A great place to celebrate something or just enjoy a leisurely meal made with good quality and fresh ingredients. Don't go if you're in a hurry. We made the mistake going on a school night and left the restaurant past midnight. There aren't many vegan or vegetarian options on the menu but if you ask the waiter they are happy to accommodate. Just have this one photo because forgot to take others but the lobster pasta dish was divine. Also the soufflé dessert (can easily share for two people).

This place is phenomenal. Was super impressed by the service, setting and well thought out menu. Went with my wife for a dinner for two on a Tuesday and was treated to an exceptional meal and bottle of Barolo. Big fan, will come back when I am around in December. Complements to the team who runs the place.

Our last night in Rome, happy that we did dinner here. The ingredients of the food are top notch, with delicate yet simple cooking, bringing out the original flavours of everything. The service and location of the restaurant is also perfect - I noticed that the waiters all have specific roles which you would expect from a really nice restaurant. It’s definitely not a cheap meal, but hey, all nice things come with a cost.

Just coming back from dinner - it was really excellent. We had carpaccio with truffles, sauted porcinis, saltimbocca and lamp chops. Everything was excellent. Grand finale was the zabaione prepared at the table. The service was excellent and we were clearly non-Italians. Absolut recommendation!

I dined at Ristorante Camponeschi 8 years ago when I last visited Rome and remembered that it was a wonderful experience. This past Sunday I was lucky enough to return and my high expectations were surpassed by the incredibly well executed food, friendly staff and comfy ambiance. Turns out that it was the owner who took my order and he could not have been more accommodating and professional. I had chosen a bottle of wine and saw a look on the owner's face that prompted me to ask if he had another suggestion. He explained that the wine I had selected was a bit too bold for what I had ordered and suggested another bottle...even though it was 30€ less than my original choice. That's a sign of not a good but great restaurant. I could not have been more pleased or better fed and the genuinely warm expressions of thanks from the entire staff as I left was quite touching. This is clearly an establishment that is justifiably proud of the experience they create. Return the respect by making reservations.

Excellent restaurant in one of the best squares in roma. The menu is very rich with plenty of options from the typical roman specialties (artichokes, puntarelle, pastas and anything you would expect) to fish (raw as a starter or cooked as a main). Wine list is very good. Do not miss the zabaione that they prepare in front of you. The owner a very nice person.

By far the best experience my husband and I had dining in Rome! My husband and I visited Rome last month to celebrate our 5th anniversary, and we were recommended to eat here from a Roman local we took a cooking class with. It was a tad pricier than other places we ate in the city, but well worth it for the experience! The food was incredible, but the real thing that made this place special was the people. We interacted with both our waiter and the owner of the restaurant, and both were so kind and gracious to us. We felt so welcome, and they even gave us a dessert for our anniversary! The owner was so kind and gave us advice on a happy marriage. After an amazing meal, they even tried calling a taxi for us but none were available. And the owner offered to have one of his waiter's take us back to our Airbnb. Of course, we refused, but it was the most incredible experience. We will absolutely visit here again during our next visit to Rome!

Ooooh.....such a nice place, service. Such a full experiance to have only coffie here. I enjoyed so much here. Place for coffie is on the corner, with beautiful view on whole square. On the top of it we had excellent waiter. We will be back to Rome and this place. If you want to feel a bit higher atmosphere of Rome, without noise of restaurants - this is a place for you with a view on beautiful history palace and squre Farnese.

This is always my last dinner on every trip I make to Rome. It is a beautiful, elegant restaurant and the food and staff are amazing and never disappoints. Can't wait for my next visit.

I had a reasonably nice overall dinner here. I'd say it is definitely overpriced as no dish particularly wowed me. The appetizers were strange, bread but no butter, the olives tasted a bit like prunes, the fried pizza on the other hand was delicious. I had an aubergine flan to start and it was excellent in both presentation and taste. I had the prawn risotto as the main and while it was OK, i felt it needed more seasoning.

Cena durante la settimana con colleghi. Il posto è piacevole, ben situato su un lato di Piazza Farnese, con un ampio dehors. Tavole ben apparecchiate e spazi adeguati. Servizio molto attento. Ho assaggiato il crudo di pesce, decantato dal cameriere, ma ne sono rimasta piuttosto delusa: l'ostrica, pur se carnosa, non era freschissima (amo le ostriche, le mangio spesso e le conosco), i carpacci e la tartare discreti ma senza nulla di più. I due gamberi rossi minuscoli. Nulla giustificava i 38 euro richiesti. Anche gli altri piatti devo dire non esaltanti, nonostante i prezzi, appunto, non esattamente popolari.

Service and ambiance are good, food really not great, especially at the price point. We had a truffle pasta, according to the waiter the same as on the menu, except that it appeared as a special dish on the bill - for 50 instead of 38 euros. Absolutely fine if the pasta was good, but it was mediocre at best. We ordered Escargot as a starter and it was flavourless and not cleaned properly. The scallops were bland and not the level of freshness you’d expect of this type of establishment. Bottom line: Waaaay overpriced for what it is. Go elsewhere for a white table cloth dinner.

Dissapointing! We ordered appetizers and after an hour the waiter was surprised we didn't get any food. The cod fish was very tough and not good. All the other food was mediocre, not worth the price. We came to celebrate my 40th birthday, the waiter knew and even asked me about it in the beginning of the meal, but eventually did nothing about. We saw another table getting a firework.

I don’t get the love for this place. We dined here for lunch this past week. Insanely high prices.it was recommended by an Italian friend. The waiter recommended veal Milanese with fries doe the kids. We complied, as we thought it would be good. The veal was no bigger than the palm of an adult hand and the chips were 12 euros. That dish was over 40 euros. The prices are obnoxious for the quality of the food and service. We served our own Prosecco and water for most of the service. My paccheri pasta good , slightly overcooked imo. Was it worth the prices and am I dying to go back ? No way. Prices and quality don’t meet. I’m always happy to pay for amazing food and an experience. This lacked it all.

NOTE: When you see reaction and comment from the owner you can imagine what kind of persons run this restaurant! They just prove that my comment is true from the first word to the last. Avoid this restaurant if you want to enjoy your evening in pleasant atmosphere! ORIGINAL COMMENT: What a behavior. Very common service behavior nowadays in Italy offered to non-italian speaking persons. Probably saving better table for walk-in Italian customers. When we complain thay told us that restaurant is fully booked, which was obvious a lie, since there was 20:30 and just few tables where used. So, we can’t switch the table. Waiter and manager was rude and arrogant and we decided to leave. Pitty what, once nice restaurant, become. If you want nice food and polite service and you are NOT Italian, beware of this dump. You can find better places for spending money on overpriced meals and wines.

Terrible service, weird food, and insanely overpriced. Seriously the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. We waited over 40 minutes for the waiter to bring over water or ask for our drink order. Since it took so long we decided to order everything at once- drinks, apps, and mains in fear that the waiter wouldn’t come back. We were right, we received all of our food but the waiter never came over to ask if we needed anything else or another drink. At the end of our meal, after finally flagging down someone to give us a check, they had the audacity to charge us for more than we ordered. Very upsetting
