Outstanding. I know people have had bad experiences at fast food chains including Taco Bueno. Today, the crew and the restaurant deserve This location was amazing. My food was perfect. The restaurant was sparkling clean. Yes, they deserve 5 stars despite haters out there. I will certainly return. This a real, honest review. Yes, Taco Bueno was horrible at times. They are fantastic folks. Be kind to people that prepare our food. I will be back soon. Thank. Jordan, Trophy Club

The female manager was so rude and condescending to the employees while we were there 2 different times. She then snapped at us as we were ordering and not fast enough and we didn't realize all the choices. She clearly doesn't like her job. After the 1st time I witnessed her talking down to employees I gave her the benefit of the doubt assuming she was just having a bad day. But this seems to be her attitude everytime. Sad an employee can ruin your experience since the food is good.

Went there on 4/3 while visiting family. Had seen it before on previous trips so finally decided to check it out. I had the Original Crispy Taco and Bueno Burrito. Both were ok, nothing bad, nothing good. Good for the price. The rest of my party got the Bowls, and those looked amazing. Will try them if I'm ever back.

Decent service. Salsa bar was terrible. When we said something about the Pico. We were told it's made fresh daily. It was actually fermented, tasted like alcohol. Maybe it was made fresh during the day but not TODAY!

Taco Bueno has always been my favorite, but recently, I noticed their meat tasting differently. Others have noticed it, too. Which leads me to believe that they have changed their meat recipe. 😔 Even my daughter noticed the difference. The tacos were lazily filled. One of the red salsas tasted soured, and there was a massive spill at the condiment bar that had just been left there. I will it one more try and hope it was just this location. Then, if they did change the recipe... Taco Casa here, I come.

Ordered 2 bean burritos. No wait. Opened immediately after driving away. COLD BEANS! How does a Mexican fast food place have COLD BEANS??

Bueno is my favorite unfortunate this Bueno crew can't get it together. Ordered 3 party burritos mexi dips chips double queso. Unfortunately got a quarter queso not double.

I ordered 4 wholotta platters and a chicken quesadilla through the drive thru. They were out of rice so I asked if the could substitute extra queso instead and they agreed. When I got home with the order, they left out the sour cream, guacamole, extra queso, and the chicken quesadilla. They also must have been out of the to go plates for the platters, as everything was thrown into the bag separately. I tried to call them multiple times but the phone rang so long with no answer that it disconnected. The part of the order we received tasted fine, but the service and accuracy barely deserved the 2 stars I gave.

I love Toco bueno but the location in Roanoke, Texas sucks! The ppl take forever to ask what I need and they are not friendly. The ceo needs to come undercover and check it out for theirs self.

the kids working were in the back screaming their heads off laughing and not caring. and they got our order completely wrong. Went back through the line again and they fixed one thing but the whole lotta platters didn’t have tacos in it or queso. 3 kids working and didn’t get any of our order correct. Will be going to flower mound location from now on.

Bueno has always been my favorite! I have never had any issues until today. Ordered the #3 crispy beef taco, beef mucho nachos, chicken potato burrito and the #1 beef muchaco, bean burrito and crispy taco. Did not receive the beef muchaco or the chicken potato burrito. The beef mucho nachos were all beans hardly any beef. Very disappointed! 😔

You guys are the worst... And charge $13.13 for 3 tacos/3 burritos party for a drop of meat. Thx

The wait is longer than any chain restaurant I have ever been too. And it wasn't because they were busy. The staff just don't care and rather talk to each other than help the customers. Waited more than we should have with only three people in front of us

Don't bother trying to get food through the drive thru here. The last three times we have gone they didn't give us our entire order. I just spent $47 got home and was missing $12 worth of food. It's gotten beyond ridiculous!

Terrible food quality! How can you honestly serve old, cold food and charge so much for it? I haven't been to a Taco Bueno in years and I definitely won't be going back. Disgusting and not worth the $40 you charged for it.

I absolutely love Taco Bueno, but this location is unbelievably bad! I have given this place multiple chances to get it right. They can’t even make a decent taco. I challenge the owner of this location to dine with me at other locations and competitor’s (across the street) locations. I want this place to be good. But it is gross. I literally drive 7 miles away to go to a different location. Plus, there is literally no way to communicate with the owner. Sad. I pray that someone actually reads this and fixes this problem.

TERRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE I am a Bueno fan but…this was not the first bad experience here….I give up! Rude staff who clearly had no interest in customer service I won’t even go into the experience of asking for more than two salsas… Spend 25$ on food we threw away when we got home. Beans were literally the texture of sand! Guac was brown, taco shells were shattered and chips were stale…What a shame Don't waste your money, plenty of better places in Roanoke to eat

This Manager/Owner must hate making money. Do not eat here! Everything in our first Order was wrong. We just moved to Texas and my friends were bragging about how great Bueno Taco is! We goto closest one to us and the experience likely couldn’t have been much worse. Guacamole had to be more than 2-3 days old, we asked for no cheese and thus they put cheese on the entire order. Staff wasn’t exactly outright but they were not very courteous either. I wish this Manager/Owner much luck as this Location is tanking.

I told the clerk that all of my order was not in the bag. So instead of checking it, asked me what was missing. I said 3 tacos and party beans. I ordered 3 soft chicken tacos and party beans with onions. Beans were added without the onions, and handed me back the bag. I said you are still missing the tacos, he threw in a bean burrito and beef crunchy taco. I purposely asked him did you add 3 tacos and he said yes knowing he was lying right to my face. Never going back!

I never order from the drive thru becuase they always mess up the order. Last time I was there around 7pm, the doors were locked and I couldn't get inside. Not sure if something happened and they don't have the dine in anymore so I had to go back to my car and get the in the line. I asked for 4 chicken quesadillas and 1 beef nacho. Quesadillas came thin as a paper with any cheese and the beef nachos didn't have beef and it was disgusting. Not coming back to this place.

Tried to door dash my food. Instead I received a sticky note thats said they didn't have taco shells....so they decided to not even give me a salad at all and still charge me. When I called, it took 3 tries to get ahold of someone then when I finally got to talk to the shift manager Jose he was so rude. He hung up on us 3 times after calling me a liar. Never again and I will be going to corporate.

We showed up on a Friday night at 9:20 pm. Went thru the drive thru only to be told they are not accepting orders from the drive thru. So we pulled around and was going to go inside to place a to go order. But they had both entrance doors locked. So we could not order from inside or from drive thru. I get they close at 10:00 pm. But we showed up 40 minutes before to place a to go order. If you are not going to serve any food after 9 PM you might as well just close at 9 PM.

Taco NO Bueno. To the specific crew there working now 3/20,2022, 2:14 pm, 3 boys, you don't have to take it on me for asking you at drive thru to wait a second as I'm trying to figure out what else I want to order. You don't need to rush me. It's my first time. You guys also told me to wait a second! Then, I get my food, my measly portion and called you guys on it! "That's how it comes!" No, that's the portion you chose to give me. $1 and something for a tiny portion of guacamole! $2 and something for chips and a tiny portion of queso! Then, y'all "forgot" my side of rice and the chips! Your cook, I assume, and not the cashier, handed me my light little bag basically telling me to f off. The service was awful. Portions were worse. My first and last time at Taco NO Bueno. Bye, bye.

Zero people patronizing this place when I went through the drive thru. Girl taking orders at the drive thru took my order and then a dude at the window asked me what I ordered. They were all sitting on the counters and food prep area. It was at that point another kid came from the back with hands and arm covered in refried beans and said hey we’re out of toilet paper. They all laughed while my kids were mortified. This is why we’re losing all the Buenos across the metroplex. Step your game up! Taco casa gets my business in place now.

45 minutes drive through experience with 3 cars in front of us. By the time we got to the window they forgot what we ordered so we had to order again. Waited again for a bag of cold food that tasted old. Avoid this location and go to the one in Flower Mound.

I tried two separate nights to go to this location. The first night I arrived at 9:15 only to find no one working though their store hours online say they close at 10pm. They missed 2 sales plus another vehicle behind me. Reached out to management and never heard anything back. Went back this evening only to find them open, but unable to take orders due to their delivery truck? They also lost my sale plus another vehicle behind me again. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Won’t be going back to this location.

Dirty This store was the first one I'd been to that was disgusting. Over flowing trash, no salsa or cilantro on salsa bar, food prep area was gross, 13 of the 14 dining area tables were dirty, etc etc. Manager was present but didn't seem to care. It was 7pm on a Tuesday night; not a bit busy.

Went to get an order remade from a few weeks ago that was wrong, called and told the woman last night and she told me to come in and she would take care of it.,.okay that's cool, sent my wife through the drive through to pick it up with the receipt, was supposed to be 2 beef NACHO salad no chili sauce substitue queso on one, wife gets home with the food, open it up they are both TACO SALADS, not even close to what it was supposed to be, called back and was rudely hung up on 3 times...... WON'T be going back especially since "management". HAs issues with their attitudes so don't expect anything to go well if you have an issue

The chicken was good but could've been better if the tacos were made correctly. Additionally is the outside drive up speaker didn't work, had to drive up to place my order. Just look how sad and unappetizing those look, shouldve saved my money. Lesson learned, avoid this taco bueno, they didn't learn the first time and are doomed to repeat their mistakes.

We want eat here again and the staff does not change their gloves after cashing you out at the cash register. They go to their food area and make your food.

I received my order and confirmed it was all there however I opened up the nachos and they put the cheese and chili on top. Not only that, they only put about 20 chips in the container. That is not a $6 nacho. So I tell them I want it remade based off what was requested and they remade it but forgot to put the meat on it this time. So I asked them for the meat and the cook did it nicely however there was still only about 20 chips in the box. I asked if this was a $6 nachos please add more chips. They did it but my complaint is that I had to baby them to make my food correctly. Then when I get home, the size of the bean burritos were party burrito size as there was hardly any ingredients in them. And the tacos only had enough ingredients to fill them up halfway. I have pictures as proof. When the cost of food is rising to where you charge 3.19 for a 30 cent soda and the tacos and burritos are 50-75 cents higher than they were a year or two ago, I would like to get what I pay for. Very disappointing.

I have a feverish passion for the food Taco Bueno provides and today marks the first time in over 15 years of satisfied patronage, that I have been disappointed, disgusted in fact. On arriving home I chowed down, sadly my Bueno bliss was rudely interrupted by chomping down on a 1.25 inch long thin chicken bone! Thank goodness I discovered it while chewing and didnt swallow it, because I would have likely choked on it, and I live alone, so nobody would have been able to help. The service was good, accurate and fast, however I imagine from here on out I'll have to ask for BONELESS quesadillas. 😡

This taco bueno needs their management to take control. The last couple times, they've been leaving items out of the bag on our drive thru order and then when asked for them, the lady in the drive thru gets an attitude. Today we got our order and then checked for salsa in the bag and when we waited a minute to ask for salsa, she gave us attitude and that we should have asked at the intercom because we had 5 other cars behind us. Then she threw the salsa in a bag and then threw it at us and slammed the window on us while we were talking. We didn't have any attitude, but this lady clearly needs to be taught manners or fired because this same lady always is rude.

They are using hard rock potatoes from breakfast time on the chicken potato burritos in the afternoon and evening. Absolutely disgusting, and as hard as pebbles. I used to love this Taco Bueno. NO MORE. Whatever their problem is, they've amped it up. Absolutely awful. My one star is a NEGATIVE star to leave a review.

Dining room was filthy...tables hadn't been cleaned off and floors had food on them in several areas. The food appeared thrown together. There were gnats and flies at the beverage machine and salsa bar. Totally unclean and disgusting. There is typically very little traffic at this location. Management should consider closing this location.

Today I went in to rectify the situation. Employee would not listen to what I was trying to explain, asking questions in the middle of my speaking. Both employee and manager were argumentative, claiming that I would require a receipt in order to get the food I had already paid for. Receipt was not in the bag nor was I asked if I wanted one. Do not ARGUE with a customer, when it is clearly stated a receipt was not given. Employee argued that I had told her it was an old lady at the drive-through window, which is not what I said. Again, stop and listen - definitely needs some training in customer service. Handed me my food and as she turned around said “next time bring your receipt “ Both refused to give me their names. 6/20 1155am As a previous GM for Taco Bueno - the manager this was handled by both employee and manager was not acceptable.

They forgot the chips, jalapeños and hot sauce, queso was watered down, the bueno chilado was put upside down in the to go bag. I’ve been to this location a few times since I moved to the area. The quality has greatly declined from what this chain was for many years. I will never go back to this location.
