Some of the best Georgian and Russian food in NYC. Everything I've had here is bursting with flavor and the soups never disappoint. Fried pelmeni from the side orders is my favorite appetizer and the boneless chicken breast Shish Kabob is some of the best chicken I've eaten in my entire life. While not "cheap" everything on the menu is great value. It's one of the most affordable restaurants in the city and the quality is amazing.

We have spent 3 days in Queens and all three days are food from this establishment. Everything was savory, cooked well and not expensive. We also used uber delivery service - the food came on time.

Wow!!! This was the BEST place I’ve been to for kabobs. Every single one of them were cooked to perfection. Charred on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The salads were incredible. Perfectly seasoned. I’m a personal chef and to find a place that I actually enjoy is hard to come by. This place…. Is THE place.

Honestly have been here 30 or so times and it is legitimately the best food I have found in NYC. Their Chicken Kebabs are insanely juicy and all of their sides and pastries are absolutely wonderful. It is also fairly priced with each of these delicious chicken kebabs coming out to $3. Anyway, I can’t say enough good things about this place. I think they got some bad reviews during covid times because they weren’t enforcing mask mandates that hard but like the cleanliness and quality of their food has always been top notch. Anyway they are an excellent restaurant and always worth the trip and I intend to go there as many times I can.

Incredible experience eating out here with friends with lots of food options that are just completely delicious. We had four people in the group so we got a lapioshka, cheborekye, samsy, fresh salad pelimeni soup to start and for the main course chicken wings, lamb ribs and garlic french fries. The food was delicious and well seasoned. My friends told me how they have young Mexicans who speak Russian working down stairs carving out the meat. I thought that was hilarious there was more said that I would not care to share here cuz it's going to sound crazy.

Utterly delicious food at very palatable prices. Service is polite and quick enough and the place is clean enough. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Queens.

This was a fun novelty. I didn't know NYC has a Uzbeki neighborhood. Had the chebureki with meat (fried dough stuffed with lamb and beef), the goshtgizdha (baked dough stuffed with lamb), the pelmeni (dumpling soup), and the lulya kebab (made fresh on a charcoal grill, very nicely juicy). All were expertly made. The chebureki and the goshtgizdha were my favorite.

Wow! The meat/kebab/chicken tastes so good! The pickled vegetables so so good, and the special pastry (forgot the name) was crunchy and moist. Delicious

Good food. Inside feels homie. Bathrooms were clean. The kitchen is visible to customers and it’s not hidden like other restaurants. This is a huge bonus because I could see how clean they worked and food was fresh. This place is healthy and safe to eat at. Solid 5 star and I can not say anything bad.

Walking in, you can immediately tell this is a classic neighborhood spot that really holds its weight in the community. The service is warm and efficient, and the food is excellent. I especially appreciated the variety of organ meat kebabs; something you don’t see offered often. Can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in the area.

Delicious cheburek (like samosas), salads, kebabs, bread, and plov. It's clean and spacious. Even though it was busy, the noise level was manageable so we could have a leisurely meal and conversation.

If you love skewers, especially lamb, I really recommend giving this place a try. The prices are low, the portions are big, and most importantly, the flavor is great. The soup is light and refreshing, and the fried items are super crispy. I was honestly surprised by how much meat was packed inside the Goshtgizhda. As a lamb lover, I’m a big fan of this place.

Yum this place is so good! I love the pilaf (regular, not green), cheburek, samsy, lagman soup, and kebabs. The staff is nice and it's never been crowded when I've gone. The portions are HUGE - you will be stuffed and will still need a to-go container. Highly recommend, it's worth the trip.

One of my favorite places in queens. go here. charcoal grilled meats and fish. great green rice pilaf. fantastic grilled lamb ribs. the pelmene soup is beautiful. very nice chicken broth. Chebureki with meat is great. skip the Chebureki with potato it's bland. Goshtgizhda is phenomenal. tried the the brain, it was not good. really crowded on Sundays. you'll find simple, cheap, hot and delicious food here.

Home-style and kosher-friendly restaurant! Fast-paced service and seems to be always busy. They have a wide selection of meats, which is great for meat-lovers! Decently priced and all the dishes are delicious. Everything on the menu is kosher. (If you order the borscht, don’t expect sour cream on top) All the servers were friendly and the service was quick. They have gender neutral restrooms.

Good kosher food at a good price. Nice kebabs and salads. Good tasting fresh ethnic soups. Some days taste better than other but overall it’s always good. If you’re hankering for some tasty ethnic kosher grub then this is your spot. It’s definitely one of the better ones in the area.

Food was incredible. We went for my father's birthday and there was so much variety and all incredible. I had the chicken pelmeni soup and lamb hearts and they were delicious. We also got the assorti salad which is assorted pickled vegetables that were totally worth sharing with the table. Would definitely go back there.

I lived in rego park 10 years ago , ever since, I always come back once for a while !!! My all time fav is fat lamb rib (kebab ) .you have to eat with onion ..many years ago, the provide seasoned onion but now it’s fresh onion !

Nice place, delicious food. Staff is attentive. Called a few times to make a reservation and twice they seated us at the wrong place because they double booked another party. So you kind of sit where its available.

This is a terrific spot for some unique and tasty ethnic food. The prices are reasonable, the dining area is clean, and the staff is polite. My primary criticism is that they make unusual (and sometimes objectionable) decisions about the random YouTube videos they play on their wall-mounted screens throughout the restaurant. If they solve this problem, they get five stars!

This was my first time trying this restaurant, and it was a great experience. We ordered the pilaf rice to share, along with lamb kebabs, lamb ribs with fat, and lamb testicles. The flavors were excellent, especially the kebabs and the ribs with fat. The testicles were tender, chewy, and surprisingly flavorful. My favorite dish, however, was the Goshtgizhda—a round bread filled with diced lamb meat. Absolutely delicious! Overall, this is a wonderful spot for both lunch and dinner.

Interesting place in Rego park. Be ready to have a dinner in pretty much loud atmosphere. Food is good, but not “WOW” how is usually expected from Uzbek restaurants. Girls working there are really nice and friendly.

This a great spot for a quick healthy meal- they have soups, kebabs, fresh salads. Pretty big space I saw the companies of 10-20 people at one table so it’s good for small and big groups. It’s very reasonable priced and they open till late. My favorite was the soup with big piece of lamb. Lamb Kebab was ok. Service was great all nice and accommodating. Parking is street parking- depends on your luck and a day) I would come back.

Food is very good. Would give five stars but bad service. Our waitress did not pay attention to our table, forgot things we asked. I had to go a few times to their station asking for bread, to change plates, etc. I saw lady from other table looking for waitress and then asked for salad. After we finished eating, we wanted for 1.5 hours for somebody to come and clean table and order deserts. Considering service being this bad, even three stars are too generous - only because of good food.

I come to this place pretty regularly, and today I was unpleasantly surprised. Not only have they raised their prices, but they’ve made their portions smaller.

I had dinner with a party of three last night. The food was great. We especially loved the pumpkin samcy. However, our service was basically nonexistent. We were ignored all night and had to call out to waitresses multiple times to get simple things like water, or the check. It was frustrating and disappointing. Also, this may seem like a minor point, but the children’s YouTube videos on the big screens were truly disturbing. They cast an unsettling mood on the whole evening. Why not play something everyone can enjoy?

This place is just not the same as it used to be from long ago. The signature item, Cheburiki, are pretty awful at this point. Over spiced and seasoned, so much so you can taste the meat. The kabobs are decent at best and service is lacking especially during slowdowns. Also it smelled really bad, like the bathroom, even though we were by the door and windows.

We dined in on Thursday night, food was good but the dessert chack chack was dry and not fresh, I told the server blond girl she was rude saying that it is fresh.

Food was ok. Prices are moderate. Service was courteous and quick. Had ordered a dish Green Pilaf from the menu that stated it had chunks of meat but when it came there were no chunks of meat in it. When this was pointed out to the staff, they just said that chunks of meat were in another Pilaf dish. So, not really happy about that.

Don’t really give low rate reviews, but this place disappointed me a bit. The food is very mediocre and greasy. Looks like it was carelessly made and prepared. The fries were filled with grease, the kebabs were burnt, the Lagman soup was a disaster, very poorly made. Literally tasted like salty water. To the owner: we understand you may have a high volume of customers inside, however you should consider modifying your food. People who are first time visitors may not see it the way those who actually tried authentic Uzbek/Bukharian cuisine. May come again to see if it’s improved. Thanks

My main concern was the customer service. The waitress that serves us was not welcoming at all; i dont know if she was having a bad day or was tired, no matter what a waiter/waitress SHOULD make the clients feel comfortable when it comes to accepting and delivering the orders. I personally liked the food, nice chunks of food, not like other restaurants who serve you comparably small portions but it would be better if they marinated the meat longer. Due to the negligence, they forgot to bring some of our orders. We told the waitress, she said "i will look at this" and and called another guy who accepts the orders. He apologized for inconvenience and took care of the matter. As we could not get a hold of our waitress, we asked another waitress to bring the check; she took the money and did not bring the receipt nor the change; it was not a big deal, we would have left it anyway, but for the sake of their reputation, the should have handled the clients professionally. I dont think we will ever go back..

Today, my boyfriend and I visited cheburechnaya, eager to indulge in some Buharian cuisine. Unfortunately, our experience was a letdown, particularly with the cheburechnaya salad, shish kebab, baba ghanoush. Shish kebab, typically a flavorful and tender, usually vibrant flavors of marinated chicken were muted, leaving the dish tasteless. Cheburechnaya salad was a major disappointmen. It lacked the essential spices and herbs that make savory and aromatic. Worse still, it was not fresh undersalted, making each bite bland. The service was friendly, but the staff seemed overwhelmed, leading to slow service. The ambiance was pleasant, with cozy decor, but it couldn't compensate for the subpar food. Our experience fell short of expectations. Hopefully, they will revisit their recipes and improve their dishes to better serve their customers.

Used to come here every weekend and portion size was great and all the dishes were delicious but I came last week again after a while of not going there and the salad was extremely small almost nothing, accept a big avocado and a lemon which was not the salad part. The kebabs are still very good especially the lamb but the borsht has become worse and the chebureki have to much oil falling out of them. We sat near the wall and there was cold air blowing in.

Almost no service at all. They just gave us a pitcher of water and we had to pour it ourselves. While we were still eating, they came and took away our plates and even the skewers from the kebabs. The most frustrating part was that they forced an 18% gratuity on the bill. Were they starving for tips or what?

I was there on Wednesday which was right after the snow storm, the restaurant was extremely cold. We literally sat with out beanies on. Even though the restaurant has nice employees and tasty food, I didn’t like the atmosphere and it was disappointing. And the mandatory tip is unbelievable when the staff just put the pitch at the table and didn’t pour it in the glass

Ordered two plovs and they loaded it with rice and bones with not a single piece of meat. Very disappointing and even insulting. Last time we ever order from them.

The food was alright the only things that were good was the quail and fries but threr not the best.But compared to the whole menu they are the freis were not so good and soggy but was a little better with the ketchup. And the quail had a bad smell to be honest. I've never had food that had not flavor.This place is NOT worth the price we spent 70 dollars and the napkins evan had a stain.There was also like 3 Flys that were like really big flying around and almost sat on the food. Mediterranean Infusion Large menu somewhat confusing , chicken on skewers was under cooked and Poorly seasoned. The hummus was served slapped on a plate. as if it was dog food .The decor Is in desperate need or renovation and there was negative smell in the air. The restrooms had feces all over the toilet bowl seat , floor and sink yes I said the sink!!!! I did not enter the restaurant with much high hopes and left equally disappointed after force feeding myself . I will live never to see the inside again.

Been coming to this place for over 10 years and never coming back again. The staff was so rude when I confronted them.

The food isn’t expensive relatively to other places how ever the quality is average in my opinion had way better but the worst part is the service. I ordered Quil at the end I decided to cancel they stated it’s already on the grill 40 min after my meal it was still not ready than they informed quil isn’t available after I was done paying and my only option was to order something else and wait which I did and anyhow continuous issues.

Great food, horrible service. The staff here on a good day is indifferent. Today I ordered tea, a pilaf, and two kinds of kebab. I never received any water, meanwhile a table across from me received a small pitcher of water. The pilaf came out in a reasonable amount of time, and 20 minutes later, I asked about my kebabs. The person who was answering my questions was clearly on her phone, and did take it away from her head to speak with me, but immediately went back to the phone as soon as she walked away. To make matters worse, she never actually returned with any answers. The other staff gestured that my food was coming soon. When the bill arrived, no apology, no offer to take anything off the bill, or even offer anything as a token of apology. Again, the food is good, the service is awful.

I spent $8 on a pelmeni soup for delivery. They gave me a half pound container, only filling it halfway up. The biggest delivery scam I have seen my whole entire life… would it really be that more expensive to put more broth in there? Come on guys.

We used to come there a lot but the last time was SO disappointing. First we were ignored for 15 min and people who came after us were served. Second the green plov and manti were like 3-4 days old, the meat was dry and old. They forgot to bring us a couple of things but charged for it. No I won't go there again!!

Worst waiters I have ever seen in my life... You have to ask for water, knife and napkin. Kebabs were burnt or raw. They gave me warm beer. When I asked for an ice bucket they said "We are very busy". The waiters take your food before you finish it. You also have to wait a long time for check to pay!

First time dining here. As Slovenian we're very familiar with the food, but this was our worst experience. We ordered pelmeni with chicken (dumplings) and chebureki with chicken it was absolutely terrible. The meat had no taste whatsoever and close to expired. The size of pelmeni is like for a 4 year old (we ordered large). Overpriced as well, and we know what we're talking about since we cook at home. Service was OK. But we would not recommend this place

If you are looking for zero service with a mandatory 18% service charge, this is the place. • Our server barely spoke English, so ordering felt like a guessing game. • Water was dropped on the table in a giant cup, and we were left to serve ourselves. No refills, no check-ins. • While we were still eating, staff couldn’t wait to grab our plates and cutlery — as if rushing us out. • To top it all off, the bill came with a forced 18% gratuity that was never mentioned beforehand. I don’t mind tipping for good service, but charging customers for service that doesn’t exist is unacceptable. Definitely not coming back.
