Insieme alla mia fidanzata abbiamo mangiato una gricia, una cacio e pepe, dei saltimbocca e una coda alla vaccinara eccezionali!! Siamo stati serviti da Francesco, gentile, professionale e simpatico! Terminiamo il nostro pranzo con una squisita cheesecake. Domenica 18 gennaio 2026 che ricorderemo!!

Abbiamo pranzato alla trattoria Fortunata Pellegrino e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Come antipasto abbiamo scelto bruschetta e burrata, entrambe freschissime e deliziose. A seguire, una pasta alla carbonara e una cacio e pepe: piatti squisiti, ricchi di gusto e preparati alla perfezione. Il personale di sala è stato gentilissimo, accogliente e sempre attento a ogni nostra richiesta, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Una trattoria autentica dove si mangia benissimo. Consigliatissima! E se ve lo diciamo noi che veniamo da Catania, dove il cibo è una religione… potete crederci sulla parola! 😄

Sono stata qui nel giorno 3/01/26! Non è la prima volta che mi fermo a gustare i piatti di questa osteria e come sempre… non delude! Cibo di altissima qualità e servizio impeccabile da parte del simpaticissimo cameriere Luca che ci ha consigliato la carbonara ed abbacchio con patate! Ci ritornerò ancora e ancora…

L’Osteria da Fortunata conferma tutto ciò che la rende famosa: cucina autentica, piatti curati e un’atmosfera calorosa che ti fa sentire immediatamente nel posto giusto. Una menzione speciale va a Luca, il cameriere: estremamente simpatico, presente senza mai essere invadente, con una naturalezza rara nel rapporto con il cliente. La sua professionalità sfiora il virtuosismo: conosce il menu alla perfezione, sa consigliare con intelligenza e trasmette una passione genuina per il suo lavoro. Il servizio, grazie a lui, diventa parte integrante dell’esperienza e non un semplice contorno. Quando il cibo è ottimo ma il servizio lo eleva a un livello superiore, significa che il lavoro è fatto come si deve. Complimenti davvero. Tornerò senza alcun dubbio.

2/03/2026. Carbonara eccezionale, la migliore mangiata qui a Roma, Luca ci ha consigliato il carciofo fritto ed era veramente ottimo. Prezzi un po’ superiori alla media ma la qualità è eccezionale e ne vale la pena.

Siamo venuti in questo posto rinomatissimo, proprio perché è uno dei più conosciuti in città e porta il mio nome . Abbiamo prenotato grazie al servizio whatsapp semplicissimo e ci siamo recati nella sede di via del Pellegrino. È stata un’esperienza fantastica sia per il cibo di ottima qualità, dall’antipasto legato alla tradizione ai primi, che per il servizio. Fabrizio 07/03/2026 All’osteria da Fortuna, se trovate Fabrizio all’ingresso evitate pure la fila: lui sistema tutto. Però poi ve lo ritroverete durante il pranzo/serata tra una battuta e l’altra a passare al tavolo per controllare se va tutto bene… probabilmente più per chiacchierare che per il servizio,in quanto dirige solo i suoi poveri colleghi.😮‍💨 Ma alla fine è proprio questo il bello: simpaticissimo, sempre con la battuta pronta, riesce a rendere il pranzo/serata ancora più piacevole. Insomma, si mangia bene… ma anche due risate non mancano. (Ah, aggiungo per il collega che vero il tiramisù era troppo grande)

Osteria da Fortunata è, a mio avviso, uno dei posti migliori dove abbia mai mangiato una carbonara davvero eccezionale. Gli strozzapreti erano ottimi e si sentiva tutta la qualità della pasta fresca. Sono andata in due giorni diversi, in due locali differenti: uno di fronte al Pantheon e uno in Via dei Pellegrini. Entrambi eccellenti, stessa qualità e stessa attenzione. Ho preso dei supplì, davvero molto buoni, poi una carbonara e una gricia. La carbonara per me non la batte nessuno: cremosa, saporita, perfetta. La gricia forse mi è sembrata leggermente più delicata, quasi un po’ “annacquata”, ma sono gusti personali perché era comunque molto buona. Servizio eccellente: camerieri super simpatici e disponibili, ci hanno dato anche ottimi consigli su altre cose da vedere e fare a Roma. 07/01/2026. Osteria da Fortunata, Via del Pellegrino 11, Roma. Sono stata due volte in due giorni in questa osteria. Una parola per descrivere la mia esperienza è: indimenticabile. Il cibo è favoloso e i camerieri super disponibili e cordiali. Oggi sono stata seguita da Luca. Lui molto simpatico e ben disposto. Parlando del cibo, penso sia il posto in cui ho mangiato meglio in tutta Roma. Ogni piatto era semplicemente spaziale. Per quanto riguarda l’attesa, la prima volta ho dovuto aspettare in fila circa 10 minuti, ma semplicemente perché non avevo prenotato ed è un luogo molto affluente. La seconda volta invece sono entrata subito. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

Una giornata davvero impeccabile al' osteria Fortunata (canpo dei fiori) Cibo eccellente e veloce, piatti curati nei minimi dettagli e sapori AUTENTICI che conquistano al primo assaggio. 08/03/2026 Ogni volta che ci veniamo è sempre una certezza. Livelli top. Servizio impeccabile e cucina romana vera. Pasta fatta in casa. Fabrizio è stato molto attento e simpatico. Consiglio.

Ultimamente a Roma ho ricevuto molte fregate. E così mi sono fatto consigliare questo ristorante da uno del posto e devo dire che ho fatto veramente bene! Tutti i piatti sono estremamente buoni e ben curati!! Dire che mi é piaciuto é riduttivo! Le porzioni sono molto abbondanti, quindi anche se il prezzo é leggermente più alto é più che giustificato. Il servizio é ottimo, tutti molto gentili e disponibili, e poco invadenti. Lo stra consiglio!

Esperienza da rifare. Abbiamo pranzato in compagnia di amici una domenica e ne é valsa la pena. Qualità del cibo e qualità del sevizio di Luca impeccabili. Gentilezza e disponibilità che sicuramente ci faranno ritornare !

I dined here recently and sat outside in their covered terrace area, which had a great atmosphere. The restaurant felt far less touristic than many others nearby and appeared to be full of locals, which is always a good sign. It also meant the pricing felt very fair rather than inflated for tourists. I started with a Caprese salad, followed by oxtail pasta for my main and a ricotta tart with chocolate to finish. Everything was excellent. The pasta in particular was outstanding, rich, comforting and full of flavour, clearly made with care and tradition in mind. Dessert was equally enjoyable and a perfect way to end the meal. To drink, I had a Coke, still water, a glass of their house white wine, a Moscato and a cortado, all of which were well served and reasonably priced. The total bill came to around £50 all in, which felt like great value for the quality and quantity. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and polite, with nothing ever feeling like too much trouble. As is common in many places in Rome, card tips were not possible here, so instead I bought the team a bottle of wine of their choice to enjoy after their shift, which they seemed genuinely grateful for. One of the highlights of the visit was being invited behind the counter to watch and film the nonne making fresh pasta. Seeing them work up close was a brilliant experience and really reinforced the authenticity of the place. I would highly recommend Osteria da Fortunata to anyone visiting Rome. A fantastic meal, warm service and a true taste of local Roman dining.

Fresh al dente pasta made to order. The Amatriciana was the best in Rome, lovely deep pork fat flavour and a slight heat kick from the chili. This place also serves the best aubergine parmigiana. Freshly baked with fresh eggplant and generous amount of parmesan and mozzarella. We arrived at 17:30 and got a table straight away with no queueing. Service was friendly and staff speak good English. Decor is rustic and homely.

We went for dinner here. The food was very nice but the service was exceptional. The waiter explained everything and was very friendly and patient. The pasta was very nice and so vas the tiramisu ( only a photo of the last bite, forgot the take a picture ). The caprese was phenomenal. The tastiest mozzarella i have eaten. The only thing I didn't like was how jacked the tables were. It is very crowded. Also a bit pricy.

This was my second visit to Osteria da Fortunata, and it came about after my reservation at Ristorante Colosseo Luzzi was unexpectedly canceled. Despite the change of plans, I’m glad I ended up here again. I was seated on the terrace this time, so I didn’t get the chance to see the interior or fully experience the ambiance inside. That said, the food more than made up for it. I absolutely loved my pasta — I believe it was a gricia — rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The fiore di zucca was also excellent and a real highlight. The waiters were very “Italian” 😄 — lively and straightforward — but honestly, two thumbs up for the service. Efficient, authentic, and part of the charm. Overall, another great experience at Osteria da Fortunata.

We visited Osteria da Fortunata in Rome today (20th November) and absolutely loved it. The food was outstanding – you can really taste that the pasta and sauces are homemade. I had the cacio e pepe, my husband had the pesto pasta, and both dishes were full of flavour and perfectly cooked. We finished with what was honestly the best tiramisu ever – light, creamy and delicious. Service was just as impressive as the food. Our waiter Peppe was excellent – quick, friendly, attentive and always with a smile. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The pasta was outstanding, especially the carbonara—perfectly al dente with a rich, velvety sauce that struck the ideal balance between creamy and savory. The fresh made pasta is cut and rolled by these sweet ladies in the window. The food is fantastic so be ready to wait in line (we waited about 30 minutes) but definitely well worth the wait. You can call them at 11 am to make reservations, definitely will do that next time. Great location in front of the Pantheon and just great food. Definitely come here when visiting Rome.

This is one of the sort after restaurant in rome totally living up to the expectations. You would understand that when tourists wait outside and not the waiter tp invite you inside the restaurant, then you are in the right place for having your food in Rome. This was one such place. I waited briefly to get a seat. The service was super fast and the staff were super friendly. I tried the famous cacio e pepe, with limoncello for my lunch. The pasta is one of the best i have ever tasted so far. I followed it up with s tiramisu which was perfect. So i would highly recommend this restaurant when you sre visiting Rome. Happy eating 🤤

BOOMBA...This place was a hit! Right around the corner from the apartment. We arrived just as lunch began and waited maybe 2min. I ordered and devoward the Gnocchi Sorrento Style which was great!! Pasta lady making fresh pasta at the window and you can definitely taste it. My plate took longer than usual as it is baked. Mozzarella with crispy edging around the dish, soooo good. My wife had the fettuccine All'Amatricana which was also great. Over all definitely will be coming back.

Classica osteria romana con piatti tipici della tradizione. Storzzapreti (pasta fresca) fatti a mano quotidianamente di ottima fattura, molto buoni anche i condimenti. Ottimi anche i fritti, in particolare i fiori di zucca ripieni. Porzioni molto abbondanti. Non è possibile prenotare ma occorre mettersi in fila ed aspettare. Tempi molto lunghi per avere un tavolo, non tanto per il servizio che risulta veloce ma per la fila infinita.

Buona osteria, molto turistica, al centro di Roma dove si mangiano tipici piatti romani con i primi preparati con pasta fatta in casa. Siamo andati prima delle 13:00 e non abbiamo trovato fila per entrare. Tavolini molto piccoli ed attaccati l'un l'altro. Abbiamo preso in coppia un carciofo alla romana, due carbonare, un abbacchio al forno con patate ed un tiramisù. Tutto buono, abbacchio eccellente. Prezzo medio/alto con acqua e coperto abbiamo speso più di 80€

Popular with a younger crowd, small, off the beaten path place. Service was ok, the food was out fast once we ordered and I loved my homemade pasta with the bacon and artichoke. They make the pasta in the window! I feel they know they are popular among the college crowd, so they don't make it too touristy, but maybe during the busy season it is different? It felt more trendy than charming.

“ Vino della casa” c’è solo al calice, se vuoi 1/2 litro, piuttosto che un litro non c’è. Molto rumoroso, io poi sono sorda non riuscivo a conversare. Prezzi molto alti! Location molto brutta per quello che costano i piatti. Personale molto gentile. Carbonara molto buona , fiore di zucca ripiena, niente di che, mangiato di meglio per meno della metà del prezzo. Cheese cake così così, la composta era aspra.

This place is very hyped, and I’ll admit, the lady making fresh pasta in the window is cool — definitely worth stopping to watch (and yes, take a picture). That said… the food really didn’t do it for me. I couldn’t even finish the dish. When the waiter asked how it was and I politely said “not wow,” he told me it was because I was on my phone and didn’t eat it fresh. Trust me, Mark — that wasn’t the issue. The zucchini blossom was oily, and the pasta wasn’t what you imagine pasta in Rome to be. Might be your thing, but it definitely wasn’t mine. Two stars — only for the pasta lady.

Overrated food. Looks good but does not taste much. The pasta was like boiled dough. Gnocchi was hard to swallow. We also ordered rabbit. It was super oily. Probably the rabbit was one of the worst dishes we have ever had. Aperol was ok. I don't fancy the concept of eating on paper. Not pretty for a proper restaurant. The queue gets crazy because it is a small place and people seem to sit forever.

Service was pretty slow despite them not being busy. It was about 9pm and there was no line to get in. We were also sat in the back of a cramped corner of the middle room despite there being several tables open in other areas that seemed more spacious. At one point it even felt like we were purposely being ignored since an Italian couple who sat down 10 minutes after us were seated next to the lady making the fresh pasta and had their order taken within 3 min and even got their food served before the waiter could even get to us. When we finally had our order taken after 15 min of waiting, the attitude of our waiter seemed pretty off as well. It felt like he didn’t want us there at all. As for the food, we started off with red wine and their caprese which was good. We also had the carbonara since that’s what was recommended but it just tasted wayyyyy too salty and the pasta seemed undercooked. And I’m someone who likes to add salt to everything too. I’ve read the restaurant’s responses to other reviewers who has the same criticism on TripAdvisor and they’ve kept responding that “Roman food is typically salty” so take that as you will with a grain of salt (haha). Just wanted to let anyone know in case they felt the same way about the taste. They also mentioned in their other responses to other reviews that we could have returned our dishes to have it remade but we didn’t want to seem rude. We also got tiramisu which was surprisingly my favorite dish from the restaurant. I went up to the cashier to pay but was just left standing awkwardly for an extended period of time as the cashier was busy making small talk to her coworkers despite the restaurant no longer being busy at that point. I mean like only 2-3 tables still eating and 5 workers crowded in the main room just hanging out while I’m waiting to pay. Could just be a cultural difference so idk but it’s something to keep in mind for anyone reading this. Overall, pretty mid compared to my expectations with all the hype I’ve seen and food was okay. We had high expectations due to the recommendations from social media so I’m not sure if their quality went down due to them being trendy lately. I honestly didn’t even know they had that whole gimmick with the lady making fresh pasta at the front but I’m sure that’s part of the reason why this place is famous. Fyi: don’t trust the palettes of food reviewers from reddit or tiktok lol
