Las Lomas Mexican Cuisine

We were craving fajitas and searched for a Mexican restaurant nearby. We found Las Lomas and decided to try it for the first time. We did not regret our choice at all. We ordered the beef fajitas, and they were excellent—perfectly cooked and very satisfying. It definitely satisfied our cravings. We will surely come back again.

Great food. I love the seafood dishes as well as the fajitas, elotes, enchiladas and on the weekends you can get menudo and pork pazole. I told the manager don’t ever fire the cook. He said I can’t, he’s my brother. I hope they are in Richardson for a long time.

Stumbled upon this place today and decided brunch looked interesting. Hostess was friendly and sat me immediately. Saul my server came by shortly afterwards and was quite affable. Chips and salsa appeared as if by magic. I decided upon the Tierra Cali, eggs, sausage, brisket, peppers & onions, and smashed beans. Delicious!!! I was full but just had to endulge in churros. They were great! I gotta come back and try their regular menu. Now to waddle outta here

Food was delicious. Queso fundido with mushroom was a nice textural touch and we enjoyed stuffed jalapenos. The sour cream and chicken enchiladas were great...sauce was flavorful. Vampire was a tasty drink md the draft beer was ice cold. Jose was our server and did a wonderful job. The owner stopped by to introduce himself and thank us for coming. Happy hour until 7 and open late on Thursday- Saturday!!! Had several beverages.

We discovered this restaurant through Facebook and decided to give it a try and we’re so glad we did! I’m always on the hunt for a great café de olla, and this one did not disappoint. The restaurant was clean, our waitress Amanda was incredibly friendly, and the food… chef’s kiss 👌🏽 Everything was delicious and full of flavor. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely obsessed with this little Mexican gem! 🌮✨ The flavors are so authentic it feels like a warm hug from someone’s abuela. The flautas and albondigas were my total favorites!!! So comforting and so flavorful! Their cocktail menu is so unique and has exciting drinks, the cucumber ranch water was delicious!! So crisp, refreshing, and dangerously delicious. 😌💚 The mango tres leches cake…I’m 100% convinced I’ll be dreaming about it tonight, it’s magical. 🍰💛 What makes it even better is the amazing family who owns the place. You can taste the love and care they pour into every dish and every detail. Truly a spot worth supporting and savoring again and again!!! We can’t wait to come back SUNDAY FOR BRUNCH 😍😍

Atmosphere was perfect for our mini family get together, they got us sat quickly. Staff was friendly and very attentive. The guac and cheese were delicious to start off with. I got the hibiscus margarita it was very good! I loved the salmon, it’s my usual to go to and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious! Will be back!

We ordered 3 different meals and shared everything. It was delicious! If the beans aren't good I am out...and these beans were delicious! We also had the infused tequila which was delicious. The bartender helped us while we were there and he was super attentive and helped us with choices. I loved the assortment of tequila they had. We will definitely be back!

Had a great lunch experience here! My Arrachera Flameada (pretty much Fajitas) came out steaming on the skillet, was a great portion, delicious, and had a great amount of grilled onions and peppers. The rice and beans were delicious too! The churros were also delicious and came with ice cream. Service by Edgar was perfect, and even the owner came out to greet us. Highly recommend!

First timer- take out order and it was messed up.. Came back for brunch and Eric made it right! Great food 😋 , tilapia was seasoned to perfection, french toast not to sweet, chicken enchiladas were yummy. Forever customer. Definitely recommend.

this place is tasty! might be my new favorite chips and salsa. we had the aquachile, elotes, fish tacos, torta cubano, and the sopes and they were all great. great service as well. we enjoyed the place quite a bit and will be back very soon!

A few kinks that need to be “ironed out” so be patient as the owner is training his newly staff and is bringing the restaurant from the ground up, but the taste makes it totally worth it. I went a week after they opened but will definitely will be going back. My party of four shared a Cóctel de Camarón, Nick’s Molcajete and an Aguachile. 👌🏼 The bar was also on point! I had beer (nothing to say there) but my wife had a strawberry palomina and loved it!

The customer service was great. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and the lady walking around checking in made my parents (Spanish speakers) feel welcome and comfortable. The servings were just right we got the molcajete for 2 and it was more than enough. I will definitely be coming back!

We recently hired Las Lomas to cater a birthday party, and they absolutely exceeded our expectations! The owner was incredibly easy to work with and went above and beyond to accommodate special requests, even offering options outside of the normal menu to make sure everything was just right for our event. The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They even assisted us with moving furniture at the venue — something that wasn’t part of their job — which really showed their commitment to great service. We set up a street taco bar with three meat choices complete with queso, guac, salsa, and chips, and it was a huge hit with our guests. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend Las Lomas Mexican for catering or your everyday restaurant needs. They made the entire experience stress-free and memorable!

Everything here was absolutely amazing. We ordered the queso as an appetizer - unlike any other we have had (albeit we aren't from the area). They had a special Valentine's day menu we ordered from and not a single regret - the Red Pepper Shrimp Bisque is now competing for my favorite soup, although I'm not sure if it's regularly on the menu. Overall, we told our college bound kid that if they chose to come to UTD, we would have to come visit just so we could come to Las Lomas again.

The food was absolutely amazing!!!!! The service was even better. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and their friendliness really stood out. I’ll definitely be back for sure! Amazing and inviting staff. The food was awesome. I use the salsa as an attention to detail test before ordering and theirs did not disappoint. Bold flavor without being overwhelming with crisp, fresh chips. I had the Lockwood Ceviche as an appetizer. The perfect blend of sweet, savory, and a lightness that left room for the main dish. That was followed with their fish tacos and oh-my-days! It was delicious with flaky white fish, cabbage, avocado, and the sauce had a lemon and pepper note to it that was crazy good. It came with black refried beans that had the same attention to flavor. Come check these folks out!

Stopped in for brunch after seeing this place pop up on social media. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive in getting us drinks right away and even offering some suggestions. We shared a bowl of the pozole which was delicious and had a generous portion of pork. We then shared the brunch embarazadas plate which was a delightful blend of flavors. I found myself going in for bites even after I felt full. Can’t wait to come back to try their dinner menu.

The Food - 4.5 Stars: The tacos were amazing. Some of the best barbacoa tacos I have ever had. Our cousin raved about his pastor tacos saying they are the best he has ever had. We ordered Chile Con Queso, Barbacoa Taco Plate, Al pastor Taco Plate, and Frijoles Charros Soup, 3 beers, 2 Mexican Coca-Colas. Chips and Salsa, beans and rice were average. The queso was better than most. The Service - 4 Stars: Very friendly and welcoming. We dined in an off-peak hour (4:30 PM Friday Night) and while we were seated promptly and food was served with no expected wait, a second round of drinks was slower than needed. The Price - 3 Stars: ~$80 before tip. Not much of a "Happy Hour" considering we had 4 people with only 3 entrées. The Vibes - 3 Stars: I have always found this area interesting. It is nestled in a small shopping center just a small block off Beltline. Easy to miss and the shopping center has had its rotation of businesses. Overall, I highly recommend as the tacos are worth it! (Sorry, forgot to get pictures).

40 bucks for two sad looking tortas with no mayo, hardly any beans on it, and dry meat. A store bought looking flan, and some tasteless chips and salsa. The hostess was sweet and the decor is nice but the food is a no go. 2/10
