📍Nuno's Tacos & VegMex Grill-- Richardson, TX @nunos.tacos I HAVE HIT THE JACKPOT!!! 🎰🌱🌮🍔🧀 I have known about Nuno's since I've been living here in TX and I am just now trying them! 🤦🏾‍♀️😩🤯 They have AMAZING menu items & now I want to try everything!!! 🔥🔥😉They have become my favorite VegMex Restaurant 🗣️🤷🏾‍♀️ I had their Vegan Mexican Chopped Cheeze Sandwich which was made with their Busted Ranchero protein chopped with vegan cheese, lettuce, vegan mayo, I added grilled onions instead of the raw onions, vegan @Violife cheeses! When I tell you this was a 10/10!!!!! & I also tried the 5ct Taco plate which are 5 mini corn tortillas and you can choose which proteins you would like to add... I chose: Nopalitos en Masa (Cactus), Mole Poblano Jackfruit and the Barbacoa Hibiscus flowers🌺 (which were my favorite!!!! ) #Funfact : They make their Barbacoa out of hibiscus flowers and when I tell you the texture is soooo on point!! 🤯 I'm going to get all of the tacos Barbacoa style from here on out!!! I recommend them all across the board! & I can't believe I have been sleeping on them... I'm awake now & I can't wait to try more menu items! 😋 #VegMex #Hibiscus #Barbacoa #RichardsonTX

Nuno’s is still my favorite vegan restaurant in DFW! All of their food tastes SO GOOD and they have tons of options! I’ve been eating from Nuno’s for many years now and am so glad they continue to thrive in the Dallas area! I would recommend anyone who is vegan or just loves Mexican food and other comfort foods to try them! I’ve tried many things over the years and the 5 ct. taco plate with beyond meat is still my favorite. The rice and beans are so good, too! Everything is yummy—and the shakes! I love their vegan food so much—it’s worth a try if you haven’t had them yet! Thank you for your yummy food Nuno’s Tacos & Vegmex Grill! I hope you continue for many more years to come!

Delicious food with wholesome ingredients made from scratch. Their hibiscus tacos and feta fries are incredible. It’s a walk up window with 2 tables outside, which is why the atmosphere is a 4, however I truly don’t care where I’m eating this food - it’s seriously that good

No pretences place with very nice vegan food (whole menu is vegan). They can seat a few people if you call in advance. Ordered a chimichanga, which I ate after a very long time. Waitress/chef/manager was extremely nice!

Nuno’s has the largest vegan protein options and so many different foods. The vegan fish tacos and vegan chicken sandwiches are amazing! Everything is delicious, but these two dishes stand out because I haven’t seen them anywhere else in Dallas. It’s a take-out place, so ordering ahead is a good idea—you get a text message when your order is ready to pick up from the window. Definitely visit them whether you’re vegan or not!

10/10 would recommend! The Birria tacos are delicious! By far the best tacos I’ve had in the US! Their burgers are also great. Whatever you may be craving, they likely have it. Note: they’re only doing to go orders. Just keep that in mind. No dine in is available. Still great.

I started with the BBQ taco, served on 2 flour tortillas, and was comprised of everything you might find on a plate of brisket with sides and pickles !! Very tasty and a nice portion ! I also tried the enchiladas mole with jackfruit which were unfortunately somewhat dry. The flavour of the mole though was wonderful. It was served with rice and refried beans (which were a little bland). Overall a great vegan meal though.

Okay I think I’m obsessed!!! 🤭 I occasionally go vegan and whenever I do, it’s always so hard to find good vegan food! Not here, though their food is bomb! My favorite would probably be the Crunch bar, but I haven’t gotten into a miss yet!🥳 They’re faithfully GOOD & the pretty girl who works the window is so nice! 🫶🏾

The first time I came to Nuno's was Thursday! found out it was takeout only, and you order online; so cool ordered and waited in my car! It was definitely worth the wait! My favorite dish is the pozole it was so good that I came back the next day to get more as well, I tried some empanadas that were delicious ! My husband had the american cheeseburger with fries and chikn tenders! Didn't take a picture of that! But the presentation was good. Totally recommend! I'm glad I found a 100% vegan place that is actually good!

Best Vegan Mexican you will ever have. Everything was SO good. The owner is very passionate about the vegan food and it shows it through his food. Kendra is the wait staff and she was so helpful and attentive. Will definitely go back. Far from where I live but want to go back soon for some more great food. I am not even a vegan but I never thought vegan food is this good!!!

Pretty good vegan food. I have had mixed results with different dishes. The food ranges from slightly over priced to very overpriced depending on the item. The potatoes salad is small and $3.50 it’s also very spicy and tangy which I didn’t care much for IMO. You have to order ahead and the wait is usually pretty on the time they tell you when you order but it never really is hot but not quite cold either. The portion for the salsa is tiny for the price as well. I’m not ready to give up on this spot yet since vegan Mexican food is kinda hard to find. And I do think the ingredients are fresh and all homemade for the most part.

My first visit here. Long time vegan/vegetarian. The food was tasty. The sauces are interesting and very spicy 🌶️ which isn’t a negative. The people are very kind and helpful. They are in a strip mall of various types of businesses. You can eat outside at 1 of 2 tables. There is a window to use for ordering. Our food was brought out to us. You order from a QR Code on the door. I had the John Wayne tacos. My friend had the falafel burger. Everything was really tasty. The hamburger bun was not interesting, and for the price of the burger, that would be a good thing to have a better bun selection for that burger. We ordered fries, and they were good and hot and fresh. I ordered a small Mac n Cheese. All food here is vegan which was really the best thing of all!

The customer service was terrific. If I could rate it off of that alone, it would be five stars. The food for me was just okay. I ordered ahead of time because I really didn't have a choice. When I arrived, I was informed I'd get a text when my food was ready. There were two tables with four chairs, so my husband and I decided to eat there once we received our food. I ordered the burger, birria tacos, empanada, loaded tots, and a margarita. My burger was okay, but $13 for the bun to be hard in certain spots, and for that price, I prefer Burger King Impossible Burger over this burger. The empanada was amazing. Hot, fresh, flavorful, and probably the best thing from the order, but I'll pay another $7. I thought I was ordering the loaded nacho fries but was confused with the order process when I saw an additional $3 for fries and nothing for tots. I assumed that the title states loaded nacho fries, that fries were included, and that tots were on the side if selected. Anywho, I received the loaded tots with everything on the side, which was fine, but the tots were cold. It was not worth $15, and my husband trashed it, but I was told to try the fries. Lastly, I tried the birria tacos. The dipping sauce had no flavor or taste and was very greasy. The taco wasn't horrible, but the vegan meat substitute was chewy and dry. I would retry this place, but I would have to be cautious about what I order.

This is NOT a restaurant. This is a TAKEOUT-ONLY establishment, with no seating or table service available. Orders must be placed in advance using a smartphone, which may be a barrier for some. Despite these requirements, we managed to order a sampling of their offerings. We are writing this review after two separate visits to the establishment. The dishes were well-made and presented, and the vegan substitutions for familiar Tex-Mex flavors were mostly satisfying. However, we were less pleased with the significant amount of fatty oil present in each dish. While vegan cuisine has the potential to be remarkably healthy, we couldn't attest to the health qualities of these particular dishes. We also read comments left by a person claiming to be the owner right here, on Google Maps. The tone and content of that interaction did not leave us confident that this person is a responsible business owner, and we wish him success in repairing his ways (if he is indeed the owner). We hope the next step for this restaurant will be to develop a range of dishes that are not only tasty and ethical but also genuinely healthy, benefiting both customers and the environment. Veganism is, after all, also beneficial for the environment. As ordinary consumers, we are not paid or compensated in any way for this review. We are always looking for reliable and transparent businesses and hope the owner will take this feedback into consideration.
