Variety of options and all dishes we tried were delicious! Breakfast burrito, Korean bbq bowl, dirty fries, and Nashville hot chicken were freshly prepared with excellent ingredients and came out pretty quickly after we ordered. Couldn’t ask for more. Reasonably priced as well. We’ll be back.

Probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. I had the signature egg and bird sandwich tossed in buffalo sauce. Wayyyyy more flavorful than chic-fil- basic -A. Why did the chicken cross the road? It was to come to Egg N bird. 🐓🍗

I came here for the first time today at lunch (Hot Korean Sandwich). It was SO flippin good (lightly breaded, perfectly crispy, not greasy at all, delicious sauce) and the people were so nice and the prices reasonable and ALL FROM SCRATCH and outstanding flavors, I brought my husband for dinner so he could try it also. He was equally impressed, and we are both highly critical of restaurant food quality! Only location in TX--I want them to get more traffic so they stay around for a long time!!

I went through the drive thru this morning. I’ve never been here and it didn’t seem like much in the menu so I opted to pick the burrito meal. It was the #4. I really didn’t even know what I ordered. I paid and it a little bit for my food to get out so I was like dang, what’s going on? They brought it and I went on to work and opened it there. When I tell you this burrito was huge! I’m not lying. Sometimes a burrito can be big and still not be good so I took my first bite. Honey, when I tell you it was worth the little wait, it’s worth it. It had the most tender, juicy chicken with whatever type of sauce in it and the eggs. The flavor was so good. I was full halfway through the burrito but it was so good I had to eat it all. So my only complaint is I’m so full that I don’t want to work now. My fair and honest review. Don’t go if you are in a rush. This isn’t McDonald’s but if you got a little time, go and try that burrito. It’ll be worth your while.

Great fried chicken! The Egg n Bird sandwich was quite good. The fries were well seasoned and crispy. The rustic décor was interesting, and the restaurant smelled faintly of straw. Fried chicken has become a food trend lately, but Egg and Bird stands out.

This place is awesome!! The food is fantastic, husband and I both got the grilled chicken avocado combo - the FLAVOR on this sandwich was incredible, the sauce had a nice kick to it but not overpowering. The portion size and quality of the food for the price you're paying is great. Friendly staff, the girls walked around and gave out samples of their vanilla pudding (which was also delicious), the owner or GM came up and thanked us for coming in. All around great experience. Will be back for sure. Also the decor is to be like a train station with little wooden chickens all over, its super cute

Thought I’d give this place a try! Bought a Korean Hot Sandwich combo. Genuinely the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The fries smack too!! The only downside is there’s not a nutritional menu online, my partner is diabetic. I need to know the carb/fiber info. Id really like to bring him here!

This place is seriously so good. I had the bacon chicken wrap and French fries and it was made extremely well. The sauce to salad ratio was A1 and the wrap wasn't like one of those that fall apart easily and a healthier option compared to chipotle. The staff was very sweet and attentive. Ill definitely be coming back here to try the breakfast options.

My son and I were looking for a new place to have breakfast. He heard about the egg and bird restaurant. When we were looking at the menu, Alice was very helpful in her recommendations. I told her I wasn’t really a chicken person so she recommended that I get the biscuit egg cheese bacon. It was amazing. I highly recommend this place. It’s very clean. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I even left with a chicken keychain. Thank you, Alice and the rest of the staff for being so amazing.

I tried Egg N Bird for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised. Though worried at first, due to a customer complaining about how long it was taking, I soon realized it was unfounded. The staff were nice and the food was hot and very tasty. I received my food in a decent time frame and I was happy with the cleanliness of the place.

This is the best fast food chicken place in DFW. Seriously you have to try the Nashville hot chicken. I have tried 90% of the menu and it all rocks

Where to even begin! The food was egg-celent. I tried their Korean chicken sandwich, and have been thinking about it ever since! The inside of the place has such a cute train station theme going on, which was a delightful surprise, as the building is a bit unassuming from the outside. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. This beats any chicken place in town. So happy I came here, and will absolutely return!

This was our first time at this fairly new restaurant. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, but the was juicy and on its own, very tasty. I am used to the actual meat being bland, not this. I had the kid's tender meal and the Mac and cheese. It was cheesey, well seasoned and I would buy it again my niece did the sandwich with chicken, over easy agg, cheddar cheese and sauce. Mine came with excellent fries and hers with hash browns. We totally enjoyed all of our food and plan on visiting again Highly recommend

The chicken sandwiches are huge and very delicious. The Nashville sandwich is a great choice for the spice and the dirty fries are a meal all by themselves. 10/10 would recommend just for the portions alone not to mention how affordable everything is.

First time here and was surprised by the food, service and atmosphere. Service was as friendly and efficient as any Chick-fil-A. The restaurant has an interesting and fun interior design you'll have to see for yourself. And the food was delicious. I got the Korean bowl to try something new. It had several different flavors and textures but they all mixed perfectly together. The fries were very good too. Overall this place is much better than the majority of fast food restaurants and quite unique! I was the only customer in the restaurant, good for a nice peaceful lunch but I'd hate to see this place leave, so go try it out and bring a friend. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I was a little skeptical at first, but this place is fire. Everytime I have gone, the food is great and the staff is amazing; have gone both in the day and night. My favorites are both the grilled chicken & avocado sandwich, and the bowl. I do plan to eventually venture to other items, but for now those are my go too. I normally do not eat coleslaw, but it was a great combination in the sandwich. Definitely will be going back more than twice.

I’ve been here a few times now and the food is always delicious and fresh! My favorite is the Korean hot sandwich. We tried breakfast here for the first time and it was just as delicious! The loaded brekkie hash is pretty spicy so that might not be for you if you don’t like a little heat but they have a lot of other breakfast items to choose from! My business is new to the Plano area and I went Exploring and stumbled upon this place to eat at. Parking lot was empty so I was worried, The set up is nice. It looks like a train station. The menu looked amazing and I was greeted by Shawn Who took my order. . I tried the dirty fries combo, which Consisted of french fries loaded with nacho cheese, cilantro, and chopped up chicken tenders. I passed on what they called the “crack sauce” and opted for ranch sauce instead. The food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

This might be one of the best meals we've ever had. We tried chicken & waffles, Avocado Egg, chicken breakfast burrito, and banana pudding. All were spectacular!! Might be the very best breakfast burrito ever. Unique menu items with unique flavors. Strawberry milk shake was out of this world and we would not ordinarily even be interested in trying one. Service was truly excellent. The service we got from Arianna, Issi, Trevor and Tyra was as good as it gets. We asked if they were related to the owners because it's rare you that a staff of young people care about the restaurant experience and the customers like they each did. There were several examples of them going way above and beyond . Then, we watched them do the same for a couple that came in as we were finishing. This place is something special and will absolutely become a regular choice.

Cute place! I got 4 Garlic Parmesan chicken tenders and they were huge, flavorful, and had a good crunch, similar to Korean fried chicken. We also got the chicken sandwich with the egg and that was also very tasty and filling. Would come here again and would def recommend others to check it out!

Egg n Bird was/is amazing! My Husband and I tried the Original Country Bird and it was delicious! (Unfortunately we were too excited to try it that we did not get a picture of the sandwich itself) lol Their crack sauce is 🤌 The Scratch-made banana pudding was also very very yummy 😋 The customer service was also wonderful! All smiling faces, all very welcoming. We will for sure be coming back multiple times to try all that they have to offer!

I’ve come here twice now and it was so good both times. This might be the best chicken sandwich place in the DFW area. Their crack sauce is not your traditional honey mustard chicken sauce. It’s sweet, spicy, and pairs really well with the sandwich. I recommend the country bird sandwich or the egg n bird sandwich. And the staff were so nice!!!

2/21/26: First time visit. This was a to go order. I had the Dirty Fries which were seasoned fries topped with chopped chicken, cilantro, nacho cheese and drizzle with Crack Sauce. I also had the Egg N Bird Sandwich, which was fried chicken, fried egg, bacon, American cheese, spicy honey and Crack Sauce on a toasted brioche bun. Both of these entrees are shareable. Both dishes were freshly prepared and had great flavor. The order did not take very long to come out. The food was wrapped well, and was still hot by the time I got home. Highly recommended! PSA: Cash is not accepted.

Really good meal, but we got 3 sandwiches and it costs over $30, which just seems a little expensive. But overall, really enjoyed it and will be back

I ordered the Egg and Bird burrito and it was a proper California burrito-it was massive! I checked the menu and unless I missed it, did not see that it had the crack sauce on it. Turns out I really don’t like it and it is slathered in it. Great for those that love it! The hash brown was great and the service was awesome, I just don’t like the sauce which covered everything. Super cute inside though.

If you're tired of the same breakfast/brunch offerings THIS is the place to go. The food is perfectly cooked, well seasoned and full of epicably matched textures and flavors. The prices are a little steep on DoorDash for some things but that is the nature of the beast. Going to the establishment is worth the trip for the ambiance and delicious food. The customer service is nice. The chicken tastes good, but the garlic sauce doesn't taste garlicky at all. It tastes more like vinegar. There's other sauces that they have though that I didn't try. The bbq tastes very good. The inside is very decorative as well making it a unique fast food dining experience.

So I’ve been going to egg n bird since last year summer however I noticed a change in the meat since the switched the menu up. The chicken doesn’t taste the same I can’t put my hand on it but they need to switch it back up. The staff and atmosphere is great I love the customer service but again the food taste different from when I first started going there. It gives chick fil a meat processed now and doesn’t taste real.

Ordered a Chicken Biscuit. I ate it by itself without honey or jam, as I wanted to try it just as it was. Wasn't bed, but not in my top 3 Chicken biscuits line. Biscuit was fine, and the chicken had a little too much breading on it. I thought the chicken was under seasoned, and slightly over cooked to where it was getting dry and stringy inside. The Chicken Biscuit was just a bit too expensive for what I got in my opinion. I will try again, as it is a new restaurant, and everyone deserves a second chance!

Been here a few time, love the food and service. Now as an assistant manager I don't mind my employees talking to each other, but what I don't like is when one employee which I've noticed at egg n bird always talking and never helping. One of them is an african American who has short black hair with the orange on top, the other is a white guy shirt around 5'4 with glasses and i notice that man not just talking a lot, but eating food where the food is being made. Come on man germs are a thing. I'll be stopping by when i know those 2 aren't on shift.

The location feels awkward, and dropped into a low rent area. The railway line and chicken coop display are very cute though. The counter workers are very nice and friendly. The chicken is very good, but not sure about the sauces. None of the folks in my party cared for the sandwiches and bowls they ordered. Unfortunately one person found a hair in their Korean bowl, and based on the color and length it did not come from anyone at the table.

I gave the food a 3 b/c of the size of the biscuit sandwich. I'm definitely interested in the menu and will visit again to try other things.

We have been ordering here 2 times a week and we have seen this decline food prep and biscuits fall apart. We comment in each order and main screen for jelly and honey get none. There is no doubt the chicken is great better than chick fli a . But we keep trying to be supportive of you buts its getting harder to justify in the office anymore

Egg N Bird! We missed breakfast but still had a really good experience! We're definitely coming back! We didn't take any pictures, cause we were too hungry! If you don't get the coleslaw you're missing out on the star! It ties everything together! PSA get the coleslaw!!! Edit: went for breakfast and it was a terrible experience... The "big breakfast" is just a deconstructed sandwich that costs 3 bucks more. Morning staff was not attentive, floors were already sticky, chef kept trying to flirt with cashier, food was ready in 1 minute, which tells me it's not made to order. Lunch service when the owner is there is much better...

So we decided to try this new restaurant, first off it's more of a fast food place it has a drive through. I ordered the Loaded Brekkie Hash and did not realize it had their homemade chili oil in it, after a few bites it was so hot I could not eat it. My husband order the signature breakfast sandwich and got his chicken Nashville hot with the hot honey and we had to switch food. Is the food worth the price that's a hard question, the sandwiches are a good size, the side of fries would be a small anywhere else and the hash was an okay size but at 13 dollars or 16 for a combo I would not recommend ordering the hash. The restaurant is themed kinda like a train station with a train running though it and a train display at the counter, it's cute and unique.

Overall the food was good. Will definitely go back but it's frustrating that curbside pickup is offered in the app but it's actually not. Breakfast is offered but when you get to the restaurant it's actually not. They also don't open at 6:30am as stated online. The fries and the the grilled chicken were tasty and so was the fried chicken. It's a new place so I guess they have stuff to work out but I would recommend.

Love the food, but every time we order to go, the order is wrong in one way or another. Tonight’s order we had 3 grilled chicken sandwiches all with cheese, all 3 came without cheese. Ordered a country chicken sandwich with avocado, came with no avocado. Otherwise good, but probably will not continue to order.

The food at Egg n Bird is always great, I would definitely recommend, but if you’re going through the drive-thru line make sure you double check your bag! Most of the time I come here I’m either missing a side of fries or a dipping sauce that the chicken tenders are supposed to come with. Sometimes I forget to check and I don’t notice until I’m at home and get disappointed when I’m about to eat and it’s happened several times.

I really liked this place at first and the food was really good. Lately, the fries have been luke warm as if they been sitting out for a while, they took away the breakfast burrito, and now their cashier told me they no longer do happy hour for the discounted sandwich or korean bowl. This place appears to be going down hill.

The food tastes good but it's completely ruined by the temperature. No matter dining in or take out, the food you receive is room temperature or cold. I not sure how long they leave the chicken and fries out but it's never hot. The only thing that's seem like they heated up is the toasted bread. If I do take it to go, I always have to airfry before eating it and I live 5 min away from the place. Super disappointing, likely not going back.

Was heading to chick fil a for the Friday night family meal and had been seeing this next door during construction and decided to give it a whirl. Chick Fil A wins again Egg Bird Not my cup of tea honestly. Being next to a chick fil a would think this play would have stellar chicken to compete unfortunately I believe this Friday night they dropped the ball. Tenders had a good crunch but the meat was beyond dry and rubber no tossed when requested tossed. Required to effort to chew on my opinion before I could attempt a swallow. Must of the tenders had to be wash down. We ordered tenders and only got a side sauce without the garlic parm on them. Understand it’s a new spot and the staff may be new to the mix and in raining period still but gotta tighten the ship Egg Bird to compete. Also, got the Korean Bowl sticky rice was great but that was about it honestly. A lil to Heavy grease that some may appeal. I will stick with my original choice of chick fil a from now. Wishing you guys the best and wanted to give honest feedback!

Found a bone in the chicken sandwich. There seems to be a decline in food service of most restaurants . This is my third time here now sure I will frequent. The meat chicken was not choice...

Saw this was a new spot and decided to try it. I was drawn in by all the chicken offerings and waffle. First the food was not hot. Waffle was cold and hard. Tasted like a Belgium ego waffle that had been sitting out on counter. Sandwich was really sloppy, the cheese stayed cold and never melted. The egg looked and tasted like it had been sitting for a long while. The wrapper of the sandwich was messy too which makes me feel like their kitchen and employees MAY not have the cleanest habits. If I had sat down to ate I would have asked for a refund. I would not recommend it based on my impression of the employees. I don’t think it’s going to get better. Chick fil a is across the street and their sandwich’s are always hot! I gave 2 stars because the sauce did have a good flavor. *I could not post videos here but included them in my yelp review.

Man my review used to be about the sauce on the burrito but now there's no burrito at all, or avocado sandwich, or banana pudding, or shakes. I was going to order something but looking at the menu nothing interested me. I hope this place considers getting at least the burrito back, it was my favorite and the favorite of many of my friends or family.

I ordered two of the sandwiches with egg. The combo of chicken, honey and egg would have been great but the chicken itself was terrible. It was cold despite Door Dash handing it to me less than 5 minutes after leaving the store, and it was the driest and toughest chicken I've ever tasted. I'm not sure if it was over cooked or if it dried out from sitting under a heating lamp all day. I'm a little concerned I may end up with food poisoning if it sat out all day... which is what it tasted like. The fries were also cold. The coleslaw was really good though. My other complaint is in Door Dash there was no way to order sides without getting the combo. I didn't want drinks so I told the driver to keep them or leave them at the store.

Dropped in this morning to get chicken and waffles. Two orders. Specifically asked for extra syrup and butter. Then had a 10 minute wait. Finally the guy brings our food out to us. And suddenly remembers he didn’t put the syrup and butter in the bag. He goes back in and gets it. We drive off drive to our job and get ready to eat only to fine one syrup and no forks or knives. Called the manager only to hear him say he will talk to his staff about it. By the time I found knives and forks at race track the food was nice and cold. Bad experience on my first try. By the way. They were extremely slow. No customers. They were all next door at chick filet !! Where I will be next time

Food tasted great until my Wife looked at her sandwich and it was (RAW) as Heck... now we gotta worry if she's doesn't get sick from eating 85% of it before we looked at the meat. Make sure you check the chicken before biting it. Wanted to love this place it was good until we opened our eyes. Very friendly Staff and helpful. Was told that unless I had a mobile order I couldn’t use the drive thru. Went DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET to chick-fil-a and there was no problem.

Food was greasy and bad. Service was awkward and the people were super weird tbh. And had no idea how to talk to a person like a normal human being. The only redeeming quality was the chicken wasn't dry. It was juicy. But it was average chicken at best. And they have the nerve to post up in front of a chic fil a. My fault for thinking they were good. Empty parking lot next to a full chic fil a. Trash

My family and I come in from out of town and decided to try this place based on severely misleading reviews. As soon we step in, we are in a modern metallic cage, as if we were the chickens about to be trapped. It doesn’t smell good and it looks overpriced already. The cashier who takes our order is awkward and talks like he doesn’t want to be there. We’re unsure really of what we’re ordering, but we get two Big Breakfast Plates with drinks and the total is $27 with change. This is essentially a fast food place. We go to sit outside because it’s more pleasant than sitting inside, and they bring out covered plastic trays, similar to the ones used in hospitals to bring out your food. We ordered to dine in and received plastic cutlery, no lids, no straws, TINY, greasy portions. You’re better off going to McDonalds, honestly. Chicken is not good either. The Chick Fil A across the street is far superior. We are not the type of people to discard food, but we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat this glorified, Gen Alpha garbage. Save your coins and save some chickens.

The worker was nice but my order was wrong. I paid extra and got the meal so I can get egg and cheese on my chicken biscuit just to come home and see there was no egg or cheese on it. I would probably never come here again. Edit: I emailed the email address that was provided but there was no response and its been a couple of weeks.

Word of advice for the proprietors of this establishment. If you are going to have customers wait for over 20 minute, you can at least make sure the food is fresh. Something told me to go to the Chikfila across the parking lot. But u live and u learn.

Ordered online arrived 10 mins later and zero customers and my order hadn't been seen I guess. So I wait leave open at red light and take a bite and notice the chicken is cold and there is no fried egg that cost extra on this sandwich. Brought it back and then was told to wait while he went and got a lead.? I was frustrated so I left in search of dinner somewhere else and never even got a refund. What a joke. I will never return to an "Egg N Bird"

We ordered directly from their website on 6/11/25, 2 sandwiches and 1 dirty fries and we received only 1 sandwich. There was no mention of their crack sauce being spicy, it's very spicy. The chicken was juicy and crispy but lacked flavor. The fries were overwhelmed by the same spicy sauce. We were excited when we arrived at the place since the atmosphere is neat, but we were highly disappointed with what we got. Called the store to obtain a refund on the missing sandwich - will give 1 more star if the refund is processed timely. edit: 6/14/25 - still no refund, I called yesterday and they said 24-48 hours. It's been over that, but being the weekend, I'll call again on Monday -- it should NOT be that hard to get money back for food that was not received. Additionally, just look at the past reviews, less than 4 days ago, they only reply to the positive ones and other clients have mentioned they were missing food items. What a disappointment. 6/19/25 - had to call the store again on 6/17, obtained a corporate email to request the refund, which makes no sense as I was told multiple times it was already being processed. I emailed on the same day, on 6/18 I followed up via email to ask for an acknowledgement and they replied with a receipt of refund. Glad this nightmare is over but it shouldn't have been this hard.

Due to the long wait which came into my lunch time there was nothing I could do but order from another restaurant . For the price, I expected better quality and quicker service. Hopefully, this was just an off day, but I’m not sure I’d rush back anytime soon.

My wife and I came in 30ish minutes after they opened and could see three other couples in the restaurant. Being the first time we've been here we tried one of the doors that turned to be locked. An employee was outside and also was locked out where we had to wait for a minute or so while others stared at us. The employee had to use her headset repeatedly to get someone to let us all in. When walking in another customer storms out saying to not make their food anymore as was taking forever and left. We had looked at the menu previously online but was told they had removed a lot of items like the burrito I saw so many good reviews for. I did not see any options for the tea as well and the drinks were watered down. We would rather just go to Chick-fil-A across the street next time and don't expect to go back. There is also only one item with egg for a place being called Egg N Bird. Save yourself the trouble and go to Chick-fil-A for delicious chicken.

I told her I watched her stand there and eat and she never went to wash her hand so I didn’t want the fries. she took the bag back and gave attitude when she’s wrong. I hope she not a manager because her leadership skills are unprofessional and unsanitary! Picture attached for reference so she can be coached not eat on the line and wash your hands afterwards.
