Quality, simplicity, flavor, joy. My review will be divided into two parts because it's inconceivable for me not to share a wonderful story about what happened to us at this restaurant. When we arrived in Riccione, we walked from our hotel to the beach. The best way to find the best restaurants in a seaside area is to ask the lifeguard. They know the right places and are a valuable source of information. On his recommendation, we discovered this restaurant and we didn't regret it. I went to the restaurant around 11:00 to make a dinner reservation and met Mr. Oreste, with whom I spoke for about fifteen minutes. This initial contact was the beginning of a very beautiful encounter during our week-long vacation, as we dined at his restaurant four out of six nights. Beyond the undeniable quality of the dishes and the restaurant's fame, there are two people, Mr. Oreste and Mr. Paolo, who we will always hold dear in our hearts for their kindness, their constant smile, their charm, and their culture. They pay attention to every detail without the customer even noticing. They are the beautiful soul and history of this place. For me, sharing a moment with friends around a table is a special experience that should be cherished more and more. Thanks also go to all the staff for their professionalism and courtesy. Not to mention the sunsets over aperitifs with your feet in the sand. Fantastic. Now let's talk about food and quality. All the dishes we tasted were perfectly cooked and seasoned. There's a genuine pursuit of that little something extra that makes the difference in the dish. From the excellence of the freshness of the fish to offering a true moment of happiness by the sea. When it's simple, it's enough. This is immediately noticeable and it's a culinary pleasure that makes you want to try everything and even request a special dish that wasn't on the menu. Here are the dishes we chose for two people over these four evenings: Appetizers: - MUSSELS TARANTINA STYLE - OCTOPUS ON POTATO SOFTNESS - PARSLEY-CLAMS MARINARA Raw Seafood: - GILLARDEAU OYSTERS First Course: - SPAGHETTO WITH CUTTLEFISH INK "PAOLO STYLE" - PACCHERI WITH LOBSTER - SPAGHETTO WITH CLAMS AND PARSLEY - ROMAGNOLI TORTELLINI WITH CREAM Second Course: - MIXED GRILLED CATCH OF THE DAY - SHRIMP AND CALAMARI SKEWERS - MIXED FRIED FISH - GRILLED SHELLFISH Beyond the Sea: - PARMA HAM AND MELON Bubbles: - Prosecco Valdobbiadene Sup. Millesimato DOCG Extra Dry - Follador White wine: - Tratturo Terre di Chieti I.G.T. Passerina I won't mention the price because at this point it doesn't matter. Yesterday, a friend of mine and I had dinner at this lovely restaurant right on the beach. The owners were truly kind and attentive. I absolutely recommend this place, especially for the good food and the raw seafood and spaghetti, which are the highlights, and the fish is truly fresh.

Everything is absolutely PERFECT!!! The selection of products is top-notch, both the food and the wine! Dinner by the Adriatic makes you feel like you're on another planet! We chose two fish-based first courses, and the quality was truly excellent: generous portions, authentic flavors, and the freshest ingredients. I recently visited this beach restaurant and I must say it was a truly enjoyable experience. The fish is fresh and carefully prepared, without too many frills, but with just the right touch of creativity. I tried an excellent mixed grill and a delicious raw fish appetizer. I also had the opportunity to try the cocktails: well-made, balanced, and served with attention to detail. Overall, a place I would definitely return to for a relaxing evening, with good food and excellent drinks.

A truly delicious seafood meal in a relaxed and friendly Italian restaurant with cloth tablecloths and napkins (right on the beach). We started with the Frutti di Mare salad, followed by the tuna with red beans (I've never eaten such tender tuna!!!), and then the "Black Emotion" dessert, which, along with an espresso, was the perfect ending. We also had a beer, a bottle of water, an espresso, and a cappuccino. I hope they maintain this high quality and freshness for a long time! 👍

A couple of times a season, La Griglia has become a summer staple for us. A restaurant right on the beach, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Informal, almost family-like service that puts guests at ease. Spectacular in the evening, for a romantic dinner or with friends, with the option of a table right on the sand. Good-quality fish, well-cooked, and excellent fried food. Lunches and dinners for small functions are also available.

It was a pleasant discovery! Excellent location, on the beach with outdoor seating. The dishes were plentiful and of excellent quality, with great attention to detail. We ordered mussels Taranto-style, which were excellent, as were the tagliolini allo scoglio, grilled seafood, and fried seafood. We were served by Luca, the owner. The service was impeccable, even though it was a Saturday night and the place was packed. It will be impossible not to return to someone who does their job so well. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Captivating. You can eat right on Riccione's fine sandy beach while enjoying the sea view. There aren't many tables occupying the beach, so prime spots are limited. However, if you book ahead, you might be lucky enough to see the sea...and the moon. Being on the outskirts of Riccione, the parking problem is easily overcome.

Siamo arrivati senza prenotazione di sabato sera, ristorante mezzo vuoto. Erano parecchi anni che non ci andavo più ma ricordavo che qualità e prezzo erano buoni. Appena entro vedo un locale trasandato con ragnatele in tutti gli angoli del soffitto. Il locale di conduzione familiare è gestito dal nonno ottantenne, figlio sessantenne e nipote seduto al tavolo con la fidanzata a disturbare facendo chiasso. Dal menù si evince subito che le cose son cambiate: il ristorante riccionese si è voluto trasformare malamente in qualcosa che dovrebbe essere un ristorante di nouvelle cousine. Prezzi esorbitanti e porzioni minuscole. Ordino un fritto di calamari e gamberi, una mini boule di insalata verde, un primo di gnocchi al sugo di polipo, 2 calici di vino, acqua e un sorbetto per un totale di 60 €. Ho fatto la foto del fritto per rendere meglio l'idea delle mini porzioni. Metto 2 stelle per la gentilezza del padrone che da solo riusciva a servire i tavoli in maniera eccellente. Non ci torneremo mai più.

Terrible value for money. Having been a cook since I was 13, I can say that the tagliolini were bland and had no fishy flavor whatsoever. Not to mention the very poor fried food (almost exclusively sardines and vegetables) and the grilled food was not only poor but also of subpar quality. The prices were sky-high!!! And the food was truly awful.

Esperienza da dimenticare. Abbiamo prenotato il 16, ha detto che aveva posto, ma quando siamo arrivati chi ha detto che per i primi ci voleva molto. Abbiamo optato per un’insalata di mare e una frittura, ma dopo quasi 2 ore siamo riusciti a mangiare solo 6 insalate di mare condivise. Non vi dico quanto abbiamo pagato per questo schifo di servizio. Ristorante cancellato e dimenticato.

Pranzo pasquale 2025. Non ci siamo purtroppo. Come puoi non dare lo scontrino dettagliato?? Come puoi consegnare al cliente il solo scontrino del POS?? Purtroppo si è rivelata una pessima esperienza, cibo non buono, non saporito, né il primo, né i secondi. Porzioni scarse. E prezzi piuttosto alti, più della media. Una delusione!

Peggio di così non poteva andare, ci ha messo a sedere, ci ha detto che sarebbe stato meglio non ordinare pasta quindi abbiamo ordinato qualche antipasto di mare.. sarebbe dovuta arrivare la frittura perché per loro era una cosa veloce, non è arrivato nulla nemmeno dopo due ore.. praticamente siamo andati via Senza mangiare , conto salatissimo per non aver mangiato nulla. Prenotato la domenica di Pasqua per 16....durante l'ordine ci hanno chiesto di non prendere i primi perche li avremmo messi in difficoltà! Abbiamo ordinato solo insalate di mare e frittura! 2 bottiglie di vino e 2 primi! ....ci era stato detto che avremmo fatto prima! Arrivati i primi, 2 cotolette, e le insalate di mare (pessime...di scarsissima qualità e senza sapore) ...poi il nulla a parte i cestini di piadina bruciacchiata! Ci siamo alzati per andare via....dopo l'ennesimo cestino di piadina! Abbiamo pagato 25,31 euro a persona(volevano anche i 31 centesimi)....per avere mangiato roba scadente e piadina sbruciacchiata....e con la fame addosso ! Siamo dovuti andare a ripiegare altrove! Pessima organizzazione....se non sei in grado di stare dietro a tanti coperti non devi prendere prenotazioni! Sconsiglio vivamente! PS: vista la risposta alla mia recensione ...se foste bravi a servire "16 anime in cerca di gloria" come scrivete le recensioni.....avreste 8 stelle Michelin! Abbiamo avvisato del tempo che avevamo a disposizione....e saremmo andati via senza dare fastidio o fare polemiche!!! È stato il vostro "espertissimo" cameriere a dimenticare di far fare le fritture (per evitare la lunga attesa dei primi)....e non l'olio che non arriva in temperatura!!! Mi sa tanto che, il sole che inneggi neile tue risposte, vi ha creato una forte insolazione!!! Informati prima di scrivere poemi ....non sei Manzoni!!!!! Se vuoi ti faccio un bonifico di 0.62 € !! Poeta mancato! Senza rancore....bastava chiedere scusa già ieri ...e mettersi una mano sulla coscienza per l'errore fatto!! Ma nel tuo caso...non è da tutti avere una coscienza! Dai un buon servizio ....le parole se le porta il vento..... Tipo quello di ieri che ha insabbiato i tavoli dove eravamo seduti! Il tutto per arrangiare 16 persone e racimolare qualche soldo! We tried this restaurant for the first time in early June, and despite the somewhat lengthy wait (though we were partly informed), everything went smoothly. Today, confident that we'd enjoy what we found, we decided to try their cuisine again! A total disappointment, starting with the words used; When we asked for a table, we were told that the wait would be very long (on the order of a good hour), so when we decided to go elsewhere, we were told that "maybe they'd be able to serve us in about twenty minutes!" Trusting their words, we accepted and sat down! From that moment on, an endless wait began, even just to take our order: after we sat down at 1:30 PM, the first signs of ordering arrived at 2:00 PM, while we, to avoid causing too much inconvenience, decided to order simple dishes that were all the same (out of 8 plates, 2 of one type and 6 of another)! At 3:20 PM, we were still waiting for our first courses, and in the meantime, the drinks were getting warm! The bottom line was that we got up very disappointed at having been kept in check, relegating us to the table with piadina slices and water. I will definitely not return to this place again, but I will undoubtedly also not recommend it to anyone who wants to try a restaurant on the beach; it would be appropriate instead If you're not dazzled by the three "beachfront" tables, it's better to look elsewhere for faster, more precise, and punctual service! In terms of quality, compared to the first time, I have many reservations about this.

A Sunday lunch by the sea with friends that was supposed to be pleasant and relaxing turned out to be a complete disappointment. The presentation started poorly; we were seated, and after 30 minutes we still didn't have a menu. After 50 minutes, we ordered. During these incredibly long 50 minutes, we waved our arms around, asking several waiters, but to no avail. One of us had to get up twice to ask for a menu and ask for our order. Even though the place was really crowded, that absolutely cannot be an excuse for such rushed, inattentive service. There are seven of us... are we invisible? Let's get to the bill. Yes, we had drinks, but the bill came to €65 per person, including six first courses, four grilled dishes, one fried dish, five sorbets, and four coffees. No appetizer, no side dish, no dessert!! Not even a coffee was offered to apologize for the long wait. We leave the restaurant stunned, speechless. We've never spent so much, any of us, on a fish lunch. We feel cheated. The good quality of the food is overshadowed by everything else. For US, that's a huge NO. In Riccione, there are numerous other restaurants where you can eat well, or better, for significantly less. Do you think this is a €112 barbecue for four? No, because at least you know what to expect.
