Abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno dì un'amica qui et era una scelta giusta. Cibo buonissimo e d'alta qualità, il servizio gentilissimo e buon ambiente, anche la localizzazione nel centro della città storica ottima. Meglio prenotare in avanzo.

Personale gentilissimo che si è prodigato per farci sedere nella sala storica nonostante ci fosse il pienone. Servizio ottimo così come tutti i piatti che abbiamo provato: dall'antipasto ai secondi, deliziosi. Pane e focaccia altrettanto buoni. Consigliatissimo

Bellissima scoperta al centro di Roma, ristorante storico di qualità che per la posizione strategica a due passi da Campo de Fiori sarebbe potuto diventare “turistico” ma non lo è…molta la clientela locale. Cibo ottimo con i classici romani ma anche molto pesce, servizio molto attento ma amichevole ed informale che ti fa sentire a casa. Prezzo buono per la qualità e la location, sui resti del teatro di Pompeo.

Ristorante vicino a Campo de fiori e pochi minuti da piazza Navona. Personale simpatico e accogliente, non avevamo prenotato ma ci hanno fatto sedere subito. Menù vario e ottimo qualità prezzo. Carciofi alla giudia gustosi e ben fatti! Con il caffe portano dei deliziosi biscottini fatti da loro!

We were only in Rome for a few days, and we were recommended to this restaurant from a tour guide. We enjoyed our meals so much, that we ate there twice. Our waiter, was informative and helped with suggestions, and wine choices. The food was delightful, so many things on the menu I would like to go back and try more. Thoroughly recommend.

Hands down our favorite meal/dinner we had while spending time in Rome! Highly suggest the rigatoni with sausage. Such a cool restaurant inside an old theater, service was fine but not great. I will always remember this meal and we will definitely be back!

You know you are in for a treat when there is standing room only waiting for the hostaria to open. The Casio e Pepe was superb as was the grilled squid (cooked and seasoned to perfection). The only negative was the large table of loud students next to us that tried us and the service staff. Definitely worth the online ratings.

What a gem. We just happen to walk by and made reservations for that evening. It was outrageously delicious and the ambiance was incredible. Imagine eating beautifully prepared roman dishes in an ancient theater. It’s unique charming. The service perfect We are actually going back for our last dinner in Rome. What a find!

A delicious Roman meal. The food was all incredibly fresh, and prepared simply and beautifully. We loved the seafood salad, which was very fresh seafood tossed with lemon and olive oil, and the steak with Barolo wine sauce and mashed potatoes. A great restaurant carved out of a historic amphitheater. This is not your typical tourist trap. The majority of the people eating there were locals but the staff were very welcoming to tourists as well. The cheese and mustard plate is a must have appetizer. We truly enjoyed both of our pasta dishes as well. The restaurant is a little hidden away but worth finding. Honestly, sit inside because it is like traveling back in time.

Celebrated a good friends birthday here and I’ll tell you what. This place did not disappoint! Food here was authentic and delicious! I highly recommend everything in the pictured below. My favorite was the fresh fish and the muscle/clam linguine. The ambiance was a 5 out 5, clean romantic setup. The service was really good as well. Our waiter was really good at making sure we were taken care of and suggestions on what to order.

Best Roman restaurant ! Service is exceptional - we ere lucky to be served by Emanuelle , gentle, funny, really caring person! We get like 2 Queens!!! Food is put of this world!! Try zucchini flowers, tuna mozzarella carpacchio and deserts , no words , we were rolling out happy and satisfied!!! And ambiance - is wow!!! Highly reccomnded !!!

A friend recommended we eat here. The food, service, & atmosphere was exceptional. We let our waiter, Alejandro, recommend our starter. He brought prosciutto, bread, a local bean & artichoke dish, & zucchini flowers. It was all amazing! The zucchini flowers were delicious. For course one, we split the rigatoni with black truffle & sausage. So very tasty. Main course, sea bass & roasted potatoes. Everything was so flavorful! We highly recommend eating here.

Superb! Only way to describe it. The owner of the apt we are staying in recommended Hostaria, and it didn't disappoint. Get their appetizer special - fried zucchini blossoms, fried artichokes, a type of savory cake in a cheessy sauce, thin cut ham and buffalo mozzarella. We had the chateaubriand in mushroom sauce two, ana the Amatriciana pasta dish. Our friends had the grilled lamb and a mushroom pasta dish. Drank their house red wine. Dessert was the tiramisu and it was the best we've had. Will work out to $50-70/person, but so worth it.

We were recommended this restaurant by our concierge and were absolutely blown away by this restaurant! It was our last night of vacation and we had experienced many restaurants in Venice and Florence but Costanza was our favorite by far. Our waiter Emanuel went above and beyond by offering suggestions that were perfect for our family. At the end of the meal he wrote our names in the cappuccino and gave us extra warm cookies to go! Honestly it was the best experience we had on our 10 day vacation ❤️

True Italian Trattoria. I was extremely lucky to find this hidden restaurant in one of the many streets of Rome. The food was excellent; pure Roman deliciousness that gives you feelings of delight, satisfaction and overall happiness. For starters, they gifted us sourdough bread together with other grissini and snacks. The main courses were traditional and luscious; the pasta all’amatriciana is a formal Roman dish, which I absolutely adored. The steaks that my friends ordered were very juicy and well-made; evoking only positive emotions. The red wine we were recommended paired perfectly with the food; it was sweet and flavoursome, no doubt home production! Lastly, we had to try the tiramisù, after being astonished by the meals. And let me tell you… the cherry on the cake; it was the perfect way to end our beautiful night in Rome. The waiter kindly explained that the dessert is made by following an old family recipe. It was incredible. Additionally, the customer service was great, the staff being friendly, welcoming and humorous. Both them and the food ensured a cozy and homey ambiance. In conclusion, I cannot express how much I highly recommend this restaurant. Yes, it’s not the cheapest place, but you get more than what you expect for the price.

This is such a wonderful restaurant. Our hotel concierge recommended it to us, and we were so happy to eat here. We LOVED everything we ate: artichoke ravioli, gnocchi, cacio e pepe, and the suckling pig. Wines were delicious too. And everything is very reasonably priced. Great, friendly service (Thank you Roberto) and cool atmosphere. Will absolutely come here again when we're in Rome. Yum yum 👏🏻

A really good experience here. Very rustic looking inside; great atmosphere. Try to get seated in the old theater section with the domed ceiling, though it does get noisy there. We were in the slightly more mundane and quieter dining room. The beef tartar was excellent. Also the pasta with squid.

Un ristorante caratteristico all'interno dell antico teatro di Pompeo, con piatti gustosi romani (terra e mare) e non solo...Purtroppo una persona in sedia rotelle incontra dei seri ostacoli: uno scalino per entrare, 2 scalini in sala, bagno difficilmente accessibile con sedia davanti alla porta. É un vero peccato per un luogo frequentato da molti turisti, e su google viene indicato come accessibile ...!

Bellissima location, ricavata da un antico teatro " teatro di Pompeo " costruito nel 61 a.c. in piazza del Paradiso a Roma. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto della casa con focaccia , carciofi, crocchette, fiori di zucca ripieni. Di secondo carbonara e cacio e pepe. Pensavo di mangiare una carbonara migliore a Roma ma probabilmente il cuoco non era in serata di grazia, cacio e pepe nel complesso meglio. Di dessert ci siamo orientati su un eccezionale bignè con crema chantilly, peccato un po cari, visto che sono costati 16 euro!!! Consiglio sopratutto per la location, veramente suggestiva e romantica. Chiedete al personale il volantino che spiega l origine del locale.

Ristorante sotto le gradinate delll'antico teatro di Pompeo. Accoglienza genuinamente simpatica e cortese. Ottimi i piatti e la carta dei vini. Prezzi alti ormai.

Andati a cena con amici, cibo buono e porzioni nella norma. Buona la scelta dei vini. Location molto suggestiva.

We asked our hotel for a traditional Italian restaurant where locals eat and suggested Hostsria Costanza. Of course it was all tourists inside. The rustic interior was nice but we were disappointed with the service and food. Our waiter was less than friendly and didn’t seem interested in giving us suggestions and hardly spoke. Neither of us finished our entrees and we were charged for bread that we never ordered or received. Would not go back.

I don't know what's wrong with the waiter. I have been polite and patient to wait until waiters saw my glance and came for me. I ordered Carciofi alla Giudia, which is crispy, deep-fried Jewish style artichoke. And they gave me this. So soft that I didn't have to bite anything. I was hidden behind a pillar. I wanted to order more glass of red wine for my main dish. They brought me it when I finished my main dish. After I finished main dish I had to wait for long and they brought me that artichoke, which was a side dish. It was like receiving potato fries after your main steak done. When I ordered insalada di mare, the waiter explained that it would be cod with zucchini. There was no cod nor zucchini. I double checked with him if the food I received is insalada di mare.
