I had an incredible experience here. We’re rushing to catch a train. Sat down and told them my problem. They banged out my food in 15 minutes and was out of there with plenty of time to catch my train within the one hour I sat down. Plus they serve me a mega pint of wine. Definitely planning on coming back.

We ordered 2 traditional pastas, the carbonara & amatriciana which were exactly what we wished for. The suppli was also tasty. The star of the show was the tiramisu which was perfect. It’s right down the street from the train terminal. Highly recommend.

This was our first meal in Italy/Rome. And it couldn't have a better start than this. Absolutely amazing food! We ordered Seafood Risotto and Shrimp&Tomato Spaghetti. We were blown away by the taste. And the servers were very nice and kind as well!

I can only recommend trying the delicious and price worthy food of the La Lupa Restaurant. We had two amazing waitresses. The bruschetta was perfect and also our main courses were perfect. 10/10 💛

Superb quality food at this friendly little restaurant near Termini. All the usual menu options but the execution of it is excellent. The only minor quibble is that like most Roman restaurants the lighting is a bit bright for my taste. But at least you can see how good the food is and your empty plates!

This was our FIRST meal in Rome after getting off a trans-Atlantic flight and popping up out of the train station... And let me tell you, it was a PERFECT way to start our trip to Rome and the Amalfi Coast. We were all tired and hangry at 9PM at night after traveling for almost a full day from Louisville, Kentucky to Chicago to Dublin to Rome. We stumbled across this place after we stowed our bags at our Airbnb a block from train station. At first, I was unsure if we were sitting down to have a super turisty meal by the look of the patio and size and scale of the menu... But quickly my family and girlfriend and I found, we had stumbled across a ROMAN gem (and there were in fact quite a few Italians dining on the patio too). We drank a beautiful bottle of Ribolla Gialla that was stunning and cheap. We ate a seafood salad, a caprese salad and a prosciutto and melon antipasti that were each fantastic. THE HIGHLIGHT though was the Cacio e Pepe pasta that hands down was better than ANY we had in Rome (and we must have sampled the classic Roman dish five or six times at other great trattorias and osterias). The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and "the sauce" was prepared outside in a giant parmesan wheel - the flavors were incredible. The owner/GM Andreas was so good to us. He helped guide the tired Americans like fish out of the water through the meal, and taught us new words in Italian and treated us with dignity and kindness and humor like we were family. We all took photos together and they brought out complimentary limoncello and made us feel beyond welcome. What a great first meal. What a restaurant. I suggest everyone who is traveling through Rome Termini to stop off at this eatery. You won't be disappointed. Grazie Andreas!!!!! Grazie La Lupa!!!

I went especially for the cacio e pepe made in the pecorino wheel. I was not disappointed. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the cacio melted and stirred up right before my eyes. It was delicious and with a side of mixed vegetables and a basket of the freshest, softest bread I was very happy. The Maitre d' suggested a wine I might like and poured a generous glass. Service was exceptional - attentive, quick, friendly and professional. I watched with interest how the chefs cooked in the kitchen, the wait staff attended to customers, and noticed how seriously they take their job. Impressed.

Bel locale vicino alla stazione Termini, ottima la scelta del menù degustazione peccato quella sera la pasta non era molto cremosa, la carne era buonissima, soprattutto i saltimbocca alla romana, personale molto cortese e simpatico, ci ha saputo consigliare anche un ottimo vino.

Ristorante piccolo, ma accogliente. Personale simpatico e gentile. L’amatriciana era così buona che è stata fatta anche la scarpetta!

Mi sono trovato molto bene molto accoglienti però è più un locale per turisti porzioni minime prezzi alti. Il cibo era buono fatto bene. Mi è capitato un insetto nel bicchiere pieno di acqua più di mezza bottiglia e mi ha tolto il bicchiere e non mi ha sostituito la bottiglia. 40 euro quello he vedete in foto più il dolce e 2 bottiglie di acqua

Ho cenato in questo ristorante una sera nella seconda decade di ottobre 2024. Ho optato per il menù turistico a 28 euro (bruschetta, mezze maniche alla carbonara, saltimbocca alla romana, dolce e acqua). Tutto ben preparato e ben servito. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consiglio.

Considerando che è in zona termini, aspettarsi del buon cibo è difficile. In realtà ho mangiato bene e sono stato servito come a casa da nonna. Supplì buoni, croccanti e filanti. Informale, a due passi da Termini, cucina tipica della Roma che manca. Servizio cortese, gioviale e col sorriso (che di 'sti tempi imbrutiti, è merce rara). went at around 6pm was quiet when we arrived but got busier throughout the night. food was good, service was relatively slow and had to ask for the bill after being sat for 20 minutes with no plates nor menus, however this may be a cultural difference. only complaint is we were initially ignored after being seated and didn’t have a drink order taken for 20 minutes after arrival (whilst being one of only 4 tables there, the other customers already having been served)

We had been recommended to try here by our host so I was really looking forward to trying their traditional regional pasta dishes. I do understand that restaurants can have bad days but oh my was this a bad day. I felt bad for the waitress... The restaurant was busy but each drink came out separately with 5 minutes in-between. We waited 40 minutes for food, not ideal but OK. Then only 2 of 4 plates came out. They apologised explained there was a problem in the kitchen. 20 minutes later the other 2 dishes came out. One was swimming in pasta water and the other the carbonara the chef clearly rushed to get out as the fat wasn't rendered down and the egg had been mixed in badly like scrambled egg. I could honestly of cooked it better myself. They did take one dish off the bill but by this point i was so disappointed, not a good first night in Rome at all. It wasn't just our table either other guests also waiting and issues with food.

The worst dining experience I have ever had. It was like eating at a bus stop and the place was sheer bedlam. Totally incompetent waiting service. Could not even provide the cheque after asking several times. Completely over priced and mediocre food. After examining the bill I was charged for the bread which I assumed was complimentary as it wasn't ordered. Somewhat inappropriate touching my girlfriend on her shoulder as a way of an apology every time they messed something up! Zero points across the board. Impressively dire.

Had an absolutely awful experience at this restaurant. First off, we arrived early and there were only a couple of other patrons there. We were seated outside by a slightly grouchy overweight man in his 50's. It was myself, my wife and my 4 year old daughter. We had had a long day and were looking for a light meal before walking back to our apartment around the corner. I ordered the 'Lupa' preset meal (advertised as a starter, main, second, dessert and a glass of wine for 28€). My wife ordered an appetizer and a glass of wine and our daughter said she wasn't hungry. The waiter was irritated by our order and even ridiculed us for ordering a 3 course meal and a side for "3 people!!!!" he said. The single appetizer came out quickly enough, but our daughter had completely fallen asleep by the time the first course had come out. It was pasta, came out cold, and was heavily over-salted. We decided not to mention anything as the waiter was already irritable and seemed to be avoiding us. It took another 20 minutes for anyone else to show up and when they did it was only to bring us our food. By then our wines were empty and no one asked if we wanted more or checked in on us at all. As our dirty plates started to pile up I was eating our second appetizer of Chicory and bit into a good-sized piece of black plastic in my meal. Possibly a broken cooking utensil or from a lid of some kind... 20 minutes later when we were finally checked in on again, I mentioned it to our irritated server who literally said nothing, took the plate and waved his hands dismissively at me. It took another 10 minutes for dessert to be tossed onto our table and for our wine glasses to remain empty. To top it all off, when I went to pay (which at this point I shouldn't have even done...) the bill was wrong and had additional meals and charges all over it. Furthermore, they charged 30€ for a meal that's clearly marked as 28€ on both the menu and the sign by the doorway. There were plenty of staff, but they all seemed to prefer hanging out together at the doorway than serving their patrons. We've had plenty of meals in Rome, we've had plenty of restaurant experiences all over the world....and I would say - in the past 10 years or so - this was the worst. Slow service. Unprofessional staff. Mediocre food. Improper charges. Terrible. Would not recommend.

I ordered salmon pasta and sirloin steak, they end up giving me PORK, and forced me to eat it. I raised the problem and the male staff yelled WE DONT HAVE BEEF just eat the pork and scolded me pointed at me say JUST EAT IT as if im the one in the wrong. If you want humane treatment while paying 35€ euros then certainly go to this restaurant. I will spread awareness about their customer service on other platforms as well. Most absurd and crazy service from restaurant I’ve ever met in my entire life. Good luck going here. It started with a smile and ended being treated like a prisoner.
