Our server was amazing and so friendly! Excellent mushroom appetizer and both or pizzas were delicious! Then, the chocolate cake…huge serving, three of us split it and we still took some home!

Shocked I haven’t reviewed this yet. Been going for almost a decade and I have never had a bad experience. Nights on the upstairs bar area. Meals with family. Wine dinners. Beer dinners. Chef is creative and they don’t put out a bad meal. Large variety of monthly specials. Strong drink selection. I cannot even count the number of times I’ve been. Even met my husband for the first time there. Got engaged after a meal there. And ended up getting married across the street. After all these years, I think the Urban Amore remains my favorite. Also if you love an aperol spritz, they have one of the best ones I’ve had. Oh and their brunch pizza is also phenomenal!!!

Nice. The bread and dipping sauces were enough to come back! The pizzas looked and smelled great. I had their salad with chicken. All gone! Well made. The 4 stars comes from my wife not getting her order. The waitress got confused, I guess.

Ok… Hands down best pizza experience in my life! Starting with the location, downtown brick and cobblestone surround, three story building. You enter and there is a bustling elegant but old vibe, smells are enticing and make your mouth water, they have a bar on bottom floor, with good seating, then you walk up to second floor where they have elegant tables and a separate room for groups, then the third floor with a rooftop view of downtown, surrounded with the cutest flower bed. The pizza is amazing, delicious, perfect undercarriage, amazing mozzarella, and great combination of ingredients. Excellent relaxing vibe, really good waiting staff, I’d recommend a thousand times.

We ordered carry out and when I saw the total I was a little taken aback but once we picked up our food I was very happy. These are large 12 inch pizzas and very filling. The toppings are delicious and fresh. Our order was ready faster than we expected too. I had the Shea’s Eastside and husband had sausage and onion.

The food was fresh and delicious!! The staff did a great job with our 10-person group. Food came out quick and the flavors were on point. Make sure to check out the seasonal menu. The summer salad was so satisfying

We've been going to Urban Crust for years. The wood fired pizza is always excellent and well as the appetizers and service. They always start us with free bread which is served with a side of olive tapenade and a tomato sauce. The olive tapenade on bread is excellent. Today we followed that with Wood Fired Bocconcini Mushrooms which are a must for mushroom and truffle lovers. You can't go wrong with the pizza. We've always built our own. There wood fired build your own pizza is unique in that it's not first covered with tomato sauce first. Instead, I believe, they cover the crust with olive oil then add the fresh toppings. Today we added Italian Sausage (which is from Tony's in Dallas) as well as peperoni and olives. The 12" pizza was plenty for the two of us. Pizza isn't a household staple, but when we do want pizza, Urban Crust is an easy decision.

What a great experience! I love the downtown vibe and this place fits in well. I am impressed by the food and the portion size. I want to go back to try some of the other pizza selections. I had the sirloin blue cheese one and it was fantastic! One dessert will feed a house of people. Very nice. If there is no seating on the bottom two floors, head upstairs for open seating.

March 2025 First review after many wonderful visits. Love this downtown Plano Italian pizza place. Great food and fabulous vibe restaurant setting. Fresh brick oven pizza is a must try. The complimentary bread is a very special touch while seated. Recommended highly and will definitely return.

Amazing food and a great atmosphere! The food here is delicious and we enjoyed everything we ate! Their complimentary bread with sauces was so yummy and fresh, and we ordered their crispy calamari and a custom pizza with artichoke, pepperoni, and fresh basil! So divine. The pizza was crispy and thin which is how I love my pizza! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for some great pizza!

Food and atmosphere is awesome. We came from Missouri for work and sat upstairs at the bar with Noel and Sydney serving us and they were amazing. Highly recommend this place!!!

Great atmosphere in the heart of downtown Plano. Food is great and the bar a fun place to hang out! Get there early it does fill up. Upstairs Patio is always fun but in high demand.

Service is great, out server was very attentive, food is ready in a timely manner. Our pizza was delicious but my favorite was the appetizer we ordered calamari. They have a very decent menu with many options to choose from.

This was my second time eating at Urban Crust. The design and atmosphere of this restaurant are very cool, even though it can be a little tight. The waiter was nice, and the meal was served quickly. The food itself was enjoyable, besides the Carpaccio, which is definitely an acquired taste. Other than that, the food was good and reasonably priced.

Pretty good pizza, with fresh and tasty ingredients. The rucula and parma ham pizza was pretty good. And the rooftop is quite nice, not the most breathtaking views but definitely cool vibe. But the thing that stood out for me was how nice all the staff was. Definitely recommend!

Today will be my last time purchasing food from this establishment. Almost every 2 weeks my boyfriend and I order the rigatoni. We always add broccoli, shrimp, chicken, onion, and spinach with the sauce on the side. The total is usually around $56 for both of us. Today my boyfriend placed an order and all of a sudden they can’t put the sauce on the side and they no longer have the same add ons. He brought back the food and it’s just not the same. It’s just too much sauce and it’s bland. I just wish they would’ve explained that before purchasing. I guess our order was too complicated anyway don’t get the pasta it’s not as good as it use to be. The manger was bland and not considerate given we our frequent customers.

I guess when you make your own pizza, sauce is optional?? Ordered standard mozz, sauce, and added some other cheeses, along with a few meats and some mushrooms on another one. What I got was more akin to white pizza, no sauce at all, and mushrooms cold and slimy enough to confirm they came from a can. And calamari that tasted like cardboard.
