It was a bit hard to find but the location was absolutely gorgeous! The waiters were amazing and very friendly. The food was very tasty and really loved the complements from chef. The complementary drinks were really good and it was such a pity they don’t sell it as the drink was amazing! Definitely worth going!

Very nice and fancy restaurant with an amazing view of the Duomo! We reserved a table for a sunset dinner and it was absolutely worth it—the view made the experience extra special. The staff were really friendly and professional, especially Luca, who made us feel very welcome. Service was quick and attentive. The food was great overall. We especially loved the Filetto di manzo—highly recommended! The Battuta di manzo was a bit underwhelming for our taste, but the Classico Tiramisù more than made up for it—definitely a must-try. We left with a great impression and felt it was worth the money. Would love to come back!

The view speaks for itself. Rooftop-restaurant with a nice view to the dome and located on the top of the shopping centre la Rinascente. We got a nice table with reservation which we appreciated a lot! They are serving the best water in the world! I was so happy seeing Lauretana water bottled in glass! Food was good and portions perfect size. We had Ravioli and Tagliatelle. Happy to comeback!

It's a beautiful, gourmet restaurant with professionals in their field. They are friendly to both guests and their staff. I was lucky enough to work with them as a hostess and it was a great experience. The approach to customers is very sincere and friendly, and they will do everything to make your stay there better. The view of the Duomo is incredible. There is a seat inside and on the terrace, which is decorated with heat lamps. I advise you to book before coming.

Maio Restaurant at the Duomo is a must-visit for an exceptional dining experience in Milan. The breathtaking views of the Duomo set the stage for an elegant ambiance. The food is outstanding—highlights include the handmade truffle ravioli and osso buco with saffron risotto, both executed to perfection. Paired with an impressive selection of Dom Pérignon champagnes, the meal was elevated further. I had a delicious meal of pasta and a side of grilled vegetables. A comfortable and luxurious restaurant away from the crazy crowd downstairs. Parts of the restaurant has a view of the Duomo as well. Food was a little difficult to order as the dishes are foreign to me. The online menu and paper menu also differs slightly, so be sure to check with the waiter if what you want is not on the online menu.

Overall we had a very pleasant dinner. The food was very good but the portions are a bit small. The service was very attentive and pleasant. The view of the Duomo was great (and pretty much the reason why we chose this place). It's a bit pricy for the portion size but not terribly so. We had a really good time :)

Roof top restaurant next to the Duomo but the view when we came was not great because of the construction going on at the Duomo. We had breakfast here, pricey but not unexpected.

We sat down for a drink and a small bite away from the crowds. Drinks were amazing and a complementary snack with it. Beef tartar - skip it if you are used to tartare with egg, pickles and spice. High quality of meat and cheese, but definitely unique taste.

First time in Milan and it’s my husbands birthday. The area is great but not a lot of space. It will be good if the weather is nice so they can open the roof and you will have a great ambiance. i rate the service to 3 because staff that serve oir food were rushing, he drops a lot of things and almost harm me. He is rushing to much with no extra precautions which give me panic attacks. He didn’t even apologise when he dropped and broke glass near my feet and I can feel all the glasses shattered! The price is too much and the tuna I ordered is too raw( so i didn’t eat it). Again, in no offence, space were tiny and staff were rushing. (Health and safety and quite risky)

Service was really professional but portions were tiny & overpriced. Venue itself resides on the top floor of a shopping complex so exiting is a bit odd after everything is closed. We were originally booked for the patio several months ahead but we were moved, with our consent, to the inside seating due to an event on the patio. Plan to get an appetizer and side for yourself in addition to any entree or you’ll leave hungry. I gave three stars because the good service gave the tiny portions & elevated prices some redemption.

Unfortunately our experience was not good... When we arrived we were recieved in a bad way not even a smile we were placed in a table and were told to check the menu with the QR code so we had to ask for the paper menu ourselves... We were then also reminded in a rude way that the dinner was only for 1h45 min... As this was a very special occasion we left a note in the reservation but our note was ignored so not even a congrats word... The food was good and although the quantity was very small the taste was there so the food was good and there goes the two stars but the prices are really expensive for what we got... So overall not very happy about it

I was desperate to go to this rooftop and I was very disappointed unfortunately. We had a booking and still they made us wait at the entrance quite a long time. I had the maccheroncino al ragu d’ossobocu which were delicious but even though I love aldente pasta there were not cooked, quite raw, the portion was ok but little compared to what I am used in Italy, the view was not great because of the construction works they do on the Duomo. In terms of prices, these were not bad. It’s worth a try for a nice view but I wouldn’t want to go a second time.

Servizio lentissimo come sempre, nulla cambia mai. In piu’ una band che suona proprio davanti ai posti a sedere per cui impossibile parlare o rilassarsi. Non si può fare.

Ho chiesto una centrifuga e un panino, ho chiesto quanto fosse il costo e il ragazzo mi ha detto di accomodarmi avrei pagato dopo. Sul cartellone con i prezzi il costo di una centrifuga è di 6 euro e quello di un cornetto imbottito 3.50. Dopo aver mangiato sono andato in cassa dicendo alla ragazza la mia consumazione consegnandole 20 euro, con la convinzione che il conto fosse 9.50… Mi è stato messo in conto il servizio…. senza che io lo avessi chiesto e senza essere stato avvisato, oltretutto sul documento fiscale non c’è voce del servizio ma c’è un aumento di prezzi al limite della legalità direi. Cari FURBETTI Rinascente forse è il caso di riguardare un’attimo le vostre politiche aziendali e di vendita, inoltre avvisate il Vostro HR di formare meglio i vostri dipendenti riguardo la comunicazione con i clienti.

Cinque minuti ad attendere che uno degli addetti mi chiedesse se desideravo qualcosa. Muti. Ero solo io e un' addetta della rinascente che prendeva un caffè. A servire erano in tre ma nessuno si è curato del cliente. Non posso rilasciare recensioni in merito qualità del cibo non ho avuto modo di assaggiarne, ma una stella per l'educazione nei confronti della clientela è anche troppa.

Purtroppo recensione negativa. Location ok ma: 1-Nonostante bar mezzo vuoto non abbiamo ricevuto il caffe entro I 15 min. Essendo anche in 8 a lavorare. Uno in cassa che prende continuamente gli ordini senza comunicare l ordine esatto, ognuno che che non rispetta le scadenze, poca comunicazione e troppe chiacchiere. 2- cameriere non ha risposto al “grazie” e zero scuse nonostante il largo ritardo. 3- caffe lungo arrivato ma corto, senza cucchiano. C da lavorare su comunicazione e velocita e rispetto.

Servizio non pessimo ma inesistente. Chiedo un pezzo di pizza da asporto, mi arriva senza il supporto in cartone, non tagliata (come chiesto) e senza posate. Va anche bene non tagliarla ma almeno le posate! Senza parlare del servizio lentissimo! 20min per un caffè pure cattivo. Imbarazzante.

Servizio pessimo per non dire inesistente. Abbiamo provato a ordinare pizza e spritz ma sulla prima abbiamo dovuto desistere per evitare plateali litigi con i camerieri, scortesi e totalmente disinteressati. Abbiamo consumato solo il bere per poi andarcene cercando di spiegare in cassa i disagi del servizio, ma l’unica risposta ottenuta è stata un piccolo cenno di assenso, veramente inutile. Mi piacerebbe in futuro valutare l’effettiva bontá della pizza, sperando di poterla ordinare senza ostacoli.

Addetto al bancone non chiaro su cosa ci avrebbe dato, abbiamo chiesto di fare aperitivo non di mangiare una pizza e pagarla anche a parte, senza nemmeno scegliere il gusto del trancio. Disonesti. Andava specificato che la pizza non scelta da noi non era inclusa.

Staff arrogante, sconsiglio vivamente di sprecare i propri soldi in questo locale. Ero una cliente che spendeva in media 5/10€ al giorno, nell’ultimo periodo le attese erano diventate imbarazzanti e l’ho fatto presente numerose volte. L’ultima volta sono stata invitata a non presentarmi più nel loro locale con minacce e parolacce da parte del cameriere. Imbarazzante e dir poco. NEVER AGAIN!

🙅🏻‍♀️Tourists do not come here!!🙅🏻‍♀️ Instead I would highly recommend Obica next door which also has good food AND amazing service!! Food was decent and nice view of the Duomo. But service was insanely appalling. I'm shocked to read similar recent reviews from tourists as well so I'm sure this isn't unusual here. When we first seated, we were asked by a waiter holding a bottle of prosecco if we would like some prosecco. Slightly deceiving some might mistake it as a welcome drink in the way they presented it. Nevertheless we were looking at other drinks so we politely declined. From that moment on, they started actively ignoring our table. - We had to call the service staff a couple of times to order despite them serving most of the other guests around us. - Beer ordered but did not come. - Did not order bottled water but it was still on our bill. - In our 1.5h there we probably spent 30-40 min waiting for them to serve us. They actually offered desert to the guests adjacent to us when clearing their plates, but we had to request. Nevertheless, after requesting the dessert menu we waited about 15-20 minutes for them to serve us, after we called them twice more to let them know we were ready to order desert. Same for the bill, when we requested for the bill we sat there and waited for about 10-15 more minutes. But when we still couldn't call anyone to serve us we eventually walked to the service station to settle the bill there.
