Amazing café. Kind, caring, and compassionate customer service. I tried to tip the young man for serving my coffee and food and he refused. The Turkish coffee was great. Will be back for more. The latte was just as delicious. The pastries were the star 🌟 🤩 ✨️ I devoured them they were so good. The cheese filled one that looks like am empanada was my favorite. I'll be ordering two next time. The beef filled one was my second favorite. Don't walk to get here....run. You will not be disappointed.

Seriously the best latte, smooth and light froth. The desserts were spot on and the flavors were authentic and rich. My husband had a garlic lamb soup (with vinegar) that he enjoyed and smelled delicious. Bonus…. It was open pretty late at 9pm. Perfect Friday date spot with private spots to sit.

This is probably my 4th time coming here in the last few months. It has quickly become my favorite brunch spot. The prices are wonderful for the quality that you receive - I’m obsessed with the berry waffles! The medium iced latte is only $4 and you get a lot of coffee! No extra charge for flavoring and there’s no option to tip, which is super refreshing for Rochester. The people are so nice - my boyfriend even spilled his coffee all over the floor once and they wouldn’t let him clean it up and brought him a brand new iced coffee free of charge 🥹🫶🏻 You don’t get that kind of service anywhere else, ever. The cafe itself is gorgeous, very clean aesthetic. The food is a bit slow to come out, but it’s WELL worth the wait, and the quality is perfect every time. I just make sure that I stop by when I have a few hours before I need to be somewhere. Additionally, being that this has been my 4th time here, the wait time has significantly improved from my first visit. Waiting is a welcome change of pace in a busy world though. I can’t say enough good things about this place; I tell all of my friends and family to come here, and will continue to spread the word! 10/10 experiences, I’ll definitely be a chronic customer!

What a gem! Stopped in for some delightful Turkish coffee, absurdly good food, and relaxing game of chess. Highly recommended!

The cafe is clean and tidy, staff was polite, and drinks and food were amazing! I got the berry waffle, Turkish sausage sandwich, iced tea, and cappuccino. Literally everything was phenomenal and I said multiple times I’d be back!!

I visited this place for the first time this week after reading about it on local news. I was so happy I did! I got leek burek which was absolutely divine—so flavorful. They also had beef burek and spinach burek, along with some other savory and sweet foods. I also got an Americano which was totally fine, but I was almost immediately cursing myself for not trying the Turkish coffee or the tea which comes in different strengths (very authentic to Turkish tea culture and an excellent way to drink tea). It will give me an excuse to come back again soon when I’m in the area. Service was very friendly and helpful. I sat inside for about half an hour around late lunchtime and it was so nice to see all of these people coming in to support a new local business. Check it out for yourselves, you won’t regret it!

This is a nice spot for some desserts and coffee. The owners are very friendly too and the ambiance is relaxing. We tried the Kardelen and Turkish coffee which was very delicious.

I stopped in spontaneously on a weekday afternoon with no expectations. I hadn’t ever tasted Turkish coffee and was excited to try it. The staff member working (alone?) was very kind and patient with me, as I asked questions about their success so far, what desserts he’d recommended, etc. I love coffee and so I ordered a Turkish coffee (started without milk but ended up needing it after tasting) and baklava (one of the only items not made in house). He assured me that the coffee would be strong but not bitter and he was right! However, I found that with a small amount of milk, it was perfectly balanced. I sat by the large window and felt comfortable and relaxed. There were a few other tables with patrons and the atmosphere was nice. I bought a slice of the Dubai cheesecake to go and for $6, I only ate 2 of the 6 pieces of baklava while I was there, so I took the rest home. Very fair price point and delicious baked goods and coffee. I will return to try their lunch options soon! Would highly recommend!

The Manzara Cafe offers the luxury of room! Despite it being a comparably small cafe to others, it offers tables that you can sit on without having the feeling you are resting on your table neighbor's lap. There are eight tables and a service station, plus two spots for working people. Since the cafe is not overfilled, you can appropriately concentrate, and people are not shouting at you. The tables are far away from each other that the conversations stay within the respective groups. When the cafe started filling up, it got a bit louder, but it was far not as bad as other cafes or restaurants. However, it might have been a good idea to turn the music down a bit. The sound is Turkish music, calming and relaxing. But when there are too many people they try to overshout the sound. This was my second visit, and I did my stay enormously. The first time I had a mere coffee, which was very good, this time I had a cappuccino and a 'Mixed Berry' waffle, which was absolutely perfect! The small one was just enough to be filling without overstuffing me, the waffle was made fresh, with fresh berries and bananas, served warm, and enjoyable. The service here is excellent, and I'm surely going to come back and try other things, in particular the well-recommended Dubai Waffle.

Had no idea what to get. Was helped to pick out a smoothie, beef borek, and some tree leches for a nice treat to myself after a work trip on my way home. My expert was extremely kind and helped me greatly pick out my stuff. I saw this place had good ratings and went out of my way to come here. 5 stars all around. Extremely good service, smoothies, and food:) Thank you to my kind friend. Ended a good two day trip with a great experience. All food and desserts looked so good I couldn’t pick! Gave me tea for the ride!!!!

The dessert tastes AMAZING!! Do not skip on the tres leches and the tirimasu cake! The owner Huseyin was really kind and accommodating, I requested a sweet vanilla iced coffee which wasn’t explicitly on the menu and it was delicious. The service is amazing too, he brought it to our table where my friends and I were chatting for a while, which was just above and beyond. Highly recommend! Also the prices are fair! 100% Halal menu btw!!

I had a latte, banana bread, and baklava. They were all amazing. The coffee didn't need any sweetener and was lovely on its own with a note of spice. The pastries were obviously fresh and tasted great. The atmosphere was welcoming without being too loud. The service was friendly and quick and their kiosk didn't ask for a tip like so many places do these days which is nice . I look forward to coming back and trying their savory food as well.

Great little cafe for getting work done or catching up with a friend. I go there to do homework and get a snack. The kardelrn cake is a highlight for me and something I've never had anywhere else. The lattes are always great as well. People are generally quiet, and it tends to be an older crowd, but as a student I feel perfectly welcome. Everything is clean including the bathroom. Parking is no problem at all which makes it a convenient place to just stop by. They have great hours whether you're up in the morning or need a change of location at 9pm. Prices are fairly standard for a cafe in Rochester. This is my go to cafe, and I would especially recommend Manzara to U of R students who want a place fairly close to campus to get out and about.

First time going to this place and everything was delicious. Coffee was better then what I can get at any chains and the food is to die for. I am definitely coming back.

The Turkish coffee is the real deal, rich, strong, unapologetic, like it actually remembers where it comes from. The service is even better, attentive without hovering and genuinely warm instead of performative. This place treats coffee like a craft and guests like they matter, which somehow feels rare these days.

I had the Dubai Waffle, the small portion. It looked exactly like the photo of it on the Google Maps when searching for restaurants. I enjoyed the texture of the pistachios with the waffle and chocolate sauce. The waffle was quite sweet, so the baklava I ordered when home in a box for later this week. I also had a cup of black tea. It was delicious.

Small cafe tucked in on Monroe Street, my first visit, personally I only go for hot tea, but today I went for hot sweet, boiled, frothy milk, dusted with cocoa, and some sugar gummy like square in a tooth pick, on the side. I was biting this sugar cube, in between my sips of milk. This cube had flavor of rose water and kewra, a familiar taste for me, it's used for flavor in sweet things in India. It was fun. I loved the place, quite, simple, place.

Update: Ouch! I only stated what was facts. Nothing more and nothing less. My rating was 3 stars not 2. I hope everyone enjoy’s the 50% discount on me! Original Review: We have been meaning to come to this cafe for a while but didn’t get the opportunity until today. We ordered 2 Classic Cheese, 2 Loaded, Hot Chocolate with Cream and Turkish Tea. It pains me to write this review but here is what happened. When we arrived there were only 4 customers in the cafe. We placed our order and waited for our food. More customers came in after us and did the same. After 30 minutes we still didn’t receive our food but the customers that came after us had gotten theirs. After 50 minutes we still hadn’t been served so we addressed this with the owners. They were extremely polite and apologetic. We are looking forward to returning to sample some other dishes and add a few more stars. Maybe we will get to see the turkey walking around in the car park again!
