Camparino is a must in Milan. Whether you are a local or a tourist, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a good drink with great historic value. Needless to say, the service was lovely—certainly not an understatement when visiting a place like this. It’s always a pleasure to come back. On this occasion, I visited the second floor, where you can enjoy a view of the interior of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II; a reservation is required for this area. Alternatively, you can wait for a table on the main level or enjoy a drink standing by the bar.
I love Camparino! From the Fortunato De Pero decor to the generally cool vibe and atmosphere, an aperitivo here is something special, especially if you drink “al banco” which is not only a nicer and more authentic experience, but also much cheaper! Can’t rate the food, never tried that.
A great selection of cocktails with Campari, served in an authentic and well cared for bar right in the heart of Milan. Very atmospheric place with a classic vibe. Perfect spot to pause for an aperitivo, enjoy a cocktail, and take in the city before moving on.
Lovely experience in Milan trying out this iconic drink in the busiest part of Milan, right in front of the duomo Milan. Friend brought me here and we thoroughly enjoyed the drink and atmosphere
If you want to try every possible cocktail made with Campari, this is the place to come. The bar offers a beautiful view of the Milan Cathedral and the main square — a perfect setting to enjoy the experience.
One of the best aperitivo bar I went in my life the service et the personal are exceptional and professional take the time to visit all the room and obviously the terrace is something else for the view
Incredible cocktails and unique appetisers with them (for free). Tiramisu was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended! P.s. use stairs to the second floor, there’s no tourists at all 😅
The Campari drinks are great as expected. I didn’t try any non-Campari-containing drinks because why would I. Iconic views of the Duomo and people watching. Hard to ask for more from a Campari-focused bar. Pretty small so expect a wait with >2.
Reviewing only the bar / cocktails: Atmosphere: 8.5/10 Located right inside Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, across from the Duomo, this historic bar is pure Milan heritage. The full Campari backbar and elegant Art Nouveau details set the tone, while the mosaic floors and frescoes give it that timeless grandeur. Music volume is pleasant, and though there’s no counter seating, you can stand at the bar or grab a table with complimentary snacks. The view of both the cathedral and the Galleria makes this one of the most scenic bar locations anywhere. Drinks: 8.5/10 Recommendation: Cocoa Berry Boulevardier, Negroni The menu is solid, focused heavily on Campari with only a few non-Campari options. Drinks are well executed, clean, and minimal in presentation. Coasters are nice, glassware is average, garnishes simple but fitting. Flavor delivery is consistent — if you’re a Campari fan, this is as authentic as it gets. Service: 8/10 Complimentary snacks arrive with drinks. The team is friendly and professional, though not particularly attentive. No water on arrival, no towels, but the overall experience still feels polished. No reservation needed. Prices are high, as expected for such a prime Milan landmark. This bar is ranked #92 on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2024 (51–100 list). My take: this bar has a unique concept and a unique location with unbeatable views. Paired with great Campari cocktails, it fully deserves its spot.
If you want to drink best campari spritz or negeoni in the front of Duomo and in addition eat great local food like risotto with ossobuco or Cotoletta alla milanese then this is the best place in Milan. Super atmosphere, great service and great good and drinks!
Iconic Campari bar in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. We came here on a Friday around 2pm and only had to wait for 20 mins for a table. It is a little expensive but it's been here since 1915 so worth a one off visit.
It is very close to the Duomo cathedral. The view is magical. It is also very fun to sit next to the luxury shops. The servers are very friendly and nice, you can sip a cocktail while watching the great view. It has been operating since 1915 and serves the legendary aperitivo bitter Campari. I highly recommend getting the tiramisu. It is very delicious. Gorgeous place.
Great service, first class drinks. Prices are higher but a perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or a special occasion, or just as a guest who came on holiday. I recommend making a reservation in advance. It's worth coming.
Very nice atmosphere and setting. The food and drinks are also good. However, it was 9:30 pm and there were out of appetizers! The kitchen closes very early and the bar closes at 10:30 pm... in an area that touristic why would they close everything so early??

Camparino in Galleria: Iconic Spot with Great Drinks 🍸✨ Stopped by Camparino in Galleria in the morning around 10:45, and while we couldn’t order any proper food yet (only a few croissants available), it was still worth the visit! The location is unbeatable, right next to the Duomo, and the interior is beautiful, elegant, historic, and perfect for soaking in the Milanese atmosphere. We ordered one classic Campari and one non-alcoholic cocktail. Both were well-balanced and refreshing. Would definitely come back again later in the day to try the food and enjoy more of the vibrant aperitivo scene!
Touristy? Yes. Pricey? Yes. But is it iconic? Yes. Worth the hype despite the prices because the drinks are great (and strong). Service was mixed—but to be fair they were busy. They did find us a table despite being busy.

We went because my friend loves Campari. The drinks were okay and the risotto was amazing, but the space is small and cramped. Was an experience we wanted but expensive and we wouldnt repeat
This restaurant doesn't live up to its high ratings online. It is located in the best commercial/tourist area, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, with great relaxing happy atmosphere. But I feel the waiters who have seen too many tourists coming and going forgot the service standard they should have held up. For example, when we entered the restaurant around 6pm, the waiter immediately told us we couldn't just order coffee. I think the attitude was a bit rude. We ordered veal cutlet and black cod for dinner. The veal cutlet was a thick one different than others' thin cutlets, but surprisingly it tasted tender, juicy and tasty. It came with a bowl of salad which was refreshing. However the cod is pretty disappointing. It looked nice but had no taste at all. Furthermore it was cold inside and a bit raw. (I'm sure I didn't order sashimi) so end up after dinner we truly didn't order coffee as requested 😝.

It was a beautiful bar in a special place, with some authenticity to it. Now it's a tourist trap : 18 euros for a toast, servers that keep asking you each minute what you want, so you can move out asap (which is fine, but maybe in a McDonald, not in a place you spend 45 euros for two Spritz and a small bottle of water). At one point they took away the small bowl of peanuts , while we were still eating them. Maybe it is also the festivity, but message recieved, never again
