We went in for our Anniversary yesterday was the first people there stopped at the beautiful bar for a beer then were seated. My first impression was wow factor. The Food was good but I wish there would of been more cheese selections. The meat selections were very good slow and coming. Server was excellent. No doggie bags allowed get ready to pay $127 per couple for the base salad bar and meat no desserts or cocktails all extra. We enjoyed ourselves could of ate more but did not want to overfil

Great experience all around, manager came to our table asking if there was any meats we want that we haven’t received and we told him and within one minute we got both meats we asked for. Our waitress (McKenna) checked in multiple times with us and kept the table clean of dishes we weren’t using anymore and was connecting with us very well. Outstanding all around!!

This was such a fun and fancy-feeling dining experience! We enjoyed the table service and all the meats were delicious, especially the picanha and spicy steak. The charcuterie/salad options had a wide variety and were delicious as well, although unfortunately we got so full we couldn’t finish it all. I definitely recommend pacing yourself and saving room so you can try a bit of everything. Also recommend coming earlier in the evening; we arrived at 8pm because we couldn’t come earlier, and it was a good experience but I do wish we’d had more time to enjoy it all before closing time. There was not much wait for a table, and the servers were great. The crème brûlée was divine.

I was touring in Rochester and decided to visit this particular chain. I’ve visited several in the south but this was definitely the best service I have ever received. Lindsay was a superb server. Plus she is a bartender and made me a delicious cocktail. The vegetables were delicious; beets, potatoes, etc. They had pineapple carpaccio was delicious. We also had desert which is ala carte. We went around 4pm on Saturday which was an excellent time. As soon as we sat the gentlemen served us meats which were delicious!! It started getting crowed around 5:30pm. Be sure to make a reservation!!

Thus is a higher end steak house and acts that way. The meat was delicious. My favorites was the flank steak. I also really liked the sausage. Everyone at the table had a different favorite--- that tells you it all was good. Take the servers suggestion to use the fried plantains to cleanse your pallet between meats. The salad bar was so much more than salad. I had perfectly marinated cucumbers and onions. The grilled peppers were fantastic and the tomatoes were perfectly fresh. The thing to not pass on was the green beans and asparagus. They were cooked but not so much that they didn't snap. A vegetarian would have enough to eat. I only tasted the potato sides because the meat and vegetables were so delicious. We went on a Monday. That meant it was not crowded and parking was easy.

There were 4 of us for dinner Sunday evening My husband and I have been once before and it was our friends first time. Lauren was our server. She was the best! Always checked to see how everything was, and always with a smile! We plan on asking for her out next time there. The food is amazing, special cocktails were delicious, and desserts were fantastic!!

From the moment we were greeted when we arrived, to the moment we left, the service was nothing short of exceptional. Our waitress, Dani, was amazing—attentive, kind, and truly aimed to please. She asked our preference of preparedness and listened to every detail of our requests. The food was delicious, as always, and our steaks just as we requested! The gauchos were equally impressive. Once they figured out the types of proteins we liked best, they made a point to stop by more frequently with our favorites. One gentleman in particular, Juan, stood out with his warm, welcoming, charming demeanor. He made us feel as if we were guests at his own dining room table. The GM, is Trevor. When we mentioned the outstanding service, he raved about each staff and how proud he is to have such a great team. This level of service made an already great meal into an unforgettable experience. Can’t wait to return!

The buffet was fresh, diverse, and absolutely delicious—each item carefully prepared and beautifully presented. But the star of the show was the meat—succulent, perfectly seasoned, and served with impeccable timing. Every cut was a delight. A very special thanks to Mr. Trover the manager, who went above and beyond to make our visit extraordinary. He was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. He even personally brought selections of meat to our table, took the time to introduce each cut, and made us feel like VIP guests. His passion for hospitality truly elevated our entire experience. I had a absolute amazing time eating here. My husband had a work end of the year party here for the first time in a few years. There was a couple meats that were a little to red for me but I won't complain. I also tried the pineapple margarita and it was so good. I stopped at 1 because it was dangerously good the alcohol wasn't as strong so I could have had more. 10/10 I recommend this place and it was busy while we were there. I would make a reservation to make sure you get a table.

An interesting and satisfying format of the establishment. If you want to eat your fill of meat, then this is the place for you. However, we were there on Saturday evening, when there were many guests, the service was not the best. The meat was often too salty and over-peppered. Also, when the waiters brought the meat from the grill, the edges were burnt and they just cut it for you, it is not very pleasant and tasty.

So, we have been visiting this location on a semi-regular basis throughout its many owners these last 4 or 5 years - for some background. Additionally, we loved Copper Leaf in Pittsford! When we came, we were both planning on the chicken sandwich. Which they were out of. And then two beers in a row that we ordered, were out of stock. Bummer. Staff took a very long time to serve and just like in the previous two establishments, they were clearly understaffed. We were told that just before Copper Leaf took over, that this would be a less family-friendly environment (because what weirdos bring young kids to bars and around drunk people?) this unfortunately wasn't the case. Young kids running around and screaming. Great. Copper Leaf has a LOT of improving to do. I hope they can pull this off, because I love the original establishment.

We've been to this location many times. It is NOT cheap. You really need to eat your money's worth of food for it to be worth it. Meat selection is ok for what it is. Unfortunately, recently we order to go, and we were extremely disappointed. I paid extra for the filet mignon that I asked be cooked rare- medium rare, and we got rubbery overcooked meat. It was inedible. We were also missing a side that should have come with our order. I reached out to their support and was dissappointed in their customer service. They offered an insulting $20 egiftcard. My family and I like coming here for birthdays, but after our take out experience I don't think we'll be going back. Anyway, if you so decide to go, ask for Ray to be your server, he's amazing!

Probably would not go back. Beer selection was ok. Bartender was ok. Food was ok until I found a hair at the bottom of my wrap. Had to ask for napkins and silverware. For just opening, the place was dirty. Miss the old copperleaf in pittsford. Nothing like that.

The meat was well done and the meat was not fresh. They had us come in and then were forcing us to leave once we had a little food. Then they charged us a lot of money for the short time we were there. They shouldn't have us dine there and should have told us they were about to close. We wouldn't need to eat there. Lobster bisque was okay. If the meat is the same as what they served us, I highly recommend not to go there.

We went to this restaurant on Saturday evening around 5:30 pm. It was very busy. This is a nice restaurant inside, and it looks and feels upscale. Overall, the food was best at the cold salad bar and hot side foods. They looked fantastic and tasted really good. The service at our table was not so good. We were asked if medium rare meats were good, which we said yes. Meat carver stops at our table were few, with pork, bacon wrapped chicken, and ribs coming by. One stop was made with bacon wrapped filet, which was way too salty. The other meats were too salty, too. I saw other reviewers say meats were too salty, also. Beef sirloin came by, which we were told was medium rare... it was rare... maybe raw (see the picture), too bloody for us. Our waitress told us she would have someone come over with medium rare; we never saw that happen. The meat carvers came to our table with skewered shrimp and spicy filet after we finished eating... these meats were not offered to us for more than an hour that we were there. Skewers of shrimp passed by our table many times with the meat servers, but they never stopped at our table until we were finished eating. The biggest problem here is that meats are not brought around to all tables evenly or in any particular order that we could observe. We each got about 4 pieces of meats, maybe 1 - 2 oz each, which included the bloody sirloin steak. Another problem was that meat carvers did not understand English nor speak it, which was a big problem. The meats we were served were way too salty. Getting meat served at your table is $22 more per person over the $32 salad bar price. It was not worth it in quantity served nor quality. The cold bar ran out of some food. The hot shrimp soup baine marie went empty at the hot foods area, and it was not refilled. The mens room was out of hand wash soap and paper towels. This is not what we would expect from an upscale restaurant. Overall, it was very disappointing, especially after spending $155+ for two. It's hard to recommend this restaurant to others. They need to improve customer table service and stop over salting meats! Ownership should read reviews posted here by customers and see the same things often written: too much salt in meat, too few visits to tables by meat carvers, and undercooked meat.

They should just close if they don’t want customers. Went at 8pm on a Friday night and have never felt so unwelcome! The restaurant section was dark, and I think there were about 5 other customers at the bar besides the two of us. Took a while to get a drink order, seemed like the bartender was busy talking to other employees. We ordered the chorizo and carnitas quesadillas and it was gross, stale tortillas with a clump of meat and cheese in the middle of the plate. The menu said it was served with salsa and crema and all we got was sour cream. No one came to see how we were doing so we finished our drinks and couldn’t wait to leave, seemed like the staff felt the same way. Sad to see a new place that cares so little about customers!

Slow service, minimal staff. Waitress forgot our drink order and did not bring a side of fries. We asked for a turkey wrap without the aioli and they included the aioli anyway. When the drink finally arrived, it was mostly ice. Mediocre food. We were looking for a good time Saturday night but had much more fun on our couch with our cats.

We have previously had great experiences here, but this recent trip was very poor. The meats were all brought to us before we could even make it back from the salad bar, so we missed half of them. We would request items, but they would come to us EXTREMELY rare. Rare to the point where I’m concerned of illness. Though we were previously regular customers, we will not be returning. They raised their prices by an extreme amount while simultaneously decreasing the quality of the experience.

Very Disappointing Take-Out Experience - Quality Issues & No Follow-Up We recently ordered take-out for our anniversary, hoping to enjoy a special meal at home since we were both feeling unwell. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. We specifically requested our meat to be cooked rare, but everything arrived well-done. This was incredibly frustrating, especially for a special occasion. To add to our disappointment, the sausage, which we usually enjoy, was hard. The overall quality of the take-out order was far below our expectations. To address these issues, my husband left a voicemail for the manager. Regrettably, we never received a call back. The complete lack of follow-up from management after a clear quality issue and a special occasion order was very disheartening and surprising for a restaurant of this price point. Note: We have dined in at once before and were very happy with that experience.
