Well this place was surprisingly great, the pastries were excellent. This is right in the heart of a tourist area so I wasn’t expecting much, but I was very presently surprised buy the pain au chocolaté I ate. Definitely a place to go for breakfast coffee and pastries. Service is fast but not so friendly. Pay at the cashier first and then go to the counter to get your order.

Tutto davvero buono. Cibo favoloso. Peccato perché con una bimba di un anno volevamo andare a mangiare dentro e pioveva verso di noi sotto la galleria perhe c'era vento e ci hanno detto che non possiamo. Dopo 10 minuti hanno fatto entrare tutti dentro ed era pieno anche dentro. Non è giusto e non si fa così. Pietà per i bimbi....

Ristorante situato in una bellissima zona, dentro la Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, a due passi dal Duomo di Milano. I tavoli esterni sono meglio di quelli interni, ma anche dentro la location è curata bene. Cibo buono, nulla di eccezionale, ma gradevole. Servizio preparato, professionale e disponibile. Prezzi un po’ troppo alti, ma per la posizione del ristorante e per la location è comprensibile, anche se i prezzi sono molto spinti. Almeno una volta della vita da provare a mangiare dentro la Galleria Vittorio Emanuele di Milano.

Arrivato a Milano, ho scelto per caso questo bar. Ne sono rimasto piacevolmente soddisfatto, veloce nel servizio ed organizzato bene. Ho fatto la classica colazione, cappuccio e cornetto che promuovo, prezzo nella norma per il posto. Alla cassa si può chiedere il biglietto per usufruire dei servizi igienici, che ho trovato piacere pulito, cosa non facile. Se ti trovi in zona è un punto da prendere in considerazione.

Vari piani con specialità gastronomiche. Ordinato, luminoso pulito. Molto affollato ( era domenica ) . Mi sono dovuta accontentare di mangiare al Burger king. Niente male. L'albero appeso all'ingresso è spettacolare. Rapporto qualità prezzo dipende dal locale in cui scegli di mangiare

Cenato dopo aver fatto il mercatino di Natale, cibo molto buono, personale gentilissimo, servizio celere e molto carino stare nell'area esterna riscaldata per godere della bellezza della Galleria. Unico difetto il prezzo eccessivo delle bevande (€9 per una birra media o €17 per uno spritz ... un po' altino)...

The food there was great, it's a nice place to get lunch or dinner! It was busy and had to wait but not for too long so if you are planning ahead of time I would recommend reserving a table.

Nice place and good service. Staff friendly and professional. We ordered the seafood pasta. The ingredients were fresh, and the dish was decent overall. For Sal de Riso fans, like me, you can find everything you love. A pleasant dining experience.

Nice bar for a quick coffee stop. They also have plenty of sandwiches and bakery items. Their orange juice is very fresh, and their cappuccino is rich. They have a seating area, or you can just stand at the bar.

This place is fancy, definitely not your average 3-star restaurant 😄 If you’re planning to eat here, don’t expect cheap prices (it’s right next to the Duomo and inside Galleria Vittorio, so… you get the idea). If that surprises you, maybe just grab a Big Mac at McDonald’s behind the building 😂 The food was actually really good, we had appetizers. pasta, pizza, burger, salad wine etc BUT the waiters acted kind of rude when we asked for a table. For a second I thought they didn’t believe we could afford it. Too bad… I almost gave 5 stars.

The restaurant is located at the entrance of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Piazza del Duomo. We spent a wonderful afternoon chatting and drinking under the arcade while watching the crowd come and go. The main dish, the roasted salmon, was delicious.

Got seated quickly, food was better than expected considering the location, and staff was exceptional. Would go back again if I find myself in the area. Funny enough, I would highly recommend their burgers. Wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised on how good it was.

We decided to have dinner here after visiting Duomo. Didn't have any wait and was seated quickly. Location is great but food quality is very average. Unfortunately our server was new and didn't understand English very well. Prices are high which is expected for the location. Very limited gluten free options. No gluten free pizza or pasta available.

We visited as a group of three during our short stay in Milan for lunch. Thankfully we were there early and didn’t have to wait to be seated. From the start, the waitress had an extremely judgmental look and a very negative attitude. It didn’t take long to order, however when I pronounced the name of a certain dish wrong, she corrected me with a very rude tone. Food came shortly after and it was incredible to say the least. The carbonara was excellent, best one I’ve ever had and in a satisfying amount. The pizza was also really good. The thing is that as soon as the waitress came with our plates she practically thew them on the table and left without saying anything. We also had to wait long to get the check and got charged 7€ for a tip (despite the horrible service) and a ridiculous price for the bread and water. In total we paid 75€ for two carbonara and a pizza. The location is amazing and that also excuses the price. Overall i think it’s a shame that a restaurant with high potential like this has such terrible and hostile service toward tourists who had a more than kind and patient attitude.

Situato nel salotto storico di Milano, davanti al Duomo e affacciato sulla magnifica Galleria, Motta gode di una posizione unica. Gli spazi sono luminosi, con tavoli sia all’interno che nel dehors. Non solo pasticceria ma anche ristorante. Ho usufruito di una tipica colazione italiana: caffè e croissant.🥐 qualità discreta. Ambiente rumoroso. Esposizione curata di tanti prodotti dolciari. 🥮🍬🍫

Abbiamo fatto colazione qua e abbiamo assaggiato qualche brioche. Le abbiamo trovate mediocri, nella media. Alcune avevano anche poco ripieno. I prezzi sono alti. Sicuramente si possono trovare alternative migliori alla colazione.

Ristorante carino, un pò piccolo, con dei dolci firmati Sal de Riso fantasici!😍 Prezzi abbastanza alti, capisco il luogo ma pizze con quei prezzi anche no.. per una base pinsa surgelata, un pò too much. 30€ per una costoletta con patate!? Dove si poteva migliorare la cottura, 19€ per un risotto alla milanese Sciapo!? Secondo me da rivedere..

We have been in the restaurant part at the terrace side and the place was good... The location of this restaurant is perfect just near the Duomo which gives the big plus... The personnel were nice and professional... The food was made fast but it tasted just OK as we expected it to be better.. The pizza was good the seafood pasta was just OK and the cheesecake was very medium as it needed to be defrosted a longer time.. The prices are a bit high for the food quality tough

Such a shame that I chose this place to visit on my last day in Milan. I had been here for a lunch last year and I must have forgotten how average it is. Superb location in a stunning city but seems to be a tourist trap. The food was average, the minestrone soup tasted life fish(I get it’s a fish restaurant but come on) if this place could take 20% more care about the food with a top chef this place could sing. I doubt I’ll be back

Locale elegante... si ha la sensazione di essere fuori luogo, non all'altezza... magari è così... magari è "riservato" a clienti facoltosi... forse è sempre per lo stesso motivo che ho aspettato davanti la cassa 5 minuti per poter chiedere un caffè ed un cornetto... con un totale di 7 clienti all'interno! Un caffè sotto la media... cornetto buono. Personale indifferente... non ci andrò più.

Che delusione!!! Alle 10 di mattina non hanno il cornetto vegano nonostante era in menù. Caffè arrivato freddo e la fetta di torta dopo 5 minuti. Per il conto ed il nome del bar mi aspettavo di meglio.

Ho ordinato un croissant alla nutella ed era completamente vuoto e freddo! Quando ho fatto notare questo mi hanno risposto che è normale che sia così quansi aggedendomi verbalmente! Pessima qualità del cibo ed altrettanto per il servizio. Consiglio di non passarci se non si vuole rimanere delusi. Inoltre guardando le altre recensioni non sono l'unico che si lamenta di questo problema.

Il cibo era buono, ma purtroppo il servizio è stato molto deludente. In particolare, una giovane dipendente dalla pelle scura non è stata affatto gentile né accogliente. Dopo aver aspettato in fila per circa 40 minuti, ci aspettavamo almeno un sorriso o un po’ di cortesia. Purtroppo, abbiamo anche sentito alcune parole poco educate da parte sua. Avevamo sentito parlare molto bene di questo locale, ma non ci aspettavamo un trattamento così spiacevole. Spero che alcuni membri dello staff possano migliorare la loro educazione e offrire un servizio all’altezza della fama di questo ristorante.

Se dovessi davvero condividere questa esperienza all’interno del bar e descrivere il servizio pessimo mi bannerebbero da Google, personale davvero scortese, sopratutto il banconista calvo con gli occhiali, senza voglia di lavorare e addirittura sbuffare davanti al cliente! Pessimo non lo consiglio! Peccato perché il cibo è davvero ottimo

Entriamo per sciacquare il biberon e farcelo scaldare perché avevamo il bambino che piangeva per la fame. Ci hanno chiesto di fare lo scontrino. Si tratta di umanità. Se siete pieni, potete declinare, ma chiedere di pagare... Va beh...

La volta prima ci siamo trovati benissimo, ci aveva serviti un bel ragazzo alto coi capelli mossi e la barba. Adesso ci sono degli altri camerieri meno esperti e meno cordiali. Consiglio di selezionare meglio i suoi dipendenti al proprietario del locale.

First time eating in Milan and we chose Motta because the location looked nice. What a huge disappointment. We ordered a platter with shrimps and calamari, the calamari were like chewing gum. It came with fried aubergine and peppers that were extremely greasy. We also ordered a pizza funghi, which was absolutely terrible: a rancid layer of cheese that wasn’t even properly baked. The salad was small and tasteless as well. We barely touched our food and sent the plates back. When we spoke to the manager, his response was that their dishes are “well known and good,” despite the fact that our plates were almost full. We were still presented with the full bill, even though we ate practically nothing. By far the worst food and service experience I have ever had. I will never set foot in this place again.

Not recommended at all, we found a long worm in our food, and they made is pay for the food we ordered but only cancelled out the one pasta. Bad service and the manager has such a bad attitude, he sent 2 waiters to speak to us insecurity of him apologizing. He simply came and said that the worm is from the fresh mushrooms. I rate this restaurant 0 out of 10. Horrible place to visit.
