Not bad! Definitely think it's a good place to go, we had fun, they had $5 Moscow mules, those were good, the bbq was good too! Queso was spicy, but I like that, and the fries were bomb.

Good Union Urban BBQ is a hidden gem! This place has a wonderful selection of food options and good prices too. I love the brisket bacon sandwich and enjoyed the fries as well. The staff working was super nice and gave great suggestions. The building had a great atmosphere and I love the bar area and enjoyed watching sports on the TV. I will definitely be coming back here!

I came after the lunch rush because I was craving brisket, and they did not disappoint. I don't have an opinion either way on the atmosphere, but the lady who took my order was very friendly and the food very good and satisfying. If I didn't have to go back to work after, I probably would have ordered a beer, too. I doubt I will become a regular, my budget isn't that flexible, but I will definitely be coming back. The portion sizes were just about perfect - no leftovers!

Our first time and what a treat! Fun atmosphere, nice bar, very 'with it' servers (order at the counter then they bring to your table) and fantastic food!!! Reasonable prices considering the quality (cheaper than other comparable BBQ). We'll go back!

I love the ambiance at Good Union! It’s very laid-back and a great view of a beautiful courtyard that’s now decorated for the holidays. The service is always good and staff is friendly. We dined here yesterday evening for Happy Hour. The drinks were on point and bartender was cool. We ordered the brisket street tacos and brisket sliders with potato salad and fried okra. The food is ok, and the prices were very reasonable. On a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the best, 1 the worst, I’ll give the food a 3.5. We will return in the future but will try something different on the menu. Sorry, no pics.

I got the sliced brisket sandwich, cole slaw, and a soda. The brisket and bun had a great flavor. However, the cole slaw was pretty bland. I liked how they served Maine Root soda instead of your typical brands. I also had an old fashioned from the bartend, Jackie. She was very friendly and served up a strong drink. The outside sitting area was very pleasant.

Fast and delicious barbecue. I definitely wanted tacos and BBQ while in Texas and I was able to order both! Sides were served separately. All were good options but larger than I could eat myself.

The food was pretty darn decent and the atmosphere is something I would definitely go back for. The chairs are padded for comfort, which is always important to me and really clean. Even better the lights surrounding the building gave it an amazing ambiance. It’s a place you should try. Can you say date night? I luv the Giant Cow that Sat over the Moon in the court yard overlooking a giant Christmas Tree and the fountain that flows out the window. LUV it!!! Definitely worth checking out this hidden gym. Next time I am getting the Tacos, P’s tacos were even better than my sandwich. I think they would have earned them an extra star. Just sayin!

Great place we stumbled upon while looking for dinner in Richardson. The meat was tender and juicy. We loved the chicken and sausage. The turkey was good but on the dry side. We loved the sauce and the macaroni. We also thoroughly enjoyed the queso and the fries. I can’t remember our opinions on the rib, but I do remember there wasn’t an ounce of chicken left. The atmosphere was great and relaxed. I loved sitting next to the windows and hearing the live music from the quad. It’s counter service but has full bar. We came as a family so opted for a booth. It was delicious, and we had a great overall experience. Would definitely come back.

I’m new to the area and I was very excited to have a BBQ restaurant within walking distance, I’ve been to Good Union 3 times and every time I go the staff is very rude and passive aggressive. Maybe I just come in at the wrong time. I went today to pick up my lunch when I walked in no one greeted me and I walked to the front told them I have a pick up order the guy tossed my bag to me didn’t say “thank you” “have a good day” or anything.. it’s really disappointing because the food is good and a great price but the customer service is lacking

Stopped by for a quick bite before a meeting and ended up with a stomach ache. I had the brisket nachos and withing 2 hours started to get some crazy heartburn. Later on during dinner I could hardly eat because of the stomach ache. At the time the nachos didn't taste bad but the aftermath said otherwise. I hope this was a one off.

Let me start by saying I am not a local, I travel a lot for work and I love good food! So I decided to order takeout my first experience here was amazing... I ordered burnt ends half pound baked beans coleslaw and a side of banana pudding spent about 50 bucks including tip everything looks great banana pudding portion was kind of small for 5 bucks but whatever! My second experience here I want to order my food at about 7:00 p.m. they close at 9:00 pm I ordered half rack of ribs burnt ends coleslaw and fried okra again everything was great but my burnt ends the meat was tough I'm disappointed the ribs were a little tough too flavor profile is there but y'all got to do better I spent about the same 50 bucks including tip I'm highly disappointed my first experience 9 out of 10 my last experience 3 out of 10

It’s not always bigger in Texas…. Well the price is. We ordered: 1/4 sausage 1/4 chicken 1 pint mac n cheese Sliced brisket sandwich 2 banana pudding To start the serving sizes are HORRIBLE compared to the prices. Taste: The muffin that comes along with the meat is pretty good. The sausage is mediocre at best… wouldn’t order again… not worth the cost. Dry with a spicy blandness.. The chicken taste like basic grilled chicken with bbq sauce …. Maybe I expected smoked …again, wouldn’t order and not worth the cost. Sliced brisket sandwich, this was really good! The brisket was great, and … the pricing was on par to what you actually get(the only thing we ordered). Mac n cheese… similar taste and texture to what you would grab from the whole foods deli section… not the best but it does the job … wholefoods would cost about $4 for this pint.. here it’s about $6 Banana pudding….. ok flavoring, starting to make me think this is a chain restaurant and I didn’t realize it…. Paid about $4, quality and sizing would dictate about $2 So, maybe if this was a $20 meal, it would be acceptable.. based off of pricing I wouldn’t choose this establishment again. If I had to, I’d order the brisket sandwich as that’s most in line with typical bbq prices …. Overall, This is just an ok overpriced basic bbq option… no more, no less

For sure a one and done for me. Started off bad as employees acting as if I was a bother. Little to no customer service. Food moderate at best. Went on a Monday with 4 others. Had expected much more based on area and some of reviews. Guess I went on off night but not willing to find out. Fried okra was cold, fries cold and limp, burger was just ok.
