I was mainly looking for a HALAL place to enjoy a good steak in Dallas and came across this restaurant, also recommended by a friend. I ordered the beef steak while my wife had the roasted chicken, and we also tried the Mexican chicken Casalena. The food was freshly prepared, full of flavor, and tasted absolutely top notch. The quality, presentation, and taste exceeded expectations, making it a wonderful dining experience. Overall, a great spot to eat out and definitely worth returning to.

We ordered #4 tex mex and #5 downtown richardson beef burger and one chicken, steak, and gyro platter. Compared to other halal burger places, this one is the best! I will recommend to my friends and revisit again.

I'll start with i wasn't even looking for this place. I was going to the place next door for the first time. I was pressed for time and decided to give Yummy Burger a chance. I'm so glad I did. I walked in and was greeted right away and the staff was so helpful.This place offers flavors beyond what some may be use to but oh man is it delicious. Their fries freshly fried and given a special spice. I had the BBq burger and loved it. I definitely will ne returning to try more things for sure!

If you're craving a unique culinary steak experience, look no further than Yummy Burgers & BBQ. Small and cozy environment The standout dish for me was the Ribeye, deep brown crust formed by the Maillard reaction unlocks savory, nutty, and roasted flavors, while keeping the inside juicy and pink, where the fat has rendered but the juices remain locked in. One bite into a Yummy Burger’s well-prepared ribeye, and you’re greeted with layers of flavor, beefy, slightly sweet, and deeply savory which delivers complexity without complication. The mouthfeel is luxurious. As the marbled fat melts, it softens the meat’s natural chew, offering a balance between structure and silkiness. Portions are generous, making this a great value for families or group dinners. Unfortunately place need serious attention about cleanliness, tables are not clean had clearly not been cleaned properly from the previous diners. Crumbs, smudges of sauce all over the table. Around 1pm there were only 3 tables occupied with guests.

Ordered the #5 combo, chesse burger with ketchup, and mustard with fries. The burger was very good. A bit heavy on the condiments. The meat was cooked well. The fries are battered. I'm not a big fan of them. They were very crispy and tasted ok. I was also able to try their Yummy sauce and BBQ sauce. I really liked the Yummy sauce. The BBQ was a bit spicy with a nutty flavor. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Yummy’s Burger in Richardson and overall had a good experience. We got the Richardson Burger, loaded fries, and the brisket sandwich. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the loaded fries were a hit — cheesy, crispy, and full of toppings. The brisket sandwich was okay, not our favorite, but still decent. They also have ribs and steak on the menu, which we’re looking forward to trying next time. Good spot for halal comfort food with a solid menu and plenty of options. Worth a visit if you’re in the area!

I loved Yummy Burger & BBQ in Richardson, TX! I went there during Ramadan for Suhoor because it’s halal and open late. The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the Brisket Sandwich and it was cooked to perfection, with a great price to match. I’m definitely coming back to try their ribs and burgers. Anwar, the owner, was very helpful in recommending dishes, and they have good parking and excellent customer service.

5/22/25: My neighbor and I came across this restaurant, since Del's Charcoal Burgers was undergoing renovations. It was within a few yards from Del's. Customer service was great. We met Debbie, who went over their extensive menu with us. I had a burger and fries. Our lunch orders were prepared fresh, and the food was pretty good. You place the order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. There was plenty of seating available and the restaurant was pretty clean. They have a daily special from 11am-3pm and they have a Kid's menu. Street parking can be a challenge at times.

Came with a friend to eat a Gyro and Steak Platter. Both Paid for extra meat and they intentionally avoided adding the extra meat. I heard the front cashier tell the chef that both had double meat and the chef just waived it off. I saw them put 1 cubed pre-portioned stick of steak and gyro each respectively and then after they only added 1 stick of gyro each and no extra steak I guess to short the customer or make some extra margins…not sure, I asked them about it and they couldn’t really give me a answer. Food is good usually, I like coming here but the chef and front staff might be doing some sketchy stuff skimping for margins

I came across several of their online reels and decided to visit to experience the place firsthand. Unfortunately, the overall taste was quite disappointing — the ribs and t steak had absolutely zero flavor and did not live up to the expectations created online. My kids were especially let down, as they felt the reels were misleading. While I will say the meat itself was reasonably tender, the overall quality and taste fell far short of what we had anticipated.

Yesterday we had one of the most humiliating experiences ever at Yummy Burger in Richardson. We’re regulars there and went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. There were five of us, and we ordered about $88 worth of food. One of the Tex-Mex burgers tasted bitter after just one bite. We took it back to show the guy at the counter, and instead of listening or trying to help, he immediately became rude. We didn’t want a refund , we just wanted a normal burger that tasted how it’s supposed to. He kept repeating that it was “supposed to look burned on the outside,” even though we kept telling him the issue was the bitter taste. This wasn’t a quick disagreement , it turned into a 30-minute heated argument, all over a burger we didn’t even eat. It honestly felt like he was having a bad day and decided to take it out on us. He never apologized once and he escalated the situation and even asked if we “wanted to fight outside.” I have never been to any restaurant where an employee gets that aggressive over a simple request. He told us to leave, so we asked for to-go boxes.And to make it even worse, he started telling other customers what happened to get them on his side. We felt completely disrespected and embarrassed. My husband knows the owner well, as both are from Bangladesh, and whenever the owner is at the restaurant he greets us warmly and ensures the food is good quality. We spoke to him last year about this same bitterness issue, and he explained that it happens when the grill isn’t cleaned often enough and the meat gets burned. He also promised he would notify his employees to clean it regularly. I have full video proof of the staff member’s rude and aggressive behavior (not posted anywhere, kept only for the owner), and I will be contacting him again to address this humiliating incident.

I used to really enjoy this place, but the last two visits have completely changed my mind. The first time, the food didn’t taste right, but I let it go. I decided to give them another chance, and I regret it. This time, I asked for my meat to be well done and instead was served it rare. I’m pregnant, so I absolutely cannot eat undercooked meat — this isn’t just an inconvenience, it’s unsafe. On top of that, the texture was so off it felt like I was eating raw ground beef. It’s extremely frustrating to be looking forward to a meal and then not even be able to eat it, especially late at night. After years of coming here, I won’t be back.

We have been loyal customers here for years, but the last two experiences have been completely unacceptable. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first failure, but it’s clear this place no longer cares about quality or service. The first time, the food tasted way off. This time, it was far worse—they sent us rare meat after we specifically asked for well done. My wife is pregnant and cannot eat undercooked meat. This isn’t a small mistake; it’s careless, dangerous, and shows zero respect for their customers. Honestly, I literally feel like I’m eating raw ground beef. Now she can’t eat the meal she really wanted, and it’s midnight. Completely ruined our night. This level of negligence is inexcusable. Never again.

I ordered a steak dinner from Yummy Burgers through DoorDash, and what I received was completely unacceptable. The steak was practically raw in the middle—not rare, raw. You can clearly see from the pictures that it wasn’t cooked properly at all. I understand different doneness levels, but this was clearly undercooked and unsafe to eat. I ended up wasting my money because I couldn’t eat the food. It’s incredibly disappointing to pay for a hot meal and get something that looks and feels like it was barely touched by heat. I expected better quality and food safety from a restaurant. Definitely will not be ordering from here again.
