C.Lo Cafe Ridgewood Reviews
This place is a gem. Lucita recommended the chilero sandwich for breakfast and it was delicicious. I haven’t tried the traditional Guatemalan breakfast yet, but it’s next on my list.
This is spacious, modern, and inviting atmosphere of Ridgewood coffee shop, exceptional espresso.
Went there today and honestly, the place exceeded my expectations. The brisket sandwich is really good 10/10. The coffee was great and i really liked that that have non-dairy substitutes. The staff is friendly. Something that I also take into consideration when leaving this review is the fact that the staff is bilingual (spanish) so that’s always a plus. Overall it was a great meal and a good experience.
This is hands down my favorite breakfast spot in Ridgewood or really anywhere. The food is incredible. Everything is made with love and care. The people who work here are so kind. I have to go here at least once a week. I often find myself craving this food. Everything I have tried has been delicious. Great spot for vegans. I usually get the vegan tacos or the Guatemalan traditional. If you are feeling super indulgent, try the grilled cheese French toast.
Clean, friendly, creative menu, VERY healthy and lots of seating considering it's a neighborhood coffee spot. Professional baristas, decent coffee roast, & fast service during rush hours. I've eaten there a lot & it's always been consistently clean , delicious and served at appropriate temperatures. Eg: coffee still piping hot, not tepid. Everything on their menu is good, my personal favorite is the Aguate Toast, it comes with avocado & a healthy garnishing of sesame seeds, alfalfa etc Highly recommend 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Nice little spot in ridgewood, ordered a breakfast wrap and a cortado. I think i’ll come back for the Guatemala breakfast.
The Brisket Burger and C.lo bowel was on point. Coffee is also good.
Very nice small cozy place 😊 have what I love, almonds croissant and blueberrie scone my favorites ❤

Decent prices and respectful of customers. Food is fulfilling! 👍thumbs up.
I love the food is always fresh and the taste delicious I tried most of the plates they have, I love food and the love they put on it.
I order from C. Lo every morning - the food is delicious and I never grow tired of it! I occasionally go in person, and it’s such a cozy spot with really lovely people working there! It’s also dog friendly, which is a huge plus :) I highly recommend the Guatemalan Traditional for breakfast, such a healthy and tasty treat <3
The people here are so nice and friendly. I got an iced matcha latte with coconut milk. It was a little too sweet for my taste personally, but well made (and I bet they could adjust the sugar if you ask). I can't wait to come back and try the traditional Guatemalan breakfast!
Really good experience and decent prices. Fast service. One thing I will comment on is that is not the best study spot since the chairs are not comfortable, and the music is loud. They do have wifi, so it was useful in a pinch.
I am so happy this place was able to make it through the pandemic. It's truly a gem in the neighborhood and is a much better experience than just going to dunkin. The workers are always so friendly and the seating that's outside now is so nice. LOVE the cold brew the quality is amazing and it's actually cold so the ice doesn't melt right away (a huge pet peeve of mine). The food is always so fresh as well! Prices are fair for a local coffee shop and I'm always willing to tip on top of it because I like to support their business. Would definitely recommend for brunch on the weekend or to grab coffee or breakfast during the week.
The lady in the front (I think she is the owner) was so sweet and welcoming. The food was to match the energy! There’s something on the menu called the this was my first time here and Guatemalan breakfast and it’s easily my new favorite. And the apple cider was so good
Stopped in for breakfast while running errands in the area. Cute little place with friendly staff and delicious food. Will definitely go again next time I'm in the neighborhood!
The breakfast burrito with plátanos and crema is seriously so good. Made with care by the kind employees, clearly! And the drip coffee is very reasonably priced and tasted great. I’ll be back

I'm such a fan of this place. The staff is amazing, the coffee is fantastic, and you have to try their BEC sandwich! Best coffee shop in Ridgewood!

A decent little cafe serving good ice coffee drinks. The staff is friendly and very apologetic when they got my order wrong. I drink the ice horchata latte instead of what I ordered but it was great! I’ll come back for sure.
Was around the area, the ladies behind the counter were very uplifted and welcoming. Small space but lots of options. I ordered the Guatemalan traditional breakfast and clo bowl. Good, would visit again only for coffee and desserts.

A bit overpriced for basic ingredients. The food was ok, edible, not terrible, but lacking in flavor. Maybe some specialty sauce? Something unique to the restaurant? $30 for a lox and eggs and beans wasn't a great choice. First time as a local maybe next time I'll try the coffee. I mostly saw people getting coffee and leaving. Room for improvement.
