I had such a great time sitting at the bar at Bonefish Grill! My bartender Ashley was absolutely amazing, so friendly, warm, and easy to talk to. I was laughing the entire time we chatted. Even though it was busy for Martini Monday, she still made the experience worth it and made me feel like I was her top priority. She recommended a drink I wouldn’t have thought to order on my own, and it was perfect, spot-on in flavor and exactly what I didn’t even know I wanted. She also made it flawlessly every time. You can tell she really knows her craft and cares about giving her guests the best experience possible. Between her great personality, perfect drink-making skills, and awesome recommendations, she really made my night. I’ll definitely be coming back and sitting at her bar again!

I recently visited Bonefish Bar and Grill in Rockville Center, New York, thanks to a gift card, and let me tell you, it was the incredible customer service that will keep me coming back! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. I was promptly seated and welcomed with water, table bread, and this amazing herbed olive oil that I absolutely have to go back for. Starting with the Bang Bang Shrimp, a staple that you just can’t miss, my meal only got better from there. The calamari was seasoned and fried to perfection, served with a delightful aioli. The summer special ceviche was another standout, with crisp tortilla chips and a perfect balance of acidity and seafood. For entrees, I recommend trying what’s in season. This time, I had the wood plank salmon with French fries and Brussel Sprouts, and the seared scallops with jasmine rice. The salmon was cooked to perfection, topped with a creamy crab and spinach mixture, and the Brussel Sprouts were perfectly crispy tossed in a slight glaze that will send you to the moon. The scallops were seared beautifully, paired with bacon and feta crumbles, and the jasmine rice complemented them well. Dessert was the cherry on top. The seasonal Drunken Coconut Pie was like an upgraded version of Entenmann’s coconut cream pie, warm with delicious bourbon sauce and a healthy amount of coconut bits that had me feeling like I was on a tropical island. But the star of the show was the key lime cake. It had a perfect balance of sweet and salty, with a cream cheese frosting and coconut flakes, served with a swirl of whipped cream. It was so good, I ordered another slice to go, dont judge me!. Special shoutout to our server, Jada, who went above and beyond, and to the rest of the team who provided hands-on service. There is a culture of teamwork that is evident throughout your dining experience. Even when there was an issue with my card and their terminal, the manager swiftly resolved it and even gave me a free appetizer card for my troubles. To drink, we recommend the Pina Colada. Although it wasn't frozen as they do not serve frozen drinks, it sure was tasty and came with a cute garnish. They also have a variety of soft drinks with FREE refills. There's a large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including a passion fruit rum punch that we heard was great. Overall, Bonefish Bar and Grill offers a mom-and-pop feel with delicious food and top-notch service. So next time you’re in Rockville Center, or even if you’re not, head over to Bonefish Bar and Grill. You won’t regret it! Oh, and don’t skip the bread and oil dip —it’s to die for!

My husband surprised me with brunch at this establishment for a pre-birthday celebration. This was my very first time here. Firstly, our waiter Christan was AMAZING! He was pleasant, professional, and had a great sense of humor. Right off the back I was pleased. The environment gave me classy, but a chilled vibe. I had the shrimp with grits with creole sauce. It was very delicious. I was not a fan of the creole sauce but only because that's not my thing. I just wanted to try it. The shrimp and potatoes that came with it were amazing! With a glass of mimosa (my first mimosa). My daughter enjoyed her food and so did my husband. Over all, the experience we had was a 10. And, trust, I can be picky, so this says a lot coming from me. Very clean environment, including the bathrooms. It was a really nice experience. Perfect for the occasion. Thank you husband.

I tried the Blueberry Lemon Drop Martini as well, it was good...not overwhelming or strong, sweet, didn't get Blueberry lemon though. Staff was phenomenal, they are so kind and welcoming. The owner has a real passion for what he does, and is grateful for what he has. By the way, if you need any special accommodations, they are more than happy to help, don't be afraid to ask! This is a fancy spot, so lovely and comfortable inside. It is dark with a warm glow from the dim lights and candles. The bar is quite a lovely centerpiece, and there is plenty of seating between the divider. There is bar seating, high top tables, booths, low tables. Parking can be challenging, there is a large metered parking lot (around back), free after 6pm, or you can take the train in.

We had a wonderful dinner at Bonefish Grill Rockville Centre last weekend and Ariana was our server—she was fantastic! Super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and made great recommendations (the Bang Bang shrimp and the grilled salmon were spot on). She checked in just the right amount without hovering, and handled our group of 6 perfectly even when things got busy. Food came out hot and quick too. Definitely coming back and asking for Ariana next time. Great experience all around!

Food is always pretty good. My husband loves the garlic mashed potatoes. We ate at the bar last time we stopped in and had a small pitcher of mango sangria. Hubs got the lobster ravioli but wasn't too keen on it because the sauce was runny and he expected it to be thicker. I tasted it and it was fine - just wished the sauce was thicker. I enjoyed my fish and chips (got broccoli - they were happy to make the sub). The fish is just the right amount of crispy and I really enjoyed the three pieces! We sat at the bar for personal service right as they opened on Saturday. It was quiet and the bartender was super friendly!

Went with my family and my girlfriend. Sat down and our server Jada was very nice and greeted us immediately. She was really attentive and was quick with the service. Definitely loved this spot. Food was amazing! If you're into Seafood this spot definitely has a nice variety of it. Only recieved 4 stars from me because one of my guest was vegetarian and there really wasn't accommodations on the menu for her, besides the salads and sides. 🤔 From the bread and pesto in olive oil which is given to each table for free, to my main meal entree, I was very much happy with all of my purchases. This establishment is one of my favorites due to their famous Bang Bang shrimp, cocktail and mocktail selections and the atmosphere that gives both date night intimacy or calm outing with friends or family. Recently their food hasn't been so great so I was a bit disappointed the last two times I visited. However their service has remained exceptional.

Easy to see right off of Sunrise Highway servicing Rockville Center and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Valet parking is available in the rear. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Nice staff. Fish, Steaks, and Continental food are the star. Nice bar. We will definitely be going back.

This bonefish is a very decent restaurant. Whenever we come here the door is pretty good, I wouldn't say amazing, just good. I ordered the mahi mahi with shrimp. My wife ordered the chimichurri steak. Service is good as well and the restaurant appearance is the same. If you're looking for a decent restaurant to have some seafood it's ok.

The food was very good. Our waiter, Corey, did a good job for a party of 10. There IS a Gluten-Free menu. The tab came out to around $35 per person with the tip. I expected it to be much more. I’ll be back again.

Food was good and filling. The server was sweet and friendly. However, I felt she was a little slow on the go - meaning she could've brought over the water and bread a lot sooner... it took awhile. Again, she was a very sweet person, maybe she was a bit tied up - but it was very quiet when we were in the restaurant. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly, and the sauce they used was tasty, as were the potatoes - the broccoli was undercooked for my liking. The sharable side of kung pao Brussel sprouts were delicious. The trout was a solid portion and was tasty. The fish tacos were a nice size and pretty good as well. Dragonfruit mocktail was flavorful as well. Parking there is tricky, not a ton of it - so be sure to give a little extra time when visiting in case there are no open spots. Good dining experience, just be aware it's on the pricier side.

I visited Fish Bone Grill for the first time for a 7:30 PM dinner reservation, and overall it was a great experience. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms. Parking was a bit limited — I had to circle the lot a few times and eventually parked in the next lot over. Since it was after 6 PM, parking there was free. Our waitress was very kind and mentioned she was fairly new. She did a good job overall. There were a few moments where it took a little longer for her to come back between the appetizers, the main course, and when we needed the check, but it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. The food was excellent. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and while some items were a bit pricey, the quality made it worth it. Overall, I had a great dinner here and would definitely come back.

I haven't been back to Bonefish Grill in a few years. My favorite was always the bang bang shrimp, but it seems the sauce recipe has changed a bit. It's not as flavorful and doesn't have that same kick it usually does. The Chilean Sea Bass is still great, as well as the mashed potatoes. We love bonefish and frequent often, our server was great. However, the amount of gnats they have there is alarming, they’re even in the bathroom. We spent a lot of time swatting them while eating… ruined the experience. Hope they take care of that problem.

Food is ok, steak and fish usually overcooked. Service is very slow when crowded. Nice place overall. Suggest go when not crowded and stuck to the popular menu items.

We go there often, so this review is based on my experience over time. Service is always great. Food is inconsistent - some days good, other days average but generally too salty. The bang bang shrimp is usually good and so is the salmon. The mahi mahi is sometimes good other times not. Just generally inconsistent.

I love Bonefish Grill and I haven't been here in a couple of years. I was quite surprised that the utensils and plates were actually dirty and fruit flies/gnats were flying all around the food. There was also a piece of plastic in my nieces jasmin rice. The place seemed unkempt. The computer monitor by the bathroom was filthy and there a floor mat on a chair! This was disappointing and I hope things will get better because the food is always delicious.

This location is ok for a quick bite if you're in the area..... the problem we had was fighting off the little gnats that was super annoying......however the food was hot and had flavor ... our bar waitress Ashley was attentive..... T he drinks. hmmmm just ok, it lacked the description of the menu... overall, I would go again, but please take care of the gnat problem

We have gone to a couple of Bonefish Grill restaurants , but mainly in central Florida. The first time we went to this one on Long Island . We went for a pairing event, it was different, nice . The service was good. Our server was nice. As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted and served devil 😈 eggs 🥚 paired with a bloody Mary. It was a nice way to start the afternoon. That was followed by Shrimp 🍤 and Grits paired with Beehive Spritz . They were very good then came the Crab 🦀 Huevos Rancheros paired with a Sparkling Mango 🥭 Sangria, unfortunately the food was cold and it took a long time to replace it, but it did taste ok, the drink was excellent. Then dessert, Creme Brulee French Toast and an Expresso Martini, they were also good, had a great time , they had raffles in between. Although they messed up with one of my dishes, we will try it again, I'm sure they will improve 😉.

Severe Services issues...like severe. Getting passed that the food was very tasty and cooked well. Drinks were very very strong but I think that was because I asked for a manager after the service issue. Maybe they wanted me drunk to forget. Lol.

A disappointed dinner . Service was slow and unattended. House Salad was okay , Caesar was a little better . Main Course : linguine with Clam sauce - 65 . Steak with 2 signature sides - 65 . Mashed Potatoes was warm , steamed Broccoli was over cooked and warm . Key Lime cake -65 . Wait person never came back to fill my glass when the dining room was only half full . Quite disappointed for my anniversary, no one did anything but it’s okay !

Three Strikes and You’re Out: A Disappointing Decline I really wanted to love this place. The exterior looks amazing, and having visited the Bonefish Grill in Syosset (which is consistent and upscale), I had high hopes. But after three takeout attempts, I’m calling the game. Here is the play-by-play: Strike One (The Warm-up): Our first order was right on point. The food was delicious, the order was accurate, and the timing was perfect. It gave us false hope. Strike Two (The Fumble): The second time was a nosedive. The wait was horrendous, the flavors were inconsistent, and there were mistakes in the order that the staff made no effort to fix or replace. Strike Three (The Out): The third and final visit was the nail in the coffin. It was a repeat of the second visit but worse. They forgot parts of our order, the staff seemed completely apathetic, and the food was lackluster at best. In a town like Rockville Centre, where you can throw a rock in any direction and hit a fantastic restaurant, you cannot afford to be this lazy. The RVC dining scene is competitive, and Bonefish needs to step up its game to survive here. Until they do, I won’t be back.

Terrible service. long wait. Mediocre food. Asked for a drink, took one sip, it was bad, asked if I could change it they said ok but still charged me for both.

Johnny the manager is racist. When our server went to handle a discrepancy with the bill, he literally asked in spanish (obviously not knowing we are Afro-latina) if we were black and how black people are always complaining. We will never come back

Call Gordon Ramsey quick! This Bonefish location has deteriorated from what it was when it first opened. You can get a better meal at Wild Ginger or Red Lobster. The Hostess was unprofessionally dressed in sneakers & leggings greeting patrons with no smile. On a Friday before a 3 day weekend there were few patrons. The atmosphere was poorly lit. No spectacular signature dishes. Took 25 minutes for my waitress to take my order after my drinks came. The calamari appetizer was overcooked, Cesar's salad lettuce old, wilted too much dressing. I had to use my flash light to see trout was burnt & dry. Honestly, better off going to any other restaurant in the area.

We dine in RVC at least 3 times a week. I thought we give this place a try. The food was good. We just couldn’t finish it. Smashing and waving gnats was not a plan for dinner. The soda was flat. Once we got our food it was no waiter to check on us and at least 30 minutes to find someone to give us our check. It was 8 customers there dining. I’m never going back to Gnatbone Grill.

Food is overpriced. Half pound beef burger with fries $31 plus taxes is a total ripoff. Small portions and food quality and taste below par. I spent $180 for dinner yesterday, never again I rather go to red lobster better portions and better taste.

As a Bonefish aficionado, this was a difficult encounter and certainly not up to the quality I expected. My server, Jada, was an amazing support: attentive, responsive, and effective at solving problems. She tried her best, and I deeply appreciate her. The food, however, was not up to par. Old, spoiled strawberries in my strawberry martini; crab cakes felt like they were pulled from the frozen food aisle; the scallops were overcooked; my sea bass was overcooked; and my salad was oversaturated with balsamic vinegar. When I spoke with the manager, Art Sorenson, he acknowledged that he was aware of the spoiled fruit in my drink but did nothing to correct the error during my dining experience. When trying to voice the repeated failures in the food selection, he was quick to rush away and end the conversation. Worse of all, he blamed my server, as if she was responsible for the kitchen and the overcooked food. A true let-down because I expected more awareness from the "manager". Since he knew there were errors in the kitchen, he could have leaned in sooner and helped resolve the situation rather than pass the blame when the customer voices a concern. Leaders set the tone for excellence, and this certainly was not an excellent experience outcome facilitated by strong leadership. Rockville Centre deserves more.

Complete waist of time and money, extremely small portions, under cooked seafood and the lobster tail was stiff, hard and overcooked with a nasty rank taste with no flavor at all! On the other hand the appetizers were tasty, only if I knew this i would've saved my money and ordered a bunch of appetizers instead.

They need a time limit, or better service with the host desk. I waited for them to clean a seat at the bar for 45 minutes. Someone walks in and sits down. I let them know I’ve been waiting and the host tells me it’s first come first serve. I say exactly, I’ve been waiting. And he says maybe next time hover. Why would I hover over someone eating? I then watched a couple order one drink and sit at the bar for an hour. Mondays are the worse. I ended up ordering my food to go. There wasn’t any apology or anything.

The service started off great server Antonio started off going over the menu with us and giving us recommendations since it was our first time there , he took our order and our drinks and appetizers came out within 15/20 minutes …. ( they were busy but not to busy) . That was it we waited for about 50 minutes after that to receive our food , not once did anyone come check on us or apologize for the delay . We had to wave down the waiter and ask who said its coming right out and it did about 7 minutes later and boy oh boy was it a disappointment the food was nasty that was the worst mac and cheese I ever had it tasted like flour and cheese … yuck… and the portions size was disrespectful …. The calamari was super small and their famous bang bang shrimp super soggy and sat on a bed of so much lettuces …. This place was such a let down. Oh and the bathrooms were filthy!!!!
