River Ranch Cattle Company was an awesome experience. The steaks were cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and the portions were generous. The Western atmosphere is authentic, and the staff was friendly and attentive. A great spot for a hearty meal while at the ranch — definitely recommended !

Kandice was friendly making us feel at home! Her service was better than average, we never wanted for anything! She was one step ahead. The food was wonderful...you could actually taste the flavors..nothing bland or your average flavored foods. We will be back, with friends!

Having stayed at River Ranch a few times, but never visited the restaurants, we weren't sure what to expect. Well, we wish we had come to eat at the Cattle Company Chophouse sooner! It being a Tuesday evening, off season, there was only one other table seated at the time. Our server, Kandice, warned us she was the only server and apologized in advance if we had to wait longer. The service we got was actually better, quicker, and more attentive than most other restaurants I've been to in years! Since it was a weekday, the menu is a little shorter than the one we had looked at online, but Kandice went back to the kitchen and they were happy to accommodate what we wanted anyway! We started with the loaded fries for the 4 of us to share and they were absolutely amazing!!! French fries, mac and cheese, and pulled pork... words cannot describe how good this was! In short, the food was outstanding and the service was great! If it were closer to home, we'd be eating here regularly!

Our family of 4 was very pleased with our dinning experience. Fast service on a Friday night. Our table ordered the fried deviled egg appetizer and for entrees the sirloin, chicken fried steak, ribs and skirt steak. Everything was delicious but the skirt steak was the star! We also had the brownie sundae to go. It was nothing to write home about. If you are looking for a nice resturant option while at river ranch I recommend this one. Tip: You can make a reservation online through open table.

River Ranch Cattle Company is a total hidden gem! The vibes are super cozy and the staff is super friendly. But the food? WOW. We got the loaded baked potatoes and ribs, and both were insane. The potato was loaded with all the good stuff - cheese, sour cream, bacon, and chives. And the ribs? So tender and saucy. Definitely adding this place to our faves list. If you're a meat lover or just looking for a solid meal, you gotta check it out. Loaded baked potatoes and ribs are a MUST-TRY

Stopped by while passing through for a work trip from Tampa. Had to try the chicken wings! They were fantastic! I am no connoisseur but these were some MEAN wings! Stop out here to check this place out! A new water park is coming this summer!

Barbara was our waitress and bartender, she is absolutely amazing. I had a steak sandwich and a mixed drink that I’m not really sure what it’s called but it had honey lemon bourbon I believe and cinnamon. Yum Yum. I highly recommend.

Lesli and Yoni took real good care of us at the Chophouse! Every meal was fantastic and the service is quick and pleasant every-time. The staff is friendly and personable. The restaurant itself is so cute and I love the theme. We can’t wait to come back!

First time here! We are locals and had fun planning this trip overnight. Stephanie took excellent care of us Saturday night! Note to kitchen don’t run out of mushrooms I would have enjoyed them with my salted onions on my steak. Stephanie has great customer service professional articulate and friendly! From start to finish then we stopped back by our lodge before walking over to the Rodeo. The next morning we came back for breakfast. Amanda took great care of us too. The chef made a special omelette for my husband. A couple side notes that I hope managers see, the salt and pepper shakers Saturday night and Sunday morning were empty two different tables so perhaps someone can put that on their radar. Then, we know that this Resort is pet friendly, however much more important to be human friendly. Dogs should be on leash all over the property and we do not wish to dine with them. It is fraudulent and punishable by FL Law including fines and jail time to pass comfort dogs off as service dogs. If people insist on traveling with animals please have them refrain from bringing them inside in the dining room Resturant’s. Perhaps they could choose to eat outside. We plan on returning and bringing our kids and grandkids then we might even be able to enjoy some of the amenities we were charged for in the resort fee.

Stephanie was amazing! Food was very good! We enjoyed it immensely. The next night we came back and had Edward as our server. Again, amazing service and Stephanie was there to greet us again. The quality of service is super! We will definitely come back!!

Outstanding Service & Food! Let me first say they opened the restaurant for my family on a Sunday when they were supposed to be closed. I came in to make a reservation and was informed they would be closed until season the following weekend. I completely understood and went to think about when to reschedule. I came back to the desk and the manager, Clarissa, informed me that she was already working on finding the staff to open on the Sunday. I couldn’t believe what I heard. I said seriously? And she said “yes, I have servers, cooks, and bartenders ready to go tomorrow”. Stephanie, Anna, Jadalynn, and Kandice were all there will smiles willing and ready to come in on their day off. I beamed with happiness. That is the best customer service I have ever experienced. Brought happy tears to my eyes with how willing they all were to accommodate us, a simple party of 4. On Sunday we came in and the restaurant was gorgeous with holiday decorations. Kandice was our server and she was excellent! I wasn’t sure how the food would be, we all ordered filets. Food was 15 out of 10. Outstanding!!!!!! We will certainly be back. We live in Texas and the steaks were amazing. Thank you all so much. Outstanding!!!

I had a reservation for two at River Ranch Cattle Company, and my husband and I had a wonderful experience. The manager, Joseph, was very friendly and attentive, personally seating us when we arrived. Our server, Yolanda, was delightful, she gave us excellent recommendations, and the food came out quickly. The restaurant was packed, so it is definitely recommended making a reservation, especially on weekends. The food was delicious, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere lively. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Had a great experience with some incredible wait staff! Amanda and Kandice were both wonderful. Extremely friendly and very very helpful. We had a decently big group but they got our food out quickly and with small issues that were way out of their control. 10/10 recommend!!!

I had a great experience at the Cattle Company! They have several vegetarian options which was a plus. My server, Stephanie, was attentive, friendly, super polite, and funny! Their prices are on par with mid-tier restaurants in the greater orlando area, as far as burgers go.

River Ranch Cattle Company is located in the same building as the registration when you check into the resort. It's literally right next to the registration desk. We arrived to the resort on a Friday and had a reservation for 11 guests at 6:30pm. We ended up cancelling because we were going to just wing it for dinner. Funny enough, we ended up coming back here around 8pm after line dancing at the saloon to see if the restaurant could accommodate us. They were busy but they tried to squeeze us in. They were limited on servers. We were quoted 30 minutes. We were going to walk around and check out our options when they said not to go far as they may be able to seat us and make it work within 15 minutes. Sure enough, they did. Yayyyyyy! Our server Nicki was wonderful and did her best throughout the night. I think they were short staffed in the kitchen too because we waited a long time until our food came out. I want to say we got our food about 1 hour after we ordered it. Had drinks to kill some time and they brought out bread, but the kids were exhausted and ready to crash. We didn't get our food until about 9:30pm. Yikes. Luckily, the food and service was good to make up for it. I understand they were just doing the best they could at the time. It's tough though because Westgate was almost fully booked during this Easter weekend and they were short staffed. Very unfortunate as that kills the service and wait times. I had the Brahman Bull and upgraded the tequila to Casimigos Reposado. The drink was perfectly spicy with a beautiful presentation with Tajin rim and chili threads. So damn good! For dinner, I had the Palomilla steak which was cooked perfectly at medium rare. So juicy and full of flavor. My husband got the Nashville Chicken sandwich which was meh. The bread was too thick and dry and the chicken lacked the real Nashville kick and sauce. My daughter had the French Onion soup which was way too thick and salty. I asked for hot water to tone it down and it was better but I wouldn't suggest this. We came back for breakfast on Saturday morning and the place was fairly empty but again, they were short staffed and was able to accommodate our smaller group of 7 people. Sam was our server and he was great too. The breakfast was good and took a little long but not quite as long as dinner the night before. Overall, the food and service was good but the wait times on everything was a real killer. I hope they are able to get more staff to accommodate the demand.

We dined here twice during our stay at River Ranch. While the service was a bit slow due to understaffing, the staff’s friendly and positive attitude made up for it. Anna, the hostess, was a breath of fresh air both nights, and our waiter Samuel provided excellent service on the second night. The skirt steak with chimichurri sauce was outstanding, and the sirloin was flavorful. We also enjoyed the Cajun-seasoned fries. For dessert, the s’mores experience was a delightful treat. Overall, it’s a great place to eat, and we highly recommend it.

Okaay.., third time coming here…, second time sitting at the bar. Sitting at the bar you will have the BEST experience. They hire amazing bar tenders that are knowledgeable, friendly, and want to ensure you have the best experience. Tonight I had Niki, who made me an amazing smoked old fashioned (best I’ve had thus far) and another drink called “the 8 second ride”. Absolutely amazing. If you like old Fashioned’s or a sweet old fashioned this is the way to go. Had the filet with loaded baked potato and was surprised with exceptionally roasted garlic and their bread with their special honey and spice sauce that was Devine. It was so good I ordered the exact same to go so I could have it again Tomorrow when I travel in my motorhome. It’s a go to. The smoked Old fashioned is reason enough to come. The filet was cooked to perfection and the 8 second ride is now my new favorite drink. All of their bartenders are exceptional but Niki went out of her way to make sure I had a special night. Great place!

I normally leave great reviews. Although this one is more feedback. This place has all the right tools and space. However always seems to be understaffed. Seems like a mismanagement scenario. Food is always Ok. Some items are better than others. I’ve been here several times, Food is never consistent Hope to see improvement. Cheers.

We had a pretty average experience. The ambiance is generic as it’s just off the lobby, but the service was fine. Their version of the blooming onion, was not cooked correctly and the onion pedals did not “pull out” easily so we had to cut it up with a knife and the portion of dipping sauce was very small. That said, it tasted good. The coconut shrimp was totally overcooked (see my pic). I would have sent it back, but that messes up a family dinner and we had a toddler so we didn’t have time for a re-do. Wedge salad was ok. The other meals were fine. Great skirt streak. The sirloin was cooked perfect, but was a bit tough. The Chimichurri dip saved it. When you order a beer, be clear to say can or draft. They have potential, but it missed to mark last night. VictorB

I believe RRCC has so much potential to be a killer place to get a steak, but there are some things they need to put some serious work into. Let's look at the pros and cons of this steakhouse. First con: We arrived at 6pm and were seated immediately. Within 15 minutes, the place was pretty packed. It was 30 minutes before my wife got her cocktail and 45 minutes before I got mine. We realized during this long wait that not only was there only a single server for the entire restaurant, but that waitress was also the bartender. We got our food about 1:15 after arrival, and finally left after being there for about 1:45. I asked the waitress, (who truly was working very hard) if this was normal, and she said no. I have my doubts though. If you read through other reviews, service speed seems to be a problem. Second con: The food. Not a good thing to have on your con list! I ordered the 10oz sirloin. First red flag was that I was never asked how I wanted my steak done! I prefer my steak medium rare/medium. It came out medium well and pretty dry. I give them the benefit of the doubt and I assume this was because they were under staffed in the back and cooking too many dishes at once. Maybe on a slow day the steaks come out great? My wife's salmon wasn't bad thankfully, and my daughter got pulled pork sliders which were pretty good. The burnt ends mac and cheese was pretty good too! So not all bad. The steak, however, is critical in this review because this is in fact a steakhouse. Third con: There are supposed to be 8 beers tap, and all were empty but one (Kona Big Wave). Now for the pros: Service! Of course, overall the service was terrible because of the crazy wait times, but I'm referring to the quality of the staff. Our server deserves a bonus because this poor woman was servicing like 15 tables, shaking up endless cocktails, clearing tables, and even making the desserts!! It was something to behold. The hostess stepped in to help big time and was constantly leaving the hostess booth to run drinks or clear off tables when she could. They were all so friendly and sweet too, which says a lot considering the stress they were under. Our server genuinely apologized several times throughout the night and that went a long way with me. She is definitely the reason I didn't go even lower in my star rating. Second pro: The cocktail menu was pretty awesome! We both loved our drinks, which were very creative and well thought out. The whiskey menu is pretty awesome as well. They have Pappy Van Winkle which is badass! Third pro: The atmosphere of this place is great! It truly is really well decorated, the bar area is very cool, and the menus are well done as well. I really liked the overall ambiance, and if everything else had gone well, this place would be an awesome place for dinner or drinks. So they're you have it. Tons of potential, and I think it's very possible that on a slower day (or a day when they're staffed appropriately) you may get a 5 star experience. If I come back and things are better, I'll gladly change my rating. Pro Tip: I got there at 6pm on a Thursday. I spoke with another person staying on the property and she got there at 5pm the same day and said service was significantly better for her. Maybe getting there early is the real trick with this place.

Overall, it could’ve been better. The atmosphere was really good. I had reservations for 530. Got there early by five minutes. Waited another 20 minutes to be seated because the hostess said there was people ahead of me even though, as I could see more than half of their tables were open and clean. So we sat down. We did another 10 minutes for our server to even greet us. Finally got our waters after 15 minutes didn’t get drinks until 30 minutes in appetizers came out at good timing, but our dinner food was forgotten about and not delivered in a timely manner to where it was just warm and you can tell it sat underneath the heater for too long I no longer fresh and hot. It still tasted good and it definitely still tasted good the next day. For the price of the whole entire experience, I’m not that eager to go back. I know I will because it’s one of only restaurants on site at the Westgate River Ranch. I do recommend it because maybe it was just an off night. I just hope next time I’ll be better and you guys have a better experience yourself going.

The service was friendly and good. My ribeye was overcooked and tasted like it had been over marinated in a very salty marinade that made it almost inedible. It was maybe 1/2 inch thick, which makes it very difficult to cook correctly, and didn’t have much marbling. My wife enjoyed her fried chicken sandwich though. The atmosphere was great and nobody minded all of our kids running around making a ton of noise. Overall, good experience but I recommend staying away from the ribeye.

While the service was outstanding, the overall food selections were subpar. We dined here with some hesitation based on other reviews, but our wanted to give it a shot. The bread and hamburger were good even with the kitchen completely botching the hamburger order submitted by the server. The flatbread and steak were not good. The flatbread was lacking in toppings and character. The sirloin was tough and flavorless. While the atmosphere was okay, it was nothing to write home about. This is a location we would not return to.

Dining in Friday night, the restaurant was about half filled. On arrival, we approached the hostess stand where two ladies were watching something on one of their phones. We stood there for a moment, waiting to be recognized at which point we felt like a burden more than a guest. The overall dinner experience was horrible as we were overcharged for drinks (they billed us for Patron, which we never asked for), and the food was absolutely not worth the price. The ribeye ($46) had absolutely no flavor or seasoning and was borderline dry. The bartender brought over a canned beer with warm glass and left. I walked back to the bar and asked for a cold glass and was told they didn't have any. Craziness for the prices they want you to pay but have absolutely no care in the world. I've never seen such a place care more about revenue rather than overall experience and quality. Save yourself the money and the disappointment, eat somewhere else or bring your own food.

What a trap! Slow Service, almost not existing - overpriced mediocre food! The picture shows the loaded Potato for $8 with bacon, sour cream and chives, that was a joke - so was most of the food we ordered throughout the menue. They can only survive because it is on the Westgate River Ranch and other Restaurants are 45 min away, so Guests that stay here have to eat here.

Service wasn’t great. I got my drink and my hubby waited 20 mins for his soda she forgot. Steak was over cooked. Nothing had flavor. Didnt get drink refills until we were done eating . Waitress not very good.

We had a reservation for 7 booked for this past Saturday the 13th booked a week in advance. We were sat and proceeded to wait 20 minutes to get drinks from the bar. Mind you we got there at 5 o’clock and the restaurant was less than half full. We put in our entree orders and waited another 45 minutes. When we receive our food it was room temp at its warmest and and three of the dishes were cooked incorrectly, one burger came out basically raw and two steaks came out medium well and dry when they were ordered medium rare. We made the issues known to the waitress and she made adjustments right away and was great. My issue is with management. Both floor managers were notified three times that we had issues with our experience and they gave empty promises to come speak to us. It was only when our waitress stated she was grabbing the manager above them that someone came over. He spoke to us for all of 30 seconds and gave a less than convincing apology. We didn’t care about comping or the money, we were more upset by the lack of accountability by management.

This was a terrible experience. We had a reservation for 2, we were on time and got the table right away but took almost 20mins to get acknowledged at the table. Ordered a loaded potato as appetizer, waitress brought something different. We ordered a burger and ribs, the food was good. They never brought the loaded potato. We ordered 2 beers, we wanted to take the remainder on one home, asked for a plastic cup, only for the waitress to discard the remainder of the beer without our consent. Overall food was good but service was terrible.

Steak and potato came out with chives(requested no chives). Manager took steak and potato back washed steak off and brought steak back and said potato would be out shortly. I asked for steak and potato to come out at same time (hot). She was polite about took steak back. I guess set under warmer as steak was dry no juices and potato was hard as a rock. My husband got a steak potato and salad wedge. We both had a sweet tea. They took my meal completely off , so my husband's dinner plus my sweet tea was $85. BTW, my husband's potato was hard as a rock, although he didn't send it back he just twirled around it and made it look like he took a bite. I am sure it would be a great restaurant for locals if they would hire a better cook that understood what a good cooked baked potato was. Sorry will not be back and will not endorse this restaurant. Go into town and eat a pizza, you will get a better outcome.

Staff were nice and it’s alright sitting even though it’s just a hotel lobby. But I’ve tried this place 2 and both times ordering different food made me sick. For a place pretending to be a cattle farm or southern spot doesn’t know anything about cooking. Everytime for myself or my wife the food is flavorless and poor beef. We both have been sick each time and the fact they charge like a good restaurant is crazy

My family was in view of the bar TV where my 5 year old was watching Cardi B half naked. When my father in law said take a look. My wife asked them to please change the channel as it was inappropriate. Not 5 minutes later the Bartender was on the guide putting it right back. At this point I went to hostess stand and firmly told them we asked for it to be off turn it off. "I want a manager" Mind you my table was 10 feet from the stand. They didn't hear what I said. The manager comes up and I kid you not she said "I'm sure she didn't mean to put it back on. And we don't tolerate yelling in the restaurant." Whaaa!!! That was the food and beverage manager I was told when I spoke to the main manager later and she apologized. Next I ordered a burger medium and fries got a fried to death burger and baked potato. Server non existent. And at the end to top it off she smirkly says 20% gratuity it automatically added to your bill and walks away. Unbelievable don't waste your money on this dump.

We had a party of 10 and 1 persons food was possibly worth eating 4kids the checken tenders were so over done they couldnt eat it. Our loaded baked potatoes were not loaded by any stretch, steaks were grey like they microwaved them in a bag not one grill mark. The food was terrible we went home hungry ... wish google would let me post the pictures 🤷‍♂️

Went several nights in a row, always in a rush to get out and about after dinner. Was very disappointed to realize gratuity had been included every night but not disclosed when given the check. Left several voicemails with the restaurant asking for a follow up as well as several e-mails, all of which have not received responses.

Skip the restaurant. After reading the reviews, let it go bankrupt. Reservations at 6, all they had was outside by the horse stall which hasn’t been cleaned in a few days, so that’s what you get to smell. Multiple tables forgot about, short staff… what a disaster. 630 we finally got waters and by 7:10 the bill came as we waited for the main course for 3 people. Rodeo starts at 730, so we will eat in 20 minutes or less and miss the rodeo? Damn failure of a restaurant if you ask me. Won’t be back. Tipped full, the waiter isn’t the problem… it’s a lack of management periodT. Apparently this is normal for the reviews. Total failure and waste of $100 for 3 people and our time. Never again. Bread was good. 7:11pm and still waiting for the food. 6pm reservations. Maybe that’s why they brought the bill already, so we can dine and dash. Can’t make this up.

Disappointing Birthday Dinner Experience Date of Visit: Saturday, September 27, 2025 Rating:★☆☆☆☆(1/5) My wife and I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, hoping for a memorable steak dinner. Unfortunately, it turned into a disappointing evening that we'd rather forget. The Good Coconut Shrimp Appetizer - These were the highlight of our meal. Really delicious and well-prepared. The Old Fashioned Cocktail - Excellently crafted. The bartender clearly knows their classics. The Bad The Steak - This is where everything fell apart. The steak was tough, hard, and nearly impossible to chew. I couldn't eat it and ended up leaving the entire entrée on my plate. For a restaurant that presumably specializes in steaks, this was unacceptable. Poor Service Recovery - Despite leaving my entire steak uneaten, the restaurant still charged us for it. No manager came by to check on us, no offer to remake the dish, nothing. This lack of care on what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration was deeply disappointing. My Wife's Margarita - Mediocre at best. A 6/10 - drinkable but nothing special. The Outcome We were so unsatisfied that we had to find another restaurant afterward just to actually eat dinner. On my birthday. That says it all. Final Thoughts When you leave a restaurant on your birthday still hungry and have to find food elsewhere, something has gone terribly wrong. The appetizer and my cocktail were good, but they can't make up for an inedible main course and staff who didn't seem to care.
