredo came out warm and the bacon was completely raw. The chicken enchiladas also came out room temperature the only flavor was the over abundance of garlic. It has been the worst dinning experience on this trip. We come to PV 3 months every year. This is great restaurant to just pass by.
