The most extraordinary place I've been. My first sight was shelves of excellent preserves in glass bottles: peaches, pears, vegetables, jams, and other mouth-watering food. I would have bought so many bottles, but we were flying back. But the star of the place was ice cream and freshly-made cookies in the back. They were so delicious! We hope to return often.

We are new locals to the area and decided to try this place out! I HIGHLY recommend the meatball sub and the baked potato salad! The owner is a kind man and you can tell he loves his work! If you’re in the area, stop by!!

I had been outside at a warm softball game and all I wanted was a fresh ingredient sandwich that when you eat the bread is soft, it barely fits in your hand and as you eat it the delicious vegetables with wonderful sauce fall into the basket! That is what I got! Amazing. Potato salad was fantastic too. Very sweet staff and a precious quiet place to sit and eat. 5 star!

What a great restaurant! We popped in for breakfast and were really impressed. I had the bacon, egg and cheese on sourdough and had to take half home because it was bigger than I expected. The thick cut bacon was perfectly cooked, not soggy but not brittle, and the tomato added a nice flavor. My husband had the sausage, egg and cheese croissant. He really enjoyed it and said the sausage had a great flavor. We also split a cinnamon roll and it was delicious. We will definitely be back to try their deli sandwiches next!

One of the best sandwich shops I've been to in the area. The Italian Hero and Philly cheese steak are not just great, they are higher class of sandwich that chain restaurants wish they could make. Tried the chicken salad today and while it was unique, it was amazing.

Cute deli in Roanoke. They have a market inside with some Italian items, as well as local jarred sauces and pickled veggies. The sandwiches are so fresh and delicious. I had the Reuben and it was the best one I've ever had. My parents had Italian sandwiches and loved them as well. The lady running it was so friendly and made us feel like regulars, even though this was our first time. We got some cookies from the bakery to go, and oh my they were delicious! I hope to be back real soon!

My wife came in and ordered the Italian Hero and a cinnamon roll for lunch today. She said the sandwich was delicious. We split the cinnamon roll and it was perfectly made! We actually ended up coming back for dinner because I was jealous of her sandwich early in the day. Haha. We ordered the meatball sandwich, Philly cheese sandwich, and cookies…. and again everything was absolutely outstanding. Will be coming back for sure!

Just had a breakfast sandwich there. Absolutely delicious!! First time in, and I will definitely be a regular. Service was excellent, and Tracy was a joy to speak with. Everyone should defiantly check this place out. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I visited with our two kids today. Everything was amazing, from the selection to the atmosphere, we enjoyed having lunch here. I presume the owner was the kind man that did everything from running the register, to preparing our food and he is a fantastic person. Our daughter loved the hotdog, our son had a really good turkey sandwich, and the wife and I really enjoyed the hot Italian beef. I took a muffaletta home and it was also great. We all really enjoyed this place and will absolutely return in the near future. Visit this deli, you will not be disappointed!!

The Italian sub is my go to. It’s delicious. They have a lot of random pickled items that look interesting. Service is fast. There are tables if you want to eat there. The cinnamon rolls look amazing and so do the ice cream sandwiches, but I haven’t tried either.

Had the lemon bar cupcakes and brownies for my fiancé's baby shower!!! When I tell you they were the best in the world, its no exaggeration. Tracy the owner is an amazing person and can't want to try more items.

This was a spectacular initial experience. Firstly when you walk in the vibe is really inviting and nice. Greeted by one of the owners and I was immediately impressed with her I had an Italian hoagie which was just out of this world. The quality ingredients were easy to taste and the way the sandwich was constructed allowed me to eat it easily even with some difficult dental impairments at this time I brought home some of their own canned pickles and I immediately had to taste the first one and it was just so good. I will return time and time again as this is a place that I can tell you is very special By the way I had coleslaw with my sandwich and that was easily the best coastlive had since coming to Texas Go there and enjoy they have so many wonderful products in their market but also the food was out of this world Really fun and enjoyable Will be back soon

I LOVE this place! Not a ton of places I HIGHLY recommend but this is one of them and I go here OFTEN! When you walk in to the right there are several refrigerators full of a large variety of old-school glass bottled sodas and other drinks, thats the first thing I love. Their sandwiches are so fresh, and tasty. I get the Felix with extra mayo & seasoning and it is a banger everytime! You also have to try their loaded potato salad! I had them make me a whole pan for Thanksgiving in 2024 and it got all the praise! They homemake a lot of desserts, the banana pudding is amazing and if you like cream cheese icing their cinnamon rolls are great! Everyone there is so nice, I met the owner and let her know how great the place was and she was very appreciative and kind. Please go here and support a local business! Big Bonus: they have a mini store in there where you can get fresh made jams, all kinds of sauces and other stuff. They also have Blue Bell ice cream and make milkshakes.... just go and thank me later.

My wife and I visited Heimbaker's today to see if their breakfast is as good as their deli/lunch/dinner options and the answer is a wholehearted YES! We started with the cinnamon roll (huge enough for 2 people to share) and a 20 oz cold brew coffee. The cinnamon roll was baked in house with a soft outside and perfect yeasty balance in the dough. The vanilla icing was generously applied on top, but somehow managed to not overpower the flavor of the roll itself and the cinnamon glaze on the inside, which is outstanding. The cold brew was a great match for the cinnamon roll with a not too sweet, not too strong flavor and smooth finish. Now let's get to the main attractions...my wife had the egg sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant (you choose your meat and type of bread, including sourdough 👍). I had the breakfast taco with egg, cheese, ham, red/green pepper and onion (you choose your meat). The egg sandwich was sublime. The croissant was buttery and flaky and even better, thick enough to hold in all of the good stuff inside without having the croissant fall apart. The breakfast taco was gigantic, as well. The fresh 6-inch flour was filled with scrambled eggs, sliced ham, and thick slices of red/green pepper and onion. Awesome flavor and very filling. Price for our entire meal was a very reasonable $21. We will be back soon!!!!

This place is so cute. You can get the sandwiches turned into salads! Their chicken salad was wonderful. The freshly baked blueberry scones topped with icing were delicious. I also picked up some chocolate covered espresso beans and Italian Maraschino cherries.

We have lived down the street for the last two years and just now got the opportunity to check this place out and now it may become an active staple in our lives! The grocery selection for things like farm fresh eggs, pasta noodles, wines, ice cream, and so on is enough to get us to keep coming back. BUT THE FOOD. This deli is an absolute gem! I’ve been hooked since my very first visit! The food is phenomenal. I’ve yet to try anything that didn’t end up being the best I’ve had. We like to stop in for lunch from time to time. It’s a cozy little place with tasty food, sweet treats, and quality pantry/gift items available for sale. The owner and staff are wonderful as well! There is one thing that really took us by surprise though and that is their cinnamon rolls! They are truly the BEST I have ever had! Definitely a hidden gem! As long as they keep baking cinnamon rolls, we will be making them apart of our Christmas morning tradition! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a cinnamon roll!

It’s quite a bit of a drive for us, but totally worth it! Bonnie was absolutely AMAZING. I brought my 2.5 year old kiddo and he LOVED IT! Bonnie was so welcoming and my little one ADORED her! Not bad. I happen to be in the area so I checked it out. It had only been open for I think a couple of weeks when I went in, which was beginning of May, but I'm just now getting to putting up photos of it. I had a chicken and beef taco. Would like more seasoning to it. Came with corn tortillas instead of flour, and I always get flour tortillas. Corn tortillas just aren't my thing. I liked what to me was an unusual combination of vegetables that came with it. Cucumbers (a very under rated vegetable) and radishes that went along with your usual onions and peppers. They have a lot of other stuff to buy as well. Wines, beers, pastry, hot cocoa, ice cream, sauerkraut, pickled asparagus, pickled carrots, pop corn, pasta, pecan pie in a jar...... a whole bunch of stuff that I can't remember. Nice looking place too. Friendly staff. I can't give too high a rating since I've only had two tacos. But if you're in the area, check them out. See for yourself.

Gonna have to give this a low score. I really think they just had a bad day. But, you don’t serve the food if you know it isn’t good. Got a Ruben (as it’s spelled in their menu). Went to take my first bite out of it and I couldn’t bite all the way through. Why? The meat was so dry and tough, it was like rubber. Way too salty as well. Threw most of it away. You can’t serve that stuff. If they tasted it and thought it was ok to put out for customers, shame on them.

Texas pastrami with everything on it. Pastrami was tough and fatty and had way too much sauce on it for the type of bread they use causing the bread to become soggy very quickly. I didn't even eat the second half of my sandwich. Also, who ONLY serves unsweetened tea in TEXAS? You can't mix cold tea with table sugar. It doesn't work. God bless their heart. I do not recommend this place. Go to Wise Guys across the street if you want an excellent sandwich, pizza and cold beer. $24 for a sandwich....get real

We were so hoping for delicious pastrami sandwiches, but were extremely disappointed, the pastrami had a weird texture and not like Deli pastrami at all. We asked for no cheese and we got cheese. You'll see the cheese we peeled off in the picture. We asked for plain mustard and had to put it on when we got home. The bread was soggy. No chips served with their sandwiches. When you pay almost $40 for 2 soggy sandwiches you expect to get at least chips on the side. sadly we will not be returning.
