Rockaway Bagels is good it's a small place located right near a bus stop and people get to have their morning coffee they're sometimes while they're waiting for the bus or a bagel they're about to change it says over to a Burger Shop which will keep the same name which is an interesting thing the food is good the people are kind and courteous it's a very small place with a few tables in it

The owner/manager always has an attitude. Were it not for the fact that the bagels are the best in town I would give this place a 1 star or less. Get your act together. Its your customers who make your business what it is. Leave your problems at home and if you need to take a break and clear your head then do so, dont let out your frustrations out on others. A little friendly advice.

This bagel shop can be hit or miss. Sometimes they ignore you and sometimes the service is standard. For the prices, the quality isn't the best. It's a neighborhood establishment, which means it does pretty good business.

Went there today and although they were busy, there was no reason why I got the worst service. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and there was barely any cream cheese on there. There was more bread than cream cheese. I should have went back because it was so ridiculous. Then I ordered a small iced coffee and was told they only had large. Apparently they ran out of small cups so why not make me a small in a large cup? I'm not going back there anymore. Boardwalk bagels has much better service and better bagels. BYE BYE!!

They were out of rolls, so they charged me an extra $1.75 to put my sandwich on a wrap. Sign says the charge is for flat bread and bagels. Millennial behind counter was rude when I asked about it.

I tried to calm the store however it just rung out. So I decided to post a review. This is simply terrible customer service and poor treatment of a customer...I want my money back and an apology. Everything bagel tasted off. Also ordered a chicken sandwich with specific ingredients, got their version of it and was missing ingredients I bad extra for. Glad I only visit the area.

Not good at all, I ordered chicken cutlet sandwich after I saw some fresh chicken coming out, only to end up with some old hard chicken..GROSS, will be my last visit.. I have options...

So I’ve been coming here for over a month now and while the bagels are good, they tend to drop the ball on their “non regular” customers. This morning I made a order for pick up via phone. When I showed up,it came out no more than 2 mins after I arrived. I watched it go from the top counter to the bottom counter patiently behind other orders. I then watched a “regular” (bc the cashier knew him by name) came and pointed his order which was behind mind out and she promptly rang it up. When I then said something, she tried to make it seem as if I just came and she didn’t do what she just did. Then another customer tried to chime in not knowing the situation.The way they treat their “regulars” compared to people that come a few times a week is nasty,they need to do better. No breakfast is worth a cashier trying to make it seem like ok stupid and like I made things up

I am so infuriated with the cashier in Rockaway Bagels. My friend walks in with her service dog and she starts screaming "that dog can not be in here" we said she is a service dog. She says "I don't care, we don't like dogs and allow them in here. They lick everything. You gotta get it out of here right now" My friend went to order because she knows her dog is allowed to be with her and the lady is screaming. She says "you need to get it out of here, have someone go stand with it outside" The other patrons were upset and we were all upset. The manager comes out after the other staff tells her that it's the law and the dog can stay. The manager defends the cashier (who I believe is his family member or wife) saying she didn't know. Smh we told her and she chose to still carry on!!! It's not my friend's fault that she wasn't educated on the laws. The manager stated they are having an issue with the veterinary hospital staff allegedly bringing in dogs. Issues or not with whomever that still doesn't change the law. Hopefully lesson is learned and the lady is a lot nicer to future customers. Unfortunately she caused my family and friend to not want to frequent there anymore.

I placed my order and there were 4-5 people after me that got their order before me. I ordered 2 bagels toasted and a bagel with chicken sala . Nothing complicated that warranted me to wait that long. Not going back to this Bagel Sho .

The cashier in this store charges whatever she wants to. I ordered the same sandwich 2 days in a row except on the second day she wants to charge me $4.50 more. I don’t mind paying for my food but I don’t like being scammed and then being given an attitude on top of it. This lady started talking a different language to my face to complain about me to her coworker. Very rude! Never coming back!
