All of the Rubio's I have been to are high quality and tasty food. Rose as a manager here is very nice and this was a good spot for lunch in Ramona

Very good service, young man named Billy took my order then continued his duties. Great detail to cleaning. Corporate rubios should recognize employees like this. Very few around. I will be returning, simply great to see someone with an attention to detail and care in what they’re doing.

Taco Tuesday is a great value and truly an awesome So Cal experience. The fish is classic crisp with fresh shreds of cabbage and a slice of lime just perfect. Now with the salsa bar there is no way you can not have the perfect meal on a Tuesday. Get there early the line goes out the door.

This is a good Rubio's. My family and I get dinner from it three or four times a month and we're rarely disappointed. I don't recommend it on a Saturday, because that seems to be the day the most mistakes are made on orders (weekends are always their busiest times).

Ramona Rubios is my favorite Rubios to go to simply because they are always so kind and caring. They keep the place clean, including restrooms. Food is always super tasty and if you have a problem with anything, Rosa, the manager, will take care of it for you.

I've eaten here many times and never had a bad experience. Their seafood is always fresh, great tasting and reasonably priced. I will certainly be back.

TIP WAS CALCULATED WITH THE TAX. When you click 20% tip the amount is calculated on the bill+tax total! Tip on the tax and 99% of patrons don't realize.

Ramona Rubio’s is my favorite location. The employees and managers are always friendly and patient when taking my orders. Aiden is fairly new, but he seems to motivate everyone to care about what they’re doing. The food has been made with care, actually looking like the photos vs being thrown together hurriedly. Came in here having an absolutely miserable night and just wanting 6 fish tacos more than anything in the world. Mae was an absolute homie and was so sweet the entire time and made me feel so much better with how kind she was. I don't know if it's because we are almost name twins or if she could tell I was feeling terrible. Absolute angel of a human she needs to be promoted immediately. Maybe to ceo even.

I visit Rubio’s here and there but I’ve only ever gotten the chicken street tacos. Came tonight and decided to try the Mexican street corn bowl and it was sooooo good! I got with grilled chicken and added grilled onions. Swapped out the cilantro lime sauce for sour cream and it was delicious! Great portion size and everything is nice and fresh. I’ll definitely be coming back to get it again! My only “complaint” about Rubio’s is they tend to be really slow however the employees are all friendly. If you haven’t tried their bowls yet, definitely do so!

I stoped around 2pm during the week, not rush hour so we got our food quick. Food was good, service was good and salsa bar area was clean. If you like fish, there is a combo with fish burrito and taco, not in the menu but it is one of the original combos from long time.

I love Rubio's in general but this one is my favorite one to go to. Friendly, helpful staff and they keep this place clean. Pricing is fair for really good, clean Mexican style food. I usually get the chicken nacho supreme with extra chicken. The chicken is always moist and flavorful. I have never once gotten any gristle or anything weird like at other places. Parking can be scarce but heck, I need to walk more anyways.

Rubio's is pretty consistent with their fish tacos. The only gripe that I have about this place is the tables are sticky like really sticky. Makes it feel gross when you eat on them. My recommendation to Rubio's in Ramona is to replace your tables.

It's a chain, so you know what you're going to get. The staff here has always been friendly the times I have been in to eat. Occasional slow service when staff levels are low and customers are lined up, but this has only happened once. Love this food and this locale gets it done!

Great food. Ordering online (or app) is super convenient, but the food is hardly ever ready at the time you put for the order. It's usually ready 10 to 15 minutes later so keep that mind when ordering ahead.

Somehow the food is never hot, always just warm, when you get it. It's still good though. The original fish tacos, chicken burrito especial and bean and cheese burrito are our favorites.

I didn't eat at the restaurant. We ordered take out and drove another half hour to eat at the St. Ysabel Nature Center. After the long wait, the food was still good. The sauces were "on the side" , and we saved the extra. My daughter used them to add flavors to two more meals at home. There was a lot of packaging, but most of it is compostable, and we will reuse the strong outer plastic shopping bag with handles. It was a good day!

One of the nicer establishments in Ramona, and the food is pretty consistent. I enjoy going to this Rubio's which does a good job of putting out good food. The salsa bar is refreshed more often to other locations which is a plus. The original fish taco is my go to and the food always seems fresh.

The food is always great but this was a known fundraiser night and they did not have enough personnel to accommodate the traffic. Only one cashier and server. Line was out the door. Two more people would have been great since most of the orders were take out.

Rubio's has a different "spin off" on their food. Its definitely NOT anything like the REAL Mexican Food. I think its ok, but probably not where we would go to again.

$25 for the shrimp trio plate, a Pacifico, chips and beans.

Both were basically just all rice and beans, very little shrimp or asada, barely any guacamole, I should have opened up the tortillas and took pictures. Street tacos and street corn were good, and would eat them again, it had the corn and asada. But not our burrito. Spent about $50 for just rice, beans and little guacamole. Place wasn’t really that busy. It seems like they forgot to add shrimp and asada to our burritos. Update: Found the leftover my son didn’t finish the next morning in the car. Pictures:

Used to love this place but it's gone downhill, soda fountain with heavily diluted soda, cheese being substituted with lettuce, stale tortillas, undercooked chicken and churros without any cinnamon or sugar. Steer clear of this place.

When Rubio's first opened here in Mission Bay it was the best but I recently ate there the quality of the product has changed flavor is just not like it was.

Sorry to say the worst Rubio's I've been to in a while. They don't tend to the patio at all - pretty gross. Hope the kitchen is cleaner. Corporate should shop this location once in a while. Prob won't visit again.

food is tasty, but way too pricey. I got the mexican corn bowl with NO protein, but was charged the same amount as if it had protein. I asked why and was told that they put more food in the bowl to make up for lack of protein.... $13.81 I could have gone to Chiptole and had the exact same thing, much larger portion for less than $10. I won't be back.

The prices are ridiculous, especially for knockoff Mexican food. Almost $6 per taco. $3.50 for a small bottle of water . I'm willing to pay for quality but this food does NOT justify the cost at all. TJ tacos in Escondido is 1000% better and are half the price. We should've visited any one of the many Mexican places in town for these prices.

Worst customer service ever. Will not go to this Rubio's ever again. They messed up our whole order and when I called to get our replacement order at a later date I was told they "couldnt find our name". Didnt even sound like the person looked for it or maybe the person we spoke to and complained to after we got home with our order didnt care about making it right. Shame on you Ramona Rubios.

SO UPSETTING, I gave my husband money to pick me up lunch. I went to THEIR link listed above (see above posted link) for the lunch and price menu. Apparently they haven't updated in awhile. Needless to say I made to sure to print out the menu and send my husband with the money, just in case. Turns out they wouldn't honor THEIR own prices. I am so disappointed that they wouldn't honor the $2.50 cent difference. IT WAS THEIR OWN MENU. I feel cheated.. I guess I can buy my lunches from somewhere else then since I can't trust that their menu is up to date or even honest about their pricing... So fair warning to everyone else, their menu is wrong, and they wont honor the prices. Besides the $2.50 issue, it's also considered fraud, false advertising, and totally illegal. But that's ok, they are apparently above the law.

This location used to be great, however my last 4 orders have had issues. from missing dressings, to missing items, to uninformed substitutions. The only redeeming quality is the willingness to fix/refund issues. However I would like to be able to order food and get what I ordered, and if a substitution needs to be made that I'm given options, not just handed what someone thought was OK. I hate to be so harsh, but it's deserved at this point. tonight I asked for the owners info and could not get that, only the area manager, maybe they are the same person. I left a message now lets see if I get a call back.

The tacos have become mostly fried coating with almost little fish. Service remains good though understaffed resulting in less sanitary conditions. I will miss this food option when they eventually shut down thanks to Biden and Newsome blunders.
