Visited this little shop on 2/27/22. I was initially impressed with the proprietors, a husband and wife team who are smart enough to know that people want a pklace to go and get a good cup of coffee and relax without all the corporate trappings. This coffee was great and the conversation was excellent! Definitely will be back-thank you!

Cute shop with yummy iced coffee. Lots of different drinks on the menu with alternative milk options (e.g. oat). Didn't try the ready made food but they had a nice selection of wraps/burritos/pastries. Plenty of seats, bathroom and lots of locals with some art for sale on the walls. Overall has a nice community feel.

This is one of the cutest places ever. My family stopped here on a road trip and it was amazing. Phenomenal coffee, delicious ice teas, scrumptious burritos, but the service is the absolute best. Best people, best coffee, best vibes. 10/10

Was trying out local coffee shops and stumbled across this one and I have become obsessed. It’s my new favorite coffee spot and I make my fiancé go with me all the time. The baristas are always super friendly and the environment is so cozy/welcoming. I always get an iced mocha because I am fixated on them right now but my fiancé has tried their redbulls iced/blended, hot coffee, a frappe, and smoothies and has enjoyed all. We’ve also tried some pastries and breakfast and it was pretty good! They also do stamp cards so you can eventually get a free drink and I absolutely LOVE that as someone who keeps coming back. Definitely recommend:)

This is the cutest coffee shop, and the coffee is delicious! We were visiting from Va Beach, VA, heading to Mt. Shasta and popped in for a quick pick- me-up. So glad we did! The perfect spot with friendly service! We didn't get food but it all looked so yummy! Highly recommend going here!

Old Shasta Coffee Company is hands down one of my favorite spots in the area. The coffee is consistently smooth and flavorful - you can tell they actually care about what they’re serving. Whether you’re grabbing something quick or sitting down for a bit, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy, and they make the whole experience feel personal. I also love the variety of options - not just great espresso drinks, but solid breakfast items and treats too. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back regularly. Definitely a local gem.

Visited from out of town and our Airbnb host recommended it. They were so friendly and answered all my silly questions. They had a wonderful selection of drinks and food for such a small coffee shop! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Old Shasta is my favorite local coffee shop. Great coffee and a decent selection of breakfast/lunch. If your looking for a full-on meal, I'd go elsewhere, but for something quick and light, it's great! Love this place.

After a nightmare of a lodging situation and befuddling car trouble on the first day of our road trip, we found ourselves in Redding, CA in need of a place to regroup while we significantly revamped our plans. Looking for vegan offerings and seduced by excellent reviews, we made our way to Old Shasta Coffee Company where we found everything we needed to recharge our weary bones. Despite being quite busy - and on a Friday morning before 9am! - the staff were extremely kind and hospitable, refilling my water bottle for me as well as allowing me to get coffee in my own thermos. The vegan burrito was filling, fresh, and DELICIOUS. And we were grateful for the clean bathroom too. It was lovely to spend some time there and see the happy patrons coming in and out and hanging out. I don’t live in the area but I would certainly return if I find myself nearby in the future. Thanks for everything, OSCC!

Old Shasta is my favorite local coffee shop. Great coffee and a decent selection of breakfast/lunch. If your looking for a full-on meal, I'd go elsewhere, but for something quick and light, it's great! Love this place.

My wife and I really like Old Shasta Coffee Shop! Great atmosphere to just hang out and enjoy a good conversation and great coffee! They also make a great breakfast sandwich. Our new coffee hangout! Service is exceptional!

Really fun local Redding atmosphere, great spot to come and get some work done- for the most part. I'll give two reasons why I did four stars and not the full 5, but take it with a grain of salt as I've only been there once: 1. The atmosphere has amazing potential, but when I was there, the baristas spoke loudly to one another in tones that carried throughout the shop while working. Complaining and gossiping, a LOT. About other workers, things about dishwashing, orders. The worst was they commented to one another on customer orders, laughing to one another at a combination a customer ordered and loudly expressing (not positive) opinions about it while making it. I would recommend training baristas on awareness of their influence on coffee shop atmosphere. Not to not speak- I appreciate the joy and fun, but maybe avoiding anything that comes across as gossip would be wise. Currently, you'd need headphones to not be distracted by it. The positives: amazing smells from the kitchen whenever they heated up a food order. Good coffee shop work music. Cozy set up with great seating choices. Editing to add: It's worth mentioning also that the baristas ARE warm and welcoming, great service! 2. I walked in expecting better prices, based on how they market themselves, only to be met with an extra $1.25 for alt milks. I have always been confused by alt milk upcharges- not that there is one, but at how high it is, and this one was more than anywhere else I've payed. It's unfortunate for those of us who genuinely cannot have lactose, that we have to pay that much more for our health. Unless they are making their alt milks in house with very clean ingredients (which if they were they need to advertise and I would happily pay for it) the level of upcharge was disappointing. I would like to believe they've done their research and are charging what they believe to be reasonable and fair to us and them. Most local coffee shops do and genuinely care, and I have no reason to believe this one is any different. My suggestion is to look into other suppliers? See if there is a way to bring it down to $.75-$1 if it's a more premium brand, $.50 if it's a more cost effective one. Overall, it was a nice coffee shop.

Cute little spot!! Had 16oz cold brew with foam and paid $8.25 i think too much for coffee with foam! They do have some sandwiches I didn’t have the food but it looked good.
