Metti una passeggiata in Via del Corso, si fa ora dell'aperitivo, te ne accorgi perché il sole inizia a tramontare, da qui l'idea goderci a pieno questo momento. Dopo un paio di ricerche ci imbattiamo in questa location è inizio con il dire che la vista è un vero plauso. Iniziamo con un aperitivo sfizioso e originale con del buon pane accompagnato con un ottima crema e olive con scorza di arancia. Gli antipasti veramente eccezionali dal baccalà con il tartufo all'ottimo accostamento tonno e pesche e carpaccio con melograno, c'è molta cura nella presentazione. Tagliolino al granchio ottimo, ben condito. Per concludere non può mancare il dolce, il tiramisù buono ben bilanciato. Un esperienza da promuovere, prezzo in linea con la zona e la qualità. Servizio attento e cordiale. Davvero un angolo bello di Roma.

Veramente un ambiente accogliente ed elegante. Ci hanno trattato con educazione dall inizio alla fine, addirittura con un dolcetto in regalo nel finale ricordando che era il nostro anniversario nonostante io lo avevo appena accennato al telefono ma per avere un tavolo carino. Il cibo è veramente di alta qualità e migliore rispetto molti rooftop blasonati, piatti sopra la media e sapori eccezionali. Torneremo. Vista non da wow ma molto bella su una parte di Roma.

La vista è il senso che ci connette al mondo, permettendoci di percepirne la bellezza e le sfumature. Magnifica terrazza per un aperitivo al tramonto.

Locale situazione al centro di Roma dietro piazza del Popolo e con vista San Pietro!! È una terrazza che d'estate ovviamente è aperta e d'inverno diventa come un locale al chiuso, col dispiacere però di non vedere Roma perchè ci sono le tende che non permettono una visuale ottimale Staff molto gentile e cordiale, tanto che ci prendono anche i cappotti per sistemarceli nell'armadio. Ci siamo accomodati poco dopo il nostro arrivo e dico subito che nel complesso saremmo stati circa 2 ore per un antipasto ed un primo, quindi tempistiche un pochino troppo lunghe. Siamo partiti con una tartare del pesce del giorno, in questo caso tonno e delle capesante con crema di zucca e guanciale croccante. Entrambi i piatti erano buonissimi, delicati e saporiti ma che davano molto risalto alla materia prima. Le portate principali sono state gnocchi allo scoglio, taglioni con sogliola, limone e caviale, e per finire linguine ai ricci di mare! Inutile dire che tutte le portate erano realizzate veramente bene, sapori amalgamati che esplodevano in bocca!! Gli gnocchi morbidi e gustosi; i tagliolini delicati ma decisi, col limone che sgrassava il palato; le linguine cremosissime, col sapore di mare dei ricci che esplodeva in bocca!! Non abbiamo preso i dolci perchè non ci ispiravano, ma per quello che abbiamo mangiato ve lo stra consiglio!!!

La raffinata eleganza della semplicità unita ad un servizio impeccabile. La tradizione culinaria reinterpretata con gusto ma senza affettazione. Una terrazza magnifica e discreta sui tetti di Roma.

Google photos doesn’t show the beauty of the view :) I’ve chosen this cool rooftop for birthday celebration and haven’t checked their IG. At the point of checking photos here I was sure that food I will be grate and service must be excellent, but had some hesitation and thought about booking another restaurant. When we arrived there were no more hesitation, it was perfect choice with the atmosphere, good lounge music on a background, excellent service and gorgeous view to Rome, its nice trees, birds and lovely sunset. Great variety of seafood and my favorite scallops. The only problem for me was scallops were served with bacon which looked nice as a composition, but I couldn’t eat it. They changed it for me without doubts and I enjoyed my appetizer. Desserts were served in deconstructed form

I have been here multiple times. Beautiful location, great atmosphere and staff. Food is delicius, I usually have the raw fish/shrimps and oysters platter, plus spaghetti with vongole. This place totally deserves a visit, I would recommend on a sunny spring day at lunch time!

I made a reservation online through Fork.it but it was denied for some reason. When our party of three showed up on a Sunday evening with no reservation they accommodated us without hesitation. We were seated promptly and enjoyed the very nice sunset view of Rome. We ordered and our food came out hot and fresh. Everything was so good from the fried fish of the day appetizer to their homemade bread, my main dish of handmade pasta with zucchini and sword fish AND the phenomenal dessert of chocolate cake with caramel sauce and peanut butter gelato. This is one of the BEST meals I have had while living in Rome.

I really enjoyed having lunch here. We were warmly welcomed by a hotel staff member at the entrance and kindly guided to the rooftop restaurant. The restaurant offers an excellent view of the city, and the food was just as impressive. Everything was perfectly cooked, bringing out the subtle essences of the ingredients.

Rome's rooftop view isn't as fancy as other cities, but I recommend it when you want to have a quiet dinner in good weather. The lobster pasta and caviar lemon pasta are really delicious. It's a bit pricey, but it's a great place to visit for a special occasion. It's the friendliest place I've ever met in Italy.

We had a fantastic time here enjoying the view and our drinks. The lobster pasta was out of this world good and the rest of our meal was fresh and tasty. Only downside was not being able to order cocktails until 3pm. Their wines were a good replacement! The service was good and friendly. They even gave me a birthday tart to celebrate! Would recommend coming here for lunch where it’s much more relaxed.

Lovely rooftop atmosphere and delicious food. We sat on the high top to fully enjoy the view during the sunset, it was absolutely beautiful. Everything we ordered were delicious. From the breads, fried pumpkin flowers with anchovies, carpaccio, to two pastas. Tiramisu at the end was a nice finishing touch. Got slightly chilly towards later in the evening, would recommend a light outer layer.

Wow. I wanted a rooftop view and got one of the best. Not knowing this was a Michelin Star restaurant -(2 stars) I went for the view . Make a reservation as far in advance as possible. Upon entering the hotel the hostess called up to the restaurant to authorize elevator to the roof. Greeted by name out of the elevator and seated. The food was excellent. Fish is the main menu item along with pasta and steak dishes. See pictures. 26 Gins on the bar. I was in heaven. Worth every penny.

This is a great place to dine inside the historic city of Rome. The roof terrace offers stunning views of the skyline of Rome. The restaurant is very stylish and the service is professional, friendly, and courteous. The food is really delicious and the portions of the dishes are in comparison to equivalent restaurants satisfactory. The wine list is a good choice of wines from all Italian regions. Due to the special position, the views, and the illumination this restaurant is also suitable for a romantic dinner. The prices are adequate to the quality and position of the restaurant. A real advantage of this restaurant is, that there is public parking right in front of it. To sum up, this is a great place to enjoy dinner outside in Rome.

Terrazza con vista su tutta Roma pazzesca. I piatti sono buoni, anche se, come inganna il nome, non sono del ristorante Acquolina (cosa che ci si potrebbe aspettare dalla vicinanza). Grande varietà di cocktail marchiati Molinari e non. If Only the Food Were as Well Seasoned as Their Arrogance If you’re looking for a masterclass in how not to run a high-end seafood restaurant, congratulations — you’ve found Rome’s finest example. Our anniversary dinner here was unforgettable for all the wrong reasons, and we’re still recovering emotionally. Service? Let’s call it “educational.” The manager refused to speak to us directly, delegating every uncomfortable moment to junior staff like he was allergic to accountability. His Olympic-level eye-rolling was, admittedly, the most consistent performance of the night. Tourists, brace yourselves — this may be the warm hospitality awaiting you too. And then came the food, each dish a new surprise: • Vongole pasta complete with sand — a “beach experience” we didn’t ask for. • Crab pasta where the only fresh element was the overpowering lemon. • Fritto misto burnt to the point it tasted smoked. • Wines so thin they could be marketed as “water with ambition.” • A Monblanc dessert that made us long for an actual patisserie. • Bread that was the hardest, driest we’ve tasted anywhere in Italy — an achievement, honestly. But the true lowlight was the “catch of the day” acqua pazza, proudly recommended to us as the highlight. The fish arrived fishy, undercooked, with visible blood and rubbery skin glued to the flesh. When we politely raised the issue, we were told the fish is “supposed to be salty and fishy.” Fascinating — we’ve never encountered this mythical “naturally fishy fish” before. Their response to our review? They claimed we were disrespectful — because nothing says professionalism like gaslighting customers instead of admitting the fish wasn’t fresh. The arrogance here could be Michelin-starred, even if the restaurant is not. (Fun fact: some diners believe this place has a Michelin star because there’s a real one elsewhere in the hotel. The restaurant proudly clarifies they’re not listed — so Michelin can’t “punish” them. Comforting.) A few final tips: • The rooftop looks stunning — in photos. Once the sun sets, good luck seeing anything. • The rating absolutely does NOT reflect the reality. Unless the reviews were written from a parallel universe. • Many positive comments feel… creative. Real diners rarely write glowing essays for food and service this inconsistent. • AMEX cardholders: If you have dining credit, please save it. Your hard-earned money deserves better. No meal is ever truly “free.” • If you want a peaceful, enjoyable evening for this price, just book an actual Michelin-star restaurant in Rome. If zero stars were possible, this would earn it effortlessly. Visit at your own risk — or better yet, go literally anywhere else in Rome where food, service, and honesty still matter.

"Best" place to go if you have Amex dining credit burning a hole in your pocket. Otherwise, I’d strongly recommend trying one of the other restaurants on the Rome Amex list—or better yet, save your money altogether. If Amex wasn’t footing the bill, I wouldn’t dream of spending my own euro here. Let’s start with the positives: the view. It’s undeniably stunning and a great spot for an evening drink and dinner. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t even come close to matching the scenery. My wife and I had a late lunch earlier in the day, so we decided to dip our toes in with just two appetizers (baby octopus and tuna tartare) before committing to mains or dessert. The presentation was lovely, but the flavors? Disappointingly average. So much so that we stopped at the starters—no mains, no dessert, not even a coffee. As for the oysters on the menu, they’re priced at an eye-watering €12 per oyster. For context, oysters in Paris—a city not exactly known for being budget-friendly—usually cost €3-4 each. At €12, I’m assuming these must be the most mind-blowingly delicious oysters on the planet, though I didn’t dare test that theory. A word of caution for smokers: while they do provide ashtrays, this is not a “cigar-friendly” rooftop, so if you’re envisioning a relaxing evening with a smoke, a drink, and a view, you might want to look elsewhere. All in all, the view is nice—but then again, so are the views from most rooftop bars in Rome. Thanks to Amex for picking up the tab, but I’d highly suggest delisting AcquaRoof from your global dining selection. We came for the view, stayed for the credit, and left unimpressed.
