For sides, we had the Truffle Mac N Cheese, Jalapeno Potato Au Gratin, and an order of fries. Their fries are fantastic! We finished off our meal with a shared lava cake for the table and a few after dinner drinks. Food is delicious and fresh. Recommend reservations since it gets busy. The deviled eggs and the Laguna bowl are delicious. Laguna bowl has the daily catch as the protein. Try the brussels and burrata which was delightful with the savory brussels the silky burrata. The other entrees are the crispy salad and the natural bowl. The desserts are great to share since they are great portions. Desserts pictured are the berry cheesecake, warm butter cake, and carrot cake.

From start to finish we had a great time. The ambience is very friendly. During this time of lackluster customer service, you’ll find excellent customer service here at Hanna’s. The food is decent—I would recommend the ceviche. You’ll enjoy it.

Finally made to Hanna's after we moved to the area. Classic feeling of a superior American restaurant and the food and impeccable service lived up to the expectations. Started out with the ahi tuna Tower. It was good,. not wow. But the main courses dictated the 5 star rating, along Stephanie's service. Great steak (wife had filet mignon) and I had the catch of the day halibut - with a parmesan jalapeno crust and corn risotto. Both dishes were outstanding. Wine selection is great and house cocktails are also very good and nicely presented. Definitely a 5 star rating experience. Will come back

What an amazing restaurant is it a second time I’ve been here and both times it was with clients and it was a wonderful meal. Great wine selection but more importantly, the ambience and the service was impeccable. The amount of attention that the staff provided was a perfect blend. They apologize anytime they interrupted and more importantly their timing was good always making sure the glasses were full, and that everybody felt they were receiving the proper amount of attention, we will be back as this is becoming our go to place for business meals On July 5th 2003 i along with my client and 2 of my colleagues had dinner at Hannas in the wine room. Our waiter was Stephanie, who provided the right balance of service, attention Flash Global, and made lucrative recommendations for wine, appetizers, and main course. The best part was Stephanie’s demeanor. As I had one vegetarian who flew in from Houston, a new visitor from India who just moved to the USA, who ate seafood and of course two carnivores, who love a great steak and we ordered the Wagyu fillet as a main course. We had a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon by David Hanna. It was a 2021 it was delightful and a perfect pairing with our meal. In addition, we had wonderful appetizers to complement our main course ending with two different types of desserts, both of which were huge the wine room, and the ambience of the entire evening was perfect for both business and pleasure, and gave us an opportunity to spend some time with our valued client who lives in the area. I flew in from San Francisco and was very happy and will be back again thank you Stephenie for being a great waiter.

Once you are seated in one of the different atmosphere environments, you will feel right at home just by the accommodations. Servers are constantly swirling around and easy to get the attention. Take a step around the restaurant and see the huge wine room they have. I play a game with the ladies to see if they can point out any variety of wines and champagnes. This spot is highly recommended.

Lived in RSM for over 30 years and feel almost embarrassed for never going here before, but first time here tonight for our wedding anniversary, and completely blown away by the outstanding food, atmosphere, and service. We will be coming back very soon!

I had an incredible experience at Hanna’s! Not only is it rare to find a steakhouse that’s seed oil free, but the service here truly went above and beyond. I showed up without a reservation when they were fully booked, but thanks to the kindness of Kate at the front, they were able to fit me in before my movie. My server, Zach, was outstanding — attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, and it felt great knowing they prioritize clean ingredients. I am just flabbergasted with this place. I have been to many steakhouses in the past and none of them compare to Hannah’s. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by many waiters and waitresses. The food was absolutely flawless. Lastly, the service delivered from the staff was spectacular! Don’t be fooled by the narrow L-shaped dining room. All seats are good when the food is this good. Had a great bottle of red wine and enjoyed my strip steak. We were celebrated a birthday and they brought out a complimentary desert with a candle. Then! They gave me a $35 gift card when I left! I’ll be back!

We asked to sit out on the patio so we could talk and catch up since the main dining area near the bar was a bit too loud for us. I ordered the Burrata + Brussels to start. I really liked it, but my friend wasn’t a fan of the crispy Brussels leaves, she prefers them served whole. For my main, I had the Ahi Tower and thought it was delicious and just the right portion. She got the house salad and enjoyed it. Service was great, friendly, fast, and checked in on us without being overbearing. Overall, a great first visit experience. I’d definitely come back to try more of their other dishes.

We started with drinks and a cup of their amazing filet mignon soup. My wife ordered the organic chicken tacos, and I had the crunchy chicken salad. We also saw other amazing servers, and they stopped by to say hello. This restaurant is one of our favorites, and the staff here makes a huge difference as they are all kind and love people, and the food and drinks are stellar. We had a nice time talking about our weekend and monthly plans as well as the upcoming Valentines Day Dinner. We started with Drinks and Alec our bartender and server did a great job with my wife's Don Julio Blanco, club soda, three limes muddled and mint and of course a generous pour of my Austin Hope red wine. The place was packed, and we so enjoyed chatting with fellow bar patrons. Alec took our food order, and my wife had two grilled fish tacos with a Caesar salad, and I had the Sea Bass entree with mushroom risotto and sautéed spinach. Oh, so good. After a few drinks, we finished the evening with Gelato and a cup of coffee. What a great meal and awesome night. Great people, food, and service! We started with drinks and each thoroughly enjoyed a cup of butternut squash soup, which was splendid, so tasty. My wife and I both ordered the crab stuffed sole over risotto. The meal was amazing, and the service off the charts and ambiance quite positive and pleasant. Highly recommended.

First time here! Made a reservation for 5 pm! Not too busy, and we were sat in the dining room. I brought my mom for a late Mothers Day dinner (such a bad son), and we were both happy with the experience. We started with the meatballs as an appetizer - $20, and I ordered my usual very light dirty Martini. I was happy to hear that they have Tito Tuesdays, so my Martini was only $10!! My mom's Entree was the Togarashi Scallops - $50, and I ordered the Short Rib - $40. Very flavorful, rich, and tender! I really enjoyed the risotto with the scallops. It was Serrano infused and really, really good! I almost wanted to put the risotto with the short rib as a meal! We ended our meal with the butter cake! Nice hefty serving of ice cream, too! Our Server Sydney was professional and attentive! Great service! Would definitely want to try a few more items on the menu next time! Will be back!

Hanna’s Restaurant & Bar continues to be one of the most consistently reliable dining experiences in Rancho Santa Margarita. We’ve been multiple times, and it is always the same—good food and great energy. What truly stands out is the service. It is consistently impeccable, every single visit. No matter how busy the restaurant is, we have never been disappointed by the level of attentiveness, professionalism, or care. The hostess team also deserves special recognition. Even on occasions when I’ve forgotten to make a reservation, they are always gracious, upbeat, and genuinely happy to find a way to fit us in. That welcoming attitude sets the tone for the entire experience. Overall, Hanna’s delivers exactly what you want in a go-to restaurant: consistency, quality, and exceptional service.

I was there day 20+ years ago when he first opened. Been there hundreds of times from simple meals to back room parties. We have never been disappointed. Dave and his team are a template for epicurean perfection. Last night they were busy with an event, but our service was very good. I had the Branzino with Lemon Bur Blanc sauce. My lovely wife had the Wagyu Meatballs. She is still talking about it. Let’s go another 20 years.

First time visiting this week for my birthday dinner and it was amazing! We were seated in the Wine Room and it felt very intimate. Emma was very attentive to us all night and had a great drink recommendation. Filet Mignon was cooked really well. Definitely will return.

We’ve lived in the area a while and all our friends tell us to come here. The past few times we’ve driven by there has been a line so tonight we showed up early for dinner. Ryan was our waiter and he was professional and on point all night. Angel took over at one point and spoke with us a bit about the good wifey had a question about. I had the ribeye and she had the filet mignon, both cooked to perfection and delicious. The scalloped potatoes were amazing as well. Tho finish up we had the butter cake it left us with a great tase. We will for sure be back to try a few more items on the menu. I forgot to mention martini Mondays….. 13 dollar martinis. Everything was exceptional, food, atmosphere, and service. Love supporting a local family business.

I have been to this anchor restaurant in our community many times. Food is always excellent and service is outstanding. Great place to have some fun at the bar or settle in and have a quiet dinner with your spouse or friends. Hanna's is a great leader in our community as they support many different endeavors.

Great place. Food is always top notch and service is exceptional. Nothing on the menu is bad, but my favorite item on the menu is the risotto. Not sure I even knew what risotto was before coming here years ago. Now I've had it at many high end Italian restaurants, but none are as good as Hanna's. Perfect flavor and consistency. All variations are good, but they will make a Serrano chili risotto if you ask, and that is the best I've found.

I was there day 20+ years ago when he first opened. Been there hundreds of times from simple meals to back room parties. We have never been disappointed. Dave and his team are a template for epicurean perfection. Last night they were busy with an event, but our service was very good. I had the Branzino with Lemon Bur Blanc sauce. My lovely wife had the Wagyu Meatballs. She is still talking about it. Let’s go another 20 years.

We’ve been multiple times, and it is always the same—good food and great energy. What truly stands out is the service. It is consistently impeccable, every single visit. I have been to this anchor restaurant in our community many times. Food is always excellent and service is outstanding. Great place to have some fun at the bar or settle in and have a quiet dinner with your spouse or friends. Hanna's is a great leader in our community as they support many different endeavors.

We’ve lived in the area a while and all our friends tell us to come here. The past few times we’ve driven by there has been a line so tonight we showed up early for dinner. Ryan was our waiter and he was professional and on point all night. Angel took over at one point and spoke with us a bit about the good wifey had a question about. I had the ribeye and she had the filet mignon, both cooked to perfection and delicious. The scalloped potatoes were amazing as well. Tho finish up we had the butter cake it left us with a great tase. We will for sure be back to try a few more items on the menu. I forgot to mention martini Mondays….. 13 dollar martinis. Everything was exceptional, food, atmosphere, and service. Love supporting a local family business.

We celebrated our parents 50th anniversary here last night. The food, service and setting were all outstanding and made for a perfect evening. Thank you very much to the team here for helping me get our group booked via email. I appreciated everyone’s help. Such a delicious meal! We will be back!!

First time coming here with friends that really like Hanna's. I would describe it as more of a steakhouse type of restaurant although they do have a wide variety of menu items. Atmosphere is typical dimmed lighting and heavy decor. Our booth had high benches with spongy cushions that were kind of difficult to get into especially if you're short as my wife is. Once settled it was fine. Service was good, knowledgeable and helpful. Almost anyone could find something on the menu they would enjoy here. We were in a group of four. For starters we had the Ahi tower (good but overpriced) and the flat bread which was like a very simple pizza and it was good. For entrees our group had the salmon, Paleo bowl, steak salad and kabobs. They were all very good with the exception of the steak kabobs. I wouldn't order that again. Steak was overdone and not much flavor. The steak salad on the other hand was excellent. Really good dressing and plenty of steak. Highly recommend this. The salmon dish was exceptional and the Paleo bowl was really good. Pricing is what I would consider pretty normal for a better quality restaurant if this type. Menu items varied from $15 to over $50. We didn't get drinks and our bill for four was right near $150.

Drinks: 5/5 Salad: 5/5 (chopped arugula) Thats what I got and it was great cant complain. Service: 10/10 everyone was very friendly and welcoming. And they're busy. Typically you see a falter in character under pressure but the staff does a wonderful job of staying composed.

Excellent service and the food is good. The acoustics are a shame. It’s so loud you can’t really talk with others at your table. If you dampened the room just a bit the atmosphere wouldn’t sound like a busy bus station.

Great meat and excellent service! I ordered the bone-in ribeye and some desserts. While I’ve had ribeyes that were even better, the quality here was still very good. I really liked that the sauces were complimentary. I tried the béarnaise and chimichurri, both delicious. Drinks were also on point. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu.

Way too loud. Couldn't carry on a conversation. The wine room had the atmosphere of a cheap dining room.

Arrogant waitress brought me wrong meal. No apologies just wait for new one. I left this place because of disrespectful behavior. Then she was begging me to return and to give me bonus. You better find yourself drama free employees who can write down orders correctly and pay a little bit of courtesy when they do mistakes. Service as in next to the road eatery. Do not recommend. Toilets dirty as well.
