Delicious food!
Honestly amazing
Great place
Very nice coffee, and judging by all the "oh wow" from the table of little old ladies in the corner, I'd say the food is really good too lol
Amazing non hipster coffee shop.
Love C Lo Cafe! 100% recommend! I got the D’s scone which was super yummy. Charming atmosphere and all around great spot!
Delicious coffee and super cute ambiance inside. The cheddar scone was tasty but a bit dry.
C Lo is always open in the morning, life saver. The team is really friendly and super hard working. I highly recommend the Tocino Huevo Queso.
My favorite coffee shop. Great coffee (especially the cold brew), baked goods, sandwiches, and an amazingly friendly staff
This place is cozy and the food is great plus the portions are just enough. I’ve been here three times and all three times the employees never disappointed.
Excellent food and service at this small local Cafe. Enjoyed the creative brunch and coffee.
Omg such a good place, the food is amazing, really good price and tasty food 🤤.
Great coffee and food. I've enjoyed everything I have tried on the menu!
A neighborhood gem that has never disappointed over the years. Honorable mention to the iced horchata latte and Chapin wrap 🥰
Very friendly staff and wonderful food and coffee. Right by my house and we love it
Good price for good food. Great coffee!
Great little spot for a cappuccino & breakfast. One of my go to places in the neighborhood.
Great vibes with extensive breakfast and food menu! Awesome find
Very friendly staff. Great coffee and avocado toast.
Perfect small little coffee nook. Kind workers, and the coffee is delish;)
Great breakfast/Guatemalan food, very friendly service!
Great customer service Best breakfast sandwiches Cozy spot
Had a great Guatamalan breakfast!
Really good coffee and egg sandwiches
I'm such a fan of this place. The staff is amazing, the coffee is fantastic, and you have to try their BEC sandwich! Best coffee shop in Ridgewood!
This place makes me so happy. I order from here almost every time I visit my bf for over a year now and they never disappoint. Nice staff, clean place, and consistently great food. The breakfast wrap is incredible I never get tired of it.
Happy to say that I’ve become a regular at this awesome, delicious little spot. Expect tasty staples like breakfast sandwiches, French toast, and bagels, but also more complex flavors like the Guatemalan breakfast. It really is a gem, and not to mention the coffee: Toby’s Estate coffee now right in the neighborhood 😲!! Always polite, and super fast- you can’t go wrong. Tell your friends!
Have to be honest, at first I didn’t really have high expectations of this place due to its location, it’s kind of in the middle of nowhere… however, I have been pleasantly surprised. I suffer from gastritis so often even small portions of coffee (especially of low quality) can easily hurt my stomach. However, I found myself having coffee at this place almost every day for a week and not even once did I feel sick afterwards. Plus the workers are very nice and polite. The only complaint I have is that they serve their sugar in a container and not in packets (which in my opinion is more convenient for the customer, they do have Splenda packets but I try to put in sugar whenever I can), but that’s a minor point. Overall very satisfied 👍👍
I love love love this place. The people that work there are friendly and genuinely care about the food they serve. They have a great customer service and oh yeah the food is some the best ive had in ridgewood. Ive been coming here for a couple months and love it so much. The coffee is good and strong.
Home run. Every time. Everything I’ve ever gotten is delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The service is consistently warm and friendly like you’re at a friend’s place and they’re making some food for you. My favorite local spot, especially for breakfast. Really hope people stop sleeping on this place. The corner it’s on has a long history of businesses opening and closing. Praying this one sticks around. A true diamond in the rough.
Perfect spot in ridgewood. Their brisket grilled cheese is to die for especially when hungover. C.Lo offers coffee & food made freshly with love every taste of the way. This place offers vegan options too!
I’ve been here several times now and have always had a great experience. The food and drinks are always delicious! The staff are always kind and attentive. Definitely recommend C Lo Cafe 🤎
Highly recommend this place. Ordered the guate salad with cilantro lime dressing and omg the ingredients were so fresh tasting - super delicious! They had a balsamic vinegrette dressing option as well. Also had the brisket tacos with a chimichurri type sauce on the side. Equally as delicious! Will try breakfast next time.
Really good egg sandwich on a brioche bun really good value and coffee. Can tell the people who own the place put a lot of love and care into the place.
This place is a gem. Lucita recommended the chilero sandwich for breakfast and it was delicicious. I haven’t tried the traditional Guatemalan breakfast yet, but it’s next on my list.
This is spacious, modern, and inviting atmosphere of Ridgewood coffee shop, exceptional espresso.
Went there today and honestly, the place exceeded my expectations. The brisket sandwich is really good 10/10. The coffee was great and i really liked that that have non-dairy substitutes. The staff is friendly. Something that I also take into consideration when leaving this review is the fact that the staff is bilingual (spanish) so that’s always a plus. Overall it was a great meal and a good experience.
This is hands down my favorite breakfast spot in Ridgewood or really anywhere. The food is incredible. Everything is made with love and care. The people who work here are so kind. I have to go here at least once a week. I often find myself craving this food. Everything I have tried has been delicious. Great spot for vegans. I usually get the vegan tacos or the Guatemalan traditional. If you are feeling super indulgent, try the grilled cheese French toast.
Clean, friendly, creative menu, VERY healthy and lots of seating considering it's a neighborhood coffee spot. Professional baristas, decent coffee roast, & fast service during rush hours. I've eaten there a lot & it's always been consistently clean , delicious and served at appropriate temperatures. Eg: coffee still piping hot, not tepid. Everything on their menu is good, my personal favorite is the Aguate Toast, it comes with avocado & a healthy garnishing of sesame seeds, alfalfa etc Highly recommend 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Nice little spot in ridgewood, ordered a breakfast wrap and a cortado. I think i’ll come back for the Guatemala breakfast.
The Brisket Burger and C.lo bowel was on point. Coffee is also good.
Very nice small cozy place 😊 have what I love, almonds croissant and blueberrie scone my favorites ❤

Decent prices and respectful of customers. Food is fulfilling! 👍thumbs up.
I love the food is always fresh and the taste delicious I tried most of the plates they have, I love food and the love they put on it.
I order from C. Lo every morning - the food is delicious and I never grow tired of it! I occasionally go in person, and it’s such a cozy spot with really lovely people working there! It’s also dog friendly, which is a huge plus :) I highly recommend the Guatemalan Traditional for breakfast, such a healthy and tasty treat <3
The people here are so nice and friendly. I got an iced matcha latte with coconut milk. It was a little too sweet for my taste personally, but well made (and I bet they could adjust the sugar if you ask). I can't wait to come back and try the traditional Guatemalan breakfast!
Really good experience and decent prices. Fast service. One thing I will comment on is that is not the best study spot since the chairs are not comfortable, and the music is loud. They do have wifi, so it was useful in a pinch.
I am so happy this place was able to make it through the pandemic. It's truly a gem in the neighborhood and is a much better experience than just going to dunkin. The workers are always so friendly and the seating that's outside now is so nice. LOVE the cold brew the quality is amazing and it's actually cold so the ice doesn't melt right away (a huge pet peeve of mine). The food is always so fresh as well! Prices are fair for a local coffee shop and I'm always willing to tip on top of it because I like to support their business. Would definitely recommend for brunch on the weekend or to grab coffee or breakfast during the week.
The lady in the front (I think she is the owner) was so sweet and welcoming. The food was to match the energy! There’s something on the menu called the this was my first time here and Guatemalan breakfast and it’s easily my new favorite. And the apple cider was so good
Stopped in for breakfast while running errands in the area. Cute little place with friendly staff and delicious food. Will definitely go again next time I'm in the neighborhood!
The breakfast burrito with plátanos and crema is seriously so good. Made with care by the kind employees, clearly! And the drip coffee is very reasonably priced and tasted great. I’ll be back

A pretty simple coffee shop with tight and limited seating, but still a nice place to stop into for takeout or a quick recharge
Nice, good service and delicious coffee
My breakfast sandwich was fresh and delicious 👌
Standard good - not incredible but solid
The coffee was very good, and the food presentation and ingredient quality was great, but we found the taste of the dishes to be pretty bland. We got breakfast tacos, which were mostly egg, no beans at all, and scant veg. The avocado toast with smoked salmon was a great price for the quality, but the bread was not nearly toasted enough and again considering the richness of the components was lacking flavor. I'd give them a try again, but I probably wouldn't order those specific items. That horchata latte, though... A+!
The food menu and pastry options here are great. The staff is very friendly and the seating inside is comfortable but definitely a little cozy. Coffee wasn't my favorite here though but it got the job done and wasn't very expensive so I (and probably you) shouldn't complain.
Today visit the CLo cafe, a place to welcome in the Ridgewood area, specifically in Gate Av, Central American food and international delights. I recommend it, excellent to taste a good coffee and eat any of its good desserts. So, I encourage neighbors to come to the place and share!
It's cute and tiny, very good friendly service. Small portions of food and expensive. My quesadilla was yummy though and would like to go back and try some other things from the menu.
A decent little cafe serving good ice coffee drinks. The staff is friendly and very apologetic when they got my order wrong. I drink the ice horchata latte instead of what I ordered but it was great! I’ll come back for sure.
Was around the area, the ladies behind the counter were very uplifted and welcoming. Small space but lots of options. I ordered the Guatemalan traditional breakfast and clo bowl. Good, would visit again only for coffee and desserts.

In theory I like this place and in theory it’s great…but Ridgewood may not have as many options for cafes as say like, bushwick, but clo is still a decent option if other spots are full. Service - is always great Atmosphere - the atmosphere is close. It’s just a narrow miss for me. Specifically my critiques are the size of the space, which I know…it’s New York. But look, this is about atmosphere and if the atmosphere doesn’t make me want to sit and sip milk and espresso then it’s a miss Food- the menu is refreshing but a bit overpriced. I remember spending like $30 for 2 bowels and not really being impressed. Overall CLo is still a solid option if you live nearby but maybe don’t make a trip for it
A bit overpriced for basic ingredients. The food was ok, edible, not terrible, but lacking in flavor. Maybe some specialty sauce? Something unique to the restaurant? $30 for a lox and eggs and beans wasn't a great choice. First time as a local maybe next time I'll try the coffee. I mostly saw people getting coffee and leaving. Room for improvement.

I’ve been going here since they opened. Staff is a bit different now. Service isn’t the best and unfortunately neither is the coffee anymore. You’re better off just ordering a drip or an ice coffee. There’s a guy that makes the coffee and takes about 20min to pull a shot and always seems frantic. A woman that works there too, can watch the line grow and not help him out either. I asked for a macchiato and he gave me a latte. And then told me that In there store that’s what a machhiato was. When I explain I was just looking for a shot of espresso with a bit of foam He did offer to make it again, but gave a cappuccino. I come here to support local businesses, but I do understand why people go to variety instead.
Overpriced and bad service
Horrible coffee and the French toast is a scam 17$ for a dry French toast don’t waste your time or money there
Ordered French toast on Grubhub, seemed fine until I went to put the syrup on, which was 90% water. Cheap move.
I was disappointed with my recent Grubhub order of French toast, as the syrup that was provided with it was mostly water. This felt like a cheap and unsatisfying way to save money, and it ruined my experience with the meal. I would not recommend this establishment due to the poor quality of their food and the lack of care put into the customer's experience.
What a rip off! Me and my girlfriend decided to try out this place. It's a tiny place with 3 small round tables to dine. We ordered breakfast to stay. Ordered 3 scrambled eggs with EXTRA bacon and 2 toast, a single avocado toast and 2 coffees. $31.00 !! They don't even bring it to you. You have to pick up at the counter. It's served on a aluminum take out tray. I asked for 3 scrambled eggs which looked like only one egg was used, extra bacon which was grand total of 4 tiny slices of bacon. Coffee was so so served on a 7 eleven style paper cups. We were so turned off we decided to take it home. Don't even waste your time. Wasn't even close to worth it for what you pay for!
Terrible service. Walked in and didn't even get acknowledged in such a tiny place for about 3 minutes. Girl at counter had such a stank face and kept giving her mother attitude. I ordered 2 coffees and some food, only received one. When I asked for the other, she told me I only ordered one and she only charged me one. Then she ordered me another and refused to take my card because there was a minimum. It was her error! The mother sees that there was food ordered and said to the girl you didn't tell me to make the food. So the lady had been cleaning instead because she wasn't told there was a food order. I asked for my money on the food back and left. Get rid of the counter girl or teach her some hospitality.
