Opinions de Faded bistro and Beer Garden Sebring
There is a little, sprawling nook of a beer garden not far from the idyllic circle in historic Sebring. From the outside it looks like a simple hedge, yet walk through the portal gate and find yourself in a secret tropical garden outdoor eating area, a vibrant indoor bar, and even a beachy play space complete with a food truck and a massive tiki hut. Laughter is everywhere around me this cheery Sunday morning as the crowd rolls in for brunch. If you are a party of four or more, you might need to make a reservation to be sure to have a place. Yet, if it is just you or you and a friend or your larksome children, they have a little portico nook for us where no reservations are needed, “come…sit…be welcome!” Crab cakes egg Benedict are simply sublime. Such a pleasure to savor, both with the eyes and the feel in one’s mouth. There crab cakes egg stands up to the very best I’ve had up and down the Eastern seaboard. Warm apple crisp with brown butter cinnamon ice cream. Good heavens! What a perfect finish to a fabulous meal. Add a shot of the local JF Haden’s Espresso Liquor to your coffee and you find yourself in a contented blissful space, listening to the laughter and quiet chatter of happy fellow guests, who feel like hidden friends you didn’t know you had. Waitstaff are top notch worthy of the best tips, for they carry the ambiance and laughter from table to table and offer solid suggestions on food choices.
We were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in Sebring. We are just visiting fir the weekend and had yet to have a quality restaurant experience. Faded changed that for us! The atmosphere at night was beautiful and the staff was attentive. As for the food, the steak was amazing and well worth the $47. The shrimp was good but a bit overpriced. That being said we saw the price and still ordered so that is our choice. It was nice to have a good food at a great location.
Always enjoy a meal here when visiting family. To sit in the outside patio area is heaven. Waited to take pic when it emptied out from Sunday Brunch. So nicely shaded to make it doable on warmer days.
Wow, what a great place. I'm new to the area and found this restaurant on Google. Full bar but I was looking for dinner. cocktail menu had some interesting combos. I tried the Granny's cocktail. I was refreshing and tasty. I decided to have the fish special. It was a grouper in white lemon wine sauce with wild rice and asparagus (grilled). My meal did not disappoint me. Delicious! They had a nice selection on the menu for all tastes. I will be back and bring the family too. I suspect you may need reservations on weekends since it was so good. They have an outdoor patio and inside too.. Great Vibe! Wonderful 👍😊
My husband and I chose this restaurant because of its reviews. We were so happy with our server, Gabby, and the owner, Mina, that we went back for brunch and oven-fired pizza at The Backyard at Faded the next day. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is delicious, the customer service is exceptional, and though all three visits were 5-star, we never felt like we were at the same place because there are so many different, unique places to dine. Definitely would go back!
I absolutely love this place! Jenn is the best bar tender in Florida I swear.. this was by far the best Bloody Mary I have ever had! I also had the Grits bowl which I ate and forgot to take pictures! Faded is definitely worth the visit.
When my dear friend visited me from Chicago, I suggested a leisurely lunch at Faded Bistro & Beer Garden after hours of shopping. We sat outside in the enchanting garden and enjoyed cocktails and small plates. It was most relaxing. Our server was very welcoming. We took her advice on what dishes to order and we were not disappointed. I definitely will return.
A great place to eat! a little on the exspensive side but the food is definitely worth it! Great staff great outdoor seating it's like a jungle.
The ambiance and the service were incredible. Normally, I dont.eat outdoor, but this place is enchanting. We tried the blue cheese burger (B&B) and the crab cake. The string truffle oil potatoes were delicious. Highly recommended on your next visit to Sebring, FL
We decided to visit Sebring as we have been watching Hometown Trailer on HGTV. It was so wonderful to see the circle so full of life and almost every storefront with a business. This was a wonderful place. The atmosphere was incredible with their tables situated throughout their garden. My wife ordered the turkey and cranberry salad and very much enjoyed it. I had the Havana sandwich with chips. The chips were homemade and very tasty. Prices were spot on in my opinion.
I had the pleasure of visiting Faded Bistro and Beer Garden today, and it was a truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The service was impressively quick, and our server was both friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right throughout our meal. The restroom was clean and well-maintained, which I always appreciate as a reflection of a restaurant’s overall care. We started with the truffle fries for the table which were a hit with everyone! Perfectly crisp, flavorful, and generously seasoned. The friends I went with ordered various salads, all of which were fresh and satisfying. I chose the Bistro Philly, and it exceeded my expectations: juicy, packed with flavor, and served piping hot. The accompanying fries were crunchy and delicious which is just the way I like them. After our meal, we took a stroll through the beer garden. Even though the day was a bit overcast, the space was charming, with lots of greenery and flowers that added to the relaxed, welcoming vibe. Overall, Faded Bistro and Beer Garden is a gem for the area and a great spot for a casual lunch, catching up with friends, or even a first date. I look would definitely recommend it to others!
If I could give more stars, I would!!!! My husband and I retired in 2024 and decided to move to Highlands County. Our 32nd anniversary was last week, and we chose Faded Bistro and Beer Garden for our anniversary dinner. Needless to say, Faded Bistro and Beer Garden will be our anniversary dinner location from here on out. We will definitely be back for other meals as well. To begin with, the atmosphere is so welcoming. We loved the rainforest feel as we walked in. The hostess was so polite and sweet when she sat us at our table, that we felt right away that we would enjoy our experience. Our waiter, Davis, came over to take our drink order and tell us about the specials. He was extremely knowledgeable and appeared totally excited about his job. We really enjoyed listening to him and talking with him. We felt like we had been coming to Faded Bistro and Beer Garden for a long time and were regulars. Everything that Davis recommended (and a few things that we chose on our own) was absolutely amazing. We started off with the calamari and one of the specials, the potato balls. We had never had potato balls before, so we didn't know what to expect. WOW!!! They were very tasty. The calamari was the best outside of a Hawaiian restaurant that we had eaten at years ago. For our entrees, my husband went with the Caribbean shrimp, and I chose the catch of the day. The portions were very good for the price. The taste of both dishes blew us away. Everything was so fresh, well seasoned, and melted in your mouth. Not only was the protein utterly delicious, but also the sides were outstanding! Our compliments to the chef. The chef is obviously quite skilled and confident in their work that neither salt nor pepper was on the table, nor was it needed. All during our dinner, both Davis and Michaela from the bar staff were very attentive. Michaela noticed that my husband was wearing an Ohio State hat, and she came to him saying, "OH" to which he replied, "IO." She then began a conversation with us because she is from Ohio. That was so fun. Davis recommended the orange cake for dessert. We don't typically have dessert, but since it was our anniversary, we decided why not. That was so moist and flavorful. It was a huge piece which we shared and still couldn't finish. The ambience was so chill and laid back that we felt like we were on an island experiencing island time and life. Thank you to all at Faded Bistro and Beer Garden!!!? You are truly a gem and have become our favorite local establishment. In fact, we'll see you very soon as a friend is flying in, and we are bringing her there for lunch. Thank you again for a truly remarkable experience!!
This place is definitely a hidden gem. The service was excellent! Our bartender/server Michaela and Laila were friendly and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be coming again!
Amazing find! The food is absolutely amazing! Drinks are on point! Service is %100, we went to celebrate our anniversary the other day and they took care of us!!
My husband and I enjoy finding new dining places, and we found this gem. The atmosphere at Faded was such a unique experience. The food was amazing! Their cheese and charcuterie board was so good. The 420 sour was delicious. And their desserts are heaven. I can't wait to visit again.
Great experience and delicious food! All of us had delicious meals. Service was great and fun atmosphere. Call ahead for outdoor seating with a reservation. It’s so lovely and lush with plants and flowering climbers.
Took my friend for the first time and we had a great meal. We ordered a few appetizers and one entree. The drinks were as always really good. I will keep going back and I recommend you try them if you are ever in Sebring.
Faded Bistro & Beer Garden is a beautiful outdoor spot with a fun, funky and relaxed vibe—exactly what I was looking for while killing time with my kids on a quiet Friday. While there wasn’t a dedicated kids’ menu, the staff made it happen with a simple and very spot on cheeseburger, fried plantains (amazing), and sweet potato fries (also amazing). The atmosphere was great, and my kids had plenty of space to politely explore while I enjoyed a solid margarita. Great service, cool setting, and a place I’d definitely visit again.
Really beautiful outdoor seating. Food was really good. I got the turkey cranberry salad. Service was awesome. Theu even brought me a bowl of water for my service dog
Make a reservation to get a table right away, they get busy. The wait staff make you feel like your at friends house. The drinks were great!! Fresh margaritas for $4.20. The food is spectacular and so is the ambience. I highly recommend you go there and treat yourself to an amazing dine in experience in the botanical garden surroundings.
We LOVE Faded ❤️ My parents live in Sebring and Faded is a must-stop every time we visit. We came in for brunch this morning. The food was wonderful as always and our server, Michaela (and the entire staff) were friendly, helpful, attentive, and patient with our group! Thank you for making our last morning in Sebring awesome (as usual 😊). See you all in November! Next time we will spend some time in the backyard!
Loved this place! Beautiful outdoor seating area. All the food we tried was delicious. The server was super attentive, helpful and friendly. Was able to advise us on allergens, and knew what ingredients were used in each dish. Definitely recommend and would love to go back again :)
What a great place to dine! Definitely make reservations and sit outside in the garden if you can. Service was top notch! All questions were answered by our server thoroughly. Food was excellent! Such flavors that exploded in my mouth. For appetizers we ordered olives and the hummus sampler. If you like hummus, you should give this a try. For entrees we ordered the rack of lamb, fresh catch of the day (corvina) and tuna poke. Fresh and delicious. If you are in the area, you definitely need to try this place out.
We stopped through Sebring to get my fiancé’s son glasses that he forgot at BC Billiards and we found this gem. What a great stop on his 50th birthday. Davis was very knowledgeable and friendly. We lucked out that it wasn’t super busy because a peaceful lunch is exactly what we needed. However, it looked like a fun night place to hang out. We highly recommend the crab cake but everything was wonderful!
We loved this treasure of a restaurant! We were in town for the track and just took a chance on this place. We arrived after dark and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful lights in the most beautiful garden! We decided to eat inside and it was striking as well. The ceiling was striking and the bar was impressive. Everyone was so friendly AND the food was great! Will go back when in town again.
Great food and service. Highly recommend!
5/3/25 hanging in the Back Yard, ghost Margaritas and pizza supreme - all good. 12/13 lunch with Mom and cousins. Everyone loved their meals. Our server Emma was great along with the others who helped out. For dessert i got a slice of the orange cake. It was really really good but i had to fend off everyone because there were 4 forks in it ;) 11/26 back for brunch w/mom. Nice & easy, Mom had the chicken and waffles & a side of bacon. She liked it and i had some of the bacon too (good). I got the grouper & grits again, very nice. I also had some of their house made hot sauce, it was more like a 'hot vinegar' (not temp) with cayenne peppers. I have to say, it was really good on the fish and would probably be great on fries. Similar to vinegar on fish n chips if you wanted to kick it up a few notches. [Photo] Was nice to see the friendly faces that work there and my friend W from SS :) 10/28 a wonderful 96th birthday lunch for Mom. Great food as always, Layla our server was great. And hbd to "Dev" too. 7/16 back for brunch with Mom and Linda. I had the grouper on grits, really good! Linda had the Croque Monsieur - she liked it. Good to see Jen & Jen and other familiar faces. 4/22/23 back for lunch w/Mom and friends. Note 2 self- no sauce on crab cakes 4 Mom. I had the grilled chicken sandwich - it was good. Then later on, we returned to have a beer and listen to live music! 10/29/22: back for lunch with Mom, finally got her out of the apartment. She had the crab cake, side salad and fresh fruit. She really enjoyed all the food. I had the street tacos (mkt catch= mahi) blackened. A side salad and potato salad - livin' large y'all- lol. It was really good. Our server, M, she was great, checked on us many times and made sure we were happy. 6/8/21 update: back with my cousin for dinner. We had calamari appetizer- good. I had the Caribbean shrimp - really good. He had the Duck breast and he said it was the best ever. Good beer and great service. Got to say hi to Mina. Upgraded to 5 stars for consistency. 10/30/18 update: back with Mom & friends. I had the pork tacos (photo) really good and plenty of meat in them too. Mom & friends also enjoyed their dishes as well. Service was excellent and super friendly. Had a margarita, it was ok. 8/11/18 update: returned with Mom for dinner. She had the crab cake (really liked it) & I had the Shrimp Caribbean(pic)- really good. Had a glass of the Cava sangria & a house Pino, both good. Thanks again. 2018: What a great spot and friendly staff. Took Mom here for lunch, she liked it. I had a steak sandwich, it was good. The broccoli slaw was good, a little too much dressing for my liking, but still good. Lots of good beer too, looking forward to visiting Mom again and retuning here.
What a great find here in Sebring. We stopped in for lunch and wander through the outside, which has so much character. Food was great along with the staff. If you want a quiet place for a nice meal, please check out this place. Only regret was that the pizza oven is open on the weekend. That would have been the icing on the cake. We will defiantly be back to try the pizza.
The food was delicious. We started with the meatball appetizer. They had great flavor with a little kick. I ordered a 420 sour which is a great summery drink. My husband had the secret whisky drink. It was divine. I ordered the Shrimp Caribbean which might be one of the best dishes I’ve had. There was so much flavor. It came on a bed of yellow rice, fried plantains pineapple salsa and I got the shrimp blackened. There is no need for dessert or drinks after this meal. My husband ordered the adult grilled cheese. It cane with apples on naan bread. He liked it a lot but felt it needed a dip or sauce to go with it. Our server warmed up throughout the meal but in the beginning he seemed extremely annoyed and bothered. We ate outside under this giant tiki hut with so many beautiful plants around.
We really enjoyed our first visit! As we entered the garden, we got this “enchanted garden “ vibe, warm breeze passing by, butterflies chasing each other, lizzies rustling below, then we were greeted by Tony, the chillest host we’ve ever had! Michaela welcomed us and sat us at our table, we ordered ginger ale and Riesling, crab cake for app, margarita and beef tenderloin flatbreads for entrees. The crab cake was amazingly delicious and the flatbreads cheesy good! The jumbo crab cake was huge and so satisfying, that we ended up taking most of our flatbreads home and they tasted even better the next day. We can’t wait to have their brunch next time!
Amazing food, tasty crafted cocktail, and great service (our waiter Cody was a pleasure to be around). We HIGHLY recommend this unique restaurant to anyone who is in the area of Sebring.
Needed a meeting spot in the middle of Florida and just happened to pick this place to eat. The only thing we are upset about is that we don’t live closer so we can go here all the time! The food was phenomenal, and our waitress was awesome! Super friendly but not overly checking in and making us feel rushed or anything. We also just happened to pick a table with games underneath! It was awesome to be able to take our time and catch up with everyone at the table while playing some games in between appetizers, main meal, and dessert.
It is a hidden gem if you don’t leave in Sebring and are just driving thru or visiting the area. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food was delicious and unique and the drinks were spot on. It is a bit pricey but worth it. And if you plan to go in the evening or weekend, it is highly recommended to make reservations.
Didn't eat as we sat in beer garden to watch Audio Cartel play, which they were awesome. Layla the bartender was phenomenal, friendly and attentive. Look forward to going back.
Just moved to Florida last month, and this place is a little gem! Our waiter was wonderful (regrettably I can't remember his name, I'm awful with names) and managed to convince my picky self to try the duck. It was great, and my boyfriend said his shrimp and grits were the best he'd ever had. The drinks were tasty, everyone who worked there was friendly and concerned about how we liked everything, and the surrounding garden-y area is beautiful. We took dessert home and that was very good too. Highly recommend!
My family and I love dining at Faded Bistro & Beer Garden when visiting Seabring. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. Even on a busy night, we still received excellent service from Mara. She was welcoming, friendly, and attentive.
First time here and we sat outside under the tiki. So cute. 😍 We will definitely be coming back for the Florida Man IPA. 🍺 The service was excellent. Our server, I think his name was Donovan, was polite and attentive. Everything we ordered for lunch was delicious. 😋 And for dessert, their homemade orange cake, OMG. 🍰
A reservation is suggested. (I always get one ) The food is excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient. Don’t miss this one if you’re in the area.
Amazing place. Visiting the area and googled food near me and this place popped up. So glad we found it! Great food and awesome atmosphere. The fresh salsa was devoured within minutes and hardly left room for the delicious Bob's burger and artichoke spinach grilled cheese! We sat outside in the garden and even were able to have our husky with us! They even brought her a bowl of water! Will definitely come back again if we find ourselves back in Sebring!
This place is like heaven on earth to me. Open air. Lush garden/greenery surroundings. Super friendly service. Amazing food. Vast and fun drink options. Love it! We started with their appetizer special of Parmesan crusted brussel sprouts. Then had the Shrimp Caribbean and a dinner special of Golden tilefish. Buttermilk pie for dessert. It was all wonderful.
My wife and I ate here after seeing its reviews. We were very pleased with our server, Gabby. The owner, Mina was also fantastic. She gave us a personal tour of the entire properties three different dining areas. We ended up going back for brunch and oven-fired pizza at The Backyard at Faded. Atmosphere is amazing, food is fantastic, and the customer service is exceptional. We would definitely would go back!
had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at The Faded Bistro in Sebring! I ordered the filet mignon, bruschetta, and fried calamari, and every dish was perfection — beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and cooked just right. The filet was tender and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, the bruschetta was fresh and vibrant, and the calamari was light, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere was just as impressive as the food. The outdoor setting was gorgeous, with beautiful weather adding to the perfect evening spent with good friends. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, enjoy great food, and appreciate the company you’re with. Highly recommend The Faded Bistro for anyone looking for a charming spot in Sebring with amazing food and ambiance!
Great!!! I had the blackened Shrimp Caribbean over saffron rice with fried plantains and mango salsa. It was fabulous. We also shared key lime pie. Also fabulous!!!
I’m from North Carolina and usually never trust eating out when I travel, I’m super picky and always afraid of getting food poisoning, but this restaurant completely changed my mind. I ordered the steak, and it was out-of-this-world incredible!!! The French fries were absolutely outstanding as well. But the real highlight of the night was our waiter, Kody (with a K!) — he was phenomenal! He went above and beyond in every way, and honestly, the only thing that could’ve made the experience better would’ve been him joining us at the table. The setting and décor are unlike anything I’ve ever seen (especially at night) — it feels like dining right in the middle of a jungle. What an amazing experience, I can’t wait to come back!!!! :) :) :)
This is an amazing place!! Had a few days drinks yesterday, bartender Jennifer was very personable and had a great atmosphere/vibe going on. Food was excellent! Highly recommend stopping in to check it out.
Pleasantly surprised by this little gem. The service was great. Greeted promptly when we walked up, they politely asked if we had reservations and then seated those guests first (as it should be). They found a great little spot for us on the patio. Nice house cab, nothing special but was good. On Wednesday, a selection of apps are only $5. We opted for the spinach Flatbread and truffle fries. Both delicious and the fries were crispy but not overcooked. Ordered the Havana (their take on a Cuban sandwich) and it didn't disappoint. Lots of meat, the pork was a tiny bit dry but otherwise outstanding. Also ordered the Philly and it was very tasty, the cut of steak was juicy and not overcooked. Both sandwiches served with crisps (house made chips). I'm not a big crisps fan but these were good. Peanut butter pie was just the right mix of peanut butter and chocolate. Devine! The waiter, Donovan was outstanding. We had a tiny mixup early on and he made everything perfect. We were undecided on Flatbread vs Truffle fries and he convinced us that we should do both!
Excellent food and libations. A bit pricey but worth it. The backyard bar and entertainment is wonderful on the weekends. New improvement to outdoor restaurant seating and specials on weekdays. The gardens are a joy to stroll thru and discover.
We drove an hour to come have what we thought would be a nice dinner. Upon entry we were greeted by the hostess who simply walked by us and said just a minute. We weren't even sure she was a hostess as she looked like she just rolled out of bed with bedhead. She had on a wrinkled t-shirt and not so nice jeans, photo included. When she came back she asked if we had a reservation and we said no but we'd like to sit outside on what looked like a beautiful setting. She told us in her snippy voice that although there were a lot of empty tables, they were all reserved so, she threw us on a high-top table right behind the hostess stand. After several minutes, our waiter came over and he looked like he was homeless with a dirty black stocking cap, dirty long apron, and dirty work boots, photo included. We promptly ordered drinks and an appetizer of Calamari. As you can see by the wine photo I included, the pour was pretty small and not worth the $7. The calamari was way over cooked and very rubbery. Despite our better judgement, we ordered entrees. I got the shrimp and grits and Jeff got the Caribbean shrimp dish, photos included. Surprisingly, the shrimp was cooked well but Jeff could have eaten 2 plates of the food they brought as it was a small portion. By the way, the patio where all the tables were supposedly reserved, never filled up. In fact, a group of 6 showed up without a reservation and were seated immediately. It's a real shame because this restaurant is in desperate need of a good manager and I can see a vision for a much better customer experience.
Unfortunately they allow dogs in the restaurant. In my opinion when you are charging high end prices for classy atmosphere. I don’t want to see my servers petting animals and serving us food !!!! Also watching the patroon feed the animal from plates we are eating from!!! Again just my opinion!!! 4 people drinks, appetizers, and dinner. Total bill $410 with tip !!!!
Service and their terrace environment were okay (min. expected), but the food they serve does NOT worth the price they ask you to pay. Salads adds may quickly turn a Caesar salad up to a 30$ salad 🤦🏻♂️, their “market catch” are kind of normal stuff. I will not stop here if I need to eat something around Sebring and will try something else. My opinion is that they should seriously review their prices, we come for a food experience not a terrace with funny signs.
