Ieri ci siamo stati per la prima volta, siamo venuti da Napoli per provare la cucina di Tony😍 Bhe che dire, ECCEZIONALE😍 non ho mai mangiato una carbonara così buona è perfetta, tutto al punto giusto. Veramente spettacolare. Erano buonissime anche là Cacio e l’amatriciana. Abbiamo presto anche l’antipasto misto molto buono e vario, ed in fine sorbetto caffè e tiramisù tutto squisito. Cucina tutto Tony con le sue mani, un uomo spettacolare, da una bontà unica 🥰 Nonostante l’affluenza i tempi di attesa sono stati brevissimi, locale pulitissimo, e personale alquanto disponibile, attento, gentile e preparato. Ci ritornere sicuramente insieme a Martina ed Edo. ♥️

Amazing!!! The BEST pasta I’ve had during my trip in Italy! The truffle ravioli, spicy penne, and grilled steak was a meal to remember!! The staff was attentive, friendly, and service was prompt! I’ll be dreaming about this pasta and will probably visit one more time before heading back to the states because it was that GOOD!

Best meal we had in Rome without a doubt. Especially carbonara is unbelievably good. Wait time was long even though we arrived early and entered without a line, that is the only downside. Service was fine and the prices were reasonable.

This restaurant was recommended in a couple of articles online and Instagram so I saved it on my list. The first day we arrive at night the line was too long. Probably an hour wait so we end up going to a different restaurant. Then we came back on Sunday lunch around 12pm. In Google it says it opens at 12:30 but it was already open at 12 and full of people. We didn't wait for the line tho, was able to sit right away. We tried something new gnocchi and a local intestine dish tomato sauce. It was good but because of all the reviews and people saying it's one of the best restaurants in the city, we had high expectations 😶 it was okay. We end up paying 29 euro for 2 dish and wine. Pretty reasonable. I guess we ordered the wrong food.

The food is amazing at this restaurant. The service is not the best but it is understandable due to the fast pace environment. The servers just want to take the order and move onto the next table. Sometimes they can appear to be dismissive. However the food makes up for it. We got the calamari, caprese salad, penne vodka and lasagna. All very delicious.

Had such a great experience here! Food was absolutely delicious! We arrived when they first opened and were able to walk right in and be seated! Staff is very welcoming and friendly! Highly recommend this restaurant!

We arrived at 12PM, but the restaurant wasn’t open yet, and we finally got our table at 12:20 PM. By then, the lines were already long (Sunday lunch crowd). The restaurant itself is small and feels a bit cramped inside, but I guess that’s typical for an Italian restaurant setting. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the wait easier. We ordered Carbonara, Steak, and Tiramisu. The Carbonara was delicious with a generous serving, the steak was thick, juicy, and flavorful, and the Tiramisu was perfect, not too sweet, just the way we like it. Overall, a satisfying experience and definitely worth every penny.

A highlight of our trip to Italy! We were fortunate to catch the restaurant just before closing on a Tuesday night. The service was fantastic, energetic and timely. The food was some of the best we had while in Italy. Mussels were off the chart good! Veal was phenomenal. Pasta was delicious. Thank you Chef Tony and the entire staff for a memorable evening!

We arrived at 6pm for dinner and have to wait for a bit ~30 minutes but it was so worth it. The food was so good but my gnocchi was overcook and little bit too salty but that grilled lamb and the oxtail dish took over ! Juicy and tasty, potatoes was cook and seasoned to perfection. Price is also very cheap compare to other places, would highly reccommended!!!

We had the most unforgettable dining experience at La Tavernetta 29 da Tony e Andrea! After a 16-hour flight from Indonesia, this place made it absolutely worth it. The Italian cuisine here is top-notch — probably the best we've ever had! We ordered the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Ravioli al Tartufo, Risotto agli Scampi, and Saltimbocca alla Romana — every dish was cooked to perfection, full of authentic flavor and passion. A special shoutout to Alex, our waiter, who truly made our night. He's a legend! Friendly, attentive, and gave us an experience we’ll never forget. We’re already planning to come back and can’t recommend this gem enough to anyone visiting Rome. Don’t miss it!

We arrived a bit early to the lunch service and had to wait about 40 minutes in front of the restaurant, but we didn't mind it so much. When they sat us down, we were immediately greeted and attended by a wonderful waiter who was very funny and diligent. We ordered a couple of sides instead of appetizers (roasted potatoes and the zucchini), and then had a pasta carbonara and steak for the main course. All of the food was delicious and came with large portions. We were able to eat our leftovers for dinner later that evening at the airport because the quality was so good! At one point the chef came out and everyone applauded, he served another table his famous pasta carbonara and it was a great atmosphere. For dessert, our waiter gave us a free tiramisu to share and it was the perfect amount of sweetness to finish the meal. We will definitely go back anytime we're in Rome!

The food here is simply outstanding – absolutely unforgettable flavors that melt in your mouth. Although we waited about 1.5 hours for a table on the first day, we came back the next day just for the food. It was that good. We were a group of 8, and even though the restaurant doesn’t have tables that large, the staff made a real effort. The first day, they seated us close to each other, and the second day, they combined tables so we could all sit together. The staff were incredibly friendly and clearly professionals in what they do. The atmosphere is cozy and charming. The only downside was a small mistake on the bill – a few extra drinks were added, which we didn’t notice until later. But overall, the experience was excellent, and if I visit Rome again, I will definitely come back!

An extraordinary place! It’s quite popular and often there’s a wait for hours, so I recommend going at 7 pm to get a table. The meat is cooked to perfection and the portions are really large—this is the first time I’ve actually eaten a lot of pasta! The dessert is also special - I liked the pistachio cake. Definitely a place I would return to for very, very good food. Highly recommend!

Locale molto affollato, attesa all'esterno di circa 40 minuti in quanto non accettano prenotazioni. Porzioni MOLTO abbondanti, tutto molto buono. Servizio abbastanza lento ma vale la pena attendere.

Attesa molto lunga prima di potersi sedere, però alla fine ne è valsa la pena. La carbonara era davvero buona e le porzioni sono pure abbondanti. Esperienza consigliata.

Tempi di attesa un po’ lunghi verso l’ora di pranzo. Il locale si presenta con un bel ambiente alla romana maniera. Il servizio dei camerieri è stato molto buono, si sono subito adoperati al nostro tavolo portando tutto il necessario prima di ordinare. Abbiamo ordinato una carbonara e una cacio e pepe ed hanno rispettato le nostre aspettative ( abbondante, gustosa,armonica) molto buone. Abbiamo ordinato anche 2 dolci, cioè una panna cotta e un tiramisù, però purtroppo il tiramisù non era consistente. qualità prezzo buona.

Spinta dai video sui social ho scelto questo locale. Sono arrivata di domenica a pranzo alle 12.45 sorpresa di non aver trovato fila. Ci siamo seduti subito e il servizio è stato cortese e tempi di attesa nella norma. Ho ordinato una carbonara era un piatto super abbondante e davvero buono , anche i carciofi sono stati apprezzati. Mi aspettavo che venisse lui a servirci come avevo visto in tutti i video ma ahimè il piatto mi è stato portato normalmente e questo mi ha lasciato un po’ delusa. Per il resto cibo e costi molto bilanciati

Siamo arrivati a cena in questa taverna tramite il tam tam sui social. E devo dire che è la vera trattoria romana, nel cuore di Trastevere. Ambiente bello e accogliente, camerieri solerti e simpaticissimi. Piatti come la carbonara, o amatriciana, qualcosa di sublime. I migliori soldi spesi per una cena a Roma. È stato bello assistere anche al loro modo di portare in tavola i primi con un allegro siparietto. E I prezzi sono più che giusti.

It’s a nice place with good quality food. We tried the Amatriciana and the Carbonara — both were really tasty! Now, on the negative side, it’s quite frustrating that the staff don’t speak any English. I don’t think it’s acceptable to work in the center of Rome and not be able to communicate with customers. Also, I’d suggest not leaving the grated Parmesan out for hours — cheese needs to be kept cool, otherwise it can go bad.

Food was amazing no complain however the staff, not all, but some we’re not so welcoming maybe because they were already tired considering the number of people coming and the supervisor was not really patient with the guests and his colleagues. Got bothered with how hot tempered he is and made me and friend to not enjoy our stay and food in the restaurant.

Food was very good. Very rushed service. Barely sat down and want full order. We wanted appetizer told no. Have to place whole order. Harassed until we ordered. Then literally took my mussel plate away while I was still eating. Mussels were delicious fyi. Then main for one person of 3 came. Said no we are eating appetizer still. Left then 2 servers came. When my husband tried to explain we were still on appetizers he told my husband to SHUT UP. WOW. Ruined our night from there. I get your busy but really???? If not for us and Instagram you would not have a line. Food delicious. Service SUCKS. Good portions. Good prices.

The experience of the Chef didn’t happen Ashe didn’t show up. Food: Overall, disappointing. The beef was undercooked and tough to chew, the bread was hard, although the pasta was the only redeeming item. Price: Overpriced for the quality and experience. Ambience: The lighting was harsh, the decor lacked any charm, and the place was uncomfortably crowded. Service: While the service inside was decent, the experience at the entrance was shockingly unprofessional. The queue manager repeatedly came out to tell us we might not get a table, instead of giving a clear answer. It felt like the restaurant prioritized its own convenience over the comfort of hungry guests waiting outside. They could easily count and inform guests early on if there’s no chance of dining, instead of keeping everyone standing until the last table is filled. Verdict: Definitely not coming back.

Arrived to two members of staff having a blazing row in the street. Although there were empty tables there seemed to be some complicated system of queuing outside, and one of the waiters stood right in front of my table with his back to me for the whole meal. A great caprese salad was followed by a dreadful carbonara, with over cooked egg that was nearer scrambled than saucy, and guan ale that was so salty it killed any other flavour. It is only the Caprese that got this review its second star. Like others, I was drawn in by the Social media posts, and was thoroughly disappointed by the dining experience.

Non è possibile che facciano 220 km per venire a magiare qui ed essere trattatati peggio del previsto da un cameriere biondo che probabilmente non ha nemmeno voglia di lavorare, dopo circa 30 minuti di attesa ci hanno fatto dividere perché la cucina chiudeva e le persone dovevano affrettarsi a prenotare , scusate ma perché ci fai mettere in fila e dopo lo dici ? , l’unica cosa che volevo far presente è che la pulizia era pessima specialmente a terra per non parlare della custodia della carne nel frigo vetrina la carne incelofanata ma siete seri se viene un controllo ce la chiusura . Fate tutta questa pubblicità della carbonara ma fate i seri che ci sono posti molto migliori a livello

Sarei stata felice di provare la cucina, ma purtroppo l’esperienza si è interrotta prima ancora di iniziare. Arrivate al ristorante, veniamo fatte accomodare. Un cameriere (biondo) ci propone alcuni piatti. Al momento dell’ordine, mia madre precisa di voler prendere solo un antipasto e un contorno, non avendo molta fame, mentre io avrei ordinato un primo e probabilmente anche un secondo. A quel punto il cameriere biondo, con tono infastidito e poco cortese, ci comunica che, essendoci sedute, avremmo dovuto necessariamente ordinare almeno un primo o un secondo a testa. Alla nostra sorpresa, interviene anche un altro membro del personale ribadendo la stessa cosa e motivando il tutto con la fila fuori, ma in realtà avremmo comunque ordinato più portate, quindi il prezzo finale sarebbe stato superiore, rendendo la giustificazione ancora più ridicola. Al di là della politica del locale, condivisibile o meno, ciò che ho trovato inaccettabile è stato il modo, decisamente scortese e poco professionale. Non posso esprimere giudizi sul cibo perché non abbiamo avuto modo di provarlo, ma l’atteggiamento del personale, per quanto ci riguarda, è stato sufficiente. L'offerta a Roma non manca, la qualità è quasi sempre di alto livello ma la cortesia è imprescindibile. Mai più

Unfortunately i can’t recommend this place . We had carbonara and parm chicken and aperol. The carbonara was bad, the sauce tasted only of olive oil, they looked good but the taste was bad i couldn’t even finish half of them, the chicken well we didn’t knew we were eating chicken it was tasting of nothing. The aperol was from a bottle most probably not made there and for the fist time we didn’t drink them . The stuff is nice but the food unfortunately it’s not something i would recomand.The wait for the food to get ready took longer then expected and unfortunately people that arrived after us got the food first.I am no cook but for sure i make a better carbonara which is sad honestly. I though maybe we choose the wrong food but next two us were a couple and they had the same opinions.
