Their teas are so delicious. One of the best Thai teas I’ve ever had, and I LOVED the greaser. The vibe is super cool and the owner is very friendly. Love! One of my new favorite places!

Amazing tea bar. All teas are always made to order, they’re not too sweet, and they use high quality ingredients. The herbs and flavor of their tea is strong too, but not over powering. Don’t even get me started on the bagels, toast, baled goods, and protein balls . DELICIOUS!! I come here every Sunday on my days off from work and order the rocker tea with an original açaí bowl. It’s amazing. Definitely plan to bring my fiancé here once he comes back from deployment. 😊

I am in love and so despondent I can’t get more till my next trip. I highly recommend trying their tasting tray, and if you love caffeine the Greaser was fabulous! My partner doesn’t drink any caffeine and enjoyed their secret menu and options without it. Everything was perfect!

Had a Cold Puff iced coffee and fell in love. it was the sweetest most delicious thing i have ever drank and i dont even like coffee!! They are pet friendly Its dark in there but i like the vibess.

Imagine Hunter S. Thompson opened the greatest tea bar ever.. it had Vegas dive bar flavor with a cool beach vibe.. super unique, awesome friendly folks, and the drinks are so good all the locals love this place. Located on Catalina and Ave I almost right on the beach this is a great spot to grab a beverage and then enjoy the ocean literally steps away. The names of the drinks give you a hint that they are unique and special.. the quality and freshness stand out.. and the flavors are as unique as the venue. Racer also have coffee, acai bows, a toast bar... you really just have to check this place out for yourself because a review doesn't give you enough flavor. If you know the story the owner used to sell the tea out of his van... and all the character is there in the shop too. Racer Tea can never be duplicated.. the anti corporate, anti chain, anti establishment coolest tea place ever.

August 2025 update: Today I met the owner Chad, who was very nice and gave us recommendations My friend ordered the CHERRY LIME RICKEY, a soda from the 1910s. Only a few of the staff know how to make this drink and fortunately Chad was here on this day to make one! One can only order this drink to drink at Racer Tea Bar, ( not to go). I ordered a Peach Rooibos ice tea which was slightly sweetened with honey. The Cherry Lime Rickey arrived in a chilled tall glass and beautifully presented ( see photos).i got a sip of this refreshing soda with a ZING! I really liked it. We also bought several of their "hand pies" to go for later. These pies are sweet, made with blueberries, lemon and cardamom. I waited to eat mine when I got home, and it was heavenly; not too sweet, and oh so tasty for dessert. These blueberry hand pies sell quickly and now I know why! Thank you Chad and the staff at Racer Tea Bar! You made our day! JULY 2025 Great cute cozy tea and food restaurant! We arrived near closing time, so we ordered quickly which was hard because their tea menu is extensive. The staff was very kind and patient and offered suggestions. I ordered the "off the menu" item which is usually served cold, but since I was chilly from the ocean breeze, I had my Peach Emoji Rooibos drink/ hot. It was delicious! I looked at their food menu and their avocado toast looked delicious! The owner and staff are all very friendly. The signage outside is not easily visible, as this tea cafe is next to a dental office and bicycle rental shop! I will definitely stop by here again next time I am in Redondo Beach.

Truly the best tea I have ever had ! The earl grey with lavender aka the Rocker was so beautifully crafted. My husband and I went back the same day because we were so impressed by the quality of the tea. It was such a delightful experience to have tea here 🫖🍵🤗

My friend got one of their mocktails and it was really good! I get The Punk tea, they’ve explained it to me many times but I never remember what’s in it. This places is great if you’re just looking for strong tea or a bar atmosphere without the alcohol. The staff are chill and the prep area is always clean

Love, love LOVE racer tea bar!! I visit my bestie at least once a year and she brings me into her “drinking” routine every time. My last visit I was in town for 2 weeks and I was determined to try as many teas as possible. I tried almost all of them (before the naked teas) and was never disappointed!!! I’m heading back to Redondo in 13 days and it will likely be my first stop upon rising!! The staff is stellar. The vibe is beyond and the owner is the coolest! If I could give infinity stars I would. Fave place in Redondo!!

Was walking by and came across this gem. It is NOT what you expect it just from the outside. Once you step in, you're def in for a treat. Biker vibes, polaroid wall, dark and vibey ambiance, and it even has a bar, that lights up from the flat table side. I ordered The Mod - it's genmai cha oat milk latte with brown sugar. The man takes his time brewing our tea with loose leaf so he tells us it'll be a few min. Hubby got The Greaser, which was good too, but we both liked The Mod better. They also have a bar menu with alcohol that sound really refreshing. I'll be coming back for that next.

Just had the best iced tea of my life here. They recommended adding cold foam to my black iced tea. I'm not a big fan of a sweet drinks, so this combo was a match made in heaven. Everyone working there is also very friendly (and funny!). Will be back!

One word… WOW! Sampled a few drinks and couldn’t pick one (they were all really good), until the worker recommend “The Puff.” Great choice! This is an amazing spot and I will definitely be back. The vibe is great and the people are awesome. Highly recommend it!

Cute tea/coffee cafe. The decor reminded me of Hot Topic store. The tea is great. I got the hot greaser and my cousin had the iced earl grey/lavender/honey. Delicious! You taste all the flavors of each tea. The perfect balance and not one flavor is overpowering. And of course steps away from the beach.

Legendary spot my friends and I go to all the time. The owner has created a new cultural icon in the area. You can tell he put in a ton of passion into this spot. The atmosphere is incredible, the beverages are very tasty, and the spot is a comfortable place to relax. It's worth visiting with your friends. Also, take advantage of the rewards.

This place is a bit hidden but the aesthetic and the atmosphere seems like your in a bar that makes you excited about life if your looking for something different. It’s like a museum in a coffee shop. The people there are nice and welcoming and it’s a place I hope sticks around. Always excited to go back!

A friend recommended this tea bar. It's a hidden gem! Very close to the beach. There's nearby metered street parking available. There are bar seating as well as a few indoor and outside tables. The restaurant has very unique lovely decoration. Ally, the barista, is very welcoming and friendly. She made some recommendation since it was my first time there. I got the Goth....It was very flavorful! IMO, their prices are a bit high for such a small cup. I recommend coming here if you want a good cup of tea.

punk rock, friendly staff, and good tea lattes. very unique vibe. if you’re into boba, you’ll love this place. if you’re a tea connoisseur looking for high quality loose leaf, you might want to try somewhere else edit per reply: although you don’t serve boba here, the style is very similar to milk tea in my opinion, in that most of your stuff is tea with additional flavorings/toppings! people who like this style i think will love your establishment

I had mixed feelings about my visit. I was expecting tea served in a teapot so I could adjust the strength myself, but instead I received a regular English breakfast tea in a mug. When I asked for lemon, I did receive a generous slice, which was a nice touch. However, the main disappointment was the meal. The sourdough bread with avocado didn’t meet my expectations — the avocado mix had a lot of red onion and was quite spicy, which didn’t suit my taste. It didn’t really feel like guacamole. The sun-dried tomatoes were so tough I couldn’t chew them, which was unfortunate. Toasting the bread might have helped improve the texture and overall experience. I understand everyone has different preferences, but in this case, the dish just wasn’t for me. I’ll probably try another place next time. P.S. I really love when owners take the time to read and respond to reviews — that means a lot! I'm sure you're amazing at making tea, it truly shows. As for the guacamole — it’s not just about skipping the onion. I actually love onion in guac, just felt like there was a bit too much this time. It tasted more like an onion dip. But hey, everyone’s got different tastes, and it’s great that some people enjoy it that way!
