Pretty good food and I would definitely be going there again. The only thing that would have thrown this place over the top is if there were more varieties at the buffet. However what they did have was good. Even the stuff that most Chinese buffets fail at making, that was not the case here.

I've been visiting The Great Wall for years. In all that time, they have been very consistent. Always has good food, always has plenty of it. There are two surprises, one are the fried catfish fillets, the second is the chicken wings. I really think they have the best wings in town. This is very common chinese food, there is nothing unusual or exotic about this place. If you're looking for unique, that is not what this place as to offer. This is a good meal at a reasonable price.

The food was ok. Nothing special. There were a couple of really stale items. The server made us feel extremely rushed. She brought our check about 7 minutes after we sat down as we were still eating our 1st round. She took plates as we were finishing food on it. It was very unpleasant being rushed through like that. She never offered refills. It wasn't busy on Friday at 7pm. I didn't mind that. My family barely ate. They did not like the food at all. It's over-priced for the quality.

There were several concerns regarding the food. The food was not hot. The orange and sesame chicken were dry, chewy, and stale, lacking in flavor, tenderness, and crispness. Additionally, all dishes, including the desserts, had a distinct taste and smell reminiscent of octopus ink (briny and metallic). The only exceptions were items that would not typically require manual handling during preparation or serving. This was an unusual experience, and it is unclear if it was an isolated incident, but it was quite unappetizing and even nauseating.

I had the opposite experience than others, food was horrible as in unedible everything old, I tried everything, and not a single thing would I eat more than one bite. But .... The service was great. Lol Won't go back, Panda Express serves up higher quality fresher food.

The food is hella bomb I’m not gonna lie I been coming for over a year! But these last couple visits have rubbed me the wrong way especially today. I came in with my 7year old 2 year old and 1 year old. Policy is on the door 3-6 years 5.65 for lunch and 7-8 years is 7.89 but if they are 5ft they’ll be adult priced. I’ve never had an issue as far as pricing but today, they charged me for my 2 and 1 year old saying only one child can have free lunch but I brought two. Mind you my 2 year old is very picky and didn’t eat a thing. My 1 year old is a foodie and ate everything I let him try! It was one plate of food he ate off of, fries, grapes, noodles and teriyaki my 2 year old ate absolutely nothing and only drank his juice the entire time! So when they brought the check I told her I wasn’t paying for 3 kids meals and 2 should be free. She explained because I brought two kids only 1 will be free per adult. Which is t the policy in the door as you walk in. I told her I will not pay for a 1 year old child and a 2 year old that ate absolutely nothing she insisted and I told her no. That’s absolutely wrong, as long as I have been coming and bringing my kids y’all never did that before. They changed it to one adult one child. Then stood over me as I paid. Like I wasn’t gonna pay ! So y’all have lost me and my family as a customer again the food is amazing service is horrible.

Hisgrace is sufficient

Ok this used to be my go to restaurant. We don't really celebrate holidays so we would always go to Great Wall for Christmas and Thanksgiving and they never disappointed. I decided to go here for my birthday and the food was bad. My go to is usually the orange chicken, chicken on a stick, fried rice, noodles etc. None of these were good. All of the food tasted old and we went in about 1:30pm. Normally we always tip because the service people basically just have to refill the drinks and wipe the tables off as this is a buffet, but this time I did not. We had to flag our waitress down several times to get refills. Normally at Great Wall once you get up and go to the buffet and come back you have a new drink at the table. I am not writing them off completely but every dish should not taste bad.

Everything was fine until me and my girlfriend were leaving after paying and Wendy, the waitress was blocking my girlfriend in the both seat saying “uhh tip,tip,tip” and literally put the pen back into her hand (I was literally the 1 who paid and already at the door waiting and was wondering what’s taking her so long) - it was so akward. We already put the total and put no tip bc it’s a Buffet?? We go out of our own way and get our food ourselfs ? Why were we demanded to tip!?

The food was decent. However, the service was not it. For example, she didn't give good customer service. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get refills. She also rushed over when she saw the money and then demanded a tip. We were going to leave a tip either way, but she kept demanding it from me and everyone I was with. We did, however, end up still leaving a $10 tip because I felt forced to, but I am honestly regretting it. Will not be coming back.
