The staff here are super friendly and nice, immediately when I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. The service was quick, got exactly what I ordered and it was better than I expected. Kitchen staff obviously knows their stuff! I ordered the Cajun chicken wings and shoe string fries the serving size was large enough to share! The atmosphere is amazing, right next to the water, music on point, and plenty of TVs to keep you distracted from the tasteful food and decor
Found out this little gem was here when we were at Bills training camp so had to come check it out. IT WAS AWESOME! Our server made excellent recommendations, answered all our questions and provided some of the best service we have had in a long time. The wings were cooked to perfection and the Chipotle butter bbq were my favorite! We also had beer battered fries and they were very good. I am so glad we found out this was here and we will definitely be back. And the mafia is coming with us! GO BILLS
Had the beef on weck. Very good. The only difference between the regular and the large is the amount of meat..
Went with friends who have taken me to many Western NY Wings joints when I visit. Coincidentally, Bar-Bill had been a recent recommendation from different friends who had grown up @ East Aurora. They said Bar-Bill had their favorite wings. But this time we were closer to East Rochester. So we checked out BB East. Really glad we went. Great location and cool older spacious building that has been renovated to be a multi-room/multi-level collection of bars and tables/booths in a multi- TV sports bar environment. Saturday evening was fun, busy and great to enjoy a few beers and some wings. Wait time was really no problem at all considering the high volume of dining and bar traffic. Our server, Danielle, was great and gave good advice on heat of their wings. I like very hot spicy food, and often find that restaurants tend to claim their food is very hot…only to find that it’s hot but not really that spicy. In this case Danielle warned that Bar-Bill wings are “hotter” than the wings in other restaurants. So I was excited/split an order (extra hot and suicide styles)… and was delighted to find the sauces were to my taste. Overall the food/drink we ordered was very good. I split a Beef on Weck with a buddy, and it was top notch. Fries were julienned and perfectly fried. Top notch again. Local K2 brewery makes them a house lager and house IPA. We tried both (twice) and found them not only good as stand alone beers, but particularly tasty/good as accompaniment to our food. We all enjoyed our wings. The wings were big and meaty with a nice fried crunch under the sauce. Nice job! While I was very impressed/happy with the wings and the heat…I thought the flavor of mine was a bit bitter, and the sauce was a bit sticky/thick (?corn starch) …compared to the more silky buttery hot traditional Buffalo sauces I usually find. My buddy said his Medium wings were not as I described, and perhaps it was just the way BBE makes their hotter sauces. Anyway I look fwd to going back and trying other styles. This is a great place and Danielle made it particularly fun as well as assuring we got all our food and beers served perfectly. Very good-Excellent. Highly recommended.
Wings were very good, but Rochester has plenty of good wing spots. The beef on weck was absolutely amazing & is the main reason why I can’t wait to go back. Delicious!!!
Measures up to the East Aurora location for service and flavor. Wings were lacking a bit in the size department. Deep fried cheese curds were awesome and a good portion size.
It was my first time at Bar Bill East and the first thing that caught my attention was the refreshing, fun atmosphere and the cool memorabilia all around the restaurant (GO BILLS!). The wings are cooked to perfection and the hot is HOT (which I love!). We had great service and Nivea did a wonderful job checking in and quickly bringing us whatever we needed - we’ll be back!
There is not a better wing joint in all of Rochester. This Buffalo legend moving into the area has been incredible. The huge space means minimal wait time, the wings are always delicious and bonus points for the presentation of the wings. House made blue cheese is incredible as well.
Everything was delicious. My wife had the wings with honey bbq sauce and i had the honey bbq pizza and wow, even the smallest things about the dish tasted great! Would absolutely recommend if anyone eants a delicious wing!
We had a great time! Nivea made sure our toddler got his tenders asap, she was attentive and made our lunch a delight. Also, Bar Bill has very good high chairs, plastic, working straps, very clean. Overall, great service, great atmosphere, and the best wings in Rochester.
Hand painted wings, never heard of it before meeting our friends at this joint. They recommended this spot and we had a bumpy start, but the staff took care of business afterwards. The cheese curds and the cajun-honey butter-bbq wings put us on board the train to flavor town. Definitely would love to come back again sometime.
One of our favorite places to eat! Crispy flavorful wings, the best cheese curds in town and great service! Catherine was great today and helped us have a fantastic lunch! 10/10 would recommend.
I sat at the bar and was served by Leslie V. Her personality was born for the business. Constantly filled my Pepsi as it got low and was so accommodating when I asked my food be on separate plates! Top notch service with a smile. I would definitely dine there again
I like my chicken sandwiches with just cheese and bacon… their “Nate” has lettuce, onion, etc. They made mine to order and I have to say….one of the best I’ve ever had! Those with me ordered wings( 3 different kinds) and said they were all outstanding! We will definitely take the drive out from Gates to enjoy Bar Bill again SOON!
This was my first visit. My server was polite and attentive. I ordered wings and sweet potato fries. It was tasty. Next time, I will request my wings to be cooked crispy, hence my 4/5 rating.
Great bar with great bar food. Hands down the best wings, good size, not overcooked just perfect. Their Cajun and lemon pepper is good, my favorite is the spicy Buffalo obviously it’s amazing comes out nice and hot. The fries also come out hot hot hot fresh out of the frier, crunchy on the outside super soft and cooked on the inside. Just exactly what you’d want from your local bar. Lots of beers on tap to choose from, tv screens on every wall, friendly service what more could you ask for
We have been to the Bar Bill in East Aurora and got hooked on the joint! Today we ventured out to the new place in Penfield and they did not disappoint. Beef on Weck, beer battered fries, 10 Medium Hot and 10 Cajun honey bbq wings were all fantastic. We enjoy the blueberry wheat beer with the dancing blue berries...fun stuff 😋. This is our new place to come for our Sunday Fun Day 😂🤣😂
I heard of this place. Through my brother,he wanted to try it, because he heard it was good food. So we decided to go yesterday, and we invited my sister. She had never been. It was busy when we got there. So we sat at the bar,and had a cocktail while we waited to be seated. It didn't take very long. Once seated we went through the menu, and came up with a plan. To try what we could, and share what we had ordered. The food was delicious, and the sauces they offered were really tasty as well!! We weren't disappointed at all. We would definitely go back again with more people!!
I grew up going to Barbill in East Aurora, and when I moved to Rochester, I was THRILLED to find a branch had opened up here. The wings remain the best anywhere, and the service is friendly - the people truly care. Valerie C. was super nice and made my mom's birthday lunch feel special!
Pretty much the same wings as BB EA. Blue cheese dip seems more similar to BB North, less actual blue cheese and more mayo than EA. Service was great and there is tons of room for large groups, large patio too. Will go back.
Wings are top tier great and worth the price premium they charge. I love the Cajun medium. The Cajun loaded fries (subbed in waffle fries) were amazing! A really filling, delicious, huge serving. Beef on weck is good as are their fries. Beer selection is solid enough and plenty of TVs I’ve only gone early on busy days or a not busy day, I can’t speak to Bills games. Service has always been good, attentive, pleasant. They warn you wings will take time, so as long as you come in expecting that, you won’t be disappointed.
Casey took excellent care of us! It was a special lunch with my siblings and mom. We had her out from her nursing home for the afternoon.
The wings were hot fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and fast and I would definitely come back and recommend this place. The only downfall was the gentlemen next to me. He was extremely rude to the staff he caused a huge scene and demanded free food and threatened to call the police. The staff handled the situation with class and respect.
My husband and I stopped in for a light dinner on a Monday night around 7:30pm. We’ve been to Bar-Bill East a few times before and so we ordered our favorites… An order of Cajun honey butter barbecue chicken wings, a chopped salad with honey mustard dressing, and a Blue Moon. Our waitress, Lauren, was delightful and made sure we had everything we needed… she checked on us more than once, and made sure we were brought an empty bowl as we originally requested so we could share the huge, delicious salad easily. The salad was loaded with goodies and the chicken wings were cooked to perfection .. crispy and not soggy. ❤️ The Cajun honey butter barbecue sauce is untouchable and now my favorite way to order wings… and I grew up in the Buffalo area! Thank you, Lauren, and Bar-Bill East !!! We’ll be back!!
This place is legit! Friendly service! My friend and I shared 10 wings, shoestring fries, we each had a house lager, and shared a bloody Mary. The total was $51 before tip. To me, that's decent considering we got there right at 5p and didn't have to wait. She had their medium sauce, which is a step above mild, and they were still quite spicy. There's medium hot, hot and (for $2 more) suicide?! 🤣...pretty sure I don't wanna sit on the toilet all night. Mine were honey dijon, super flavorful with some heat as well! Good stuff! The house lagers were tasty! So was the bloody Mary! Our server even told us the wait for wings is a bit, which is why people come, but it really wasn't bad. Overall I'd give this visit an 8/10...good job guys!
Stopped at bar-bill last night for wings. The cajun honey butter bbq were great! What really stood out was the service by the bartender, Sara. She was busy yet very aware of her customers needs . Great personality! Will be back,
We were recommended this place while roadtripping through New York and it was amazing. Our server Nivea was fantastic - attentive, quick, and took time to chat with us. When had a concern with our wings not being hot enough, she resolved it quickly and got us a fresh batch. As we chatted and shared we were on vacation chasing snow, she offered to show us how to start a snowman outside before we left so we could have the true winter experience. Shoutout to Nivea - definitely recommend requesting her as a server!
East Aurora will always be the best, but this one has gotten better each time I've gone. Great Atmosphere and food is so good. Honey Butter BBQ Cajun Wings..so good! The service has been hit or miss where sometimes it's been perfect and above expectations, then there have been other times where we waited a long time for a drink refill, put food in, or even to pay our bill. I still enjoy this location and have gone back a few times and the service was good again.
We sat at the bar and had drinks and something to eat. The bartender Amanda was very competent and friendly. We appreciated her attentiveness and her suggestions. She made me a really good Christmas peppermint martini! Would definitely consider returning to this establishment.
Atmosphere is great even if you're not a bills fan. Food is great. Wings are some of the best around. Cheesy bread sticks were great as well. Nice layout of the tables, bar , and standing tables.
We were on a buffalo wings adventure and this place was the runner up! Delicious, but their buffalo sauce had a sweet twist, not quite traditional, still spicy and flavorful. Their Cajun Honey Butter BBQ wings were the real star here. They also had amazing cheese curds and drinks. I forgot to take a picture of their fries, but we tried both shoestring fries and beer battered fries. SO GOOD! The service was phenomenal!
We drive 25 mins because BarBill is rated as best Beef on Weck in Rochester. We ordered Beef on Weck and 10 wings with a side of Fry's. I love the panko Fry's, right out of the fryer. Everything came out as it was done, very hot. I ordered mild wings with a side of hot. Most places don't make good hot sauce, this one made my hair tingle, and they have two heats above hot. Very tasty, not just Buffalo sauce. The wings were the best I've had anywhere, I enjoyed that even more than the Weck, which was fabulous. The salted Weck rolls were a special touch. Everything fresh, crispy wings. I'll be back!
Bar Bill East on Empire Boulevard is an absolute gem! If you’re looking for the perfect New York wing experience, this is the place to go. The wings are nothing short of amazing—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and tossed in the most flavorful sauces you can imagine. What truly sets them apart, though, is their homemade blue cheese. It’s rich, creamy, and pairs perfectly with their legendary wings. When I think of New York, Buffalo Bills football, and wings, Bar Bill East immediately comes to mind. Our server Danielle made the experience even better! She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. She had great recommendations and truly elevated the entire visit. The vibe is welcoming, the service is fantastic, and the food is a game-changer. Whether you’re pre-gaming for a Bills game or just craving the best wings in town, Bar Bill East has you covered. Go Bills, and go wings!
Best wings I’ve had in years!!! Cost $17 for 10 wings and it was worth it!! Can’t find genuinely good wings anywhere anymore. They always look like they came from a chicken that died of malnourishment. Wings here are big and actually have meat on them and they’re very flavorful. I didn’t even know this place existed until I came here but now it’s the only place I’ll ever want to go for wings! The picture with the beer in it is from their menu. The other is how my food was brought to me. Just impressive all around!!
Updated review!! We have been here 2 other times after their opening week. They have not disappointed one bit! The employees are killing it and so is the food. Wings are on point, and the best appetizer on the menu is 100% the garlic cheese curds. We just got their pizza at our last visit and it was great! We will continue coming here no matter the wait time!
Our family of four attended the Bar-Bill Tavern Rochester soft opening 7/6/23. Great atmosphere, comfortable seating and lots of wonderful TVs showing GOLF !! We were in perfect surroundings. Our orders were wings, beef-on-wick, pretzels and a patty melt. All meals were excellent. Our waitress Skyler was terrific. She was polite, genuine and respectful.
Bar Bill East is a fantastic spot for lunch! Great for beers, wings, and watching sports. The wings here are phenomenal, but they may be missing some of your favorite flavors (no garlic Parm 😔). I highly recommend the honey butter barbeque! The beef on weck is fantastic, and they give you a good amount for the price. The beef is melt in your mouth tender. The only complaint I have here is the service and the style they do it. Instead of your waiter/waitress bringing your items out, they're brought out from the kitchen by basically whoever is available. They also make no attempt to bring your items together as a group, instead bringing them out as they become available. When you're with a group, this leads to some folks getting their food while others have nothing for long periods of time. Not a fan of that. However, that aside the food is pretty darn good! I for one am going to keep coming!
Wings were well fried and sauced well. Highly recommend the cajun honey butter. The waffle fries are incredible and well worth it. The only sad point was that the beef on weck had cold beef was expecting a good hot sandwich of my youth. Told that BarBill on Buffalo does serve theirs with hot beef and freshly cut.
Love this place best wings but no take out is wild would be getting wings every Sunday like I did in buffalo but still when I eat in good food good staff good atmosphere
Firts visit here for lunch today , had to wait about 20 minutes so grabbed a pint at the bar . Lots of open space , some comfy small tables and chairs in the bar area . Not a huge tap list but some decent offerings. The food is spot on with the original East Aurora location . Beware your going to wait about 20-25 minutes for wings , they make them right so don't rush perfection they know what their doing
Very nice sportsbar with large tv's and a nice bar. The wings are as good as fried wings can be, but not as good as slowed cooked and grill charred wings I have had elsewhere. When you fry a wing so that the outside is crispy then the inside of the wing will almost always be overcooked. I'm not saying the wings are dry, but I prefer tender over crispy. However the sauce they add to the crispy wings is top notch. The pizza is great and has a crunchy crust. The beef-on-weck looks better than it actually is, but worth trying once. The place is very similar to Holigans or many other upscale sportsbars. If your going to watch a sports game, be warned they play music over the speakers and you can't actually listen to the game.
This place was highly anticipated and finally opened. The lot is usually mobbed when we drive by. Decided to duck in for an early dinner on a Saturday night. We were 14th on the list and their system kept us very updated, even saying we were next but waiting for a table to open up. There are tvs on most flat surfaces, all playing the same CFB game. Can only imagine what this place is like during a Bills game. There is a lot of space between free-standing tables, you could put in many more. There is also only 4 or 5 beers on tap, the rest are served in bottles or cans. When this was the previous establishment there was a huge wall of taps. The food was good, not amazing, but good. The medium wings had heat but I could eat a dozen all by myself no problem. We did split the order and got the Honey Butter BBQ sauce which was tasty. All over the menu they state 2 things; Bar Bill style (extra saucy) and Sicilian (Garlic Parm). Both are up-charges at times. We had to ask about a lot of terms, seems like things could be more spelled out. Go for a game, it's probably amazing. It's not somewhere we will be running back to just for dinner.
It was a very pleasant experience. We went in not expecting much, but were surprised at how delicious the food was. It was spacious, clean with super friendly staff. The best part of this restaurant, was the runners. This ensured you weren't waiting forever for your food and allowed the server to provide excellent customer service. Its been a long time since we've seen runners in a restaurant. Please note the menu was limited, but this won't stop us from returning.
Food was very good. Wings run hotter than average for Rochester, and were nicely organized on the plate. 5 flats and 5 drums. Be warned about the heat level. Waffle fries are good. Beef on Weck looked outstanding. Very noisy outside seating right next to Empire Blvd. Was hard to carry on a conversation with all of the traffic noise. Nice to be outdoors, but I'd sit inside next time if going there at dinnertime. Funny that 4 employees we asked could not tell us the significance of the name "Bar Bill." Seems like that would be a commonly asked question.
Service was just OK. She forgot to get us ranch, and a beer. Also, after half an hour of waiting for her to ask us to order, we finally asked her, which just kind of annoys me, but anyway, the jalapeño poppers were a good deal. It was seven dollars for them the wings were good, but quite crispy. For $16, 10 of them is not worth it. Go to Buffalo wild wings if you want that. Much better quality there. The beef on wreck was good though. I definitely recommend the mini or the small.
20 September 2024 We were seated right away, which was great. Our server (Valerie) was very attentive to our needs she even thanked me for my Military service. The restaurant was really clean, which is very important in this day and age. The hostess was friendly, she greeted us enthusiastically. The Menu is small but all the food we had was excellent! You need to give this place a try.
Our wings and Beef on Weck were good. Server did a good job. We ordered take out when we received our food to bring home for our son. The wings, fries, and Beef on Weck were brought out on trays. We told our server it was a take out order. She said they don't do take out orders and we had to put it together ourselves. We had to ask for trays and foil to wrap the food and then for a bag. Come on, even fast food places wrap the food up for you when you have a take out order.
Felt like a school cafeteria, VERY limited menu, nice server but she was overwhelmed so we waited long periods of time before she returned, they were out if chicken tenders which is absurd for a bar/pub. Pizza and roast beef were great but not what we were hoping to eat. Next time, we will look at the menu ahead of time before committing to any restaurant.
Overall this location was nice; close to family vacation home. I was rather dismayed to learn they offered no military or senior Discounts. Half of our family is military; my dad is a disabled Vietnam veteran, on a limited income and yet decided to take our family out to dinner. It ended up costing him over $600. I think that is over priced for several baskets of wings, a couple of sandwiches, a pizza, a few drinks.
Not sure about this place. Gave 4 stars cuz I like the suicide sauce wings. Ordered 5, could only eat 4, sooo hot! The wings are meaty, I'd have to say. And finally...plenty of napkins on the table, Bravo!....The patty melt beef weck on a roll. Not bad. The service is a 3, a combination of an earlier visit by my wife and this visit. If you like football, you'll like the atmosphere. Limited menu, a couple of sandwiches, some pickies, and an order of Loaded fries to feed the table. Mostly just beers (all in cans) and wings. Next time, wings and beer only... $30+/person, we had 3 beers with 2 meals and wings
I’ve been here about a dozen times and compared to the Buffalo locations, this location is subpar. I’ve never received scrawny little wings in Buffalo but more often than not, have end up with them here. The amount of sauce they put on the wings is also noticeably less.
Really mediocre wings. Good texture, but their medium buffalo was flavorless, and their extra hot tasted like they just dumped too much cayenne into the medium sauce. Rusty powdered spice flavor. No good. On the other hand, loved the beef on weck.
Our server was not friendly, our pretzels were over cooked, our chicken wings were over cooked, and the menu was VERY limited. And my bottled beer was warm.
I've been a Bar Bills a couple of times when you sit in. You get very good serve the waiters are basic and\n Somewhat accommodating. Rush rush rush. Do you not remember your orders? When doing take out where going to the bar. You will have to stand there forever before they even pay you any attention because they know you are doing take out. And your tip is not substantial. Over all the food is very good
Recommended this place by my cousin the other week. I looked up the place and wanted to give them a call to order wings to go. After not reaching them I went in. I was told that they don't have a working phone. Decided to stay and watch the game at the bar and order food. I spoke with a nice bartender who got me a beer and told me about the wings. I asked about flavors and and decided on the cajun honey butter bbq and lemon pepper. I even paid for the all drums for the additional cost on the honey bbq wings. When food arrived, the wings were hot and crispy. I will say the flavor on the Cajun bbq wings was 10/10 though they didn't give me the all drums for that. They instead put that on the lemon pepper wings. The lemon pepper wings were not bad but more on the lemon side for me with not much pepper. I would say those were a 7/10. I did make the bartbee aware of the mix up with the wings and she tells me that the kitchen must have flipped it. As it seems that they were not going to rectify the mix up or get me the proper drums I did eat them. Even if they would have taken off for the all drums I would have been fine with that since I didn't get what I paid for. Overall I will.come back and liked the food. Just hoping they fix the phone issues in the future so people can order to go.
Beef on wick was quite good. Beef still a touch pink, and tender. Not enough salt on roll. Au jus was boring and flavorless. Horseradish was good and strong. For a twenty dollar sandwich, plain chips as a side is pretty BS. Wings were cooked well, but barely had any sauce on them. Dry wings? No thanks. Homemade blue cheese was excellent, but didn't make up for dry wings.
The roast beef sandwich was good. Tried to find some low fat options for my Dad and salad was it. The wait staff was excellent and tried very hard to accommodate my Dads low salt diet. They did have NA beers available andvthet were decent. Outside seating was in bad shape and the road noise was really bad making it hard to chat.
Was hoping for a little Buffalo love on my trip to Rochester. Wings were undercooked and lack the crispness that Bar Bill Buffalo is known for. Service was slow and I understood based on the crowd size.. Bartender seemed busy and bothered until I asked for my check. She asked how my wings were, I replied, I wish I had asked for them ‘crispy.’ She said they usually are but the kitchen was slammed tonight. My bill was $22, I put $30 cash on the check and no change was brought back. Over all disappointed. My experience in Clarence and East Aurora was much better.
We had dinner last night there. We ordered Pizza,Wings and chicken tenders. The food never comes out at the same time. Our pizza was over cooked. The wings were good. My husband asked the waitress if he would get some Parmesan cheese for his pizza? She didn't seem to know what that was. She said I will go check and never came back with the answer. She never refilled our water. And you can't order food to go, which is crazy to me! The table next to us, there were waiting for chicken tenders for their son, he had to ask a few times about where his son meal was. They finally came and everyone was done eating! Absolutely crazy ! If it was not for them having good wings we would not come back.
Not the greatest, a friend and I went for lunch. She got pizza and I ordered wings, she got her pizza about 20 minutes after ordering while mine took another 25 minutes after that. I get pizza and wings have different cook times but the wait was just ridiculous, and then my wings were cold anyways which means they were sitting in the back.
It's just old MacG's with a coat of paint and unframed posters of JA17. The poor bartender was serving both a full bar and making drinks for tables. They seem very understaffed. Our "45min wait" turned into a 1.5hr wait where we had to ask the hostess if the table was ready, which is magically was after we asked. It took about 30min for the first plate to come out once we ordered. There was about a 25min gap between the first person getting their food and the last person getting their food. The last person didn't get to eat really as the majority of people had already finished their food by that point. Service was not phenomenal. I don't believe we got asked if we wanted drinks after the initial order was taken. They comped 2x items from the order, but we still spent $250+ in our 3.5 hour time there. I'd go there maybe for a Bill's game, but I wouldn't ever go in to eat again lol. Also, maybe if Bar-Bill didn't spend the time to hand paint individual wings there wouldn't be such a large discrepancy in serving times. I have literally never seen a food service done so sporadically. The entire experience was akin to a lunch rush at a popular food truck, except this was on a Wednesday and we didn't get to eat until about 9pm. Wings were good. 8/10.
Honestly the food is amazing have to give them credit on that! My husband and I went on Monday night at 7pm and waited 10 mins to get seated there was no host and nobody in line then the server was horrible honestly never asked us how our food was ,waited forever to get refills and order food and the server went to drop off our to go containers and didn’t even make it you our table yet and through then and continues talking to another server and the the whole time we were eating they were sweep and mopping and picking up while we were eating
Waitress was wonderful, the girl who brought out the food pretty much threw the food on the table. The wings were great . The beef on weck terrible. The roll seeds overpower the beef.
Bar Bill has probably the worst experience for mid wings. Just left after eating with one other person that took 80 minutes for wings and pizza logs. Server comes every 20 minutes or so then you wait another 20 minutes to receive whatever you asked for. I think the process of asking for a to go box, getting a to go box, and getting the bill took 40 minutes. I’ll go to Buffalo Wild Wings next time.
Terrible customer service and complete disorganization. I went to Bar Bill in Rochester today to eat wings and watch the Bills game. I expected it to be busy—that’s a given on game day. What I did not expect was for them to be so severely understaffed and poorly managed. There were only two bartenders working during a packed Bills game. I stood in a crowded bar area for over an hour before I was even able to order a drink. We were put on a waitlist for a table with an estimated wait of 1.5 hours. After patiently waiting two full hours, I asked for an update and was told it would still be another hour or more because, although people had finished eating, “they can’t kick them out.” That begs the question—why even have a waitlist if tables aren’t being turned over? Why allow patrons to continue occupying tables indefinitely when others have been waiting for hours? Frustrated, I decided to order food to go. Even that was chaotic. I watched “to-go” orders being served in dine-in containers, forcing customers to then ask for to-go containers, wait for them to arrive, and pack their own food in the middle of the madness. The entire experience was chaotic, unorganized, and poorly managed from start to finish. The food reputation isn’t enough to excuse this level of dysfunction. I will not be returning
I had an amazing order of wings with Suicidal sauce back in the early spring. Fast-forward to yesterday, when the waitress makes an odd comment when I got my order, "they will taste better when you reheat them again tomorrow." I notice that the smell and taste was off, like the chicken was rotten. My pops' hot buffalo wings were fine. He agreed that there was something wrong with mine when he tasted them. We asked them to redo my wings, and the first wing I bit into was somehow in worse condition, oozing grossly from inside. I have ordered Distillery's Ghost Wings and Jeremiah's (discontinued) Holy Habanero wings in the past, so I know what the desired effect is by ordering the hottest wing on the menu. As a wing spot chain that originates in Buffalo, every wing order matters. Just because your sauce has a taunting name, it does not give you an excuse to be a lousy chef. Happy Festivus and be better.
