I have always enjoyed the best quality food and flavors Pick Up Sticks seems to cook up. Nice location in the Riverside Plaza area located next to the appropriately priced Regal Theaters. Plus, both the restaurant and theater have equally awesome customer service.

I have been a Pick Up Stix fan for years, but the Riverside Plaza store is real standout, both in terms of food quality and customer experience. On a recent visit to pick up an order I had placed using the Pick Up Stix app, I walked in and was told I had mistakenly ordered from one of the Orange County locations instead of Riverside Plaza. To the rescue came manager Caden, who immediately called the OC store, cancelled my order there, and placed me in line for the same order at Riverside Plaza. To be clear, this was my mistake, but Caden went above and beyond to salvage my dinner plans, and at no additional cost to me. What an incredible (and generous) gesture. Thanks Caden!

This pick up stix is one of the best in all of SoCal. The service. The food. The atmosphere. Everything comes bundled up into a fantastic and smooth sailing experience of Asian fusion cuisine. Come here if you want loyal and honest workers who treat you like family. Try the HS CHX the best. Lick your fingers kind of taste.

The crispy shrimp lunch combo is excellent and well worth the price. I chose fried rice and noodles instead of the wontons. The wait is a bit longer than expected, but everything was tasty so I can't really complain.

Best place for Fresh made to order Asian Food. It’s the only place that I have found to accommodate my food allergy. GM Chris always so very kind and helpful he makes you feel like you’re part of his family. His Above and Beyond attentiveness, great customer service really reflects in his whole team.

I have a thing for their house chicken. It's so good. I'll go to get an order of fried rice, house chicken, spring rolls and wonton soup when I want a meal. It only runs me like $20 which isn't too bad for a filling meal. I can't speak to many of their other items since I pretty much stick to the tried and true when I go, but I stick by it. It's good food.

Went to lunch here. Co-workers had a buy one get one so came out to a good deal. Food was fine yet a little heavy on the sauces for the house chicken and the chicken pieces are on the small side too. Overall not a bad deal, patio dining was the only option to eat there as indoor dining isn't yet an option.

On one occasion, we planned to arrive, but there were 15 minutes left and they already had the chairs upstairs. We decided to walk past it yesterday. I don't know what's going on at this restaurant. Before, we could arrive in 15 or 10 minutes and we could eat there. Now when we arrive, they're already mopping. Normally we live Pick Up Stix, But this time around at the Riverside location honestly disappointed us. The egg fried rice was so oily and every other time it has loads of fresh sprouts that are crispy and delicious, this time however was lacking in all regards. The chicken dumplings were mediocre and they gave no sauce with the order, so I had to go back in to request sauces. The spring rolls were the saving grace for the whole meal, without those it would have been a one star review but honestly they were done perfectly. We also tried the chicken with basil and cashew sauce, not terrible but the chicken seemed bland and a over cooked so it gave it a tough texture. This was a quick trip to Riverside to go to the night Market (also underwhelming unfortunately, there was a few good vendors and a beer garden but that's for another review) Anyway, first time to this spot and unfortunately this will be our last.

Food is ok, could be better given the price. A little too much soy sauce but is still good. The portions are lacking given the price. I ordered a portion of Kung Pao Chicken with chow mein and ended paying almost $17. I understand that this one may be more expensive because of the location but as a customer I didn't feel i got what i paid for. The bathroom had dirty towels everywhere and no soap in the dispenser. I hope to come back but want better service.

Been eating at pick up Stix for years this is the first time I got sick from the food. I brought a friend who had never been here before.got here about 645pm. We at Kung pao chicken and white rice, orange chicken and white rice and cream cheese wantons. By 2am we both had stomachaches and sweating. It was relatively mild. I'd still eat here again because it's never happened before.

The food was prepared to order in an open kitchen setting, served over the counter. I took my plate and sat outside, the setting was simple and nice. I was hungry and ready to enjoy my dinner. Unfortunately, I did not. The chicken vegetable with rise dinner plate that I ordered was disappointing. The sauce was apparently over-thickened with starch, it had a heavy starchy kind of taste. The chicken appeared unnaturally too white, flavorless with some unpleasant smell and taste.

On Memorial Day around 4:00 I had placed an order for a Signature salad with BROWN rice. When I went to pick it up the girl read the receipt but said WHITE rice. When I brought it to her attention that it was suppose to be BROWN rice she corrected herself n assured me it was BROWN rice. Since I was picking up food at other fast food places I did not have time to check it in her presence. My mistake because it was WHITE rice as she stated. Besides that the salad looked like they threw it in the container, no mandarin oranges, half the normal portion but still the same price. As far as I am concerned there was no excuse for the way the food was prepared, especially when it wasn’t even busy. There were 2,ppl eating inside at the time n the phone was not ringing off the hook. The quality of help these days is hurting businesses, especially fast food restaurants. These young ppl just DONT care about service

We ordered our food last night Saturday April 10th 2021 we picked our food On time. Our food was completely disgusting the noodles came out of the Box in a square gelatin form they were they were cold We paid for extra Chicken in our 2 entrees and Didn't receive the chicken nor the Brown rice we ordered. The chicken was mushy and cold it also came out of the boxes in a mush. When we called the store to speak to the manager we were told he was too busy And could not assist us with new fresh food nor refund I was to call back and speak to the manager in the morning. When my husband called to speak to the manager in the morning she was in complete denial not one time did she apologise for the food nor the manager for last night's lack of customer service because her lack of customer service rivalled his she defended the much she did not want to see the pictures she gave us the excuse that they were too busy in sometimes food sits which is completely unacceptable she kept trying to talk around giving us a refund because that's all we wanted as soon as we said we will just call corporate she decided she would give us our refund still defending the cold Food she even asked us what size food our chicken came in so she new if we were given extra chicken she agreed when we told her that we Were given smalle boxes that we did not receive our extra chicken we paid for and still she defended this. If I could give this store a negative star I would the food is disgusting the management is in denial And you have to threaten to call corporate to get a refund.

What happened to this place? I ordered garlic chicken and a shrimp entrées , both had the same insipid watery sauce on them. They must have been out of garlic. The order was over $45.00 and didn't eat much of it. I hadn't eaten here in a long time and something has changed.

For the second time at the riverside plaza location the chicken tasted like iron.

Absolutely horrible experience. My husband and I have been coming to this location for YEARS. We tried to call in the order and the phone was busy the entire time. Drove 30 minutes to order in person. When we got inside, the lady asked if we were there for pick up and my husband said “no, Your phone is busy”. She looked at the phone beeping red and did nothing. Everything my husband ordered the staff was very rude and kept saying “well, that’s gonna be 10 minutes”. And my husband kept saying that’s fine. The staff- even the cook, was very rude and irritated that we ordered the Bourbon chicken. We left to walk around Vons to wait for our order. When my husband came back to get our order, someone from the back came out and basically threw the food in a bag and just basically threw the bag at him. He was irritated that my husband asked for chili paste and soy sauce. I will not come back here, nor would I recommend this location. This has been our go to place for years, but unfortunately, their customer service has seriously gone down hill. Daniela was the lady who took the order- very very rude.

Unfortunately, this company and this location have gone downhill. Customer service is no longer a focus. If you have an ingredient on hand (which they did) and you don’t want to customize an order for a customer (that is willing to pay for it) then it shows how much you value your patrons. Restroom did not have toilet paper or toilet seat covers. Every single visit is a new disappointment. It’s a shame but I’ll be taking my business somewhere else from this point forward.

I walked in with a party of four expecting to order the family meal, waited in front of the counter looking at the staff & the menu atop. We waited for a greeting, acknowledgement that we arrived from someone...nothing. The gentleman besides the cook or cooks was too busy handling food plates/orders, something else more important. We walked out & took our business & appetite somewhere else. This was my second visit (1st was pleasant) & last. Your incompetence just showed. Let's see: greet customers as they arrive/approach the counter. If the employees are busy, train them to apologize to customers for the delay & that they'll be with them in a moment. These small steps is good customer service that go a long way.

I like the House Fried Rice and like it on top of the crispy noodles for the taste and texture. They don’t give out crispy noodles anymore unless you order the soup. Even before this, they were stingy with the noodles compared to other locations. It is just not as good so without the noodles so I am done with this location. I have been coming here since they opened but not worth it now.

Ordering delivery used to be great not anymore. Before when you ordered they nicely packaged each item in their own container that kept the food pretty warm. Now.... they deliver their food in cheap white containers. They have no dividers to separate the items. I'm a mom of 2 bd feeding a toddler who only likes certain things is such a challenge! But she loves chow mein! So I paid the extra to have it as a side just for her. Well now that they just throw all your food into one open container all the Kong pow sauce got all over the chow mein making it entirely way too hot for her to eat!! Both dishes ordered were soggy and barely being held in the container. What a way to treat your customers. Even if Ordering delivery our food be presented nicely and not all mixed in together. I won't be Ordering from again if this is how my food is going to be handled. Thanks for making a mom trying to take a break for the work even harder at dinner time....

I found A LOT of plastic bristles in my food that I actually ate because I thought it was part of the dish. I found it everywhere on the container in my food. It looks like bristles used to clean food. But this is ridiculous amount.

Is this location going out of business? The past month the menu board has slowly disappeared and yesterday there is nothing. About 4pm there was 1 very slow cashier with a less than friendly demeanor and 1 cook who was tasting noodles with his bare hands in the back of the kitchen. The line was long so we gave up and walked across the street at Chipotle. I see the replies to negative feedback over the months so dont make yourselves look foolish with apologies. The best apology is change which is not evident.

It was super small portions of meat/chicken and HUGE amounts of rice & chow mein in the plastic container despite paying for extra steak there was very little. HAD ZERO SAUCE ON THE ORANGE CHICKEN.. like this feels like a bad joke... The cc wontons were literally flavorless. Chow mein tasted super odd. This is so disappointing & I'm never ordering from here again. Why are the items not in separate cartons like it used to be?!
