A very easy location to find. Once you arrive the appearance is very modern and clean. I have had Halal Guys in NYC, so having it close to home is awesome. The best thing about this place is, there's only a couple option. It's nice and simple; you can pick from platter, salad or sandwich. I personally like the beef platter, extra spicy!!! Don't forget the white sauce, it's delish. I usually ask for the sauce on the side so I can dress it to my liking. Anyhow, it's a must try.

We were there on September 23rd and it was our first time there. I had the Beef and Chicken Gyro combo plate. It started off pretty good, but then after the light coating of the white sauce was consumed the rest of the meal was just ok. I should of asked for a lot more. The flavor of the beef and chicken were pretty good and they were tender. We will go back again but I will make sure to ask for more white sauce. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. The staff was nice.

Went there for Lunch. Place was crowded but line was not very long. They had about 5-6 people working there. Got the regular platter which came with one Hot Sauce and 3 small pieces of Pita bread. They charge you for extra hot sauce and everything else you want to add. Platter was very carefully filled with more veggies and less rice and chicken. I enjoyed it for the hot sauce which was the bomb. I recommend it to only people who love hot sauce, otherwise its just a regular chicken over rice.

I would have given it 5 stars but when I told the guy the drink machine was out he told me he will handle it when he gets a chance. No sir I paid to get a Dr.Pepper and you are not doing anything now go fix it now. It wasn’t until the end when it was fixed so I will not give this establishment 5 stars like it would have gotten. I went on 10/12. Besides that the combo platter was really good and the fries. I had ate a third and took the rest home and ate the next day.

I recently visited Halal Guys and left extremely disappointed by their customer service. I ordered three regular meals and wings and tipped 15%, but when I asked for a red sauce sachet that was part of the meals I paid for (but hadn’t taken initially), I was told I’d need to pay for it. To clarify, I wasn’t asking for anything extra—I was simply asking for something that was already included in my order but hadn’t been given to me at the time. The fact that they refused such a simple request, especially after spending a good amount on food, was frustrating. What really upset me, though, was the dismissive attitude of the staff when I pointed out that this should have been part of my order. Small courtesies like this go a long way in customer service, and their unwillingness to accommodate was disappointing. I will not be returning after this experience.

I hate to rate Halal guys 2 stars but the Eyelashes lady (I don’t know her name) on Friday 11/1 was unprofessional and rude . for no reason that I’m aware of. She was whispering almost every single word and I had to ask her to repeat or just let it go. I asked for restroom’s code she kept whispering 3 right 3 left or 3 left 3 right I tried both it didn’t work. Ended up not using it I asked for hot sauce to go in bag she wouldn’t give me she said she already put two lines in the plate which made my plate too spicy.

My friends and I came to this establishment and paid $40.76 for our food. I went back to ask for the aluminum bowl, and I was asked to pay $12.94, equivalent to a regular platter price just for one…

Food is greasy, tea is weak, service is rushed counter service. I don't get why people rave about the white sauce. Looking at the ingredients it's mayo with some tiny green specks I couldn't taste.

The flavor of the food is severely lacking. The rice is dry. The chicken has no flavor. The white sauce is not as creamy or flavorful as it used to be and also the red sauce is not even spicy. The quality has gone down significantly, and the service is lackluster, and the price is way too expensive. I paid $18 for a regular chicken plate and fries. Not worth it at all. And I’ve eaten at the street cart before they even open restaurants back in the day and I’ve eaten at this location a couple times throughout the years and this was by far the worst. What a waste of money. Update 2/21/2026 time 2156. The food is giving me food poisoning. Do not eat here!

I ordered online in the app a regular combo player with raw onions and peppers, a side of hummus and a 6 PC. Of falafel. The meat was old, dry And greasy. They didn't give me any raw peppers and onions on my food, the hummus was splitting like it had been sitting in a war spot all day instead of being refrigerated and they shorted me on the falafel 🤣. I used to go often when i moved to Richardson but this location has steadily gone down hill.

Came in to get a platter for my wife and I- the workers don’t seem to care or listen to what the customer has to say. When they didn’t put the wrong ingredients on my platter, folllowed by the wrong amount of sauce I asked for- I decided to ask for 2 hot sauce packets and they wanted to charge me more. Now I normally don’t have issues paying for sauce packets anywhere including this chain at other locations, the staff usually attempts to listen and be somewhat apologetic when they screw up. Extremely frustrating- I m usually not the type to write reviews let alone negative reviews but this was poor training, lack of caring and lastly 0 effort for recovery.

Ordered a beef platter with onion, no tomato, and a LITTLE bit of hot sauce. Key word Lite. Small amount. Not very much. They drown my platter in hot sauce and I couldn't eat more than 3 bites.

Extremely disappointed in the customer service at this location. My husband loves eating here, however every time we come, no matter how polite or how many times we say please and thank you, the lady at the counter is ALWAYS rude. This has been mentioned several times in the reviews, this establishment is allowing poor customer service to turn away good paying customers.

I visited The Halal Guys near US 75 & Richardson. While the food was okay, the customer service was very disappointing. The Hispanic lady working right now with glasses at the counter was quite rude, which made the overall experience unpleasant. Good food should be paired with respectful service, and unfortunately, this visit fell short.

I usually enjoy the food here, but this visit was disappointing. The lid wasn’t closed properly, and everything fell out when it was handed to me. On top of that, I was charged for a big bowl even though I had originally ordered a small. The hispanic lady staff member working right now who handed me my food gave me an unfriendly look, which made the experience uncomfortable. I hope management addresses these issues, because the food itself is great.

EXTREMELY STINGY AND MONEYMINDED. For 15$ you get half bowl of lettuce which i can buy for 50 cents. Very stingy in giving meat, even for giving rice and white sauce, they express like someone is trying to rob them. Try to charge extra for little bit of sauce as well. Even with soda, they charge so much and not give cover lid because they don't want anyone to drink remaining soda outside. I've regularly visited halal guys at NY streets and always felt very happy and fulfilled. Visited 2 locations in TX and felt unhappy and robbed. Staff too show ' I don't care attitude ' while talking to customers.

I'm incredibly disappointed with my recent experience here. I was excited to go because I had a free platter on their app. After ordering I was told I had their old app and that they would not be honoring my coupon for the free platter. They also left off my soda so I had to pay for it separately. Then when I got to work with my food they didn't even put the white sauce on my meal like I asked for. They put some other sauce on it that I've never had before. (It's not good.) This experience has really soured me on this place.
