Siamo stati due notti al Borgo e lo abbiamo trovato davvero perfetto, un posto di innegabile fascino, curato, con una personalità tutta particolare. La vista dalla terrazza del ristorante é davvero fenomenale, non saprei come altro descriverla. Al ristorante si mangia molto bene e i prezzi sono molto abbordabili, ma soprattutto lo staff, Marco in particolare, con noi é stato squisito (ci ha anche dato dei consigli per il mare del giorno dopo che ci hanno davvero svoltato la giornata. Per cui grazie Marco!). Unico suggerimento che mi viene da fare é di mettere un bollitore con un po' di caffè solubile in stanza. Fare i cento gradini senza caffè, per fare colazione, per me é stato sfidante 😂 Ad ogni modo davvero andateci, non resterete delusi.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornare al Borgo di Campi ed è stato bellissimo. La vista stupenda sul mare da ogni lato della struttura ci ha permesso di godere di un ottimo relax immersi nella natura e nel silenzio, e comunque a pochi minuti di autobus da Riomaggiore! Ci è piaciuto molto anche il solarium con doccia solare e l’atmosfera e vista mare, anche dal ristorante. Ringraziamo lo Staff per la disponibilità e la gentilezza che ci ha riservato nell’offrirci un upgrade di camera e per averci spiegato tutto il necessario per il nostro soggiorno. Consiglio a tutti questo spazio perché ci è piaciuto molto ed è perfetto per chi cerca un punto d’appoggio per dormire, rilassarsi, mangiare se mai anche nel ristorante e poi visitare tutte le Cinque Terre. Tutto perfetto, anche il prezzo! Grazie ancora, speriamo di ritornarci presto

We stayed at a nearby hotel, and after a long day visiting the villages of cinque terre, we were looking for a romantic view for a nice dinner. Beautiful setting, very kind service and delicious food! (Havent seen the rooms, but i suppose the must be good for a 4-5 star rating)

Wonderful stay at il Borgo di Campi! There are many stairs down to take down to the rooms but the view is so worth it! Everything was really nice all we were missing were a few wine glasses and a bottle opener. This place felt like a little oasis and it was definitely my favorite area to be in. The bus comes quite often so it’s easy to hop on to get into Riomaggiore—after visiting the towns, we were glad we stayed off the beaten path! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean! Highly recommend!

A very beautiful natural place. The view is magnific and the smell of the sea and natural herbs is incredible. The only disadvantage is that you need to walk a lot of stairs all the time. Not such a bad thing after all if you want to improve your physical shape and to loose some weight. The restaurant has a limited offer and I don’t recommend the sea food. Nearby it is a taverna style place, Nico, where the service schedule it is longer and the menu is much reach. Access to the natural beach implies profesional hiking on a steep rocky slope with a duration of 45 minutes to descend and 1.5 hour to return. Over all a good value for the money.

We just spend the most lovely time at Borgo di Campi! Honestly I can’t believe how some people have left such bad reviews! The hotel has the mesmerizing view of the ocean and is built beautifully with a lot of cute decorations and flowers and trees. It was mentioned that it would be around 200 steps to get to the rooms, so we were prepared. The rooms were as expected, we had a kitchenette with dishes and cutlery. The restaurant was also pretty good. Overall, you shouldn’t expect a 5 star hotel room, since it is a two star hotel and it is relatively cheap , but the location and the view is one of a kind. Also regarding the parking space, we traveled by car and there was a designated parking space for the hotel guests.

The view was unbelievable!!!!! I went there last year with my family, and I remember how shocked I was when I first saw the view. I had to come back again this year with my friends to show them the beauty of the place and Cinque Terre. The rooms are outdated, for sure, but the view beats that. Il borgo di campi is a true definition of vacation! The staff is so friendly, and they provide the bus schedule for a ride to Riomaggiore. this place is a must. come and stay here!

Had a really lovely experience here back in June 2022 and would absolutely visit again. The views alone are a huge reason to stay here and they offer free on-site parking. You CANNOT really drive into any of the Cinque Terre cities easily so this was great for us to be able to park here. The food at the restaurant was amazing. The agriotourism vibe that the whole place had was truly lovely with fresh grapes everywhere and beautiful flowers. Has a ton of stairs (about 200 steps) to reach the private studios so be warned if you can't do stairs well. Staff members were all very kind as well.

Amazing place and incredible value for money. The views from this place are absolutely breathtaking. Room was clean and with a/c, nothing to complain. This is a "rustic" place, don't expect fancy elevators or servants. I read comments about the 200 steps and having to carry your luggage....It is displayed everywhere before you book it!!!! I'm 54 yrs old and over 200pounds and was able to manage all those steps with no problem..... The people serving were amazing and had great attitude at all times. They produce their own wine which was really good!! You can't start your day wrong if you have breakfast with such an amazing view. I stayed with my kids and we all enjoyed it a lot!!! I suggest you park your car at the hotel and take the bus to Riomaggiore to visit all Cinque terre using the train and avoid the hassle of parking (and money). In short ..... This place is great value for money and would have stayed more if we hadn't been on a tight schedule.

Honestly I laughed at most of these reviews , This place is on a side of a hill, on a winery.. Yes there is bugs, it's in the middle of nowhere at a winery, if you have never camped and maybe never seen the outdoors I can see where it would be hard. The staff was so friendly and informative. Yes sometimes the main office wasn't open, but this is a family business running a restaurant, hotel, and winery so they are busy yes .. Rooms were a little outdated yes, But the views were amazing The stairs sent a huge deal, you are in Italy ! The pesto pasta was the best I've ever had!!! It's a must must must try ! Dinner at the top has amazing views and other great food. If you don't want to put a little effort in with the stairs, go stay at a super 8 This is a great hotel, friendly, must try ! Will always recommend this place

Absolutely loved staying in this charming hotel. It's peaceful and the views are unreal. Not to mention that the staff is friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here. Bring your hiking shoes, there is a trail to the top of the mountain just across the street. Or take an easy bus trip into riomaggiore for €2.5. Or just sit back and relax at the hotel and enjoy the view. I can't wait to go back one day!

Luogo meraviglioso a picco sul mare. Ogni appartamento ha il suo terrazzino o il giardino privato. In fase di prenotazione consiglio di chiedere la vista mare perché non tutti gli appartamenti (come il nostro), ne sono forniti. I 200 gradini per scendere agli appartamenti non sono faticosi, e offrono scorci davvero unici all'alba e al tramonto. Per chi ama il trekking come noi ed è quindi ben attrezzato, la location è perfetta perché a 30 minuti a piedi dall incrocio dei vari percorsi (AV5T, 530...) che ti portano a visitare tutte le 5 terre a piedi. Abbiamo mangiato in appartamento quindi senza provare né cena né colazione per cui non possiamo valutare.(ricordatevi di portare o chiedete se gli appartamenti sono dotati di olio, zucchero, sale e caffè; nel nostro non c erano. Unica nota dolente motivo per cui non ho dato il massimo di valutazione, la pulizia dell'appartamento all'arrivo, davvero pessima, e lo dice una abituata a dormire nei rifugi montani. Cura delle parti esterne ottima, tranne che per le sedie di plasticaccia consumate ormai dal tempo Il personale accogliente e cmq disponibile ad aiutarti. Dimenticavo: ricezione internet quasi assente come il segnale wifi. Non so se è dipeso dalla lontananza dalla reception, o dal brutto tempo, ma è stato un disagio.

Gli appartenenti sono immersi nel verde e in un panorama mozzafiato. Ottimo il ristorante, la pasta con il pesto le patate e i fagiolini è squisita....molto buoni i restanti piatti. Camerieri molto gentili e professionali

Sicuramente una location stupenda. Personale veramente gentile. Ideale per chi desidera passare qualche giorno in completo relax senza spostarsi. Personalmente ho trovato un po' una presa in giro richiedere per 2 volte l'appartamento con vista mare...e trovare una visuale in parte coperta dall'appartamento davanti (come da foto). Ho trovato anche poco gradevole trovare stoviglie e bicchieri talmente usati che si vedevano i segni. In ultimo avrei preferito trovare nelle informazioni all'interno della stanza, che il trasporto bagagli (fatto con un piccolo trasporto su rotaia), bisognasse prenotarlo il giorno prima, invece di scoprirlo chiamando la reception pochi secondi prima dell'ultimo giro di trasporto bagagli. Nel complesso lo consiglio vivamente, ma solo se si desidera stare nella struttura per tutta la durata della vacanza.

La location è di grande impatto, in quanto la vista è spettacolare, inoltre è presente un parcheggio riservato agli ospiti del residence, cosa non da poco alle 5 terre. Certo gli scalini per arrivare all'alloggio sono tanti, ma è ben specificato durante la prenotazione. Per quanto riguarda le camere, si vede che occorrerebbe qualche attenzione in più e se sopra capitano persone rumorose, potrebbe risultare difficile riposare. Tutto sommato ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene, anche al ristorante annesso all'hotel.

Unwanted to share this review because there are a lot of negative reviews. I did enjoy my stay but Inread through the fine print before showing up sonI knew about the amount of stairs. That wasn't a surprise and we were back packing which might be easier to do the stairs. Sponsor heads up about some things 1. Restaurant and check in has specific times be sure to check. 2. If you can't do the stairs (or you have large suitcases) then book somewhere else. The stairs aren't particularly well lit at night..there is some light but when it was raining I needed my cell phone light. 3. If you rely on public transportation the bus schedule is not uniform so get it ahead of time. The taxi up from Riomaggiore ran me about 20 euro. Also beware of taking the bus around check out time in morning or in evening coming from Riomaggiore...small bus could be full and you may wait another hour. 3. No dish cloths but there is a basic kitchen. Taking out your own trash. 4. Humidity and wood furniture leads to a musty odor in rooms. If you have autoimmune reactivity to this sort of thing book somewhere else. 5. We liked it. Private and quiet. Doesn't suit all clientele.

I had a really good time at Il Borgo di Campi. I stayed in the Lilla apartment - beautiful ocean view. The apartment comes with a private garden which I used every morning to have my breakfast. The site offers many different things, for example a solarium, many small hang out areas with cozy chairs/hammocks, ping pong table, a dog zone (which was great for my dog!), a garbage point (they recycle garbage which is a huge PLUS for me :)). The bed was not extremely comfortable and the kitchen was minimalistically equipped - which was not terrible because I always bring some of my own cutlery just in case. ;) But everything worked well and was clean. I felt good and safe during my stay. I wasn‘t aware beforehand that there are chicken/roosters on site. I heard them every day, very early in the morning before sunrise. For me, that‘s OK but I can imagine some people would prefer to sleep in a bit longer. The site has direct access to the sea. It‘s a steep hike. You have to wear good shoes to go down there. Do not wear flip flops or sandals if you want to walk down safely. I personally suggest going with a second person since it‘s quiet dangerous in my view. The staff was very approachable, professional and nice. I had some conversations with them and they made me feel welcome immediately. In other reviews, I read that there‘s no help for carrying the luggage. That‘s not true! There’s actually a luggage lift that you can use. You just have to let the staff know the evening before. Reading the sheet of paper that they give you helps ;) Absolutely recommend a stay there for a good price.

Il luogo è incantevole. Posizione perfetta per chi ha bisogno di relax. Non adatto a bambini o persone anziane: i gradini per arrivare alle stanze sono davvero impegnativi. Suggerisco cura in più nei dettagli ( sdraio e dondoli rotti e problemi con Wi-Fi,Tv e illuminazione. La cucina ha solo l’essenziale: non ci sono tovaglie o tovaglioli, con qualche piccolo sforzo si potrebbe rendere più confortevole.

Sarebbero state 5 stelle senza neanche alcun dubbio. Location favolosa, appartamentini molto carini e curati, aree esterne di pertinenza ben attrezzate. Vista impareggiabile, solarium stra comodo e rilassante. Ristorante carino, personale gentile e cibo con materie prime selezionate. Parcheggio disponibile su strada per ogni ospite e servizio bus a 30 mt dalla struttura. Vivendo noi stessi in campagna siamo ben consci che qualche "visitatore" si possa palesare ma ciò non ci spaventa e men che neno gli scalini per raggiungere le casette, ben descritte nel sito. Unico neo, ma molto grave a ns avviso anche per l'impatto visivo, sono stati i tanti capelli (tanti) trovati accumulati in bella vista sulla parete della doccia. Una disattenzione ci sta, ma in questo caso pensiamo che chi dovrebbe pulire le camere abbia il dovere di prestare attenzione a questi macro errori/mancanze. Ci dispiace evidenziarlo ma le recensioni devono essere oneste e veritiere.

Panorama fantastico,tranquillità e relax assoluto. Concentrato in mezzo alla natura.Personale accogliente eccetto la padrona,presentandosi molto scorbutica e inefficiente. A primo impatto per come sono stata trattata non ci sarei mai più ritornata eppure il resto del personale è stato sempre disponibile. Camere attrezzate di tutto ma pulizia molto superficiale. La pecca più grossa o meglio il peso più grosso è stata la discesa con valigie di 200 gradini per arrivare all'appartamento..per il ritorno il borgo è munito di una sorta di trenino dove ti porta le valigie direttamente sopra,però penso che se avessero un servizio per portarle all'inizio del soggiorno sarebbe decisamente meglio. Per quanto riguarda il check-in mi sembra eccessivo dare la camera alle 15 perchè oltre a portare via mezza giornata,ospiti che vengono da lontano devono obbligatoriamente andare da qualche altra parte nell'attesa

The room was neat and clean and the area is beautiful but the car park is on a steep hill. Going down was fine for a 75 year old with two total hip replacements and one bad knee. We would not have booked this location if that information was provided in this hotel's description. There is no way to go up the hill other than walking. Residents are allowed to park at the bottom and sides of the hill and this hotel hasn't made any arrangements for help going up. It took me a long time via WhatsApp for the management to tell me there was a park bus but they had no information regarding where/when/cost or route. After talking to someone in a restaurant, I discovered there's a white va n that has a pickup in the City center for 2.5 Euros and you could ask them to stop near the parking lot. I ended up walking and a very nice resident saw me and gave me a ride up. Stress relieved

3 stars because it's a lovely place and for the stunning view. otherwise, there are hundreds of stairs to go to your room and the wifi is very poor. The room are quite dirty and one bed was under the roof and always extremely hot so we had to move the bed downstairs (very steep stairs).

The View Is amazing the place is peaceful and nice but you have to go down almost 160 steps stairs and up when checking out. The staff are not cooperative and nobody will help you to carry the luggage up and down. The is no room service but rooms are equipped with a lot of things. Pros: AMAZING view and setting (every lodging accommodation has access to this view), delicious restaurant overlooking the coast with personable service (we ate dinner there), the community room with TV was a plus because it allowed us to watch the world cup finals :) They also make their own wine and olive oil on site, which we gladly enjoyed and supported with purchases. They have scooters available for rent for 35 euro for a full day, which ended up being a great option for us, given the limited bus schedule (read below). Cons: Our room (Arnica room) smelled strongly of mildew, was very small, and did not have many options for ventilation. Front desk staff (I think the owners of the place) were unfriendly and seemed uninterested in our questions. Other things to consider: The hotel is a 20-minute bus ride from Riomaggiore's town center and the bus runs only every hour and stops running at 8 pm each night. It's also worth noting that in order to access any of the rooms you need to walk up and down a steep set of about 200 stairs. It was fine for us (minus the effort of hauling our suitcases) but would be a real barrier for anyone with a disability or limited mobility. It is, however, this staircase that allows for the breathtaking views that welcome you outside your room. Overall, you are paying for the views and access to an incredible setting. Don't expect over-the-top accommodation or service, or easy access to the five villages.

The room had no drainage, was cleaned with strong chemicals, and eventhough we kept the only opening, which was the door(no windows), open for the whole day, the strong fume was still there, i woke up in the night not being able to breath normally. The attitude was also not so welcoming, we felt like on the edge all the time(literally and figuratvely). that said, the view was amazing, we spent the night in the small balcony with our wine.

Struttura in posizione estremamente suggestiva, peccato che di per sé non è come sembra in foto. L'ho trovata trascurata e a tratti fatiscente. Poi la nostra esperienza in camera è stata ai limiti della decenza. Cumuli di polvere, ragnatele ed odori di muffa.

Scrivo questa recensione pur non essendo andata in questa struttura . Chiamo per avere informazioni generali e vengo accolta telefonicamente da un tizio in modo sgarbato e con aria da sufficienza . Se credete di acquisire clienti rispondendo telefonicamente come avete fatto con me state sbagliando strada . E poi una struttura senza colazione e’ pessima già di suo . Non consiglio pur non avendo visto la struttura . In Liguria consiglio di essere più gentili . Non bastano i luoghi occorre professionalità e gentilezza con possibili clienti che portano denaro

The Staff specifically Linda and Marco were extremely Rude and Unfriendly for no Reason. It felt as if we are staying there for free. The distance mentioned on the site about the beach and city centre is completely wrong. They have kitchen in the room but no spoons and other cutlery. There is no way to ask for it. Property manager changed our room which we had seen in the pictures. Room patio was shown outside the room but in actual it was quite far and dirty. The chairs and table were unhygienic to use even. You won't be able to get anything around the property so you are dependent on hotel restaurant which has very limited options and bad timings. Strongly recommend "NOT TO STAY HERE"

If you want to have a nice trip, do not book this hotel! Staff is rude and service is terrible. Had to bring my luggage up & down 200 stairs and almost fell many times. The beds are uncomfortable and if that’s not keeping me awake the horrible smell of mold coming from the bathroom was. They also scam you by charging you extra for cappuccino and cake at lunch, breakfast it’s 2€ but for some reason for lunch it’s 4€? I don’t understand why the time affects the cappuccino prices. Sad because the hotel has beautiful view but the people running the place ruin it
