I pretty much order the same sandwich off the menu everytime, the club sandwich. I have had most of the menu but man that sammy is bomb. My wife gets the Tom turkey sandwich she seems to like that one alot. Everyone there is polite and professional. They also have a app and point system to earn free stuff.

I have been to this location a few times and the food and service are always fabulous. I do not live in the area but when I am out that way I intentionally head to this deli to have a meal because the experience is always so pleasant

The Italian sandwich is awesome. -1 point because the gal who made my sandwich got my request backwards. I asked for "minus tomato and peppercini's", but that is all she put on it!! I get a limited amount of time for my lunch break, and did not have the time to drive all the way back there and get a new sandwich made.

I've been to quite a few Mr Pickles throughout the area, The girls at this shop must be having a bad day. The first thing I hear come out of the young lady's mouth is that she hasn't taken a break and she needs to take a break. She then asked another associate to see if she would cover for a minute so she can take a break and the other one just blew her off. Then she decided to take my order and I tried to make light of the situation and she was quite rude. Get these girls some help. Or maybe they need a better team captain.

I loved my Italian sandwich but my wife hated her meatball sandwich. Food preparer was excellent; very accommodating to our wishes.

I was in last Wednesday around noon. The service was amazing. They were all very friendly and our food came out super fast!

Tasty sandwiches, large menu selection. Skip the line, order online - you'll be in and out in moments. Great idea for grabbing lunch on a workday. Free pickle on Fridays if that's your thing.

Been here a couple of times. Got the "Italian" both times. Everything was good, no complaints, but should use more interesting Italian meats besides salami. Nothing else about this was "Italian."

The Dutch bread is so good! They have an awesome and large selection of cold and hot sandwiches. They also have salads. There are tables inside and out and the service is fast and friendly.

My husband had a craving for sandwiches, specifically from Mr. Pickles. He had an Italian sub at work the other day during a meeting, and it was really good, so he's been craving it ever since. Sort of tired of using the "convenient" web ordering and showing up at pick-up time and having to wait for them to make my order....thought that was why I ordered on-line to avoid the wait. Also, the Chicken Salad here is a 1 compared to Elk Grove which gets a 5! Its liumpy, the sandwich falls apart, while they do it RIGHT in Elk Grove.

We ordered 13 sandwiches for pick up at 1130am. They weren't ready on time but we weren't too pressed for time. I can't say if it was good since my sandwich got contaminated by river rafting water ( to no fault of this establishment)! The cookies per order is always a nice touch. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I walked in and got told that if I’m ordering in person then I have to wait 10 mins before I can be helped. When it was time to order they were out of sourdough rolls and only had one Dutch crunch left. So I pretty much had to take what they had. Only have one employee working all the time almost ensures bad service. Won’t be returning to this location.

Update: 3/7/25 Compared to my last review, we had a better experience at this Mr. Pickles. The staff member was alone, but he was quick with greeting us and making our sandwiches. There were a few times when he needed clarification, and he wasn't afraid to ask to make sure. I appreciated that, especially because we've had our sandwiches made incorrectly in the past. **** The food is always good at this Mr. Pickles, but the service and atmosphere have been lacking. Whenever we first come in, the employees ignore us and have some kind of silent conversation until one finally agrees to help us. Also, the music is so loud that it's difficult to communicate. Three times now, we ordered something on the side, like a whole pickle or pickles on the side, and the employees forget. They never check in with us to make sure our order is accurate before ringing us up. I guess it's on us for assuming the workers know how to check the order... Of course, since we don't eat here that often, we forget to double check and then realize the extras weren't added until we had already left. This comment is more nitpicky, but the service is slower than average shops. The employees take their time making the sandwiches, resulting in a 10-minute wait while they make two sandwiches. Everyone in my family, including me have worked at some kind of sandwich shop over the last few years, and we were always drilled in the importance of making a quick but accurate sandwich. Again, I guess it's on us for assuming we could get quick service. Lastly, the tables and chairs aren't comfortable. Recently, they switched from booths to tables, which makes sense because they save more space. Every table but one is tall, requiring people to sit in the matching tall chairs. However, the chairs are really slippery and aren't body inclusive. I felt like I was hanging on for dear life while trying to eat my sandwich out of fear of slipping off. I don't plan on eating inside again.

Made an order for my company, they forgot a wrap and all the cookies. The guy hung up on my manager when he called to get it fixed, didn't make the wrap correctly. The only thing good about this place was the lady that helped me when I got there to pick up the forgotten sandwich.

Staff doesn't wear masks. Quality seems to have gone way downhill. And I never understood why Mr. Pickles trains staff to try and collect all the sandwich details up front when they clearly can't remember it unless you're getting the works. Just wait and ask me when you're ready. Didn't even get it right even though you made me repeat it 3 times.

The sandwiches are decent. However I must say, it seems like you’re an inconvenience. The customer service aspect is really nonexistent, and really feels awkward and uncomfortable. They have the music playing so loud I can’t hear what they’re asking me, and then When I am asking them to repeat what they’re saying they seem to be irritated. I am new to this company I have only purchased here for myself three times, so I am still learning at the menu. It may be helpful to have the music at a regular volume so that way people on the other side of the counter can order properly.

I was not at all happy with my experience here. I received my order but immediately noticed it was missing something. The person who helped me insisted it was not supposed to be included but management corrected him. Great. Problem then became getting them to fix it. They would not touch my sandwich until they cleared all the customers who came in after that. They made a mess of my sandwich trying to fix it. By the time I got it back, it was time to go back to work. Thanks for nothing. Sandwiches aren't bad but, not worth the price. Been going the Rancho Cordova (on Zinfandel) store for a few years now. I usually order online and always to go. I still enjoy the quality of the sandwiches. However, I'm noticing a drop in value and service. Sandwich sizes have become smaller, same price. My last online order was 5 minutes late, despite the fact I ordered during non-peak hours (close to 2pm). The sides I ordered (potato and mac salad) looked old and the choice was slim. Then even with a large pick-up order, they always put the cookies I order at the BOTTOM of the bag! Luckily I checked my last order and was able to exchange one of the broken "casualties" . I was told by a worker, "Management tells us to always pack them (cookies) that way." Store was dirty as well. Empty booth tables hadn't been cleaned (during a slow time near 2pm) and the floor underneath the rolling chip rack looked like someone had rolled the cart through fecal matter. Though it's nearby, I think I'm done with this place...

Absolutely horrible attitude from employees. I would never eat there again. Huge attitude. Wish a manager was there. Actually I will be sure to contact whom I need to for the lack of quality customer service. All u can here is them complain about other employees. Gossiping about other workers and getting loud with customers for not hearing their question on what kind of bread they want. Very aggressive attitude. Not appropriate for a place of service.

Not Mr. Pickles in general, just this location. Terrible service, and I dont say that lightly. Customer service can be tough, so I tend to be quite forgiving, but this really was pretty bad. This location has become the family joke of where we are NOT going.... I will give it a few months and try it again in case they've hired new staff or better trained the ones they have. When we got there on a Sunday around noon, it wasn't super busy. The young lady that took my order had offered a bread selection that was not available, while telling me that there would be a wait for bread I originally asked for (sourdough). So, I opted for another only to be told that was unavailable and that the sourdough was available..??? what? Not a big deal. She asked me a couple of times what of their "everything list" I wanted on my sandwich. It was simple, everything except pickles & extra mustard. I had ordered a specialty sandwich - turkey, avocado, bacon, sauce. As she is starting it, she whispers to her co worker that I didn't say which size I wanted, but she never asked me......hmmm. Again, not a huge deal, I'll take whichever size she decided to make. (Told you! I'm pretty forgiving, figuring maybe she was new) I went and found a table with our drinks, while they finished making the sandwiches. When my lunch partner came to the table with our sandwiches, I discovered mine had nothing on it but meat, mustard and sauce. I returned to the counter and nicely told the other girl that they had left off all the stuff I had asked for including the stuff that came in that specialty sandwich. She was nice and apoligized. I again indicated I wanted everything but pickles. Many more people had come in since we did, and now there was a line. While this young lady was fixing my sandwich, I noticed how slowly the other girl moved - sloth like. This girl comments to the other, that there are a lot of people, but continues to move very slowly. I hope she was just new, not sure......I finally get my sandwich, which was decent - after I picked out the pickles! Ugh! If they were new (especially the one), it was poor management that left them working alone during a weekend lunch time. Like I said, I'll give it another shot in a few months and hopefully be able to update my review with something positive.

Don’t come here unless you want food poisoning!!! I got it here not once but BOTH times I have visited. Not to mention the black lady working there has the grossest nails and she was the one to make my food…… Workers were slow and lacked energy Customer service and food sucked!!!

Consistently, this place get's your order wrong. For the third time, it's happened again. We place a 3 sandwich to go order. 2 of the 3 were wrong. LISTENING skills are needed badly at this location! You're making sandwiches; it's not that hard. TOGO's anyone?

Very poor customer service. A sandwich wasn't made right, I took it back and Misty was very rude. To be honest, she was very rude from the get go.

Terrible customer service. Walked in, nobody greats you, lady just stands at cashier doing nothing. Guy working making sandwiches seams majorly confused. Makes customer wrong sandwich etc. He helps Another customer that walks in way after me. I ask if I am going to get helped? The other lady working there seams to have attitude after I say I will go somewhere else. I hope employees realize that there paycheck comes from customers. It’s not like the sandwiches are cheap at this place. Employees need to work on customer service skills.

Mr pickles has been a favorite of mine for years now, I always come whenever I’m in town. But this location is the worst service I have ever gotten. I came in last Saturday and was served with attitude, a messy sandwich, and terrible customer service. The workers here seem like they hate their job, they’re slow at what they do and when you ask for extras they give attitude like they don’t want to do it. My food was poorly bagged and my cookie was too hard to even bite into. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would, do NOT come to this location , waste of money and time!

The three people working at the location last night did not say anything to me till after they were done cleaning the back counter off with a dirty rag then throwing the rag in the sink, and then they asked if I was ready for them to make my sandwich dirty hands and all. I asked if they still had bread for my sandwich because my last visit they were out and did not get a sandwich. I was told that they stock a little bit of bread so they don't have to throw it away because it almost closing time. I asked for the manager he said he was the manager and I should tell the owner my problems. You should go somewhere else if you have a chance. Jeff
